New pjsk group leaked real not clickbait ⁉️⁉️⁉️

Lol but fr hello i finally finished all 4 chibi sprites. Here s more of them

I wanna make intro posts for them soon, but i think i ll do that when i finish their sekai fits fullbody drawings. For now here s some basic info bout em under the cut:
Group of outcasts and troublemakers somehow end up in eachothers lives and start making music together, to convey the feelings they can't vocalise.
Mayumi - He's an aloof boy that doesn't listen to anyone and is difficult to converse with due to his weird, roundabout way of conversing with people, if he replies to you at all. He loves fashion and music, spends a lot of time trying out different instruments but he has an electric guitar at home that he plays often. Oh and he usually wears his hair behind his ears and no band aid, but he has a lot of piercings and doesn't wanna get in trouble at school, because it'd be a nuisance.
Ayase - Ray of sunshine that won't stop can't stop- but despite being so friendly and easy to get along with, he doesn't seem to have many friends. He always gets in trouble for breaking the unform code.
Haru - Transfer student with infinite confidence that doesn't back down from a fight. He's chill for the most part, as he doesn't really speak, ever- but if you try to fuck with him you will regret it. Got expelled from his previous school for various things like skipping class very often, breaking uniform code, fighting students and teachers, and generally being a menace.
Yuuta - World's largest chiuwawa. Is scared of everything and everyone, and has a stutter. He doesn't actually attend school irl, his anxiety turning him into a shut in- but in his free time he loves going around town and doing grafitti. He makes double triple sure nobody will see him though, because if he gets caught he will probably combust and die. Grafitti is the only thing that's worth the anxiety to him though.
Their whole story as a group is finding reasons to keep trying- as all of them have given up, in one way or another.

YOOOOO!!!
I wanna drop in these oc plans.... they have been in my for a good while and I wanna dump about them so badly... This is gonna be long so it will be under the cut. Includes what they represent and how they will look like in terms of fashion. So. Here you go :
• Bloody-Hell Girl (real name - Kat Rudson) : This girl represents the struggles of having instrusive thoughts and unfortunate desires of bludgeoning. For fashion I would give her goth/grunge (more goth-focused) with decorative bandages and idrk, some scene elements
• Pixelized Girl (real name - PiXXY) : This girl represents how these days people only see robots as the same thing and bash on them. She even is a robot herself! For fashion she would def wear decora with a super cute slinky accessory
• Palette Girl (real name - Hinako Kashiki) : This girl represents the overall struggles of being an artist (burnout, no motivation, etc), being replaced by a robot, creating just to be critisized by a parent because of the style and wanting to show everyone that artists are worthy human beings. I would give her mori kei/casual outfit.. but make it colorful
• "Magical" Girl (real name - Kaede Yuzuriha) : Oh boy this girl is my FAVOURITE future girl so far. I based her from Amane Momose from the music project MILGRAM. She represents how voices of cults are not heard, how cults can affect you, the result of an extremely awful parental figure and overall the demise of magical girls. The outfit will be all cutesy, pastel and magical-girl like which represents how she wanted to be just like a child full of color before getting into the hospital
• Lustbird Girl (real name - Cara Burnington; psuedonym is Caramel) : Represents struggles with sexual thoughts/desires and the result of being exposed to R-18 content at a horribly young age. I already got her outfit planned before writing this - all erokawa-like basically
• Poison Girl (real name - Cye Kurstling) : Represents how hurting someone can lead to serious consequences (like poison). I'd say her outfit would be all witch-like since she does witchcraft
• Lightbulb Girl (real name - Bolt Lightyear; it's a pun LOL) : Represents struggles as a mechanic and perfectionism. Her outfit would be all tech-like and mechanic-like
• Ashtray Girl (real name - Aya Arnaldo) : Represents how smoking can affect you(...very obvious), struggles with severe depression, severe mood swings and being afraid to talk without making it sound rude. Her outfit would be more grunge-focused with elements of visual kei band clothing
• Colorful-Death Girl (real name - Fia Harrison) : Represents strong desires of death in many ways (like a colorful, goretesque painting) including on herself. Now her outfit would be gothic lolita styled with some elements of medieval clothing
• Ruined-Harmony Girl (real name - Xeres [read as Ceres]) : Represents the strong hatred against making the day same as always and trying to make the day more interesting, but fails. Hence her name Ruined-Harmony is based off a trope that is always seen in fantasy novels. Her outfit would be fantasy-like for added irony
• Linked Girl (idea from anti-socialexperiment; real name - Kida Fumiko [記田 文子]) : Represents the struggle of keeping things together and perfectionism (in another perspective). Her outfit would be all tech-like with a blue color palette
• Awake Girl (idea from anti-socialexperiment; real name - Thyra Silje) : Represents extreme anger towards annoying and stupid people, mood swings and the struggles of being unable to control your emotions. Her outfit would be Y2K-styled
• And finally... Mummify Girl (idea from anti-socialexperiement yet again; real name - Zorka Ljubena) : Represents the struggles of having mutism and wanting to hide herself, hence her name. Her outfit will be trash fashion (fashion from recycled garbage) with some elements of the outfits of Ancient Egypt pharaohs, and with a LOT of bandages making it to resemble a mummy. Fingerless gloves too with we are real with it
That's all! I hope this was interesting^^ If I have some more I can make a part 2, I will make these girls real someday
#the post traumatic manifesto#tptm oc#🔪 • bloody hell girl#🕹 • pixelized girl#🎨 • palette girl#🎠 • “magical” girl#💗 • lustbird girl#⚗️ • poison girl#💡 • lightbulb girl#🚬 • ashtray girl#☠️ • colorful-death girl#📕 • ruined-harmony for#🖇 • linked girl#🌞 • awake girl#⚰️ • mummify girl#ok bye :3#WTF SO MANT TAGS??

