[1] What first impression do they typically make? Are they likeable from the get go, or take time to grow on people?

Empirically the primary impression ae have made on people in the WebSMP so far is "Vwoop's standoffish aggro friend who talks weird" which flies variably depending on the person but I think leans more to "takes time to grow on people"

[3] What emotion is the hardest for them to deal with? [25] Do they have fears and phobias, and if they do, do they usually keep it to themselves or talk about it openly?

Doing these together because it is definitely fear/discomfort and they are both pretty bad at handling it

Arron really really dislikes explicitly explaining what distresses him out of a somewhat-erroneous sense of self-preservation, and Graphite kind of ontologically can't bring up something that isn't funny or relevant to the conversation. The thing is it is very good at ~macerating on things it starts worrying about so it's just kind of like [looks at you waiting for you to say something so it can start talking about its Analysis]. What this ends up manifesting as is that a distressing thing happens and the best either can do is cycle into the "become avoidant" part of the loop with no explanation – ae are generally bad at concealing distress, but they both really want you to pretend ae aren't

Arron has literally speaking lost his original voice which is a nonzero loss for him but one that he is tanking as it does not even make top 50 priorities rn. In compensation Graphite is good at picking up hymns; it is constantly singing to some value, which does extend to literal singing sometimes, especially when not fronting. They have had several debates about the legitimacy of hymns sung without knowledge of what the words mean, but this is mostly a settled issue because Graphite Does care to listen to the lore
