#when i tell you i hate venezuelans i have my reasons!
Note
ANY CREEPYPASTA SQUAD HC??!?!?
I left them out of my first head cannons post and hope someone would ask me this:
Randy
He has incredibly poor vision, but obviously does not have the access to an optometrist that one would need if they have bad vision
Now I’m not saying he’s a horrible cook, but I’m not saying he’s a good cook either- He does cook like a middle-age Dad who just got divorced and his ex-wife did all of the cooking. But he is trying, I’ll give him that.
Honestly, I don’t think he has enough emotional awareness to recognize when he’s being flirted with (not that I think that anyone would, I just think that’s an interesting thing to think about)
I’m thinking ethnically, Randy is American (Most likely British Roots, BUT LIKE THIS MAN IS AMERICAN)
You cannot sit there and tell me this man does not get up at the ass crack of dawn. This man wakes up before the sun and he doesn’t happily, maybe even willingly.
Bobby
He has stabbed Hacker, and would do it again.
Randy has given the other two chores, Bobby’s least favorite is sweeping and mopping the floors. He HATES it.
In online games, he instigates. If there is a fight, he’s probably the one who started it, but he’s not a part of it.
I’m not gonna lie to you he probably sleeps in the fetal position
He is American-German/Japanese ethnically
Hacker
As for hackers ethnicity, I’m not entirely certain, I would almost say American-Korean/Russian
This man was a college student who hacked someone, you can’t tell me he doesn’t walk everywhere. He prefers not to drive actually-although out of the creepypasta squad, for certain reasons he is the best driver.
He seems like the type of guy to own several pairs of crocs.
His middle name is James. (Theodore James Bradford)
He has a shellfish allergy
Bonus: Finch
When he gets up in the morning, without fail, he gets tangled in the blankets and falls off the bed.
His favorite drink is hot chocolate, he doesn’t really care for coffee, though he will drink it
In his spare time he writes, primarily history books and they are published but he writes them under a pseudonym
He is allergic to cats, not like deathly allergic, but like severe swelling yk?
Now Finch, honestly, is the character I’m most nervous about forming a head canon for his ethnicity for but here I go:
Most likely an indigenous culture, perhaps Navajo?
Venezuelan
German
Cuban
Creole

I feel kinda mad when people go poc fans defend zutara, I a poc and I don't defend it and I don't even know why I hate that statement. Like I know the ship could be good but I just can't stand the racist fans even if there is another part of fandom than isn't. Idk
Like I don't want to get labeled as trying to be woke, because I another white and I can speak from experience but also I don't want to go to all poc fans that make that statement and tell them I don't because it's just stupid to do that and I get they aren't the bad part of the fandom but I still don't like the statement???? Sorry
And poc already have lots of problems in the fandom, for me to go say that. but idk it really irks me that statement, like we are giving the bad tropes fans our blessing or an excuse to continue because we are defending the ship as poc and not just as a ship
Um... I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here, A, but nobody has ever said all POCs ship or defend Zutara, nor that they are obliged to do so. In fact, many of the fans that mocked me for my country's situation just because I shipped Zutara were black. Everyone in here is just standing up against that kind of people, who may not be racist, but they are xenophobic and selfish and that's still not a good look.
Back to the subject at hand, I (personally) have never said all POCs ship Zutara and for obvious reasons I never will, I'm just explaining how I and the people close to me — not even fellow fans, only my family and fellow Venezuelans — feel about topics like racism and colonization.
Venezuela is mad at the U.S. Nobody cared for us when we were only starting to "get used" to the oppression inflicted on us by our own government, and now their idea of "anti-racism" is a pity party chanting how oppressed we are by all governments?
Full offense intended, f*** you!
People realizes all that savior complex is still looking down at POCs, right? "Look at me, I'm running for Saint of the Year saving these poor people who can't defend themselves and for whom I don't really care, but I'm being the bigger person, certainly bigger than them 🥺🥺"
*rolls eyes in You Didn't Even Bat An Eyelash When My People Was Being Choked To Death On Live TV 🙄*
I'm not saying it is wrong to want to help others when you are in a privileged position, but caring about them is empowering them, trusting them, not reminding them of every godawful thing that happened to their ancestors and "canceling" your own skin color for it. Caring about people is caring about all people, and apparently that's not unconditional because the term seems to be "care about all people who agrees with everything you say exactly like you say it."
