#keese draws#new game+#grips sink and tries not to cry#isat#ok anyways I just drew this because I wanted to try out an isat profile html someone on toyhouse made#plus Iāve been rotating early on less completely fucked up chou in my mind recently#anyways did you know that comicfrin (at least in one panel) doesnāt wear gloves? fun stuff#oh wait speaking of forgot to tag them#comic siffrin#anyways important note! them looking less disheveled than siffrin is on purpose#chou started off their loops Far more mentally stable than siffrin and actually managed pretty well their first run through#it still was rough and they still were a bit of a sad wet trembling puppy abt it but they were generally doing just fine#they didnāt even go on a self loathing monologue after their first death! who is this guy!#dw the self loathing is still there it just takes a bit longer to hit in full force since again they started off more stable#anyways I probably should have cross referenced some move animations for this but I think I got the point across that theyāre a support#unit even if the turn passing gimmic is not rly evident (idk if I could make it evident tbf)#shout out to how in their default kit they have 6 turn passing skills and only one attacking skill#also said attack as a cooldown of. five turns. tbf thatās because it has a pretty strong secondary effect#they also have three other support moves where they boost different damage types for a round#so yeah theyāre basically pure support which they sorta had to be at first because bestie started off at level like. 5.#they ofc switch up their kit pretty damn fast after the first run#but first time around when they were leveling at abt the same rate as everyone else they were content to play support

#doctor who#dw spoilers#I didn't like that ep very much and I still don't really get what Conrad's deal was#but he did have a point wrt UNIT being too opague. and also way too powerful#Kate sicced an alien on a guy live on camera#like yeah that guy sucked but that alien wasn't even on the payroll so she shouldn't get to do that#from what I'm reading in the dw tags I think people misunderstand the ep as being too hard on Think Tank/Conrad and not hard enough on UNIT#but 1) Think Tank is bad just for what they did to Ruby alone and 2) this does not make UNIT good#this is like Kablam all over again. no the ep did not defend The System (capitalism/military).#the ep showcased what's wrong with it by having a Villain attacking it so we get a glimpse at its insides#just bc the Doctor defeated only the minor villain but didn't dismantle the system doesn't mean the system isn't also bad#or well. way too easily abused

Lol but fr hello i finally finished all 4 chibi sprites. Here s more of them
I wanna make intro posts for them soon, but i think i ll do that when i finish their sekai fits fullbody drawings. For now here s some basic info bout em under the cut:
Group of outcasts and troublemakers somehow end up in eachothers lives and start making music together, to convey the feelings they can't vocalise.
Mayumi - He's an aloof boy that doesn't listen to anyone and is difficult to converse with due to his weird, roundabout way of conversing with people, if he replies to you at all. He loves fashion and music, spends a lot of time trying out different instruments but he has an electric guitar at home that he plays often. Oh and he usually wears his hair behind his ears and no band aid, but he has a lot of piercings and doesn't wanna get in trouble at school, because it'd be a nuisance.
Ayase - Ray of sunshine that won't stop can't stop- but despite being so friendly and easy to get along with, he doesn't seem to have many friends. He always gets in trouble for breaking the unform code.
Haru - Transfer student with infinite confidence that doesn't back down from a fight. He's chill for the most part, as he doesn't really speak, ever- but if you try to fuck with him you will regret it. Got expelled from his previous school for various things like skipping class very often, breaking uniform code, fighting students and teachers, and generally being a menace.
Yuuta - World's largest chiuwawa. Is scared of everything and everyone, and has a stutter. He doesn't actually attend school irl, his anxiety turning him into a shut in- but in his free time he loves going around town and doing grafitti. He makes double triple sure nobody will see him though, because if he gets caught he will probably combust and die. Grafitti is the only thing that's worth the anxiety to him though.
Their whole story as a group is finding reasons to keep trying- as all of them have given up, in one way or another.

we are finally. FINALLY. after 10 years of renovating mr d's childhood house able to afford a functioning bathtub replacement.
#not dogs#but kinda#bc do you know how difficult it is having indoor/outdoor big dogs when you don't have a functioning bathtub#i'd be on my porch with a lowes bucket full of tepid soap water each spring#soon. BATHING#we've done a majority of stuff DIY and i'm so proud of that#but honestly the replacement of the bathtub unit#which is from the 70s and unfortunately ruined by mr d and his sister when they tried to re enamel it....#means a huge majority of the drywall will have to be replaced as well#i am taking this time to also put a window in that room bc it's windowless and depressing#i just kinda astounding that our guy gave us a quote and i was like 'yeah that's reasonable and affordable'#and yeah yeah i know i come from a place of privilege that i was somehow able to buy a house at like 24 and put the work in ourselves#but i'm so proud of us#i have literally bled sweat and cried over this house#legit think my parents thought it was a tear down#omg and a real fucking vanity in there not just a slop sink can u imagine

