“On a technological as well as a policy level, the instruments for reducing global warming are a part of the problem, rather than the solution. Because emissions reductions are designed to enable the continuous economic growth on which capitalism is predicated, “going green” means, more than anything else, a shift from fossil fuel energy to renewable energy on a massive, industrialized scale. But renewable energies on an industrial scale are also extremely destructive.
Hydroelectric power is currently the foremost renewable energy source. Hydroelectric dams are extremely destructive to build. They require a huge amount of concrete, production of which is one of the main greenhouse gas emitters, they cause the loss of huge amounts of forest and farmland, they kill off riverine species such as salmon, they disrupt natural flooding cycles necessary to many ecosystems, and their reservoirs emit large quantities of methane.
Photovoltaic cells capturing solar energy—solar panels—frequently use toxic heavy metals such as cadmium, gallium, and lead in their construction. On a localized scale, houses in most climates could be heated, cooled, and provided with warm water through efficient design capturing solar energy. And if people were willing (and able) to alter their daily habits and limit their electricity usage, photovoltaics free of heavy metals could play a role in this. Many of the problems arise when we take the current energy economy and assume we can keep on operating in the same way, but with different inputs. To meet current energy usage, huge swathes of land would need to be appropriated, denuded, and fenced off for solar farms. And since photovoltaics are only productive during sunlight hours, we would have to construct an enormous infrastructure for energy storage and global high-voltage direct current power lines, meaning more toxic mining, more land grabbing, more energy expenditures, and more cancer and other illnesses. Solar panels also present a waste problem, as the typical panel only lasts 25 years. At current growth rates, by 2050 we could have 78 million metric tons of junk panels, and there is currently no good way to recycle them at an industrial scale.25 Andrea Brock and other researchers argue that, far from a “paradigmatic break,” solar energy “is merely the latest iteration of an industrial growth model” characterized by “undemocratic and unsustainable industrial processes, the concentration of corporate power and profits, and externalized waste and pollution.”26
Geothermal energy, aside from having a low efficiency, requires extensive drilling that can contaminate groundwater. The technology uses pentane, a highly toxic, flammable liquid. Geothermal plants release small amounts of methane and the toxic gas hydrogen sulfide, which causes acid rain. In accidents, geothermal plants can release large amounts, such as occurred at a single Hawai’i geothermal plant during a drilling blowout in 1991, in 2013 after an equipment malfunction, and later in 2018 when the plant was damaged by a volcanic eruption.27
Nuclear power is not a renewable energy, given that it expends its fuel source, uranium, though there is a huge lobby seeking to promote it. Countries began adopting nuclear energy in the first place not for its energy benefits, but because it advanced their nuclear weapons programs. Nuclear plants come with a constant risk of meltdown, releasing large amounts of deadly radiation into the atmosphere and potentially making the territory uninhabitable for millennia. In the West, pop cultural representations of the Chernobyl meltdown ascribe the disaster to Soviet incompetence, but meltdowns and near meltdowns at Fukushima, Japan, Three Mile Island, United States, and Loir-et-Cher, France, shine a light on Cold War propaganda and show that no regime is immune to disaster.
In fact, over one hundred nuclear accidents have occurred since 1952, the largest share of them in the US. But the daily, effective operation of a nuclear power plant may be even worse than a meltdown. In 2011, 75 percent of US nuclear power sites were found to be leaking radioactive tritium.28 Depleted plutonium rods have a half-life of 24,000 years, which, for reference, is far longer than agriculture or wheels have existed, more than 40 times longer than the longest lasting state survived, and roughly 500 to 1000 times longer than your typical nuclear storage site goes without experiencing a major leak. Nuclear proponents argue that the rods constitute a small volume of toxic material compared to mine tailing from coal production, for example. They tend to leave out the millions of tons of radioactive uranium mine tailings (11 million tons from a single site in Utah) and the 1.2 million metric tons of depleted uranium produced by uranium enrichment.29 This radioactive byproduct has a half-life of 4,400 million years (or, roughly the current age of the Earth). Inexcusably, those who developed nuclear technology invented no way to safely store all that waste for the amount of time it will pose a lethal danger to all life, and no such storage technology is even on the horizon. Many nuclear waste storage facilities have been found to leak radioactive compounds into the environment.“

How to kill a troll from trollhunters:
I got this idea from the one episode where Stricklander and Jim fight off angor rot and try to kill him with UV lights which I understand why.
In a simple explanation uv lights are a type of wave that is emitted by the sun so its capable of killing trolls just like any other electromagnetic wave(mind you lots of other things produce electromagnetic waves however the sun is the main one) so here's how to 'kill' a troll:
1. Gamma waves: They are produced by the hottest and most energetic objects in the universe, such as neutron stars and pulsars, supernova explosions, and regions around black holes. On Earth, gamma waves are generated by nuclear explosions, lightning (as we know lightening can kill trolls), and the less dramatic activity of radioactive decay.
2. Infrared radiation/light: When an object is not quite hot enough to radiate visible light, it will emit most of its energy in the infrared. For example, hot charcoal may not give off light but it does emit infrared radiation which we feel as heat. The warmer the object, the more infrared radiation it emits. (This is less likely to work due to the episode where they enter gatos keep)
Obviously there are other ways to kill a troll like with weapons and stuff but I think that these are the most scientific and unlikely ones to use, I'm disappointed they weren't included in the original series.
Creeper sun poison: a poison most commonly used by the janus order and Angor Rot, I'm trying to find out the reason why the creeper sun poison caused rapid petrification.
One process of petrification is:
permineralization:think of permineralization like making a fossil copy. When something (like a plant or bone) gets buried underground, water with tiny minerals flows through it. These minerals act like a mold, filling the empty spaces in the buried thing. Over time, these minerals harden and form a rock-like replica of the original object, preserving it as a fossil. From this we can assume that most trolls have a slightly Hollow internal structure that solidifies once a limb is removed or they are killed. (Backed up when draal looses his arm and troll deaths) I have no actual evidence to support this but it would make somewhat sense considering the rapid petrification.
Another possible factor is Silicification: silicification is like turning something into stone using silica. When things like wood or plants are buried, liquid containing silica seeps in. This silica slowly replaces the original material, preserving its shape but turning it into a hard, stony copy. It's like making a rock version of something that was once alive. Meaning a possible component that makes up creeper sun poison could be silica.
However I noticed a common theme between Silicification and permineralization when researching online I found that permineralization is a process that occurs when groundwater containing dissolved minerals (most commonly quartz, calcite, apatite
calcium phosphate, siderite iron carbonate, and pyrite) and that Silicification is a process where organic materials, such as wood or plants, are replaced or coated by silica (a compound found in quartz). Which could mean a compound in creeper sun poison might be quartz.
Pyritization: Pyritization is like turning something into pyrite (pyrite is also a common theme between permineralization and Pyritization) When creatures like shells or bones are buried in muddy areas with iron and sulfur, tiny organisms break them down and release sulfur. This sulfur mixes with iron in the mud, creating fool's gold, or pyrite. This pyrite replaces the original stuff, making a shiny, golden fossil that looks like the original thing. However this is less likely due to the outcome of a golden fossil.
It is likely that 3 main components that make up creeper sun poison are pyrite, quartz and silica its also possible they are more acidic compounds that would break up the minerals that make up a troll.

In response to the war in Ukraine, the United States, Britain, and the European Union — with the support of several dozen countries — imposed economic sanctions on an unprecedented scale to isolate Russia and freeze its economy. The “economic weapon” has been part of the toolkit of the most powerful capitalist states for more than 100 years, but since the end of World War II no sanctions have reached the level of those imposed on Russia.
The sanctions include severing Russia’s main financial institutions from the Swift international payment system and seizing half the country’s reserves, accessible to the United States because they were held as assets denominated in U.S. dollars. The West has also blockaded Russian exports — a sanction applied selectively by those countries most dependent on Russian oil and natural gas, but imposed quite strongly nonetheless — as well as pressure on multinationals to liquidate their assets inside Russia and to cancel any business they do with firms in the country. Combined, these measures mark a tremendous leap compared to the sanctions that imperialism has imposed on smaller countries — and against Russia itself — since 2014. While Iran, for instance, was excluded from the Swift system, these sanctions are at a much greater scale, given the far greater size of Russia’s economy (the world’s ninth largest) and the weight of its commercial ties with Europe when it comes to energy. [...]
Not only is Russia a major exporter of natural gas and oil, to Europe in particular, but it is also, together with Ukraine, a major supplier of wheat and other grains. The war has raised the prices of grains and sunflower oil, of which Ukraine is the world’s main exporter, and it remains to be seen whether there will be any production this year or whether any output could make it to the ports from which it is shipped to the rest of the world. By targeting Russia, the other major supplier of wheat, barley, and other grains, the sanctions have increased the overall disruption of grain markets, exacerbating the upward push of grain prices caused by the war itself. They have also added to the upheaval in oil and gas prices, multiplying the economic spillovers.
It is difficult to assign degrees of responsibility to the sanctions and to the war alone; they are mutually reinforcing. Nevertheless, the combined effects can be seen in the acceleration of price increases since the beginning of the hostilities. [...] In other words, last month’s price increases in the United States (as well as in most of the world) were most significant with respect to those items affected by the war (fuel prices rose 18.3 percent in March compared to February, and no less than 48 percent year-over-year; the general price increase of food amounted to 10 percent in one year).
[...] Another instance of the sanctions’ collateral damage is the international effort to combat climate change (already limited and subject to capitalist imperatives). Scarcity and energy price increases have led to an all-out scramble for every available energy source to deal with the shortage, including coal, the reduction of which is critical to mitigate carbon dioxide emissions. But far from being reduced, coal use is reaching historic highs as a source for generating electricity. The war has breathed new life into the fossil fuels industry, which put on hold any talk of how urgent it is to transition to increased energy from renewable sources with less negative environmental impact. Even the debate on turning more to nuclear energy has been revived, both in Japan and Germany, although there remains little chance of it happening (notably, Russia is the main supplier of uranium to Germany).

