I also saw you mentioned that you had an issue with some counters not functioning properly (hopefully you don’t mean during gameplay 🤞🏻).

if you’re installing counters via package rather than by sims3pack the textures tend to get a bit funky when trying to create corner counters. super quick fix is to just click the default preset and that will fix it - then just recolour to fix the other counters🫡

i've gotten.. soo many wcif's & requests to upload elyse's bedroom or the cc links, and i'm not uploading her bedroom, because it's for my instagram story, and i don't want anyone else to have it lol, so i linked *every* single piece of cc in all of these pics. yes, it took a long fking time. but i hope everyones happy lol.

in the pics above, the little numbers on each cc is what is linked to the # on the google doc link! beware, there may be a few paywalled patreon links, but i tried my best to link all the paywalled stuff to a free link.. either on s4s or ts4 rebels (the vault). shh dont tell anyone!

Hiya!! How do you make your sims look so animated and similar to LIS!? The way yours skins look are stunning, and I’m DYING to have whatever cc it is!?

heyyy ;) so i use a shit ton but i did answer a similar ask here listing my fave skin details. adding to that, i also recommend these lip tints + this body blush (i only use dark) to give your sims more life.

i usually make sims in the order of:

1. sculpting the face 2. adding tints, depth/shadows, + highlights (usually in occult and tattoos slots) 3. adding overlays/blends + features (skin details) 4. makeup

Quick question, for your grocery store, how did you have your sims buy stuff like ingredients? I’m trying to build a grocery myself and need some tips for how to make it functional. If this makes any sense? I normally play with simple living as well and don’t wanna keep using the phone to order groceries ☺️Thank you in advance!

Tried to find a yt video on this but surprisingly there wasn't one, So I made a super quick "guide" based on my own personal gameplay :)

So you built your grocery store but when you take your sims shopping nothing is for sale?

What you gotta do after you finish building your store and placing all the items is have someone (does not matter who) buy it (you can cheat for this as will probably be pricy) and then go to the now owned store with said "owner" and individually set EVERYTHING u want your sims to buy for sale ( so tedious ik!!!) and then when that's all done u can save it to the gallery and whenever you place it down you wont need to buy it again an even unowned all the items that was set for sale will remain for sale. Then you can have your sims just go to the lot and buy stuff :)

Can't set cottage living ingredients for sale?

Yes unfortunately for some reasons items like flour and sugar cannot be set for sale :( However I found a mod that is basically a portable grocery stall so won't break the immersion of buying groceries from your store.

hi girlie! no worries, always happy to answer a wcif (even though sometimes it takes me a while to reply..)

the eyelashes are by s-club, but weirdly enough they're no longer on tsr?!

i have uploaded them to simfileshare with the mesh / eyelash removal & slider (obvs not taking credit here, but i tried to find them before reuploading and they've just disappeared off the face of the earth?)

the hair can be found here <3 and the white dots in the eyes are from the contacts i use.

Thanks so much anon, you are too kind! TS2 was always my favorite sims game so that may have something to do with it 😉 I almost exclusively use gvbesims' Bright Preset 1.0 (here). I use it with gshade but it works with reshade too! It's an older preset, but I've never had any issues and love how bright it makes the game. Thanks for the ask and happy simming! ✨
