The feed ID doesn’t need to say anything other than what everyone else’s says, just name, gender, and…” She trailed off. She was looking at me and I was looking at her. - Martha Wells, Fugitive Telemetry

Wait, they're making another one? Oh-kaaayyyy... Not holding my breath, but hopefully it's at least better than the $h!tshow that was the second movie. (Even if that "version" of Silver is still there.) If it's any consolation, I don't know how much Sega is involved with the Sonic movies, but if it's a good bit, then maybe they can help out! At the very least, there's this amazing comment under the reveal teaser. (GOLDEN ISLAND MENTIONED)
Sometimes i thinks bout how my gen x parents took doctors telling them that that the anti-depressants worked by heling 'balance chemicals' in my brain so that it helped me be more happy or whatever as like... these meds will ALTER MY ENTIRE PERSONALITY AND THEY DAUGHTER THEY LOVE MAY BE GOOONEEEE OOOO~~~"
Not that they're horribly anti-med really, but as a young teen they would always be like "but... what if the meds are changing you :((" like. girl. isn't that the goal here almost-
i think having TF2 as a special interest really early in my childhood influenced so many things about myself and my identity.... my gender is big men my sexuality is big men and my sense of humour is big men. i even named myself after the "very tiny and scrawny but still big" big man and i think about all the big men in TF2 on a semi daily basis,,,,,, anyway yeah i like the men in TF2 :)
will you ever return, your art is a huge inspiration and i so damn miss it as well as the AU
ooc, don’t reblog. First of all Anon I wanna let you know this was my exact reaction upon seeing your message in my ask box
But yes! Similar to the last post here, I've been busy on top of personal circumstances and health that I've been a lot more slower posting content in general everywhere ^^; (so I've been mostly conserving my energy to at least manage my main art blog <3) I've also been side-tracked by my current main special interest...
Rest assured though I always have JND, Erol and my AU's on the brain. I plan to be active again here once I have the chance too! But thank you for the message it really brightened my day ✨
Hard for me to understand the hype of a 20 year old game you could easily play for free being remade to look a little shinier and will likely cost 70 whole dollars but I’m glad people are having fun I guess
It took me until today to realize that any Pokémon I transfer over from Virtual Console GSC will have their ball changed to a Poké Ball in Bank/HOME when I transfer them over. 🙃
Time to dust off Heart Gold so I can get some 'mons in Sport Balls.
I've been very much enjoying the Goncharov revival that's happening on here right now because let me tell you as a recent film major grad: film analysis professors HATE IT when you bring up Goncharov while they are praising the Scorsese filmography in typical film-prof ways.
Like it's always "oooh directorial intent, Scorsese is genius for doing this or framing it like this or having them say it like this". And then you say something like "oh I liked it that he had the cast do a lot of improv in Goncharov" and they 90% of the time start blabbering about Actually!!
But to my point, I fuckin love learning about improvised scenes and was super entertained hearing about Goncharov in that regard. Because there are so many quotes that were basically created by the cast doing a couple of takes, throwing the script out for a hot sec, and just vibing with it. And honestly, it makes it all the better.
For example, in the scene where Katya is in the standoff with Andrey and the tension is absolutely CUTTING and Al Pacino says the classic "See you in hell, bitch" and then fuckin Cybill Shepherd retorts with "Oh honey, we both know that's not where I'm going."
Not only is it iconic in and of itself, but it adds this whole layer on top that Andrey cannot have Katya, even after death. Because if you take it literally, he condemns her to hell while also saying that he will still be able to meet her there again. Ya know, the typical theme of a man punishing the woman he desires while also wanting to possess her.
But her answer crushes even that notion. He can't have her in this life, or the next.
And you cannot convince me that Scorsese came up with that himself after throwing Katya around without knowing what to really do with her.
i think i'll start final fantasy type-0 now !! going to do more nier replicant main story (aka onwards starting emil's mansion after i finish all the side quests ^___^ and all of them are just gardening so yeah)