I have an idea for a ninjago land of the lustrous au. It would just be a slice of life/action type. I already have written down what kind of gems the ninja would be and their roles along with other stuff
The Gang:
Kai - Sphalerite with Flint & Steel Alloy, hardness of 4. His flint & steel arms can spark and flame up when rubbed together. He is in charge of forging weapons for the purpose of dispersing lunarians (the bad guys of land of the lustrous)
Jay - Pyrite with Blue Tourmaline, hardness of 6 to 7.5. The pyrite part of him conducts electricity and the tourmaline part is an insulator so that he doesn't damage himself from his own electric charge. He is in charge in tailoring and patroling around the island with Cole
Zane - Antarcticite, hardness of 3. They are mostly liquid but crystallizes as the temperature gets colder, so they are only active during winter while everyone hibernates. They are in charge of taking care of the monastery, fighting off lunarians, and breaking the glaciers that make loud noises when collided
Cole - Brown Agate with Jade, hardness of 7. The jade part of him provides more durability, allowing him to fight without needing weapons. He is in charge of woodworking and patroling the island with Jay
Lloyd - Peridot with Alexandrite, hardness of 7. He has alexandrite eyes that change from green to red depending on his emotions. He is in charge of papermaking and strategy, assigning the gems to certain areas for patroling
Nya - Shell Blue Agate, hardness of 8. Unlike Cole she is born from crystallized shell fossils under the sea, allowing her more durability when submerged in water. She is in charge of weather forecast, sea patrol, and collecting materials
Other Details:
- They all live in a monastery located in a crescent shaped island
- There is a cliff at the beach of which they are all born from. Nya and Lloyd are an exception to this since Nya is born from the sea and Lloyd is born from a meteorite
- There are a total of 39 gems living on the island. Of course, only 6 of them are relevant to this au
- The lunarians would attack them and try to break and capture the gems to use them as accessories. So far, none of the captured gems have returned, with only bits and pieces not enough to restore them
- They and gain energy from the sun so there's no need for them to eat. Zane is an exception since they get their energy from cold temperature. Although Cole would "eat" the purple berries in the island because he likes the "sticky goodness" feeling in his mouth
- During winter, they would hibernate in a big room thats basically a giant slumber party. Zane takes on their winter duties while the rest sleep
- They would cover their bodies with powder to emulate "skin" or camouflage. The color ranges from white to different skin colors. Zane uses pure white, Jay and Lloyd use creamy white, Kai and Nya use tan, and Cole uses brown. Kai does not apply powder to his hands because they burn when he uses fire. Nya has to apply an extra substance so her powder doesnt wash off
- Gems can break apart, and as long as their body is mostly intact they wont lose consciousness. This makes them inherently immortal as long as they are glued back together after being broken. If certain parts cannot be retrieved, those parts will be replaced with materials of similar gem structure, (Ex: Sapphire as a substitute for Ruby) although there are special cases
- Outside of their assigned duties, Nya and Lloyd would help at the infirmary tending to gems damaged during battle. Kai occasionally helps when he's not busy
- If you hit Cole in the jade parts of his body with a hammer, he will ring like a bell. Jay recommends you hit his left shoulder
- Jay had been called "fool's gold" multiple times by the gems, mostly from Cole
- Jay was originally pure pyrite, but lost his head and part of his hip during an attack. At the time there weren't any materials similar to pyrite, so they used blue tourmaline as a replacement head. Suprisingly, the blue tourmaline helped control his electric charge better
- Lloyd's eyes were originally peridot. When he lost both eyes during an attack, the doctor put alexandrite eyes by accident bc it had a similar green shade. His eyes would change from green to red depending on his emotions, mostly anger
- Kai once stayed awake during winter to accompany Zane with their duties. Kai fell into the icy waters, resulting in him losing his arms. Unable to be retrieved, the two go to the beach to find materials for new arms; flint and steel alloy
- Cole is one of the very few gems that are born a natural mix of different gems (Brown Agate and Jade). The brown agate part of him has patterned markings of different colors
- Zane wakes up the gems a few days before the end of winter so they can talk with them before they melt back to liquid
- Nya likes the glowing jellyfish under the sea. She would transfer some of them to a pond near the monastery and take care of them. She has a journal dedicated to jellyfish

At the height of the war in Afghanistan, attacks on fuel and water convoys accounted for more than 30% of the victims. However, fuel demand is expected to only increase, as advanced weapon systems and operations require increasing levels of power.
Fuel truck train in Afghanistan in 2011.
"History has taught us that our logistics supply chains are one of the first things the enemy attacks. As opponents increasingly pose a threat, what we do to reduce our demand for fuel and logistics will be fundamental to avoid risks and win any potential war," said Roberto Guerrero, U.S. Air Force Deputy Undersecretary for operational energy.
Currently, USAF depends on commercial fuel to operate, both domestically and abroad. The Force must use a combination of trucks, aircraft and ships to ensure that fuel is delivered to meet the demand of combatants. However, many areas of operation cannot always easily reach the traditional access points of the supply chain, especially during the conflict.
Twelve's carbon transformation platform can allow deployed units to create fuel on demand, without the need for highly qualified fuel specialists on site. The U.S. Air Force sees the opportunity for technology to provide a supplementary source to petroleum-derived fuels to decrease demand in areas that are typically difficult to deliver fuel.
"With carbon transformation, we are disconnecting aviation from oil supply chains. The U.S. Air Force has been a strong partner in our work to promote new innovative sources of aviation fuel," said Nicholas Flanders, co-founder and CEO of Twelve.
Most synthetic fuels, which are created by a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen known as synthesis gas, are produced by burning biomass, coal or natural gas. Twelve's technology eliminates the need for fossil fuels, producing synthesis gas by recycling CO2 captured from the air and - using only water and renewable energy as inputs - transforming CO2.
The process of converting synthesis gas into liquid hydrocarbon fuels is not new. Known as Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, the multistep method was created in the 1920s by German scientists and assisted the German war effort during World War II.

-cracks knuckle- Okay. Before I get into this, please read the tags.
That being said.
Tobias Buckell, I have a huge fossilized bone to pick with you.
In the book Envoy, it's mentioned that a HAVOK thermonuclear device has been repurposed by colonists to power their settlement, and is then repurposed again to power an EMP. I haven't read the book, and the synopsis on the Wiki was sparse, so apologies if I got the details wrong; it won't affect what I'm gonna say.
Things to know: Fission is the splitting of atoms by a neutron. Fusion is when atoms combine. Both release a lot of energy, but fusion is by and far away the more powerful of the two.
Firstly, nuclear weapons emit an emp without being repurposed. It's just what they do.
Secondly, while the fuel of a nuclear device can be used to power a reactor, you CANNOT just crack open a nuke, however carefully, and plonk the uranium or plutonium (or both, depending on the device) into a reactor. It is SO much more complicated than that.
Firstly: Reactor fuel, while enriched, is nowhere NEAR as enriched as weapon fuel. Also, enrichment refers to the concentration if a specific isotope of U or Pu, not how elementally pure it is. ²³⁵U and ²³⁹Pu are the isotopes found in weapons grade fuel, with the uranium being 93% ²³⁵U. Reactor grade fuels are composed mostly of ²³⁸U (about 80%, with approx. 20% being ²³⁵U) and Pu of a variety of mixed isotopes.
And like...I don't think most people know just how ungodly goddamn terrifyingly dangerous weapons-grade fuel is. These metals are ACTIVELY TRYING TO KILL YOU by this point. Plutonium can fucking spontaneously fission or, yknow, just. Catch fire. For no reason. Once a mass of Pu or U gets to a certain point, neutrons can't escape and the fission becomes self sustaining. This is the tipping point, or Critical Mass.
Even the SHAPE of the fuel matters A LOT. Yes, there are Bad Shapes when dealing with weapons-grade fuel, ESPECIALLY Pu. Bar? Billet? Ring? Yes, good. You can have a critical mass in these shapes and not kill yourself. Sphere? Better be a fucking small one. And even then, if you so much as drop something on a softball-sized sphere of Pu, you will die. 3 scientists found this out the hard way while conducting experiments on the infamous Demon Core.
Shit, even Pu IN SOLUTION can and HAS killed simply because some poor sod turned on a mixing kettle, and the vortex created pushed enough Pu solution close enough together that Cecil Kelly died a very, very bad death after only thirty-four hours. By contrast, the victims of the Demon Core lasted days and weeks, and people present at Chernobyl lasted weeks, even YEARS after exposure. These events are called criticalities, or, in a reactor, a power excursion.
On to mechanisms. Weapons first.
A thermonuclear device actually uses two phases, both fission, to set off the fusion reaction.
The implosion type fission explosive puts pressure on another fission device that contains the fusion fuel. Boom. Micro-star.
For reactors, the fuel is compressed into pellets, and then loaded into tubes called fuel rods. These rods are then loaded into a reactor core, where they generate heat that boils water and the steam turns turbines.
As Chernobyl (and SL-1) show, a reactor is capable of a devastating explosion. However, by weapon standards, the explosion is considered a 'fizzle'. This is because of the low enrichment of the fuel pellets compared to weapon fuel. Also, the mechanism of explosion is different in a reactor, depending on the type (Light Water, Pressurized Water, and Liquid Metal reactors). PWR reactors, the most common type, the aformentioned explosions, while differing in some details (core size, condition of the core, and core status at the time of the excursion) were both caused by some, or multiple, jackasses removing control rods from the core. This meant that (and I'm summarizing in the case of the Chernobyl RBMK reactor) the fission became self-sustaining, which flash boiled water, which then caused a steam explosion. (Fun fact: the SL-1 reactor experienced an excursion that peaked at TEN MI L L I O N PERCENT above what the reactor was designed to produce. The wiki article is WILD.)
All down to operator error.
Now, LMFR reactors (Liquid Metal Fast Reactors) use molten metals as the coolant. They have higher power density, are very compact, and actually in use aboard nuclear subs and aircraft carriers. They use the same fuel as a BWR.
Next: Megatons To Megawatts and Breeder Reactors (I see you kinky bastards, you sit the fuck down.)
So, theoretically, yes, weapons fuel can be turned into reactor fuel. If you know what the fuck you're doing and have all the correct, highly specialized equipment. Weapons-grade fuel has to be downblended, or mixed with natural uranium to the 20/80 ratio of ²³⁵U/²³⁸U. And reactor fuel can be used in weapons. This is where breeder reactors come in (SIT. DOWN.) A breeder reactor makes more fuel than it consumes by reacting Uranium into reactor-grade Pu, which is a mixture of isotopes. This can be used in weapons, but the yield is. Paltry, with a high chance of a fizzle.
So. Unless these fucking colonists were a bunch of nuclear goddamn physicists and  nuclear engineers who just HAPPENED to have the parts for a LMFR just lying the fuck around, AND the equipment, materials and know-how to downblend AND THE  RE-FUCKING ENRICH the original weapon fuel (Both of which, by the way, can take FUCKING MONTHS) there is no way in all seven goddamn circles of H E L L that a HAVOK could be used to power a city.