#doctor who#you cannot perfectly map real life politics onto doctor who#yes the optics of this episode are flawed#yes unit has serious issues#but like#this isnt real life#and because it isnt real life we know that unit are the 'good guys' more or less#within the world of doctor who think tank ARE wrong and ARE putting people in danger and DO need shutting down#and seeing unit#the FICTIONAL ORGANISATION which has no proper real world comparison because aliens arent real#as the bad guys here is massively overly simplistic#i do think the messaging is messy#and tbh this episode should have been different if rtd and mctighe wanted to criticise disinfo campaigns like this#but i will defend unit because they have characters i like and they protect the earth and most importantly theyre NOT REAL#and cannot be a complete parallel to any real world org because aliens are also NOT REAL (or at least not on earth)#i think it relates to a fundamental problem in the fandom#where people see the doctor and kate and the brigadier as Bad because they can be morally grey#like no actually people who mean well dont suddenly become bad and awful and unlikeable when they arent perfect#its nuance its always nuance the lack of nuance is killing fandoms and leftism in general#and its killing me that its happening!#we cannot win if we refuse to see beyond a simple binary good and evil#im digressing but god the discourse on this is hitting all the right notes to drive me mad#ive blocked so many people and im not sorry#yeah anyway tldr i will block you for defending space info wars. grow a brain

I need the Doctor Who finale NEOW because I really cant decide how I feel about Wish World and I need the second part of it to solidify my opinions
(spoilers in the tags you have been warned)
#doctor who#doctor who spoilers#I have mixed feelings about Wish World#there were a lot of great parts about it#but I have such issues with the pacing of it#I feel like this shouldve been a 3 part finale#instead we got the very tacked on Rani bigeneration at the end of last episode#and what felt like a very rushed part 1 and 2 crammed into one episode#there was WAY too much telling the audience what was happening#which was very much because they crammed too much into this episode#so they had to speed run the doubt plot line resolving itself#and it fell flat imo#we dont have the finale so of course im missing pieces of the puzzle here#but so far I dont see the point in Conrad#I was hoping there would be a point to him so that I would warm up to Lucky Day some more#but yeah. still no point to him. he's not needed here. Rani could've done this all herself#Lucky Day would've been much better as a pilot or episode for the UNIT series#get rid of that episode and we could've had a 3 part finale and this wouldnt have been so rushed#and wouldnt feel so disjointed#even as a part 1 there shouldve still been some payoff here for what we've been building#and instead they continued to build and there was absolutely no payoff#which is frustrating#and I dont know how theyre going to wrap it up in the finale in a satisfying way#I had mixed feelings about last season's finale as well so im nervous ngl#we shall see next week

I think the funniest possible way to view Astro Bot is that everything we see is how Astro Bot sees the world. By which I mean all the characters are not, in fact, little robot dudes, but the full, complete characters all from their own video games, and Astro Bot just views them as looking like bots.
I dunno about you, but I find that idea HILARIOUS. You've got Conner Cyberlife trying to analyze the shit out of John Dark Souls, who's about to get into an arm-wrestling competition with Aloy. Kratos is asking if anyone has seen his boy. Octodad is standing awkwardly thinking "they don't know I'm a cephalopod" while Ratchet is chatting him up thinking this is completely normal. Nathan has somehow fucked up everything and Fall Guy is involved. Traveler From Journey is chirping to get everyones attention on the boss appearing but nobody is listening. Apes are there. It's beautiful.

Anyone else seen Kaos on Netflix?
#It's modern interpretation of a bunch of woven myths#Not too bad overall#gorey in some scenes so TW ahead of that if you haven't watched it#Also TW for Animal Death#Jeff Goldblum is Zeus#Which I can see the reason why they picked him#but he didn't feel like a zeus to me and it just felt like Jeff Goldblum ran the world...#In his little Jeff Goldblum tracksuits and sun/glasses#It was fun to find Rose from DW#and pick out all the myths they chose to go with#as well as diverse cast/backstories that felt normal even with the modern parts#Caeneaus was probably my favorite#and his backstory was like -Lightbulb moment-#But yeah#God representation was 7/10 for me#I wished more of the gods would have made cameos#as it just felt like Zeus Hera Poseidon Dionysis Hades and Persephone as a family unit that wasn't meshing in my head#with little nods to ācalling the other kidsā when Jeff wasn't getting his way#it's a netflix original so I'm not expecting more but wouldn't mind seeing how they progress with all the Myths they finished in S1