About me, BoneDev!
Hi there! I'm BoneDev, but I also go by Mr. Sketchy on some other social medias! I'm the creator & currently only developer/artist on my Gorillaz visual novel game, Momentary x Kiss!
I enjoy drawing, playing Baldur's Gate 3, Sims 4, Palworld & Cult of the Lamb! I'm 27 years old & have been drawing since I was little.
I came up with the idea for MxK last summer when I was going through an existential crisis at work (like I normally have) & was watching some videos on a certain LolCow developer. I thought to myself 'Bitch, I could probably make a game myself with no experience!'....and I realized, I totally could!
So, I thought small-- I'm not a game developer & haven't dabbled with video game making since I was 15 (took a video game design class). I wasn't looking to make a massive triple A title or a massive indie game like Cuphead or even a small game like Cult of the Lamb.
Then it hit me: visual novels! I'm already an artist, so that cuts half the workload off of me. But I still needed to learn coding; then I discovered Ren'Py, a small but VERY powerful VN maker that has helped make multiple VN games (including Doki Doki Literature Club).
I got to work looking up Python books, coding books (Game Development with Ren'Py by Robert Ciesla BTW), & watching TONS of videos on Youtube on Ren'Py & how to use it to my advantage.
I've always been a fan of Gorillaz since I was 13 years old. Jamie Hewlett is the reason why I wanted to be an artist, his bizarre & grotesque art style amazed me as a kid. I became obsessed & learned to draw people by copying his style & later developing my own art style.
I've never came across a Gorillaz dating simulator (not yet, at least) & realized it could be a small niche I could capitalize on! What if you could date the Gorillaz members & romance them?
Thus, Momentary x Kiss was born! Named after one of my favorite Gorillaz songs, Momentary Bliss, you play as a fan who wins the chance to hang out with 1 member of the band & spend time with them.
So, I jumped on the opportunity & wrote down ALL my ideas for the game: date locations, getting to know the characters, buy gifts for him, answer questions for extra affection & much more! (Will explain later)
ANYWAYS!!! I'm the only one working on this & this is entirely a PASSION PROJECT!! I don't plan to make money off of this (I don't own the IP of Gorillaz or the references that will be made).
It will/has been a daunting task-- balancing work, school (at the time) & battling my anxiety & depression has made focusing on MxK a bit of a challenge, but I don't want to lose hope! I CAN'T LOSE HOPE! Somewhere out there, there's probably some Gorillaz fans who wish there was a dating sim for Gorillaz.
And I wanna be the one to make it a real!
XOXO!!
I'll try to post here with updates as often as I can! Feel free to suggest things, comment & spread the word! Any exposure would greatly help!
Cheers!

Did you also start reading Cinderella Boy to fill the kingdom hearts void too? You saw fairy tales and keys in the same thing and immediately locked on in a desperate grasp at finding anything even tangentially related to KH in your brain? Then it was really funny and actually good now you’re trapped there as well? Or am I possibly projecting my exact arc onto you as well and it was actually a total coincidence… Also it would probably be the Mickeymouse clubhouse that you’re a part of. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.
(Insert image of the Mickey mouse clubhouse here because images are turned off, which is fair)
Should I get into Twisted Wonderland? I don’t know what’s going on in that room at all but the art is delicious-
Alright sorry for rambling so much it’s literally 3:30 am rn. Bye bye~
Lol hi~
Naw I initially read Cinderella Boy because I saw the premise on Webtoon trending and was concerned that it may be transphobic, but I also really liked the concept so I read a little bit to see if it wasn’t. I’m glad to say there is nothing transphobic about it and the story actually uses gendered archetypes to deconstruct gender norms >:3
I just happened to also be a Kingdom Hearts fan but never made the connection between the two 😛
As of typing this I just finished Book 6 of Twisted Wonderland and I can deffo say it’s worth playing for the story, and the gameplay isn’t too bad either once you get used to it. Just don’t spend any real-world money. It’s entirely possible to play without spending money so long as you have patience and gamble wisely XD
As a gacha game, it’s story is mostly told in visual novel format, but there is also a combat system and fun mini rhythm games
Today is actually my favorite character’s birthday so here’s a photo of that
Unfortunately I will not be rolling for his new card because I spent all my in-game life savings trying to get this card last week:

Totally worth it, but from now on I wanna save up for Halloween (or whenever the Tangled event shows up on the English servers cause I NEED Rapunzel-Riddle)
The Japanese servers get content about a year in advance of the English servers, so most of the fans prefer to play on those. I just play the Eng ver and get all my spoilers from my bestie who got me into this game
If you do decide to try it out, my advice to you is to save your keys. Merge any single keys you get into tenfolds, and save those tenfold keys until an event with cool cards comes in (or if you need one with certain spells). Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t 😅
I’m greatly enjoying the story tho so it’s all worthwhile >:3
#do keep in mind that all the characters are male if that’s anything. it’s not a dating sim but ya know#gasp an ask#twisted wonderland#cinderella boy#kingdom hearts