Tobias Buckell, I am going to put so much pudding in your underwear.
So many legos on your floor.
I am going to haunt the living AND dead shit out of you.
...
The kinky bastards may now stand.

Flight Magics
Earth:
Earth is basic but still useful magic. Most Earth dragons will be able to easily manipulate medium to large sized parts of the ground, cause mini earthquakes, and will be able to “fossilize” biological matter, turning them into stone. What exactly Earth dragons can manipulate is very varied, but the extent to what they can move usually spreads to crystals, dirt, metals, and generally anything that makes up the walls of a cave.
Fire:
Fire dragons have a very limited range of magics compared to other flights. Most Fire dragons will be able to easily manipulate and create fire and magma. Generally most Fire dragons are essentially fire proof and can swim in lava for extended periods of time (A note that swimming in lava for said extended periods of time can become very uncomfortable and will eventually burn them)
Wind:
Most Wind dragons can manipulate the air itself, although “air” really just extends to most gases. While this can be seen as weak, Wind magic is extremely powerful due to the fact that it’s quite literally invisible, and can take dragons by surprise. Wind dragons can also manipulate the air inside of other creatures and themselves. This lets Wind dragons easily traverse through water without having to worry about well... drowning.
Water:
Water magic is a strange spectacle. Most water dragons can manipulate and “create” water, and are able to breathe it, although “water” spreads to many liquids. Water magic is also useful for combat while in the water itself, as it sorta works as wind magic on land, being able to throw things around with currents. Another strange, strange aspect of water magic is the gift of prophecy. It is very unclear on why water dragons have this gift, as its very understudied. (Create in quotation marks as they simply collect water vapor that is in the air)
Shadow:
Shadow magic is where things start to get less physical. Most Shadow dragons will be able to cast illusions, temporarily blind targets, and travel through well.. shadows. Although another strange aspect of Shadow magic is.. well... goop. Shadow Goop can let dragons melt away and appear somewhere else, can be hardened to be used in a physical attack, and can also be used as a temporary recharging station, letting dragons essentially... melt into the goop and rest their magic.
Ice:
Ice magic is yet another somewhat limiting power. Most Ice dragons will be able to manipulate and “create” Ice, and are able to withstand incredibly cold temperatures without problem. “Ice” is a strange magic, as it’s theoretically another form of water/other liquids. But Water dragons cannot manipulate ice and Ice dragons cannot manipulate water unless freezing it. Ice magic is a very tangible and physical magic, so unfortunately it does not have many extra perks. (“Create” as in the same way water dragons create Water/being able to freeze water to make ice)
Lightning:
Lightning magic is yet again somewhat limiting. Most Lightning dragons will be able to manipulate and create electricity in all of its forms, and can withstand an incredible amount of voltage. Lightning dragons are constantly producing a storage of electricity within themselves, leaving them essentially unable to run out of magic stores. Lightning magic can also be used to stun or paralyze a target if used carefully enough. (Otherwise it’d just kill said target)
Light:
Light magic is just as strange as Shadow magic. Most Light dragons will be able to cast illusions and temporarily blind targets. This by itself appears to be very limiting, but fortunately they have another trick up their sleeves. Light dragons are able to create psychical manifestations of light, and are essentially able to use them as psychical weapons during combat. Light dragons can also obviously cast light around themselves and others.
Nature:
Nature and Plague are... interesting. Most Nature dragons are be able to manipulate and grow any and every type of plant life. They can call on plants to do the work for them, whether it be grabbing something or fighting someone, whatever it may be. Unfortunately for Nature dragons they are not able to directly create plants... but what they can do is close enough. A Nature dragon can grow a plant from the tiniest bit of a leaf or a tiny piece of bark, and in combat, Nature dragons will usually throw these bits into the air and unleash them. Nature dragons are also generally very resistant to sickness, although it’s debated on whether or not it’s due to their magic.
Plague:
Plague magic is... interesting as previously stated. Most Plague dragons will be able to produce and spread nearly any sicknesses, infections, and diseases onto other beings. Although, Plague dragons usually only specialize in one type of disease “branch”. Fortunately for them, this is not the only thing they can do. Plague dragons can erm... pretty much turn the ground into... “flesh” and manipulate that as much as they want to, usually as giant vines or as “bone” fragments. Fighting a Plague dragon in hand to hand combat is very ill advised as any cuts you may get will practically be infected immediately. (Flesh as in whatever the ground is actually made of in The Plaguelands)
Arcane:
So Arcane magic is… well, Arcane. Most Arcane dragons will be able to create portals, teleport, defy the laws of physics, and many, many other things. Arcane magic is the closest to pure magic that a Flight can get to, and generally any generic magic spell you could imagine can be cast by an Arcane dragon. But of course, they are entirely unable to use “elemental” magics like fire or earth. Arcane dragons must do “spells” instead of the innate magic casting of other flights, which usually takes more magic stores. But another strange aspect of Arcane dragons is that they are able to manipulate certain crystals and gemstones, an example being the magic charged crystals that make up the Crystalspine Reaches. But Arcane dragons must either charge up these crystals with their own magic stores, or use already magically charged crystals.
Shade:
Shade magic is… quite literally not magic. It is the antithesis of magic and not much is known about it. Dragons cannot directly reach high levels of shade “magic” as a dragon would die from magic loss if they did. But they can certainly get close. Shade touched dragons can manipulate shade to an extent, as technically they themselves are being manipulated by the shade. Shade “magic” is generally just well…. the shade. It can be used to teleport, attack, siphon magic, etc.  Shade touched dragons will forever keep some extent of their original flight magic, so they’ll oftentimes use their flight magic and shade touch together in combat.
While of course many other kinds of magic exists in Sornieth, these 12 are some of the most predominant.

Darkwing Duck: Just Us Justice Ducks
Tumblr media
This is it. 7 reviews, 10 episodes, 2 teams,  7 brave heroes, 13 villians but only 5 of which are relevant here. All leading to this. One big final review of one of the most loved, most important and most awesome Darkwing Duck episodes, the ONLY two parter outside of the pilot in the show’s long history. If your just joining us, as hinted at in the opening sentence i’ve been doing reviews of every episode of darkwing duck featuring the first apperances of the Justice Ducks and Fearsome Five. The only exception was Megavolt, but I ended up doing Negaduck instead, so I could cover both Megs and the original version of Negsy in one fell swoop (A great idea and comission from longtime supporter of the blog WeirdKev27). All so I could give this the build up  it deserved and get the background I didn’t have years ago when I wanted to watch this, wanted to see all of the first apperances first.. then just didn’t get around to it, not even finding out the episode order is an utter nightmare.  While i’ve given out about this before, allow me to do so again: Due to prioritzing what got done first over proper order, ALL of the justice ducks first appearances eps were aired after this and while Morgana at least got an episode before this, it was her second appearance. Same with LIquidator and Quackerjack though like Morgana, Quackerjack still got an episode or two before this one. So yeah as a result to most kids it was a bunch of heroes just introduced, up against two new villians and 3 old faviorites. You kinda see the problem. It’s why I watched it in chronlogical order: to have this be a gathering of established heroes against darking’s worst foes... and the debut of the worst of THE worst, the true Negaduck at long last. So with the proper build this deserves and not much else to say, let’s look at this two parter and see if all my effort was worth it and if the hype is real. Let’s, get, dangerous under the cut
We open in St. Canard in Darkwing Duck’s secret HQ over the bridge, where he’s getting ready to go out with Morgana and does... things to his hair.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Excellently terrible hair do.. seriously I love a good pompadour as much as the next person, probably unheathily more than the next person, but this isa bit much and adding a curl to it is just..
Tumblr media
I mean Superman’s hair looked better at this point, and for those wondering “Wait superman usually has a pretty good look”.. welll.
Tumblr media
Yeah.. post-ressurection.. he had a mullet. Look there are only 4 people in the world who can pull of a mullet: Brock Sampson, Patrick Swayze (God Rest his soul), Hank Venture and Daniel Cooksy as a teenager. And he ALSO put a curl in it and it still looked okay because that’s one of this things along with being selfless, and idiots calling him bland for you know, being a kind hearted symbol of humanity at it’s best. But man the mullet was just not for you bud.
Morgana naturally tries to change it while Gosalyn watches and...
Tumblr media
Yeah as you can probably guess a LOT has happened.. and all off screen. Morgana is not only fully on the side of good apparently, but she and Darkwing have gone from simply flirting with one another to dating AND Gosalyn has met her and they fought the astro mummies together.. no wait that was the Caballleros yesterday.. but still eveyrthing else is PRETTY important stuff and even with the messed up episode order the kind of thing you’d ASSUME an episode would be made about. I mean this is her meeting darkwing’s kid for fuck’s sake. That’s a big step in any relationship let alone one just starting out. And trust me, I didn’t miss anything: every other morgana ep seems to have them already in a steady relaionship. I DO think it’s stuff like this why some fans aren’t crazy about this relationship. Me I think he’s honestly too good for her.
But before they can go out for whatever vauge date they were going to have the power goes out and DW notices it’s megavolt and prepares to go after him only for Morgana to question him about their date.
Tumblr media
Morgana.. sweetie.. the entire city is blacked out. Nowhere will be open.  But Gosalyn offers an alternative, Morgana go along with him and while both are reluctant they go with it. So Darkwing confronts Megavolt... and soon finds a bunch of chattering teeth. Yup, it’s Quackerjack as the two have teamed up, and together easily defeat Darkwing, putting him in an electric chair. The two also really get along which makes sense: Both have similar personalities, being kinda nuts indivdiuals with a singular obession , which compliment each other as toys often need electric power after all. THey strap darkwing into an electric chair, that got dark fast and he begs morgana to save him.. only for her to accidently turn him into jello. I mean.. they say pudding but.. their diffrent things. Just because world famous sexual predator Bill Cosby promoted BOTH for the jell-o brand doesn’t mean Jello is magically pudding. If he could magically make one thing
Point is Darkwing is jello, the villians mock him then set up some kind of device and head off.. while also mentioning a mysterious boss. I wonder who it could be.
Tumblr media
Nah.. too obvious. Darkwing is humilated and of course blames. morgana.. for saving his life.. as while the jello humilated him he’s also you know not dead.