Why do you think POC Zutara shippers feel the need to defend themselves so much? The whole "If you're a POC and ship Zutara you're not a real POC" discourse, the one of "If you're a POC and ship Zutara you probably date your oppressors", the "Zoo people" one. The most interesting part is that white people came up with those because we, POCs, didn't meet their expectations. We turned out to be... you know, people capable of thinking for themselves 🤷🏽‍♀️
And maybe it's just that I (personally) am rebellious and stubborn enough to keep saying what I (personally) think. Nobody is forcing you to agree with me or the fandom, A. Everything I've written has been from my own experience in here, which I've lived carrying the values my Latine family has taught me about being proud of my heritage and standing up when people tries to put me down. If my friends who are also POCs agree with me, that's amazing! But I've never claimed to speak for them.
👏🏽Not👏🏽all👏🏽POCs👏🏽ship👏🏽Zutara👏🏽
And that's fine. Nobody has ever claimed otherwise, either. I'm always very careful to say "most", "many", "a lot" when I'm talking about the amount of POCs in this side of the ATLA fandom, no matter how repetitive it might be. (Or how redundant because I'm starting to grow surprised whenever I find a white Zutara shipper 🤨)
And throughout my experience in the fandom, I've only encountered... two racist Zutara shippers. One of them who apparently was a 12-yo, so I trust time to make them mature🤷🏽‍♀️
I'm not saying the bad tropes aren't still out there, but considering the amount of North, East, and South Asian Zutara fans, I'm pretty sure there aren't many to be found in these modern times. I mean, you could find the most prominent ones if you dig into the depths of FF.net, but... you will need a few days worth of free time for that.
And I would also like to know what is it that you define as "bad tropes" because there are fans of color who write dark!fics, capture!fics and more. Tropes can only be perceived as "bad" or "good" according to the writers and the readers own interpretations.
That said, the majority of the people in this fandom, or at least the most vocal ones, are just saying "Hell no" to the oppression the people outside the Zutara fandom is trying to inflict on them. But you don't have to do that if you don't want to.
You can just stay quiet and read the stories written by indigenous, desi, filipino, and latine Zutara writers; or see the art of the equal amount of indigenous, desi, filipino, and latine Zutara artists. I promise you they are really chill people, who are just not white and never will be independently of whatever ships they like or how much antis want to white-face us.

It’s horrible, I feel like a kid in a 🍭 store, Cornelian choice : 🏹 for Ronin 💔 for John 🔬 for Mac in what if I fall 🍄 your Mac in Wunderkid And you, what would you choose, because it’s not you’re « only » the writer that you don’t have to choose what you like or would like to write/read 🥰
This is SO late, but I hope the length makes up for it!
🏹 used for target practice for Robin (For clarification this is pre-novel when Robin is still with the agency that trapped him in a contract and the team who was using name magic to control him)"Staking a vamp isn't as simple as it looks on TV," Michaels says. Robin watches the man lay out a series of stakes on the table in front of the new cadets. "Okay, choose your weapon."The cadets by and large reach for the stake that most closely resembles the classic horror movie weapon, a rounded stick with a pointed end."And, you're dead," Riverdon says dispassionately. "That's an antiquated weapon that's as unreliable as a flintlock. Welcome back to the dark ages of hunting, everyone."Most of the cadets appear shamed into silence."She's right," Michaels says. "This kind of stake is almost never used in the field. It's only viable if your vamp is already so incapacitated they're not moving." He sets aside the handful of round stakes. "Basically, this is the kind of thing you tend to see most when you're taking it off vigilante hunters. In a pinch, if you've run out of standard issue weapons, making something like this might be a trick to fall back on, but I wouldn't recommend it."Riverdon picks up a long, flat stake. "You probably won't see this one a lot either, since it's never used outside of legal executions." She bends it forcefully, and the wood cracks. "It's narrow so that it slides between the ribs and offers virtually instant death, but it's also fairly fragile. Impractical for field work.""This," Michaels says, gesturing to a small pile of the third and final type, "Is the field stake." Robin is quite familiar with that kind, he's made plenty of his own. The stake starts out with a long diamond cross-section, but every hunter shaves theirs down to fit their own hand. Generally, the grip area is smoothed but with a wide section at the very end so that the hand won't slide off the end of the stake, the tip area is shaved narrow, and the middle of the stake has the wider-angled parts of the diamond shape sliced down. The result is a stronger stake that is still capable of penetrating between the ribs. "Knowing what stake to use is only half the battle," Michaels adds. "Since a vampire can only be truly killed by a penetrating stab to the heart, you need to know exactly where and how to strike, so that the stake bypasses the ribs and enters the heart." He glances at the assembled class, then at Robin. "There's no way to accurately learn the feel of this on a training dummy. You'll use them to test the force and pressure you'll need to use, and learn the location of the ribs, but for learning to hit the right areas of the body on a moving target, you'll need a moving target."Robin can tell some of the cadets are getting uncomfortable, knowing where this is going. But most of them look totally unfazed. "Who's first?" Michaels asks, and a burly looking guy steps up, picking up one of the stakes. "Alright, a vamp is coming at you, what are you gonna do?" Robin knows what this means. He fakes a lunge at the cadet, who sidesteps his movement and then digs the stake in under Robin's outstretched arm. Robin winces as the point of the stake jabs into his side. That was a hard blow. He can feel the broken skin, the faint trickle of blood starting to slip down his ribs. He bites his lip and glamours the evidence. There's still an hour left of this class. And causing trouble will mean a punishment so much worse than a few more overzealous cadets' stakes. 