I was sent here by @hxhhasmysoul after seeing them reblog one of your artworks. It was nice looking. You did good. 👍
I’m curious on what exactly is “Project Sekai” I was told it was an online game of some of that sort.
O///O
H-Hi!
Sorry taking so long to answer this! It’s just- I didn’t expect an actual ask about this! (And also to like. Collect my thoughts since I have so much to say about Project Sekai)
Umm!!! Thank you for liking that art of my favorite Project Sekai characters with my favorite Jujutsu Kaisen characters btw! >///<
Okay. Where to start?! I guess we can start what’s Project Sekai is and then later talking about the plot! :Dc
Let’s go!!! Project Sekai Lore 101! Or like. My attempt to explain it! •v•;
(More under the cut if you’re interested! ^w^/)
What is Project Sekai?
Well, it’s a mobile rhythm game where you tap/slide/flick on the notes to the beat of the song! However it’s also technically a sort of visual novel game too!
The gameplay revolves around the rhythm game, but the story is very much a visual novel! And you generally unlock the story through getting points via playing the rhythm game portion of Project Sekai (for the main story and during the event stories when live).
Oh. And it’s technically a Gacha game too, where ya pull cards of the characters (the art usually relates to the story/have a general theme for each set).
Of course, I could explain more about the general gameplay, but that’s not what this post is gonna be about, so let’s move on!!! >v<
What’s the Story of Project Sekai?
Okay, before I even talk about the story, I would need to give you some context on a bit of the world building within Project Sekai! Soooo…
Project Sekai Lore/World! (Or like as best I can explain anyway lol)
There is this plane called “In Between Worlds” which is essentially sort of like empty space where the OG Vocaloids resides (Miku, Kaito, Luka, Mekio, Rin, and Len). This place is where SEKAIs can form.
What are SEKAIs? Well they are essentially little tiny world that’s form!
Within those SEKAIs, there are essentially alter versions of Vocaliods depending on the group of people’s views on the Vocaloids, but mostly based on who themselves wanna be like (e.g. WxS Kaito being a good older brother role model, something Tsukasa strives to be) or based on people the group knows (e.g. VBS Meiko being based on An’s views of Nagi Kotaki, her aunt).
How does do these SEKAI form? Well they form when a group of people have a similar feeling/ambition/dream that they all wanna achieve!
However! There’s been cases where a Whole SEKAI are formed due to only one person’s intense feelings! But those are extremely rare since only a person’s feelings/emotions can create a Fragment SEKAI, if their feelings are strong enough at that moment. However unlike a fully developed SEKAI, a Fragment Sekai are pretty fragile and doesn’t last that long. While a complete SEKAI can last forever in theory iirc. :oc
But yeah! SEKAI are essentially mini worlds that are based on a group of people common feelings where the group can come in anytime they want via their phone/devices! The group usually first enters in via clicking on a mystery song that popped up within their playlist called “Untitled”. And Bada-Bing! Bada-Boom! They get to meet that world’s version of Hatsune Miku, and get a free therapist! XD
Of Course, this isn’t a well known thing in the general public, so the groups generally keeps the knowledge about their SEKAIs hush-hush. Which makes sense since like… how the hell would ya explain this to someone without them looking at ya strange? XD
What’s the Story of Project Sekai? (For Reals this time lol)
So, from what ya can gather from the worldbuilding/lore. Ya can probably guess that the general plot and goal of the story is for the Vocaloids to help guide the main casts towards their goals, and have them understand and express their feelings freely. Since once the group comes to an understanding of each other feelings, the Untiled song will then changed into an actual song that expresses the groups’ feelings!
So! Let’s dive into the Main Story within Project Sekai!
There are a total of 5 groups that we focus on! Each group contains 4 members! So that’s a total of 20 main characters! @v@
The Groups being…
Leo/need! (the typical band)
MORE MORE Jump! (the idol group)
Vivid BAD SQUAD (the street music group)
Wonderlands x Showtime (the theater/troupe group)
Nightcord at 25:00 (the online music video group)
And of course, the members within these groups has names~
L/N: Ichika Hoshino (vocalist/main guitarist), Saki Tenma (pianist), Honami Mochizuki (drummer), Shiho Hinomori (bass guitarist).
All of them were also childhood friends before they slowly drifted apart during Middle School due to Saki getting really sick due to her chronic illness, Shiho distancing herself from the group due to increased rumors about her, and Honami grew distant due to being ostracized for being too much of a people pleaser and thus people called her two faced. Ichika was the only one who didn’t know what happened, thus blamed herself for the rift. (Don’t worry, they get together of course ;3c)
Their goal is to become a professional and legit band~
MMJ: Minori Hanasato (the newcomer but with extreme hope and determination), Hakura Kiritani (retired idol before joining due to guilt of failing to look after a member within her old group), Airi Momoi (also left the industry before joining due to the industry never seeing her as a real idol thus letting her always play the role as a fool), Shizuku Hinomori (was still an idol during the main story before quitting her old group to joins MMJ)
Their goal is to bring hope and inspiration to their fans and to overcome the struggles within the idol industry~
VBS: Kohane Azusawa (a shy newcomer but with immense talent in singing), An Shiraishi (her whole life is street music and is considered a prodigy due to her being the daughter of a well known musician within the setting), Akito Shinonome (got into street music when he’s in middle school, sort of the underdog within the setting), Toya Aoyagi (the son of a really strict and famous classical musician, he met Akito while running away after getting sick of being focused to practice constantly and thus got introduced to street music)
Their goal is to surpass this super famous street music Event called RAD WEEKEND, that the RADer (the group that contains An’s dad, Ken Shiraishi, Taiga Kotaki, and Nagi Kotaki) and other well known street music groups did a few years ago that deeply inspired An and Akito~
WxS: Tsukasa Tenma (Actor who wants to be a star but originally forgot why at first until he remembers it was so Saki, her younger sister, would smile and be happy), Emu Otori (the daughter of the popular theme park, Phoenix Wonderland, she also strives to put a genuine smile on people’s faces to make them happy), Nene Kusanagi (the singer who love musical and always dreams of doing one to bring joy, but she has stage fright that she struggles to overcome at first), Rui Kamishiro (the director who loves to build extraordinary gadgets and equipments to make the show out of this world to bring excitement and joy for those who would watch)
Their goal is to save the old stage play within Phoenix Wonderland and to bring smiles and joy to everyone~
N25: Kanade Yoisaki (Composer who’s determined to constantly make music to save people after she felt immense guilt when her father, who’s also a music composer, fell into a coma due to stress), Mafuyu Asahina (the lyrics writer and vocal mixer who originally contacted Kanade after one of her songs made her feel something, thus make music to try and see if she can still feel since she can’t due to her intense depression for constantly wearing the “perfect daughter” mask), Ena Shinonome (the artist who’s strive to be a pro artist out of spite after her own father, who’s a famous artist, told her that she doesn’t have the talent to be one and shouldn’t try and be one, but she struggles with getting validation for her art which is the only thing she has), Mizuki Akiyama (the editor/animator who cares deeply for the group and even considered them all their friends, but they are scared to tell any of them about their secret due to fear of being ostracized due to them being outcasted in school)
Their goal? Well, technically is to keep making music to save people, but in actuality it’s mostly them actually improving their mental health and help them with their issues/problems lol~
And the Main Story is all about the formation of all of these groups! With the expectation being N25, since they were already a group in the beginning of the main story, but their story is about maintaining the group after Mafuyu disappeared mysteriously for days.
However, that isn’t where the story ends! Oh noooo! Far from it! Within the game there are these Event Stories that continues the story of all the group after the Main Story!
These Event stories usually focused on one particular character at a time, but overall expands and continues the story/arc of all the characters! :3c
Thus there’s a lottttt of story content within Project Sekai! In fact, not even I have read all of them yet! @v@;
But from what I read, I’m really really loving it! Like! Sure the pacing be a slow burn, but the moments that the story be building up to is sooooo worth it!!! And like all the characters be having depth~
Oh! Also alsooo!
What I really love about the story is that the some of the characters have relationships/friendships outside of their unit group! Like An and Haruka were middle school friends who like to have contest in random things on who’s the best, and that knew each other since elementary school! Another example would be how Mizuki and Rui were also middle school friends that bonded over being both outcast.
There’s also siblings within the main cast with different dynamics! Like the Hinomori’s (Shizuku and Shiho), the Shinonome’s (Ena and Akito), and the Tenma’s (Tsukasa and Saki)!
And like the characters later get introduced and meet other characters later on in the stories! Like how Shizuku and Airi meets Mizuki for the first time through Ena (Ena and Airi are friends since middle school), and how An and Shiho became friends after bonding over their love and passion for music and how they value their friends/group so much!
Conclusion
Basically… Project Sekai is my current hyperfixations and I’m loving it! *w*
Of course I would still need to read all of the story since I’m no where nearrrr caught up! @v@;
But like, I’m having a blast so far! :Dc
Thank you for asking and being slightly interested in this game anon! ^w^/