Tumblr media
Anyways Darkwing storms off while Morgana worries he likes her. Morg.. the guy got pissy because you saved his life the wrong way with some bad aim. And before that clearly just wanted you there as a trophy to impress you instead of because he valued you in any way but your looks, because let’s face it he’s shown no intrest so far in any way that isn’t superficial and neither have you in him. You both need to actually try to deepen this or end it.  Anyways enough me ranting at 90′s cartoon characters, it’s time for our next Justice Duck to enter the episode as Stegmutt is selling hot dogs now, but no one stops because they just.. run in terror. Poor guy, good thing he’s too oblivoius to notice. Maybe Dr. Fossil had a point.  Back to the plot and it turns out the next phase in the Fearsome Five’s plan is to take out the police... okay so wait are they the bad guys or not? Questions for later. Point is we get a nice mismatch as Bushroot’s timidity contrasts perfectly with Liquidator’s showman ship and he drowns them out. Darkwing prepares to attack, but gets interrupted by Stegmutt, refuses his help.. and we get the best and most iconic gag of the episodes: Darkwing makes a joke about playing pretend.. and senseing Stegmutt is a dummy have him pretend to “put out the darkwing”.. which equates to pulling a Droopy while saying “put out the darkwing”. So the two villians finsih their job and high five and this is one of the most charming parts of this 2 parter: the camradere between the five minus negaduck. The other four just.. easily bond and enjoy each ohters company, only fighting ONCE, and then being on the same page after that.
It’s also what makes them so deadly: the go too for ANY superhero team in any medium is to simply get the vilians to fight each other as most vilian teams are built on REALLY shaky ground, a mixture of egos and ambitions that unlike with most superhero teams, can’t really be overcome with the greater good.. because their only in it for what they want. The thing that keeps any of these groups together longterm.. is camradere. I’ts why the Flash’s Rogue’s gallery is easily one of the most dangerous; while there are outliers like the reverse flash, most of them are part of the rouges, and ascribe to their rules and morals.. and thus the camradre and support that comes with it. One guy with a cold gun or a super flamethrower or a weather wand or mirror powers.. is pretty damn tough. All four and more together, willing to bail one another out, having their own tailor and weapons hookups. The four remind me of that: a bunch of guys who have the common goal of beating darkwing but likely just.. hang out when not trying to do crimes. Well except negaduck, hence the four thing. By not being able to just easily turn them on one another, it means you HAVE to take them all at once. Even if you got rid of negaduck as both the comics and the 2017 reboot have shown.. you still have 4 immensley powerful, quackerjack included, supervillians who easily can work together instead of a bunch of angry assholes who tend to work better one at a time and just with a united goal. Point is Darkwing Duck is Darkwing Fucked.  Darkwing once again refuses help and yells at Stegmutt, because he’s been evne douchier than usual, and then makes the mistake of yelling at Neptunia, who promptly has her octopus friend throw him into the distance because .. well he deserves it. So while Darkwing patches up that wound to his pride and his spleen, we finally meet our vilians new boss: NEGADUCK. And... they do not explain why a guy who looks exactly like drake is here, if he has any relation to the other negaduck he was inspired by, or why any of them would trust him. This would bother me more.. if A) it wasn’t too much of a stretch for darkwing to have foes we hadn’t seen given the whole casefiles thing and B).. well okay this isn’t really a logical opinon but since when have that stopped me.
Tumblr media
There’s a damn good reason that Negsy has one of the biggest episode counts of Darkwings villians. The guy is just.. the perfect foil to Darkwing, the Joker to his batman, the reverse flash to his flash, the green goblin to his spider-man, the sabertooth to his wolverine. He’s Drake’s equal and opposite number. While Drake can’t take two steps as Darkwing without wanting some attention, Negsy is happy to avoid having any until the moment strikes. While Drake wants attention as much as he wants to do the right thing, Negsy just simply loves doing what he’s doing. To quote the Spies are Forever song “Somebody’s Gotta Do it” “Can’t you see.. how much I enjoy this, i’d never avoid this, cause buddy i’m a diffrent breed. This is my calling, and though it’s appaling, I love making people bleed.”
He just LOVES being evil. He’s as comically devoted to being a bad guy as Darkwing is to being a good one. He loves the idea of being able to shoot a bunny, he revels in his villiany and he loves every second. But as I said unlike darkwing he dosen’t let his flaws get in the way of his villiany as much. He still does on occasion, he’s still a version of Darkwing after all, but he has his eyes far more on the prize and is far less prone to distraction. He dosen’t care about toy deals or infamy.. he just wants to watch the world burn and laugh manically over the flames. While his obessions CAN be used against him.. as this episode shows it only lasts for a bout a second and he’s usually ready for it. He’s a Drake with no morals, no connections and few drawbacks. And he’s also every bit as clever, with him winning for most of the two parter. And not because the plot needs him too.. he’s simply THAT good at planning, with his plan here being geninely clever. I’m REALLLY hoping for Frank to lead the reboot because combining ALL of this with his reboot backstory will be divine if he gets to. Negaduck was very much worth the hype.
So his next plan, itself clever.. is to dress up as Darkwing and inflitrate SHUSH, taking out the next possibly thing that could stop them. And he does so easily, even while Darkwing is there and to show off just how friggin awesome he is predicts what Drake will say. The only thing that trips him up is drake hilarious pointing out a cute bunny, because he and the other Negsy apparently share the same burning hatred, causing him to get out his shotgun. And can I just say how wonderful it is he can use a shotgun?  That’d never pass nowadays, which isn’t the worst thing but i do question why VILLIANS can’t be shown being reckless with fire arms. Their the bad guys, kids aren’t going to see it as a good thing. And they still equate laser guns with guns. They aren’t going to trivilaize gun violence because of Darkwing Duck or Looney Tunes.
Even being found out Negaduck still acomplishes his goal and floods thing. So now both the cops and shush are down, and things aren’t looking great. Darkwings still determined he can do this himself and beat them.. but it’s transparent that not only he CAN’T and won’t admit he’s outnumbered but freely admits he just wants the biggest win of his career by taking them all out 4 to 1. Probablem is.. he’s not spider-man and this isn’t the sinister six. As I said he’s not fighting a villian group whose egos clash so badly , at least whent hey first formed, they have to take turns or in later iterations have some member blackmailed in> Their working in concert. He needs help but as we’ve seen multiple times now Darkwing just can’t accept it. He has to be in the limelight and while he does have to relearn the lesson .. it works better here as personality flaws aren’t the kind of thing that fixes itself overnight. Sometimes never. It feels less like it does sometimes in cartoons, where the character just.. never fucking learns, and more like Darkwing has learned it.. he’s just so very human and thus can’t resist sliding black. Less peter griffin more bojack horseman is what i’m saying. I mean there are still bits of just poor writing, but for the most part his ego is like most of his enimies: he just can’t get it to stay beat.
So it won’t suprise you that when the national guard and gizmoduck are called he’s not happy. You may recall when I reviewed “Tiff of the Titans” I REALLY hated this verison of Gizmoduck. He was concited as Darkwing but treated like he wasn’t, treating the daring duck of mystery like a criminal for stupid reasons and was generally pretty useless and obnoxious. The fact that hamilton camps gizmoduck voice sounds not like a 20-30 something like Fenton is but like Grandpa Simpson mixed with a dash of dudley doo right dosen’t help.
Tumblr media
It’s not lost on me that Dan Castellaneta’s character is NOT the one that sounds like Abe Simpson either. But while that problem is still around... the rest of them.. aren’t. Gizmoduck’s character development actually stuck from last time, so rather than be a dick to darkwing he’s warm, friendly and happy to accept his help when Darkwing shows up, thinking his old “Buddy” is just volunteering to help instead of screaming at him for doing his job. Not only that but while he still has elements of a standard superman type “Cape” hero parody... their more toned down and actually funny with him giving giant speeches, and that being useda gainst him and being over the top.. but still being the noble, big hearted hero you’d expect from the roll, just wanting to do good not for the Glory he gets anyway, but because people need him. In short.. he’s 100% better thsi go round. Well okay 80.. he still sounds like this.
youtube
Gos also brings Morgana along, because apparently she forgot the entire episode where her father was so obssed with being noticed he tried to upstage his 10-12 year old daughter... and you know the hundred other times Drake put his ego over his job.
Tumblr media
So he naturally wants to shoo her while Gizmo. .warmly welcomes the help because he recognizes that people are counting on them not counting on him.  Just then the villians make their move and activate the electro slave device from earlier which.. does nothing like that’d sound like and just creates a giant electrical wall, cutting off ST. Canard and bringing the plan full circle: The villains have now cut off the town and taken out almost anything that could oppose them. And despite you know everything Darking only gets more pissy when Stegmutt and Neptunia show up., Stegmutt because he still wants to return Darkwing’s change as Darkwing bought a hot dog from him and Stegmutt’s also a really sweet guy and Neptuina because well... .the ocean’s her thing and a bunch of bad guys just put a giant line through it she’s now on the other side of. Gizmo suggests the obvious: It’s a day unlike any other when a threat no one duck, or fish or dino duck, can face alone. It’s time to assemble! And Gos is more than excited about the idea, suggesting the name Justice Ducks which.. is honestly fairly weak in my opinon. Not BAD but very clearly just “Justice League” with Ducks in it. Given how good the series is at names, you think they’d of taken more than five minutes on this one. Maybe it was disney mandate I dunno.  But the concept itself.. is brilliant and I wish it came back in other epiosdes; Taking a bunch of other heroic characters in a setting and making them into a team is always a great idea, it’s why the tmnt unvierses have been using the mutanimals more and more lately, and they do ballance each other out nicely. You have a nice contrast of powers: while multiple have super strength, stegmutt is your bruiser, Gizmo is the tech guy, darkwing’s the strategy, morgana handles magic and Neptuina can swim in anything and is super strong and agile outside and inside water, so as long as she can keep hydrated, she’s useful> Which by the way has ALWAYS been the case for aquaman.. except the superfriends version.