💔 broken promise for John He said he was never gonna use the kid's true-name. He'd promised the kid, he'd promised himself. And now here he was holding Robin's limp body in his arms, the true-name stinging on his lips like poison. He tries to tell himself that it was the only way. That if he hadn't taken control, he'd have had to kill Robin, and he couldn't do that. Couldn't hurt the kid even as his hands closed around John's throat. It wasn't Robin trying to kill him, but it would have been Robin who died when John slammed a stake into his chest. And he couldn't do that. Not when there was another way. That doesn't change the fact that the last thing he promised the kid before he was taken is the first thing John has done to him since they found him. He doesn't know all of Robin's history, but he knows enough. And using his true-name...well, he'll be lucky if Robin ever wants to look at him again. Still, the kid will be alive for that to be an option. He carries Robin out to the waiting medics. The kid is so light and fragile, he feels like he could shatter if John handles him too harshly. How he didn't see that the kid's heart is as fragile as his body John doesn't know. How he managed to ruin everything with careless words.Although nothing about today has been careless. John may not have known what he was doing when he turned Robin's true-name into a joke months ago in Maira's office, but he knew all too well what he was doing today. And he knew that if he lost the kid's trust forever, it was better than taking his life.So why does he feel like using Robin's name tore out a piece of his OWN soul?🔬 lab rat for Mac in what if I fall He shivers, wrapping his wings around his shoulders. If he's caught, things will be BAD, but he's just so cold. And then the door slams open. Doctor James stalks in, his coat billowing around him like his own set of wings. Mac jumps and folds his own behind him, hoping James hadn't seen."We are on a DEADLINE." James strides up to the head night scientist and grabs the collar of his coat. "WHY do I not have the subject's test results?""We...didn't run the tests. The subject is sick. Not functioning at optimal capacity. I didn't think you'd want to take those reports to the board.""Well, I have to take them something. How fast can you turn them around?" Doctor James asks."A few hours, if I push the night staff.""Get him out and do the tests now. Have them on my desk by morning." James turns to the cage where Mac is huddled, shivering and sniffling. "And stop playing with your wings. Those are tools. Not security blankets." Mac struggles to his feet when the cage door opens and he's pulled out. His whole body feels stiff and shaky. He's not sure he can stand, let alone fly. But if he fails, he'll be sent to the Basement. And no one comes back from there. He flexes the muscles in his wings, trying to warm them up. He can't fail. He can't. 🍄 poisoned for your Mac in Wunderkind Mac sets down his drink after a small sip. These fancy parties always have the worst tasting things. Mac guesses they're supposed to be for cultured, refined tastes. He'd take a beer by the fire with his teammates over this stuff any day. He hopes their target won't be too concerned about his lack of enthusiasm for the beverages. After all, the guy's here to buy a set of classified documents from someone he thinks is an agency sellout. He tries not to jump when a voice comes from his elbow. "Enjoying the party?"Damn it he really hates being snuck up on. He disguises his moment of panic before turning around. "I'd enjoy it a lot more if I had some cash to spread around and impress some of those lovely ladies." He makes a pointed nod in the direction of the bar. Riley turns around with a drink in her hand and waves. Pretending to flirt with her has never gotten any less weird. Especially not now that she's his actual sister. At least she's pretty cool with it. "You have the documents?""You have the cash?" Mac says, turning around. Or trying to. The room kind of feels like it's spinning. "Actually I have something better." The man's voice sounds like it's coming through a tunnel, and Mac frowns. "The antidote to the poison you just ingested." The drink. Damn it. Mac stumbles, leaning heavily on the stair railing to keep himself upright. Is it just the shock, or does this poison really work this fast?"See, I need a little insurance policy. I have someone who is going to verify that these codes are genuine. If he does, then you get the antidote. If he tells me you're setting me up...well, then, you won't live long enough for your little plan to succeed." Mac grits his teeth, reaching into his pocket for the papers. He knows his team heard all of that. Now he just has to hope they find a way to fix this before it's too late. And you, what would you choose... ⛈ bad weather for Riley in Pre-series WunderkindJack wakes up to the sound of rain on the roof, the crash of thunder shaking the ranch house, and the sounds of soft muttering from the room next door.He long ago stopped being able to sleep through the sounds of storms. He's learning not to be able to sleep through the sounds of his partner in distress. He crawls out of bed, grabbing his jacket from the chair beside it, and steps carefully across the hall. Momma's probably still asleep, no reason to wake her.