Hi! I saw your posts about making a game, do you mind talking about how you learned/are learning to make games? I'm interested in getting into game development as a hobby, how'd you get started?
oh boy!
First off, I'm flattered you asked. I would not consider myself an expert by any means necessary, but I can write about my process and what I've been doing to learn.
Some background: I work for the Department of Education in the USA as part of a grant at a university. I love my job: it takes all of my favorite parts of teaching (I was a high school English teacher for 10 years) and removes all the parts I dislike (grading, parents, ect.). I get to help people, genuinely help people who need it the most.
That said, Trump won the election, and one of his threats was to eliminate the Department of Education. And it's a very real threat that six months, a year, four years from now, my job may not exist.
So, I've been looking into a possible alternate career path, as a precaution. Hopefully it's not necessary, but just in case.
I've always been interested in video games and video game designs. I've been an avid player of games since I was 4, and I've been playing video game RPGs since I was ten. I've been a dungeon master since 2011, and I've GM'd tons of games, making puzzles, dungeons, homebrewing monsters, ect.
When I was a kid, I would have told you my dream job was writing video games for Bioware. In some ways, that's still my dream job. However, one doesn't just get handed a job at a game studio to be a writer: you have to have more to bring to the table.
The thing that has always held me back is my lack of programming knowledge. Where do you start?
step one: figure out what you want to make
while this may sound easy, I found it complicated. I want to make everything. I wanna make RPGs. I want to make farming sims. I want to do X, and Y, and Z.
Right now, I have three projects I'm "working" on:
A stardew valley clone. This is my high priority right now. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel; I figure this will teach me everything I need to know to go further (basic combat, basic level design, night/day shifts, calendars, NPC interactions, relationship tracking, ect.) If I ever get to the point where I'm thinking of publication, I do have a unique selling point: in my game, you will have a magical pocket watch that can slow down, speed up, or even pause time.
A cozy zelda-inspired dungeon crawler. You have a party, you go into dungeons, you solve puzzles and fight monsters.
My big one: a Fire-Emblem x Stardew Valley crossover RPG. More on that when I get to it.
I've decided to focus all my efforts on the first one because, again, that seems like the easiest one to make/find guides for.
step two: find an engine
Games run on game engines. And there are a lot out there to choose from: Unity, Unreal, GameMaker, RPGMaker, Godot, Ren'py, ect. I've played around with all of them. I gave serious consideration to Ren'py because of it's simplicity. However, Ren'py is made for visual novels, and while it can have gameplay elements, I found it was harder to implement the game mechanics I wanted in Ren'py, so I moved on. I worked in Unity for a while, but Unity is so powerful that it ran sluggishly on my computer. Ultimately, I've chosen Godot: It is free, open-source, and it can do everything I want it to do, and there are lots of resources out there for it.
step three: make/find assets
itch.io is your friend. There are so many assets out there to use! If you are an artist, great! Make your own. But if you are just a hobbyist/just getting started, consider supporting an artist and buying assets.
here is a collection I've made on itch.io of resources that seem helpful to me if you want to check it out.
step four: ???
now you put it together and make a game!
Sounds easy? It isn't. But that's the step I'm on now.
in defense of AI
controversial subheading, I know, but I've also been using chatgpt to help me program. It's not perfect (in fact, a lot of the time, it is bad) but I've been treating it as a resource to help me learn. I ask it questions that I would ask google/reddit, and it points me to what sort of question I need to ask/systems I need to research. It helps make me, a total newb at programming, feel more confident in what I am doing.
Sorry, this got long. Hopefully it helps?

We got such a good reaction to last week’s “The Summoning” postcard teasing a graphic novel series that I thought it was a good bet you hadn’t read the interview with creator Elyse Castro that was done in 2017 by the Frederator development group.
frederator-studios:
Frederator Studios’ Cooper Nelson checked in with Elyse Castro, creator of “The Summoning,” the newly released GO! Cartoons short on Cartoon Hangover, to ask a few burning questions. Let’s see if her answers are equally on fire.
Elyse Castro created “The Summoning,” about Claire, a witch, and her cat Edgar, on a quest for a missing spell ingredient. When I asked her our usual opening question—“Where did you study animation?”—Elyse just chuckled.
“Can’t answer that one,” she explained, “I didn’t!”
Rebellious against the ‘usual,’ Castro, of Brisbane, Australia, is a prolific creative, with experience ranging from playwriting to comics to taxidermy—she recently gave blacksmithing a go. Below, she doles out the deets on “The Summoning,” and leads us down her windy path to cartoon-creating.
So what did you study in school?
I went to uni for theater and visual art, but halfway through got really into the culture of tattooing, and became a tattoo apprentice. My Catholic parents were horrified. I was a tattoo artist for several years, then cooled off it—partly because of a hurt wrist, partly because I was tired of people’s shit tattoo ideas.

I can imagine. So then what’d you get up to?
I was doing freelance comics, some fine art, but also studied to become a drama teacher. I was frustrated about the neglect of arts and theater education in Australia, and decided to quit harping about the problems and lend a hand to the solutions.

Do you enjoy teaching?
I love connecting with the kids. And it’s creative—I teach at an all boys school, so I often write us alternative plays to fit them better, like our own version of “Robin Hood”. It’s a lot of laughs—I love making people laugh.
Is that why you wanna make cartoons?
Oh yeah – it’s always been a big motivation for me. My biggest goal in life all through growing up, and even now, is to make my sister laugh. It isn’t too hard, she’s thinks I’m a riot. She ended up becoming a research scientist, while I’m an adult entertained by Yo Gabba Gabba.