Tumblr media
He really does suck and ruined it for the rest of them till Jason Mamoa and his mighty abs, coupled with Geoff Johns run on the charcter that served as the foundation for that movie, finally rescued the character from a fucking decades old cartoon’s smear campagin.  They have the makings of a great team.. it’s just Darkwing dosen’t want a team and screams at everyone to get out and that he dosen’t need them.. I mean he does try to be softer on Morgana but.. he’s still a dick and she really should dump him. Seriously, their attraction is superficial, at this point at least we’ll see in Feburary if it gets any bettter, he dosen’t respect her as a person, and now he’s having to restrain himself at yelling at her.. for HELPING HIM. When he clearly needs it. Holy shit... I was not prepared for that amount of douche. And this would sink the two parter.. were this not clever setup for one hell of a downfall and not a key part of his character. Like has been said: Ego is a massive part of him, and as Tad Stones has put it his real arch enemy. It’s been the basis for several episodes and as we saw in the pilot was his motivation for getting into crimefighting in the first place. He means well and clearly has a heart.. but this is just as much about thwarting evil as it is the attention. And here it’s used perfectly as in the reverse of the gizmoduck episode, where he wanted attention but for fully understandable reasons and judged Gizmo more on stealing his thunder, which while petty i’ll admit is a bit fair given Gizmo did NOTHING in St. Canard but got the key of the city while Darwing had saved it multiple times at this point.
Here he’s being petty and selfish.. and he has no good reason. It’s just his own ego wanting the credit for everything when it’s not what he or the city needs. Honestly this feels like an ahead of it’s time parody of how Batman would be written when written poorly sometimes in the years after this episode:  a massive dick who thinks he knows better than everybody else and everything else should be entrusted to him because he’s the goddamn batman, the kind who throws people out as potential parts of his family for petty shit and acts like a controlling ass and okay maybe this is spiralling a bit. But the refusal to see any other way is right? Yeah that defintelyf its darkwing like a glove and eveyrone leaves either bummed or pissed at him. And the most pissed? Launchpad who while agreeing to it, his face and tone clearly mean he’s disapointed in his buddy for acting like this when now is REALLY not the time.
And I wish.. we got more on this because Launchpad disappears till the ending scene after this. No really. Despite being Darkwing’s best friend and sidekick and despite warranting a spot on the justice ducks and despite having every reason to pitch in. he just vanishes. I mean Ducktales may of gone overboard in not having him around since Let’s Get Dangerous, but at least that’s a valid reason: he has another family, he’s really busy and Scrooge has another talented pilot to do the job for him. Granted he’s clearly still doing it offscreen at times but he was both a major part of an hourlong and will be part of any possible spinoff. And hell even back in season 1 when the character ballance was at it’s worst... Donald and Beakly at least HAD reasons for not being in a whole lot of episodes: Donald HATED his uncle, HATED adventure, and HATED the fact his kids were following in their mothers footsteps as he only saw death at the end of it. While they SHOULD have found ways to include him more and his exclusion was pretty bad... he at least had a reason. Here launchpad just has to go now his home planet needs him. And he’s not the only one Gosalyn gets more, she’s worried about darkwing, we’ll get to why in a second and wants to go but Gizmoduck refuses.. and then ALSO vanishes. Which makes even less sense as when has Gosalyn EVER listned to an authority figure? Especially when her dad might be dead? It’s just grossly out of character for her to agree to sit things out and not just tag along with steggmutt anyway once gizmo can’t stop her. I do get this is about the justice ducks but there’s no reason to neglect the other main characters. At least have Negsy capture them too or something. Cripes.
So yeah the “thinking he’s dead part”. Darkwing sets out to find the five’s lair and misses the big honking flag Negaduck set up, but finds a crumb, puts two and two together and finds them.. as Negaduck planned. Down to the crumb thing as, in my faviorite line of the episode, he planned on Darkwing missing the flag and focusing on the flimisiit clue instead. Naturally they kick his ass, EASILY, and throw him out a window to his death and in classic bond villian fashion don’t check for proof of death. Krakoa would be ashamed. So part one ends with darkwing duck getting thrown to his possible death...
Only for part 2 to pick up with him landing in a trash truck before exiting. And this.. is what makes the ego parts tolerable.. Darkwing.. earnestly reflects, depressed he let his own ego get in the way of things and shoo off his only hope, and thus let the villians take over the city, with Bushroot’s plants harassing people, quackerjacks teeth running the police, and Megavolt having taken the power company and using it to shake down locals and Liquidator flooding part of the city for a plan we’ll get to in a moment. He’s at his lowest point and tht’s while it work: his hubris DOSEN’T get unpunished, he’s fully sorry for it and while he dosen’t out and out apologize to them, he’s not only genuinely contrite but does work well with them and evenly when he finally does get back to them.. but we’ve got a bit to go before that.  So with Darkwing missing Gizmo takes over as big good and not bein ga prick eagerly takes the others help Neptuina nopes out of helping, which fits her personality, so with only three left because he dosen’t consider children useful  which shame on you. I mean i’ts responsible from a real world standpoint but not from a cartoon show standpoint. But anyways they split up gang: Gizmo will go take the power plant back, Morgana will try and use her spells to find the lair and Stegmutt will find darkwing. I do like despite how they neglect Gosalyn that her friendship with Stegmutt was remembered and used as a plot point here.
So we then get to a rather repttitive part of the two parter. It’s not lacking in good gags or character moments but it’s basically the same scene repeated 4 times just with a diffrent scenario and gag for each of the justice ducks and the fearsome five member they encounter. They do their respective schicks the hero is defeated.. this is 5 or so minutes of a 20+ minute episode. Not TERRIBLE stuff, iv’e seen worse repttition, but not terribly intresting compared to the rest of the four parter.  So, Neptuina encounters Liquidator, whose scheme is selling rafts to people to not drown in exhange for a millioin dollars.. or whatever they have he’s not picky, and they fight but Liqui ultimately wins, Gizmoduck, in the best of the four sequences, swoops in to stop Megavolt and not only lands on his foot.. but spends so long speechifiing Mega gets him from behind, phrasing. Stegmutt hilariously tries disgusing himself with Groucho glasses and is bested by Quackerjack, and Morgana finds the lair but gets taken out by bushroot, though her pet spider archie escapes to go warn the others.
So after all that Archie makes it back to darkwing’s hq.. only for launchpad to squish him. “ew a bug!”.. just a great quick laugh. Thankfuly he’s more resilent than the average spider and is fine once Gosalyn scrapes him off and they now know the five are in trouble. Also I was wrong Launchpad does return.. for this one scene. And neither get into action once Darkwing returns and after an overly long bit of him deflecting blame to the point I was screaming.
Tumblr media
That being said it is nice when once Darkwing is aware of the situation he gloats a little.. but still goes to save them without any hint of caring about doing it all himself. He learned his lesson.  So at the Lair of the five, Negsy shows what a sadsitc bastard he is, another great side of him.. from a writing standpoint at least. It shows that like darkwing despite a comedic exterior.. he’s VERY dangerous. And he’s set up speciic tourtures for each of the five he has: He’s hooked up Gizmoducks armor to a device that lets him control it’s power flow, so right now it’s entirely drained.. but he can overload it and electrocute him to death when he flips THE SWITCH. Neptuina is stuck under a heat lamp and will fry when he hits THE SWITCH. Stegmutt is stuck in a weightless enviorment that will also loose air when he hits THE SWITCH and morgana is in a chair that will crush her tod eath when he hits.. THE SWITCH... he really loves THE SWITCH and props to him. A lesser villian would’ve had all the traps have a diffrent trigger which while making it harder on any rescuers is just a time waster asking for the heroes he hasn’t gotten to yet to break free. And while it is based in his sadism he still fully intends to watch the deaths personally. Seriously he’s got all his bases covered.. and would’ve won.. if it wasn’t for the rest of the five.  The rest of the five are fighting over territoiry: Buddies they may be but they all want the pie. Negaduck, in his most badass scene shuts them up by pulling out his signture chainsaw for hte first time and scaring the crap out of htem, then using it to carve up the model of the city: They each get a quarter.. and he gets all the loot. Which they dont’ like but agree to to not die today. Though really... what’s the value of that? They have a full city held hostage, control over a quarter each, and no real way to SPEND the loot without letting someone else, say scrooge mcduck, in to stop them. Just give him the money and let him sit on it Smaug style. You get a quarter of a new york sized city to yourself to live out your dreams. I’d love that... maybe nto become a supervillian for that but still, point is you have carte blanche jsut take the W.  Darkwing meanwhile uses Nega’s scheme against him and plans to be delivering skulls, after flowers only piss nega off, and then knocks the guy out.. though his attempt at playing Nega fails as the Four have wisely decided that since they outnumber him and a four way split of the loot is better than none of it, to kill him. Nega.. is not pleased and just wants them to attack him, and they do, and it seems darkwing’s going to have a front row seat for THE SWITCH. But Darkwing recovers, and we get a great tug of war between him and negsy as the switch is turnd on and off on and off till Darkwing finally wins, and then frees Morgana and apologizes and has her free Gizmo, and so on and so on. So our team is reunited, Darkwing’s finally ready to lead and thus we get our battle cries “Justice Ducks, ASSEMBLE!” “Fearsome Five, GET OVER HERE!” And the two face off
Tumblr media
And the battle.. is fantastic. Easily the series best so far as everyone gets a moment to shine. Neptuina takes out both Liquidator and Megavolt, this time beating liquidator by creating a whirlpool inside him and turning him into a watery tornado and crashing him into megavolt before he can get stegmutt. Gizmoduck beats Quackerjack handily by using a drill on the teeth, great gag then giving Jacky some ansteic.. a boxing glove to the face. And Stegmutt takes on bushroot and when unsure of what to do.. we get a truly wonderous callback as Stegmutt.. honestly dosen’t know what to do.. so Darkwing gets some payback and tells him to “put out the bushroot, put out the bushroot” you can guess what happens next
Tumblr media
Or if you want the more recent versoin
Tumblr media
Point is three down two to go, and we get a call back to the pudding thing with Morgana trying to hit liquidator.. before Darkwing in a show of how much of a team player he is now, offers his help, simply having Morg teleport some instant pudding mix over the guy... I mean at least it’s brown this time even if i’ts still  in a jello mold. And to finish it off he and gizmo awesomely use a mixer on both sides. So our heroes have triumphed.. almost. Negs has the controls for the barrier and runs out planning to destroy st canard if they refuse.. then being Negaduck decides fuck it i’ll do it anyway... but Darkwing stops him and we get a slapstick beatdown as DW uses an anvil a pie and other classics and utterly curbstomps his nemissi in an wesome scne. The day is saved, the generator shut down and the city freed.  So we wrap up with the Justice Ducks celebrating.. with Gos and Launchpad. I have an inlking how that conversation went.