He knocks on the door. Startling agents, especially ones who are probably either in a nightmare or waking up, is a bad plan. Riley might only be as big as a soaked kitten, but she's got some scrappy fighter in her, and even with one shoulder out of commission she's not someone he wants to tangle with.
"Who is it?" The voice is shaky and a little wet.
"Jack. Can I come in?"
"Okay."
He pushes open the door and steps inside. Lightning flashes, showing the room in sharp blue and white relief. Riley is huddled at the end of her bed furthest from the window, blanket pulled up over her head. He can see the white of her sling and the shimmer in her eyes.
"Can't sleep either, huh?" He's pretty sure he knows what she's reliving. The bomb blast that threw her across a Venezuelan street...and killed two families in an apartment building. The first time Riley's been up close and personal for the casualties of an op gone wrong.
She shakes her head. "It's really loud."
"Yeah, this old house is anything but soundproof," Jack says. "You know what I do when I need to drown it out?"
"N-no..."
Jack grins. Another gullible one. He sits down on the bed and breaks directly into the first of the Metallica songs he knows by heart. He knows he can drown out the thunder.
There will be time to talk about the trauma. About the damage and the scars this job leaves in its wake. About how Riley is going to have to learn to live with the body count on ops sometimes. About how to move forward. But for now, he just has to make things a little better, get her out of the bad place in her head, because that's no place to be for the kind of serious conversations they need eventually. And from the way Riley is shaking her head at him and his singing, he's succeeding. Just a little. And that's okay.

ok, it’s Personal Story time
i was born in 1995, chavez pulled a coup in ‘92 & then became president in ‘99. my dad was in the Air Force of our country so trust me when I tell you i lived first hand chavez regime starting to corrupt the country’s armed forces, branch by branch. (before chavez, my dad said military members couldn’t even vote, & the air force handbook basically stated that they shouldn’t take political sides while on uniform because their job was to protect the country, its people & sovereign -- but without attachment because the president could change always).
during chavez coup in 92, my dad was in caracas but for some reason he didn’t participate in the militery rising even though other friends & ‘brothers in arms’ of him did. (my dad supported chavez enough -- but he was Very Vocal against ‘politicizing the military’; which is basically all chavez did).
so, basically. i grew up in a politics aware enviroment thanks to my dad. (also the pre-school i attended as a child was for children of military men & women)
my father, who remains the person i’ve loved the most in the whole world, made sure i wasn’t Dumb as i grew up & he always got me books on venezuela history. It’s one of my favorite subjects because we always had things to talk about.
I had a phase when I was around 14 that I thought the US was the best country in the world (I even celebrated july 5th & shit) & my dad saw this one day & he was like ‘oh nope’. he sat me down & we watched a documentary on the Black Panther party. I’ll never forget my father telling me “US may seem like a dream country but you must never think they’re good. Remember Bolivar’s words -- Bolivar dragged the US 200 years ago, basically--”. I’ve been trying to keep myself educated on every shitty thing the US does from then on.
In all these, I must mention that my mom -- a civilian-- has been working at the Air Force base of the state we live in, which is a border state, btw. So fairly to assume, my mom also had to be politically aware. & even alienated at some point (but she hates the regime guts & shes hated chavez since she saw him rise in 92).
Thanks to all these, I’ve had the privilage of being among the middle-class group, while my mom has sibblings in the lower class.
My dad died in 2012, a month after getting promoted to General and a couple of months before chavez did. My father’s position in the Air Force allowed him to be in a hospital & receive the treatment -- this wasn’t the same case for other people years later. Regular people, people not tied to the military.
So it boils down to that: I’ve had a very particular, very venezuelan experience, where if you have a family member in the higher ranks of the military, you get less hardship, and that shouldn’t be the case. We should all be able to live equally good in this country, without having to ‘side’ with the government.