I respect that. So then what inspired “The Summoning”?
Certainly my maniac cats [see Winston below]. And actually, a lot of experiences with my sister. Voices we’d use, stupid things we’d do. And some gross stuff. Like, the whole bit with the dandruff in “The Summoning” was based on a time that I picked a big flake of the stuff off her head. I remember it now, a nice, sunny day…

Aha, gross! Gotcha. What mattered to you while developing your own short?
I thought about what I wanted to see in a cartoon—I’m drawn to the macabre, odd stuff, like my taxidermy. I’m very crafty, always making things, which lends itself to a witch character. And tone-wise, I wanted to keep it real, even have nuggets of education. Like in “The Summoning,” I tucked in a great factoid about poo consumption in the animal kingdom.
Sounds about as educational as a Frederator show gets!
I still can’t believe I have a project with Frederator. It was my childhood dream to make a cartoon, and I’m a huge fan of Pendleton Ward and Natasha Allegri. I even got to work with Natasha, who directed “The Summoning”! I was fangirling, it was so hard to act cool.
What’re your favorite cartoons?
Definitely Daria, Ren and Stimpy, South Park, and Adventure Time.
So about the witchcraft stuff – dabble in witchcraft yourself?
Not really, but I’m very interested in paganism and witchcraft. I study it, love the history behind it. My friends and I mess around with tarot cards sometimes, but I haven’t gone farther than that… yet.

HI! I’m Sage!
I’m a current online artist. However I do writing. And of course I love video games, horror films, voice acting, and writing stories. Hope you all will join me upon my current journey as I grow! I hope you all will enjoy what I make! ^^
Here’s what I do here on my tumblr so far.
I don’t do commissions just yet because I think I need more time to get used to this, I am practicing animation so I’m sorry if it seems a bit weird and funky at first, I mostly make oc lore and character stories, I don’t do nsfw YET! I do have a twitter but I’m still working up the courage to post or do some in the near future if necessary, I do random uploads and mostly like doing character development and design.
Rules:
1. Be respectful and kind
2. If you make me uncomfortable I’ll tell you to stop, you have 5 warnings total if ignored all of them you are blocked
3. Feel free to ask questions or scenario ideas, they can be spicy.
4. Don’t pull me into drama or cause drama, if you do so it will only result in nothing good, and I will block whoever does, I don’t wish to cause anything unless it is a very serious issue.
5. No minors I interact with fandoms that aren’t for kids. If you are a kid I’m blocking you.
Favorite movies:
Real Steel
Ready player one
The Adam project
The Fall Guy
Favorite games:
Stardew Valley
Minecraft
Undertale
Fae Farm
Favorite genre:
Romance
Horror
Fantasy
Favorite Visual Novels:
Binary Star Hero 18+
The Kid at the Back 18+
Date with Death
And more 😊
Reason why I don’t tag big creators:
I want them to find me at they’re own will instead of forcing them to look my way, it’s almost like showing an art teacher you’re work and hoping it’s good for the grade… but yeah…… it also causes my anxiety to skyrocket. (Don’t wanna cause any bad mindsets in my brain again…. ;-;) maybe one day I’ll tag one without a problem but for now I hope you understand why.
I hope you all will respect my decisions and boundaries for my adventure onwards!
I have written a Binary Star oc x Ray
Named Mistin Malace! I have other oc’s as well! Each written fanfic has the previous part at the very end! Unless I decide to put it at the top hehe- anyways! If you’re interested! Here was the last part I did!
However if you’d like to see the Ao3 version of the Story you can! Here’s the link so you can see it!

A Trick and a Treat: Post-Release Thoughts
Hey everyone! Our short, free Halloween visual novel, A Trick and a Treat, has been out for a while now, so Sadie and I thought we'd share our thoughts! We posted this in a devlog earlier, but thought it would be great to get our thoughts out on here as well!
Some small details are spoiled about the premise one of the two short stories, Vamp Me!, are below, so you might want to play the game first. It's just a quick 20 minute read! Now, without further ado...
Post-Release Thoughts
First, Sadie's going to talk about her short story, Dead Letters! Take it away, love!
"Dead Letters is my tribute to 1920/30s style weird fiction. I find the kind of pulp, hard-boiled with a side of purple prose style extremely fun to write in. Probably the biggest inspiration for Dead Letters is H. F. Arnold's The Night Wire from 1926, a deliciously creepy little tale. If you liked this, be sure to check that one out.
The other big pulp inspiration is from that great font of inspired horror and insipid opinions, H. P. Lovecraft and his great early story The Statement of Randolph Carter. This is a style I definitely intend to revisit in the future. Like the opening says, Weird Tales is a problematic fave, but there's real magic in those yellowed old pages, and I hope I resurrected some of those old spells for you here. Happy Halloween."
Sadie DeForest
And now, I wanna talk about my short story, Vamp Me!
We found out about the Spooktober VN Jam pretty late. About two weeks after it started, in fact! But it sounded so fun that we had to make SOMETHING for it. We decided to do separate short stories as a sort of compilation title, and Sadie figured out hers pretty quickly. I struggled with my idea at first. Did I want to do something serious, or something lighter?
Some of the ideas I had included a darker story about a trans woman's dysphoria manifesting itself into a physical form, and a lighter story about a "cis boy" caught summoning a demon to "become a girl". I wasn't sure if I wanted to make something dark for the jam; to me, Halloween is something that's happy and fun, so I ended up going with the second idea. But it was still missing a key bit of Halloween spirit. This was where Girl Dracula came in.
Who is Girl Dracula? Well, she's actually a character I played for a tabletop game. When I thought about the idea I had, and replaced the "Summoning a demon" with "Summoning a Girl Dracula to trans your gender", it added a sort of playfulness that I felt was essential to the project. And so I wrote my first primarily comedic piece of writing! I was very nervous about it, but it made all my friends I showed the early draft to smile!
Some of you who've read Vamp Me might feel the ending was abrupt... but don't worry! That cast of characters is going to be making a comeback in another title we have planned, so stay tuned! ;)
That's about it! I hope that you give our little VN a read on a cold, windy October night, just as a little treat before bed. I think you'll find it'll give you both of those essential Halloween flavors; something eerie, and something sweet!
Crystal DeForest

