#mainly focusing on the gay stuff bc like. q-taro's had experience where kai has Not #kai's out here this is his first time having Friends that haven't been complicit in torture and/or murder #let alone any romantic endeavors TT_TT he needs to focus on figuring out how to care for others on a personal level first #because he does hold compassion but it's not as if one's compassion for humanity (as a concept) can be easily transferred over #to people that you're meant to talk to personally and not in an. 'at mortal danger' stage #that's something that you'd have to learn. and he is! and he's done well for the most part if it weren't for #mr. chidouin's manipulation. acceptance emoji. IT'S FINE.