Tumblr media
Darkwing relcutnatnly is forced to eat his own words and admit he both enjoys the team and needed their help, before heading off on that Date with Morgana.. though Gizmoduck tries to make it a group thing. Dude no one likes a third wheel.. not even when i’ts ninja brian. So Darkwing uses the iris out to escape, but Stegmutt does try and give that quarter back first, with Darkwing, in a genuinely sweet moment, telling him to keep it and then going off, having earned his happy ending and grown as a person.  Final Thoughts: This episode was WORTH the build up I gave it. It turns out I really didnt’ need most of the intro epsidoes, as while it enhances the villians the heroes are all given decent enough introductions apart from morgana so tht even without the context of how darkwing knows these people it still works. It’s a thrilling, tightly paced for the most part, hilarious and wonderful two parter that ties a huge chunk of the show together into one hour long masterpice. I had my issues of course and i’ve stated them: Gosalyn and Launchpad doing nothing, the pacing towards the middle of part 2.. but otherwise.. it’s perfect. It’ has a great character arc for darkwing on top of everything, once again having his ego bite him in the ass but in a unique enough way it dosen’t feel like a retread of the pilot, and having him genuinely feel bad about it and grow. a bit smug when he learns he has to rescue them sure but he’s never smug to the heroes themselves. And ironically.. he gets his big moment. While he dosen’t beat the five himself he still infliatrated their hq, beat up their leader, saved his friends and then beat negaduck all by himself AGAIN. It may of not been the big moment he wanted.. but it’s the one he needed.  As for the road to the justice ducks itself.. it was a fun ride. Only one honestly two bad episodes; Tiff otf the Titans and Paint Misbehavin and even those had their moments, paticuarlly Misbehavin’s art sequences. The rest of the episodes ranged from alright to standout and overall it was a hell of a time.. so i’m going to rank all the ones i covered leading up to this review. Just Us Justice Ducks (Both Parts) Negaduck Beauty and the Beat Dry Hard Jurassic Jumble Ghoul of My Dreams Something Fishy Fungus Amongus Whiffle While You Work Paint Misbehavin Tiff of the Titans And i’m proud to say this is the first ongoing project on the blog, the first story arc or what have you, i’ve completed. While I DID do a four parter of catch as cash can, this is the first one i’ve done over several months that i’ve completed and i’m proud of it. Does this mean i’m done with Darkwing?
Tumblr media
Next week we’ll be wrapping up some more unfinished buisness with another Darkwing Double Feature, this time covering the short career of Quiverwing Quack and in Feburary, and the reason I spent so much time catching up, we’ll be seeing both Morgana and Negaduck again just in time for Valentine’s day. After that?
Tumblr media
We’ll just have to see won’t we? So until there’s another rainbow, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.

@synthetixviola asked: (Talk About meme) "Why don't you tell me about your Crusher Corps? You mentioned them once before," Lila mentioned, spotting Turles tinkering around her with her old radio - God, don't let him break that, she had that baby longer than she had Kandy - while prepping for dinner. She was admittedly curious of his "business" operation, and his subordinates, considering she seldom seen them before. She readied the stove, adding to her question. "I don't think I've seen them around, have I?"

“ Hm? The Crusher Corps.? ” He popped the face of the radio open, examining its inner workings. “ I suppose you haven’t really met them, have you? They do usually keep busy when I visit... ”
Turles mumbled to himself about a chip and if the ancient device could handle it before setting it aside. He leaned back in his chair, balancing on the two back legs. “ Amond is my second in command, essentially, and the first member of my team. A vicious and renowned mercenary, he had been imprisoned on a planet called Nutts. Luckily for him, it was one of the first planets I decided to conquer. The chaos I rained upon the planet allowed him to escape and he decided to join my ranks.
“ Cacao hails from a planet called Ikonda, a very interesting planet. His race are typically formless and resemble an array of liquids, the most common being magma like himself, a green sludge, or water. They can shift their form at will, but the energy required is often too taxing to hold for long without immense training. Thus, most of them exist as sentient, mobile puddles, changing form only as needed to perform daily tasks. From what I understand, they became caught up in an intergalactic war, and the beings which employed them used their technology to create armor for them that both aided them in maintaining a bipedal shape and doubled as a weapon. After this war, I found him working as a bounty hunter. Since he joined me, I have made improvements to the armor including making it more durable and with a better ability to shift with his form should he choose to. And I of course made the weapons more powerful and fit his fighting style better. ”
He paused to chuckle. “ Daiz...Daiz was an interesting find. As the prince of his people, he lead his elite army against our attack. He was the last one standing, and, impressed with his effort, skill, and battle strategy, I offered him a place on my team. I expected him to refuse since we had just toppled his birthright, but he joined. I learned later he found a life of royalty horribly boring and our attack was the most exciting thing to happen to him in his life. Thus, he was grateful for my offer. Not that he had much to stick around for, anyway.
“ And lastly, the twins: Rasin and Lakasei. In an experiment, I revived them from a fossil I found on planet Beenz using extract from the Tree of Might. They are highly intelligent and can merge together to create a single being. They also build the current model of ship I use and often help me with different experiments and upgrades. ”

Timeline of the 41st Millennium: 999.999.M41
The Siege of Fenris part 4
Meanwhile the Traitors began their advance upon the Fang, being met with fierce resistance in the valleys before the fortress known as the Wolf's Gullet. Grimnar and his forces launched an orbital strike into their rear, sowing havoc but being forced back due to sorcererous rituals which created lakes of lava around the Wolves. Grimnar had sought to trap the Wolves but it soon became apparent that Magnus had predicted this move and had trapped them instead. Grimnar managed to turn the tide by having his gunship freeze the lakes of lava with their Helfrost Cannons, giving the Wolves a bridge from which to escape. It was then that Grimnar and his forces were confronted by Ahriman and his Scarab Occult.
As the Champions of Fenris fought Ahriman’s undying legions, their battle-brothers converged upon the Wolf’s Gullet. Egil Iron Wolf had pushed every one of his war machines to the limit in order to reach it at this critical hour, attacking from the north after being redeployed by bulk lander. The Wolves were not alone, the Dark Angels and Grey Knights fought beside them as allies. However Magnus himself soon appeared on the plains of Asaheim, quickly defeating five Grey Knights Dreadknights and killing Grand Master Valdar Aurikon. Not even direct orbital bombardment and attacks by Njal Stormcaller and his Rune Priests could harm the Primarch. Magnus next reached into the heavens and tore the Imperial orbiting ships into Fenris' atmosphere. He detonated their reactors, bathing the plains of Asaheim in light and destruction.
Just at his moment of triumph, Egil Iron Wolf charged at Magnus with the Spear of Russ. The Wolf Lord was vaporized from the waist up, but Grimnar was able to catch the Spear and drive the Axe of Morkai into the Daemon Primarch. The weapon had in fact been forged by Khorne, and its energies were enough to harm the Crimson King. This in turn gave the Grey Knights Purifiers enough time to conduct a banishing ritual, sending Magnus back to the Warp. With him went the Thousand Sons and their Daemonic allies. Now all of the Traitors and Daemons had been pulled back into the Warp, and those remaining were quickly hunted down by the remaining Imperials.
In the aftermath of the war, Fenris was saved but devastated and few Imperial defenders were left. Frostheim had been reduced to a wasteland of bone, its icy mantle melted away to reveal a thick stratum of fossils. There were those who said that under the new moon some of these skeletons came alive, hunting for the blood of those mortals still eking their lives from the osseous wastes. Svellgard, the ocean moon, was evacuated over the course of a long and difficult month. As it passed close to the Wolf’s Eye, it was subjected to a barrage from solar storms induced by Midgardia’s demise. Solar flares lashed its surface, turning the once-tainted seas to steam. Though barren, it was subsequently resettled, its sandy islands turned to mountains of glass amidst the hard-baked crust of the seabed. Valdrmani, the Wolf Moon, remained a hellish wasteland. It had been the site of a Daemon ritual of surpassing size, and though it had since been reconsecrated there were sightings of Warp-gheists for weeks. The moon was wracked by electrical storms and hurricanes of flesh-stripping intensity, but it rode out the catastrophe, rebuilt by the Adepts of the Imperium into an astropathic relay station. As was the case with the First War for Armageddon the Ordo Hereticus and Grey Knights purged the Human survivors of the campaign, for they had witnessed a Daemon Primarch itself. With reluctant approval, Grimnar doomed the tribal warriors of Fenris to liquidation.
Furious and seeking revenge, Grimnar and the majority of the remaining Space Wolves made haste for the Cadian Gate, which was in the midst of Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade. Meanwhile on Terra itself, the High Lords were alarmed by the news of Daemon Primarchs plaguing the Imperium once more. They summoned no great army to respond, but instead living weapons of the Emperor. Human in appearance, but with the power to unmake a god.
Meanwhile within the Warp, Magnus roared a howl of triumph. His plan had succeeded and the Sortiarius was transported by a ritual fuelled from Midgardia's sacrifice. It reappeared over desolate Prospero, bringing with it a great Warp Rift and hordes of Daemons. The Imperium would never be the same.

Tametru
Tametru is the smelting and forging district of Xia. Materials and ores gathered from Voymari are shipped to Tametru, where they are melted and refined into proper forms to then be sold to Stelt and shipped elsewhere. Factories and weapons depots make their homes in Tametru, making it the industrial district of Xia. Just about everything in Xia is manufactured here, from silverware and TV sets, to weapons of mass destruction. Tametru is considered by many to be the heart of Xia’s industry, and even the birthplace of its industrialism as a whole. Constant molten metal flows and poor working conditions make it a hazardous place to live, and abandoned factories are often seized by the homeless. Steam vents are a common feature, dotting the landscape.
It is not uncommon for workers to collapse from heatstroke due to the hellish conditions in Tametru- Attempts at strikes are always broken up by the Vahki, and with so many desperate for jobs, it’s easy for factory owners to simply replace dissenting employees with more loyal, obedient ones. Not only that, but workplace regulations are few and far-between, with not enough railing to protect against falls, factory-machinery openly churning and risking the deaths of workers, and even frequent incidents of molten metal spilling; Workplace fires in Tametru, the kind that aren’t planned, are all too common.
Amidst the oppression, independent workers can still make their own profit. Smaller forges and other businesses make money by crafting specialized items, with the owners unable to afford the rent of Stelt, or else unwilling. These individual guilds and crafters hone unique, artisan skills in order to stand out against their mass-production competitors, offering work on specific requests. In order to better support one another, many of these independent smiths have formed the Forgers’ Guild; An organization of various craftsmen, artists, and blacksmiths who aim to teach others of their craft and spread the knowledge of smelting to others. The group frequently hosts conventions, charities, and is headed by the blacksmith Nuhrii. Members of the Forgers’ Guild recommend customers and potential apprentices to one another, and pool any money they have to ensure that others don’t fall behind financially. It is a code of brotherhood and community.