a couple of months ago, i was working on a visual novel. i stopped working on it a week after i started just due to having so much other junk on my plate and my mental health, but i got quite a bit done on it. so, since it's officially six feet under, i'm gonna share al of the concept art for it :3
it was going to be an ironic and shitposty vn called greentext. it would star personifications of 4chan, reddit, discord and twitter. 4chan (otherwise just nicknamed four) would be the easily projectable protagonist, you would play as them directly. reddit would be the childhood best friend. she's super into mysteries and overanalyzes a lot of things. discord is the comic relief character with a sad past or whatever. he doesn't pull any punches when it comes to being funny. twitter is 4chan's older sibling, and serves as the voice of reason for the group.
the story goes that, a short time before the game starts, twitter goes missing, and the characters don't seem to realize it until it's well into the first chapter. four, reddit and discord spend most of the game searching for clues. in the end, it turned out that twitter's stepfather, elon, has kidnapped her and was planning on taking over the entire internet space, replacing everything with his x branding, starting with twitter. as you can tell, yeah, it was going to be very unserious. this is unrelated, but late into the game, there would indeed be a dating segment where you got to choose to grow your bond between either reddit or discord.
the characters were originally planned to have nicknames that sooorta sounded like their online counterparts, but i figured since i was making a game ABOUT these platforms, any form of subtlety about it would've been really stupid. also, instagram was going to be a character, but she was essentially just a more childish version of twitter and, despite the fact that i wanted *4* people to be a team in the story, there was no point to insta so i scrapped her very early on. here's some very early sprites that i was really close to fleshing out and using vvv
i even got as far as making music for the game. here's all of that.
this is four's theme. i named them after the characters and had the characters' personalities in mind, but in reality these are actualy just songs you'd hear across the whole game. this song was going to be scrapped anyway if the game was going to be a real thing because it didn't suit the feel i was going for, but it's still nice. it was intended as the sort of theme that would play at the start and end of each chapter, while four has some inner monologuing going, trying to figure out what's going on.
here's reddit's theme. it would be the sorta theme to play in "aha" moments, when something serious was finally solved and the characters could rest easy for just a sec. would've also probably used it during moments of comedic arguments between the characters.
here's twitter's, the only other character theme i composed. like i said while talking about tetracker, the music is themed around the characters, but really just pays throughout different areas of the game, even when the character isn't around. this song would play during tender, lighthearted fun moments. the kind of song that makes you think "this is nice"
i don't really have anything else to share about this, minus maybe some shitposts and ugly sketches i shared among friends at the time. (though, if you wanna see those, let me know!!) thank you for reading!!

BAILEEEYYYY guess whoo... its that damn anon again!!!
a little birdie told me you were planning on making a faux vn for CS and i think that is SUCHH A GREAT IDEA!! i think i remember another maplestory series back then did a similar thing where it had like, scenes intercepted between maplestory animations that were adjacent to visual novel scenes. im pretty sure it was nightscape by coffeeous?? either way, its definitely possible and would be super interesting to see!!
i also read that you used to want to make an RPG maker game with kiki and ana, and i think thats really funny because thats exactly what i wanna do with my OCs, too! also, fun fact, just wanted to say that danny sort of inspired me to make one of my main characters for my main story :P theyre both assholes with shoulder-length brown hair and i only realized the similarities after i made him LMAO. i made his middle name "daniel" to commemorate it, i hope thats alright with you
anywho, super excited to hear that theres now CS stuff cooking up!! wherever you take the story, ill be sure to follow along and support it wholeheartedly!! good luck man :D
Hi anon!! It's nice to hear from you again!
It's certainly possible that I've seen Nightscape but it would have been so long ago that I don't remember it at all LMAO. I think animeworldz21 also made an episode of... The Lost Voice? I think? That mimicked a visual novel style because it was easier and less time consuming to make and like. That's so valid GDJHF. Since I've left the maplestory community though, the plan with CS vn is to draw everything! Gonna draw a million sprites and backgrounds and make way too many CGs and I can absolutely see myself burning out because I don't know how to pace myself LMAO. I'm glad there's some interest in the project though!! I'm excited to start working on it.
People take inspirations from others all the time, I'm CERTAIN I've snagged traits from other people's OCs over the years without even meaning to, so it's totally fine if your character has some similarities to Danny as long as it's not like, a complete ripoff. I'm honestly honored that my guys inspired you... The fact that his middle name is Daniel in honor of my horrible man is pretty cool to me... I'm flattered,
I'm (HOPEFULLY) gonna get my new desk and computer set up today for real so I'll have a proper work space to start cookin' up CS stuff!! I have so much I wanna do that I don't know where to start but I will for sure talk way too much about it here LMAO.
#my brain is BUZZING with cold skin projects i so desperately wanna work on#hope u have a good day anon its always nice to hear from you#bailey musings#cold skin#asks

