#pokemon #swsh #gym leader raihan #ft. flygon #had a vivid vision of this pose the other day and had to draw it. thats all thank you #I think after flygon's first appearance in anipoke whenever it comes up again the artists just go ''fuck it whatever''#and draw the legs however they want. it's basically a dinosaur in pmd #this is good for me bc I dont know shit abt fuck #flygon poses really well for how kinda awkward it looks on its own... but I also think abt like #duraludon being in the carwash. practically all the time its all I think about tbh #rest assured.#mim's infected me with the goggles vision I see raihan now I immediately wanna put a goggles on that man #they arent wrong tho. is the thing #is flygon an insect or a reptile.... the tail suggest something like a dragonfly but the neck doesnt seem to have #the shell structure that'd let it bend. thats at least skin #well. flygon is shapes. thats what it is. MERSKELES Part 2!

Some new guys based on a few requests, and I also cleaned up the last batch so I threw them in too

Some lore under the cut

So Blue is a dolphin! Very energetic, friendly, and social, just like Blue :> I made him a spinner dolphin in particular because they are a bit smaller than other dolphins, and just like their name they are very acrobatic and spin in the air!

Reaper is a blue ring octopus, I actually was going through a bunch of options for what I wanted to him to be. Thought about doing a box jellyfish for a bit because they also kill things they touch, but I reallllly love octopi so this species won out. Blue ring octopuses are extremely venomous, with enough venom to kill 26 adult humans within minutes, Ouchie.

Geno is an oarfish, a very long fish that lives deep in the twilight zone. I picked an oarfish since they are somewhat of a death omen, rumored to show up before disasters. Since Geno's constantly in a state of death, I thought It would fit. ALSO just as an aesthetic thing I liked the contrast with the red fins against the blue, thought the long fins on their heads really matched his scarf as well.

I love koi fish. I have a vivid memory of my grandparents having koi fish in their pond in the backyard. I was not born yet when there were fish in the pond. I remember them being orange and apparently they were

#I don’t know how I remember it #I’ve started collecting koi fish recently #my room is a little too teal and grey teen aesthetic #and everything is centered on my akko monet koi fish keyboard #so I thought I’d start adding some little koi fish #and all of the sudden one day I just like. remembered seeing those koi fish in the pond #and I was on the phone with my mom today and I’m like. were there fish in the pond in grandma’s yard?#and she said yeah. and I’m like were they koi fish? and she’s like well yeah #but I don’t think they were still in there after you were born #and I showed her a picture of some little ceramic koi fish. one was orange and she says yeah they looked like those #and I’m dead sure they were orange #and she says well maybe they were still there but they died so quickly and they were put in shortly after the pond was installed so Idk #and im like describing the memory and she goes well maybe you were alive #but I remember the pond always being there. I really don’t think I was born yet #my grandma who lived in that house recently died #and for whatever reason it’s only after she died that I could remember that. I’ve loved koi fish for years now so I’m not sure why I #only remembered afterwards.