Of course, some factory owners are suspicious of the Forgers’ Guild, and have pushed the Vahki towards breaking them up for various, inane reasons; Luckily, the Xian Upper-Class seems to appreciate these independent businesses. Many, either through proxy, or on the rare occasion of in-person, will contact and commission members of the Forgers’ Guild for exquisite, finely-detailed crafts and artworks to better suit their tastes in ways a mass-production factory couldn’t. Although the relationship between these nobles and independent smiths is by no means equal, it’s better than nothing- It’s not uncommon for some aristocrats to be so pleased by the individual talent of a store they commissioned, that they’ll offer investment and financial backing to allow the independent smith to expand and re-open in more opportunistic locations.
Many blacksmiths with such patrons tend to gather in high-end malls, where crafters specialize in more luxurious items, such as jewelry, and sell their stock to wealthy Xians. Such areas are much more well-lit and ventilated, with refreshing AC. The purpose of these malls, other than to provide ready access to ‘approved’ independent shops and businesses, also allows nobles to freely shop for their desired wares in areas not deemed too unsightly or ‘filthy’ for them, like the rest of Tametru and its neighborhoods.
Anywhere one steps or looks in the Tametru district, they can find some sort of factory, and the sky is clouded by the pollution and heat of the towering smoke stacks, meaning the district yielding the most heat, also yields the least light as well. Underneath Tametru runs countless underground tunnels, pipelines, etc., that transport molten metal, oil, and liquid protodermis. Many of these tunnels are abandoned and are home to either Xians or animals, such as the Furnace Salamander. Tametru is usually where trash and waste is dumped and/or burned, and soot frequently rains on the area. Cleaning crews are common, but underpaid. Any metal that can be recycled is sent to reclamation centers to perform the same processes, reincarnating into new products.
The actual heat and flame used to melt down raw materials is often expelled from the various fire pits scattered across Tametru. Underground, powerful mechanisms convert energy into heat and flame that is distributed through the rest of the district through subterranean pipelines, powering factories, furnaces, and forges. Due to the massive heat expenditures, the scorched fire pits have been installed to allow this underground system to eject pillars of flame in order to cool down; While built to sustain massive temperatures, everything has its limit. The fire pits are closely guarded by multiple Vahki squads due to their importance to Xia’s industrial economy, allowing Tametru to remain functional; Individual Vahki units are coated with specialized armor plating meant to help them withstand the heat, with large cooling units attached to their backs. These Vahki also guard the areas where Xuan currency and coins are printed, for obvious reasons.
The most massive fire pit of all is the Great Furnace. A massive furnace in Tametru, the largest of all, its powerful flames keep the city’s foundries ablaze, and it is where the heaviest and most ambitious smelting projects are held. The most massive ore deposits and hardiest materials, such as Bohrok, are melted down here to later be transported as molten liquid to refineries, where they can be cooled and molded into parts and/or bullion.
Aside from simply manufacturing weapons, such horrific inventions are often tested in Tametru as well, in order to ensure product quality. Old factories scheduled for demolition are sometimes subject to some tests, which can bode unfortunately for homeless Xians who hide in such locations to escape debt and poverty. Specialized firing ranges to test the effects of powerful weaponry, such as the Hagah Plasma Cannon or latest model of Nektann, often buy metal scrap and hone it into sturdy walls to test products’ destructive limits. Unfortunately, those sentenced to death row are sometimes sent to these firing ranges as well...
The Xian Heart factories are located in Tametru, where massive crystals comprised of Viruses are formed through immense pressure and other means. The crystals contain massive elemental energy that when unleashed can drastically affect the ecosystem, thus making the area heavily patrolled by not only Vahki, but also those who profit from the Xian Heart economy as well. At the very least, heavy safety regulations are in place in such locations, to prevent Xian Hearts from detonating by mistake; The potential cost to manufacturers would be far too great otherwise.
Various models of Xian Hearts exist, such as the Heart of Fire, which scorches and melts down everything in its path; or the Heart of Stone, which has the power to fossilize and transmute just about anything in its vicinity into stone. Or for something a little cooler, try a Xian Heart of Ice; Its frozen crystals are constantly generating, although they are a poor way of cooling down forges and other factories. The destructive force of ice crystals and the sudden drop in temperatures makes these Xian Hearts of Ice ill-advised as cooling systems....
To many Xians, their island home IS Hell... So naturally, many workers like to joke around that Tametru, with its burning temperatures, flames, and reddened skies, is the literal embodiment of this sentiment.

New World Order and God father(s):
Ancient civilizations believed in Supremacy i.e., derived by power dispensation of existing rulers either politically or diplomatically.
Power dispensation between the two Global Gaints (USAmerica & Russian Federation)and Blitzkrieg of collapsed economies were at underrated stage in the early year of 2020. The Gulf Monarchs tied hands themselves, unknown to this current scenario and Middle East countries facing war turmoil. Central Asia becoming war mongers.
The fall of prosperous Arab nations like Afghanistan, Iraq, Libiya, Syria, Yemen and Economically under previlaged Iran followed by Qatar on Global Sanctions are seeking a temporary bailout from the First world countries or G20. Never to forget the atrocities happened on Humankind during the dictatorial regime of Ladens, Saddams, Gaddafis, Khomeinis, Mubaraks and few Emirs and the Clintons, Bush's and Obamas till Trumps who continued to dominate and patriate those dictators with their ancestors. The Oligarchs of the Liquid Diamond (CRUDE Oil, a Liquid Fossil, most expensive in demand) perished and America became undeclared, self decorated AGENT who trades it accoss the Globe.
Following which few of the Monarchs in Kuwait, Saudi and Arab Emirates followed the Agent, equivocal and unopposed.
By accepting the hard fact, life is not normal for people in these Arab countries who are abundantly rich in Liquid Fossil i.e., Oil resources. My focus point on this precious liquid, which drew the War Dog America conquering these countries.
I would like to reiterate few of the 3rd World Countries too who were fallen dumfaced to the American strategy under Clinton and faced deep drubbing, CUBA, VENEZUELA Etc.
So called recently Developed and still developing nations like India, China, Japan Europe and South American countries, became the customers of America but not to the Original producer Of Liquid Diamond.
Russia, having said the world leader in majority of its share on this earth by Land Mass, Destructive weapons, Space Technology, abundant of natural resources, Including Liquid Diamond alongwith proven Natural Gas reserves.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_in_Russia
Now the dominance of the World Order is clear. Irrespective of many sanctions Russia emerged as frontrunner in Weapons exports. Thanks to World's Largest Democracy and a diplomatically safest country INDIA and to CHINA, a Strong Policy maker. Also, Russia proved to be only gamble to majority of European Nations for their dependancy on Natural Gas on Russia, that is cheap and easily transited.
Now, few of the Monarchs are red eyed on Russian President, my most adorable name, that sounds really powerful, Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
The silent, all powerful, no nonsense, all whether ally of world's quarter of the population I.e., India and China.
The most decisive Nationalist, Stalinist, powerful ruler of all times in Russia. He who will be surpassing the Greatest Russian Warlord Joseph Stalin, his predecessor in coming days, once the referendum votes in mid or late 2020. The Russian Supreme court had approved the constitutional amendment for extending the President Terms till 2036, which makes him longest serving democratically elected leader ruling any nation and become Head of the state after elected.
Syria and Iran got blessings in disguise when Russian Air force backed the Bashar Al Assad regime and signed numerous treaties with Ahmedinejad respectively. At the time of sanctions on Iran by Donald Trump, so called last Agent, American President, who seemingly erroneous, impolite, and an ardent(passionate) dumb, Putin revoked the Price war between Saudi and other OPEC countries. Now no IRAN and QATAR to supply cheap Oil and Gas to the Rest of the World, Saudi King and Monarchs who are liberals per say to Americans, got their foot in mouth.
The great loss of trading and shipments business of the Agents made themselves struck in a recession and to bail their own country's economy themselves with $2 trillion. No IMF can support such huge package. Agents, so called Americans not only drew themselves but took majority of European nations too alongwith them.
Saudi Arabia, the leading producer as of now after Venezuela (largest crude Oil reserves proven, but not extracted) got into price war to cut the Oil output with Russia didnt heed the global attention. Lost the battle and dusted, Agents, influenced Saudis finally to accept a contract agreement with Russia on Oil Output standards according to latters requirements. This is the first time, a NoN OpEC country defining SoPs of an overseas terms in the history of world. This applies to all the treaties and agreements, even America couldn't make offlate.
Russian federation after the collapse of USSR in 1990s, the Chinese opened the market for foreign exchange and investments. India under PV narasihma rao diversified major economic reforms under able leadership of then Finance Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh. Only support to Russia was these two developing nations with opposite philosophies and prophecies.
After 21 years, first when a hardcore drunken master president, Boris Yeltsin called this ex-KGB agent Valdimir Putin to take charge of the Largest Country by land mass which couldn't be conquered in the history, RUSSIA.
Putin, waited for so many years, underwent so much of isolation, political drubbing, economic sanctions. Still emerged victorious and as the Real Boss, with help of two good friends. One, INDIA, under the leadership of a leader who democratically elected with huge majority for second term Mr. Narendra Modi and Second, CHINA under leadership of 1st ever President Mr Xi Jinping, after Mao Zedong who will serve in the President office for life.
Truth is, Russia emerged as Boss of the new World order without waging war and losing any of their resources.

Coronavirus caused lockdown in India
“A mistake in China took the lives of millions”
What is the truth about China’s Novel Coronavirus?
The news of coronavirus has scared the world. It is such a contagious disease that when in contact with each other, it catches people very fast, and it is so deadly that whoever is exposed to it. It takes his life: Coronavirus caused lockdown in India -
Coronavirus — Coronavirus is related, it is a group of viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. And that in humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that can be mild, such as some cases of the common cold (among other possible causes, mainly rhinoviruses), and others that can be fatal, such as SARS, Mars, and COVID-19. Characteristics differ in other species. In chickens, they cause an upper respiratory tract disease, whereas in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea. Humans have not yet been able to make vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat coronavirus infection.
It has been reported by Chinese scientists that a similar similarity was observed between Coronavirus and SARS virus. In 2002 and 2003, the SARS virus caused an epidemic. The SARS virus is spread by whipping or swinging. Even then, China did not allow people to reach the news of this deadly infectious SARS virus. And China repeated the same mistake once again. This time, instead of being told about the circumcision virus more than the SARS virus, he started hiding it again. But like all times, this time China could not hide this virus. Because this virus proved so much more dangerous than the earlier virus that it had killed so many people in a very short time. China was now finding it more difficult to hide it.