Oscars
Yesterday was the oscar so i wanna talk about it
1.-Sean baker
i love Sean baker, i remember when i first saw "The florida project" film, i was so excited and i really like the movie, but my dissapointment was when the oscars didn't award him for that masterpiece, so i think it was very fair to give him 4 oscars for anora. Anora is such a beatiful film that sees the world from the eyes of a vulnerable woman but even in the worst the movie would make you laugh or even grin just a little bc of the humour, is such a beatiful film and i recommend it so much.
2.-The performance (Lisa, Raye and Doja cat)
i personally love them, specially lisa bc i really liked her when she was in blackpink and i'm a big fan of them since 2017, i was so surprised when lisa start singing "live and let die" by Macca, bp and the beatles are two of my favorite things in the world and see them in the same sentence makes me so happy, about doja performance, i really liked, i was in shock when i heard her singing bc i always see her as a rapper, but this performances changed my mind completely and i really aprecciated her as a singer more than a rapper, and Raye was absolutely fabulous, her voice, her looks, her hair, EVERYTHING, i really think that she is the future of female vocals (also shout out to her album "My 21st century blues" is a hell of an album).
youtube
3.-Best actor - Adrien Brody
i really like "the brutalist" but in my personal opinion timothée should win, as a die hard Bob Dylan fan i really saw a complete unknown as a stupid film that is only for begginers fans (and also a day before i watch the other Dylan biopic "i'm not there" for the 3th time and i think that's why i didn't enjoy acu) but ngl timothée did a flawless performance, also i love his interview with Nardwuar where he is just expressin how much he love Bobby.
youtube
4.- best supporting actor - Kieran Culkin
AJSHCWFG9WEYUEJVN, MY BOYYYYYY FINALLY DID IT IOV3WIEUVB. I really love Kieran is like one of the nicest person in the world and i remember when i saw him in "Home Alone" (lol) it was my favorite character as a kid even though he only played an kid that piss, but when i grew up and i see him in "scott pilgrim vs. The world" i was like wow, bc Wallace is one of my favorite characters from Sp and i never expect see him as W.W, then succesion and i was really sure he should win an oscar, and when i see a real pain i was really, really sure he would win it, and now, seeing him winning an oscar for one of his best roles is awesome, is like watching your kid growing up only that he is more older than you, anyways love my baby girl.
5.-Best animated feature film - Flow
i was amazed that this was even nominated, It is truly a great achievement in independent animation and the visuals are just nuts, a 10/10 film, nothing more to say.
6.-Best cinematography - the brutalist
I mean, i really liked the brutalist, but nosferatu is just crazy, as a fan of the original novel, i think it captures well the vibes and atmosphere and i love Robert eggers works, such as the witch and the lighthouse, but i'm just happy that Emilia Pérez didn't win.
7.- Best international feature film - I'm still here (aun sigo aquí)
I didnt watch the film, but surely it deserves the oscar more than Emilia me la Pérez, a film that i really like from the same director of "i'm still here" is "Diarios de motocicleta" which is contextualized in 1952, Argentina, is a really good film and the score is just mind blowing, specially "al otro lado del rio" by Jorge Drexler, a singer-songwritter from Uruguay.
8.- Best original song - Emilia Pérez (el mal)
Everything was going alright 'till this fucking film win for best song, as a Mexican this is really an ofense how ignorant they were in the film and songs, it's unbelievable, i think "Never too late" should win, Elton John is not only an idol in music, but for the piano players and the lgbtq+ community, Elton is just an idol and seeing him realising new music feels like a dream, but anyways.
9.-Overall
I think the awards were good, good films like Anora had their space and it was very nice to see the performances, but after all, the awards in general are bullshit and we should not be influenced by them and enjoy cinema as an personal experience.
#oscars 2025#paul mccartney#kieran culkin#jesse eisenberg#blackpink lisa#raye#doja cat#timothée chalamet#bob dylan#a complete unknown#elton john#sean baker#quincy jones#james bond#Youtube#Jorge Drexler#emilia perez

Did you ever try or aspire to draw comics yourself, or did you allways see yourself as only writting them? Im just asking because I wonder about that mindset, because I understand it on economical and pragmatic terms - divsion of labour and focusing on ones talent, etc - but from the perspective of a naive kid, wouldnt one wanna draw it too? Like if comics appeal to you enough you wanna make them it seems one would want to make the drawings and panel layouts too. Idk, just asking cause Im interested in a different perspective, especially when I do get things like wanting assistens to actually reink and do all the uncreative busy work after one does the real meat of it so maybe Im closer to understanding you than I would think
(Or maybe its because in the west most comics that are "important" get written by a dedicated writter maybe except that Cerebus thing, gotta check it out and find out if Logo is right about it being good lol)
The last time I tried to draw my own comic book I was in the seventh grade. I didn't entirely lack skill or the germ of talent or even early preparation—my father is a visual artist and taught me a great deal in childhood—and I made some paintings and sculptures in a more abstract vein in my teens that I'm actually still proud of. But I could somehow never get life into realistically drawn figures and faces. Also, whatever impedes me mathematically prevents me from mastering perspective (i.e., not a shape-rotator, to use the old meme). Once I discovered I could do more with words than pictures, I mostly forsook pictures.
When I do write a graphic novel, I will produce the type of script that Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman write, which specifies the page layout as well as the content of the images. I have enough visual and compositional sense to be the one who wants to control the pacing. Unless, that is, I find myself working with a Dave McKean-level visual genius; McKean was correct to discard Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum script, written for 48 tight pages with a photorealist drawing style in mind, and turn it into a 100-page Expressionist nightmare instead.
I'm still taking applications from independently wealthy artists, by the way! The projected graphic novel will be called Kosmitora, a word from Homer meaning "setter-in-beautiful-order," also the name of the futuristic aestheticist state that will be the book's setting.

Assorted Thoughts (08/26/23)
got a bunch of random thoughts bouncing throughout my head lately that i feel like spillin in one post rather than multiple ones so ummmmmmmmmm
ive been acting a lot more responsible with my time lately, especially when sticking to my working schedules for projects. recently, ive been making a good effort to change my drawing plans about to make sure i start recording video stuff at a reasonable time instead of too late in the night / having to scrap said video plans cus its too late
having a webcomic has been a godsend lately for two art-focused reasons. on certain days i might feel too tired to do a full-scale drawing, so working on my webcomic acts as a good way to get something done that is still part of a big project but is absolutely not stressful nor super time-consuming at all to draw. second reason i appreciate working on it is that on nights when i DO wanna do more work at night, the webcomic is a great choice for said work!!
ive been playing Terraria lately and jesus christ this game is so much fucking fun, no matter how many years its been since i last played it (may 2020?). like,, for starters, my partner zajac has been playing it too lately so it has a sort of communal feeling as we play it at similar times these days. second its like,, the whole progression thruout the game's arcs / acts / ''''story'''' is so fucking fulfilling and fun and the grinding aspect is somehow relaxing as hell. i wish Minecraft had this feeling for me, cus i fucking hate going thru its survival mode honestly
i feel like im doing well since i started doing art digitally (2013) in terms of improving upon it AND experimenting regularly. lately ive been having fun messing with lighting a lot, doing it in a form of blocks in harsh alternating chunks. you can see it especially in the pieces i have uploaded of my characters Brady Bray and Celeste Mateus. sure, it's not '''realistic''' or '''clean''' but thats never EVER been a goal with my cartoony art.
making new characters AND writing down stories for them to debut in textually lately has been so fucking fun like oh my GOD!!! i can feel myself getting better and better at both, and using the new characters and stories to build upon the already established lore, factions, and older characters' lives has been great and feels correct as hell. also having fun dabbling with more characters of different real and fictional species alike!!!
i know it's been some time since my last music release (Jan 2023) or game release (Nov 2022) but like,, i need to realize that that is 100% OKAY!! things take time, and it's entirely reasonable that as the scope of my projects grow, so will the time to development them. its not a race, and id rather put in the longer time to make something shine than rush to get it out to stay relevant. one day at a time!! regardless, the current plans still are for my next game release to be the kinky text-adventure Hallowed Discharge and the music release to be the soundtrack for the semi-romantic wizard-focused visual novel Enchanted Bliss (which said game is slated for release after the former mentioned here).
i think thats all i can muster for thoughts rn, my head is about to asplode if i write anything else rn oops

btw the game so far, from my early ideas...
veryyy early, since this will take me many years (i need to up my art skills and learn how to make games properly throughout small beginner projects first, obviously, and i also wanna take singing classes to do the singing in it!!)
it will be about a wacky journey where you live as literally me, lay, and try to survive as a broke dyke journalist and wannabe filmmaker in a wheelchair trying to make it in the entertainment industry, and her lesbian love drama, with horror elements. it'll be partially a visual novel. and then really wild shit happens, and the player has to go through my laptop cuz lay in the game is DEAD?! and it's full to the brim with tumblr stuff and radblr politics and my friendships (that may be based on real radblr friendships btw :3) get really dramatic and intense, and the laptop is kind of haunted, and whoever finds my laptop pretends to be my friend by joining the nuancefem server. and throughout it all, the player learns about tumblr infighting, tumblr culture and the nuancefem/tirf movement. it'd be very silly at times, with toxic yuri love triangles and my bunnies still being in my apartment when the player finds me and my laptop but my bunnies KNOW MORE THAN THEY SEEM... and become the player's pets through their journey pretty much. so, yeah. i'm hoping to get funding in some way as well, i have several options for that! and either way it'll be slow and fun and exciting and satisfying in the end!! i love having lots of projects it energizes me so much <33 i won't start development until next autumn-ish at the earliest, probably more like early 2026. but i'm exciteddddd!!!!!! i'll be hiring various gyns for stuff to do with the game too down the line!
i'm gonna make a videogame. i have a concept and everything and people i wanna hire for it etc etc
and i've decided that once i'm done
i'll email it to brain david gilbert and polygon and see if maybe polygon would mayhaps hire me or collab with me on my docus once i've studying filmmaking etc etc. i shall do it for shits and giggles and as motivation for me to kick my sluggish ass into gears
that is my goal for the next three years
i'm going to also be presenting an animated series at some point in the next couples years with the networking i'm doing >:]
now i just gotta focus on work that pays til i can save up enough to have actual staff for my creative projects!!!!! YEEEEEHAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How to Stop Spinning Your Wheels and Write
First: mental health is real. If you are in burnout, take care of yourself because if you push yourself in burnout, you can prolong it. You might want to try some of these things to keep being creative during burnout, but don't force yourself.
Take care of yourself.
Try more creative outlines. I don't outline the way most people think of it. I outline with moodboards that nobody but me can understand, including main characters, relationships, side characters, and aesthetics. It makes sense to me and, when I look at it, I know exactly what I want each picture to do and say and why it's in the space it's in. If you are more visual, you can try that or a Pepe Silvia-esque string board. You can even try a playlist that is one song per chapter to convey the mood and repeat songs as needed. Don't take forever to do this; spend no more than a day or two and then get to writing.
Instead of a character sheet, writing the same scene from the POV of every character in a given chapter so you learn more about them. Character sheets can get some of us really in the weeds and we focus so much on whether or not our characters like punk vs classical music and certain fashion tastes that are ultimately not going to be on the page. That's not to say knowing these things are bad, but you can also get to know your characters by writing how they view each other and certain situations and by doing that, you also learn their motivations in each scene.
Just write 100 words a day of the project. That's it. Or a page in a notebook or 15 minutes of a sprint. Give yourself a small, reachable, tangible goal where you can see your writing grow. 'But I don't know where the story is going!' That's OK! It doesn't have to be perfect. You can write four pages and realize it's going nowhere and then cross it all out and start again. Pros do that, too.
If you're writing SFF, identify if you have Worldbuilder's Disease. What is this? It's when you spend all your time building a world for a story and you never get around to the story because the world isn't 'finished'. Tolkien didn't finish building his world. Last time I checked, GRRM never created more than 7 words of High Valyrian; David J. Peterson did for GOT. If you have Worldbuilder's Disease, make a checklist for what you absolutely need and if you have 75% or more done, you write and worldbuild on alternating days until you have what you absolutely need. By then, you should also have a better understanding of your characters and plot. If worldbuilding is your passion, you don't have to abandon it; but if it's stopping you from writing the story you want to tell, at some point, you do need to stop focusing on the worldbuilding and on the story.
If your perfectionism is the problem and you feel that draft one has to be perfect, this is going to be harder for some people than it is for others. For some people, accepting that draft 1 isn't going to be the end result is by calling it 'the shitty draft'. For others, it's by doing a draft zero, which I believe comes from screenwriting, and you write an unstructured draft with all your research and pants the hell out of it. For some people, that is draft one, for others, its a way to trick their brain into not putting too much pressure on themselves. Let yourself infodump in the draft if you have to. Get a cheerleader or enabler.
Get yourself an accountability buddy. Find someone in your friend group who also has a novel they want to write or a piece they want to learn how to play or a game they wanna finish, set a date for when it needs to be done that is reasonable, and check-in with each other. New Years' Resolutions don't work for most people, but cheering on a friend and them cheering you on and having someone who will ask you 'how's the book coming?' and listen to you when you talk about the best and worst parts of the week can be really effective to stopping yourself from going back to spinning your wheels.
Get a critique partner. Can be someone you met in fandom if you both are coming from the fanfic world or critique circle or a writing group in your area. If what you need is feedback, put yourself out there to get it.
Carrot method. If what you need is a treat, find a treat within your budget. Some people get a cupcake on Fridays if they met their writing goals four days in a row. Others treat themselves to a literary magazine subscription or a new hardcover book if they hit their goals for the month. If what you need to do is watch an episode of your favorite TV show after writing 800 words that night, do it. My personal variation of this is writing 500 words of the main project before I can work on other projects. Some days, I never get to the projects and others, I breeze right through and then get to do a whole short story I've wanted to write all week.
Fill in the blank method. My strongest points are dialogue and dynamics. If I forced myself to do internal things and description and sensory details down to the last detail on the first draft, nothing would ever get done. I give myself leeway and write the dialogue and dynamics and add the things I have to later. The more I practice internal aspects and description, the more I just do them, but I don't pressure myself. Pressuring yourself is not the answer.
Start in the middle. Starting is hard; many writers start in the wrong place, especially on their book. Some people do have a better sense of where a story should start than others, but some people have a better idea of what a strong finish is than others. Maybe your strength is the finish line. It's OK to write the last half of the book first and then add the first half. The first few chapters are almost always the chapters that are rewritten the most; that's why they tend to be the strongest and tightest.