When, where and how the Coronavirus was born: — Since the first week of December 2019, it started spreading in the world, the coronavirus had already killed the people by this virus. Then in the last week of December, the number of patients increased to 7. Doctor Lee Welyang was the first patient to come to his hospital. Then Dr. Lee Welyang told about this virus through social media. But only a few days later, Dr. Lee died of this corona deadly virus. The Chinese government had told Doctor Li to keep this news a secret. But Doctor Lee knew that the virus is not like hiding from anyone. This virus is a very dangerous life-threatening virus.
China says about this, there is a lab in Wuhan, China. Where scientists of both China and Japanese countries work together. China used to be a biological weapon in that lab. Such news came. But the Chinese government has so far denied this, that it also works to make biological weapons.
China says about this, there is a lab in a city called Wuhan, China. Where the Chinese community government secretly used to work in that lab. China used to be a biological weapon in that lab. Such news came. But the Chinese government has so far denied this, that it also works to make biological weapons. Scientists at China’s lab in Wuhan say that they were doing research on deadly viruses such as Ebola, Nipah, and SARS. During the research itself, scientists could see the symptoms of coronavirus in their microscope. Such a virus was first seen in medical history. Looking at its genetic sequestration suggests that it may be close to bats.
(Such a doubt happened.)
China says that it spread from the fish market of Wuhan in China.
please follow and share this post: Coronavirus caused lockdown in India
What package has the Modi government implemented on the Corona crisis?
Coronavirus: The Modi government is working on an economic package to help people.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Tuesday that the Narendra Modi government is working on an economic package to help the people. He said that the government is working on the package on priority and will announce it soon.
The finance minister made the revelation on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, while announcing that he would address the media this afternoon through video conferencing on statutory and regulatory compliance matters.
What effect did the atmosphere have on being down?
The public down in India had a huge impact on our environment. The moving world was spread with so much air pollution. That there was trouble in breathing. But for the last few days, there has been some purity in the air. Which is a very good thing. For the entire air system.
Human impact on Earth’s atmosphere -
Like children playing in the mud, humans have polluted the Earth’s environment and the environment in many ways. The Industrial Revolution made enormous progress in technology and development, but due to this air pollution and pollution continued in the air. Human impact on Earth’s atmosphere and climate remains a major issue in ecological politics today and presents a problem that can threaten the planet for years.
Greenhouse gases:
Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, contribute to the greenhouse effect, creating heat in the atmosphere, which increases temperatures on the oceans and the planet. According to the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere have increased 38 percent since 1750, while methane concentrations have risen to 148 percent during the same period. Most scientists extend this to the widespread combustion of fossil fuels.
Ozone layer blasting:
The ozone layer, a protective covering of the atmosphere, helps block ultraviolet radiation. In May of 1985, scientists from the British Antarctic Survey found that some were destroying ozone molecules over Antarctica. The problem study traced the destruction of chlorofluorocarbons and other ozone-depleting chemicals, and in 1987, countries around the world signed the Montreal Protocol to discontinue the use of CFCs. CFCs include chemicals commonly found in aerosol sprays, refrigerants used in air conditioners, and blowing agents for foam and other packing materials.
Air pollution:
Humans also affect the environment locally through air pollution. Compounds released by fossil fuel splitting often form ozone molecules at the ground level. This puts people at risk of difficulty breathing and can cause lung damage with prolonged exposure. The EPA regularly publishes air quality control for the affected areas and advises those with difficulty breathing or environmental sensitivity where ozone concentrations are highest.
effect:
Even after banning some chemicals or clearing the air, it will take some time for the atmosphere to heal. Even though CFCs were banned in 1985, their viruses would persist in the environment for a long time. The British Antarctic Survey estimates that it may take 50 years for holes in the ozone layer to disappear, provided there is no new threat to ozone.
In the same way, the Earth’s ecosystem absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere very slowly, meaning that stabilizing CO2 production levels may not be sufficient to even stop the major atmospheric liquid. Climate change studies on the intergovernmental panel show that even though humans cut carbon production levels by 50 percent, the Earth still showed a change in momentum in the next century due to a net increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide. Is giving Will give.

Homebrew Items
I really appreciated all the advice I got about dishing out magical items, so I’d love your feedback on some homebrew items I’ve come up with. I dunno what rarity some should be, or if effects are too powerful/need caveats.
Under a cut because so any of my players that follow me don’t spoil themselves on accident.
Credit and appreciation to @aw-dunk for helping me with wording and balancing on some of these!
I’m hoping to work out some sort of loose enchantment upgrading system, where enchantments can be refined, or restored to unleash their full potential. I don’t have a clear idea of what I want most of the upgrades to be, however.
Additionally, I’m playing with the idea of using material spell components to be expended with an enchantment to allow for a more powerful effect.
Zorp Orb
A core of incredibly small, intricate clockwork suspended in the center of an astrolabe. The coiled springs and ticking gears of the seem to undulate across its surface. The rings that freely rotate around the core each contain a differently colored iridescent lens-- like soap in a bubble wand-- that converge and pass between each other, seemingly without physical form. Brings a player missing from the session to a random place in an alternate plane to explore while the rest of the party continues to play.
Couples’ Rings (Upgrade)
A silver ring inlaid with tiny sapphires and diamonds in the pattern of a twisting wave, cresting to hold a modest sapphire. Shape water cantrip.
Engraving on the inside: “Part the seas so that we may meet again.”
Partner ring is hammered bronze and copper, with a weathered look about it. Raw gems set into the band.
Engraving on the inside: “Cleave the mountains so that we may meet again.”
Wand of Druidcraft
Fashioned into a hair ornament from the wood of a dryad’s tree, the ever-blooming flowers never wilt. When attuned to this item, the user may use a command word to cast Druidcraft.
Amulet of Prestidigitation
Offered in the form of a hair comb, or a set of hairpins, these glass-studded decorations always catch the light in a charming manner. WHen attuned to this item, the user may use a command word to cast Prestidigitation.
Staff of Bees, it looks just like a large honey dipper (Material)
Creates a Swarm of Wasps that can be summoned as a bonus action and controlled as an action on the user’s turn.
The user may expend one pint of honey (2sp) to summon a Giant Wasp on a bonus action and controlled as an action on the user’s turn.
Slippers of Waterwalking
Fine blue silk with embroidered with lily pads and dragonflies. In sunlight it's as if looking into a clear, shifting pond while the dragonfly wings appear to shimmer and move. When attuned to this item the user may move across any liquid surface at will.
Mage’s Favor
A barely translucent white bead wrapped in a runed gold band hung from a simple leather cord. As long as this item remains within 500 feet of you, you may remain attuned to it. Once per day, this item can deliver a spell you cast as if it had cast it. If the spell requires an attack roll, you use your attack modifier for the roll. Ranges are measure as originating on this item, but you must have line of sight for spells that require the target to be seen
Circlet of Night (Upgrade)
An iridescent green and purple gem is held by finely crafted obsidian bat wings that wrap around the wearer’s head. Attuned wearer may activate for 1hr of darkvision per day. (Upgrade to permanent.)
Tanglefoot Cloak (Upgrade)
A cloak of tangled ivy and vines. Attuned user may speak the command word to make up to 10ft radius around them difficult terrain for one hour. This effect moves with the wearer. 4 uses, 1d4 recharge per day.
Sylvan Mantle
Cloak of nearly translucent earthy-colored linen, the lush vegetation beaded and embroidered into it seems to just barely cling to the shoulders of the wearer to float and flutter in the air of its own devices. Advantage on stealth checks in foliage. 4 uses 1d4 recharge per day for 12+dex unarmored ac for 1hr.
Old Officer’s Jacket
Beginning to get threadbare at the elbows, and the brass closures are beginning to dull, but this jacket still has an air of authority. +1 on Charisma checks, advantage on Intimidation checks.
Gilded Cage
Fantastically popular among the wealthy as messengers and companions, this item is available as an amulet, earring, or suspended from atop a wand or staff. It may be used to summon a small bird such as a sparrow or canary to act as a familiar. This item may be used as many times per day as the user’s INT mod.
Birdnest Circlet
Crafted of gold and copper this circlet holds three small oval agates. When the wearer of this circlet casts a spell of first level or higher (up to third level,) the spell is recorded within the circlet, storing one charge per spell slot. Upon 3 charges, the user may choose to activate the circlet, casting all stored spells at once without expending any spell slots. Spells without viable targets fail. The agates then crack superficially, and this effect cannot be used until the enchantment is restored.
Amulet of... Fidget Spinner
Three enameled wings rotate freely around a blown glass eye. Attuned user gains +1 to concentration checks.
Hunter’s Fishing Rod
A weathered but sturdy fishing rod. Attuned user may use this item as a grappling hook and a 1d6 light slapping weapon. Advantage on fishing checks.
Dunkleosteus Helmet (Upgrade?)
The bony, fossilized skullplates of an ancient beast. Put it on your head!
Either “As a reaction, you gain resistance to the next type of damage you would take. One use per day.” OR “If you would suffer a critical hit, it becomes a normal hit instead. Any effects triggered by a critical hit are canceled. Upon using this effect, the enchantment fades and must be restored.”
Possibly an upgrade item, probably part of a bone/fossil set.
Enchanted Cocoon (Upgrade)
A silvery cocoon that glows in the moonlight. After 1d6 days hatches into a caterpillar familiar. The owner of this item can raise this caterpillar into a moth or butterfly that’s fey in nature. Upgrade into a flying mount.
The Hag’s Spoon
An old spoon still wet with blood after all these years, the sound of bones breaking still in the wood. 1d4 light club. Trolls that can see this weapon must make a DC 10 wisdom save or be Frightened for 1min. Strikes with this weapon prevent troll regeneration for one turn.
The Songsmith (Upgrade?)
This weapon releases a fragment of an ancient song when used in battle or channeled for 1min. Before the user’s next short or long rest this weapon may grant one use of bardic inspiration to the user.
And I haven’t statted them out yet but I’m considering a series of rare items that grant the first/second level abilities of each class-- kind of like how the Magic Initiate feat gives a first level spell and 2 cantrips? Definitely a work in progress since anybody having a use of action surge/second wind is REALLY good.....
But let me know what you think! I want these to feel intuitive but I can’t seem to word them more clearly!