A military man, an evil man, rose to power twenty years ago & under communist beliefs & violence he drove the country to the ground.
Whatever you read online or whatever you think communism is, I can tell you, wholeheartedly, is not good. Communism brings misery and ruins and only feeds the people in power.

17:20: Guess what George has been doing all day? Has he left the apartment? Has he brushed his teeth? Is he “out of commission”? The answer to all these questions, and more, coming up!!!
Not gonna “get into” what happened last night, feel like it’s a “breach of privacy” that I don’t want to do. Yeah, no, not going to. It was a really good night, though, what a turnaround for the day! Wasn’t expecting that in the least, was expecting something a lot… More dreary, I think. Dungeon World was engaging in a surreal way, like, I was having a ridiculous amount of fun playing that. Chose bard as my class, for obvious reasons, I think, and elf as race. Really looking forward to the next time we do this, felt distinctly “wholesome” and “creative” as a group activity. Left at 21h30 in order to make it to a metro station in time to meet up with someone to get drinks with. Was, like, wow. Was a good night. Still riding waves from it now, as I’m writing this update.
Didn’t jot down any timestamps for today, but here’s the answers to the questions I posed earlier:
-George has been studying all day. It’s disgusting and reprehensible and he hates it. But at least it’s cozy in his apartment; he’s listening to Glenn Gould play some Haydn (for once, hahahaha), and has been steadily consuming tea all day. It’s okay, I guess, in the end. It’s good that he even has a roof over his head and doesn’t have to worry about his next meal. He’s very, very grateful for that. He is grateful for not being sick, and for not having to always be on the lookout for physical violence. Yes.
-He HAS left his apartment! Sort of. Sort of, not really. He stepped out on the porch. For like three seconds. That’s it. It was kind of chilly. It was earlier in the day. It was in the morning. It was nice but then he went back inside.
-He’s not exactly “out of commission,” he’s just got a boatload of stuff to do. Midterm to study for that’s happening tomorrow, and another stats assignment that he just totally didn’t know was due tomorrow that he’s gotta plow his way through. It’ll be okay, though, he’s feeling strangely optimistic about all this work he’s put off.
17:38: Going to keep updating today’s post from here on out, didn’t include any updates before because, like, just been… sitting… in front of the computer, alternatively watching YouTube and trying to study… But, seems like a good check to just make sure I’m focused. Stay tuned.
Going to head out now to catch the last of the sunlight; the sky is so light today, like, baby blue light, and the sun looks really mellow and embracing and not harsh like it often is. Gonna maybe walk to the market across the street and buy some pasta sauce supplies, or something. Maybe some other “treats”? Mussels? French fries? Hmm. Mmmm. Mm. Yum.
17:42: Facebook group chat with Dungeon World “crew” really active right now. Phoebe asking if anyone wants to go to this Venezuelan place around the corner from my house. Even better. Way overspending on food but if I get the cheapest thing on the menu it seems like it’ll be okay?? Could “use a study break” now anyways, this is a good excuse to go outside. I like Dungeon World “peeps.” Smiling to myself softly.
18:39: Back at home. Phoebe “shamelessly stealing” my wifi (my internal words, meant facetiously, I’m trying to be funny, I’m not actualy begrudgingly doing this, lol) to do a work related call that she needed to do at seven. Gonna sit on bed and “stare at things on the internet” in one half of my screen, solve my stats problems on the other half. Dinner didn’t cost that much, like, ten bucks, thankfully; was actually pretty good, will probably go back to that place. Called Arepera, it’s right near where I live; I’ve walked by it so many times but just have never gone in. Need to start budgeting better to allow for more “restaurant exploration,” need to stop just wasting money on fast food purchases when I can just as easiliy throw something on the stove...
Chatting with Phoebe about incompetency of people, feeling extremely introverted, feeling further and further more resigned about “being alive” as we get older. Idly drinking the rest of the mate I made earlier, it’s stone cold now, “bone cold,” but still tasty. Usually never have caffeine this late in the day, but it shouldn’t be enough where it’s inhibitory towards sleep, I think?
20:00: Phoebe finished with work call. Leaving now to “go home and feed her cat.” Was nice idly working in my bed, actually, usually I really hate it when people are in my space but this was ironically focus-inducing. Told Phoebe I’d “try to study for probably another two hours and then just give up,” which is probably wishful thinking; probably won’t even make it another hour, but going to really “see what I can do.” Probably going to do my usual habit of sleeping early and waking up early tomorrow morning to finish the assignment, it doesn’t actually seem that hard this time, a LOT easier than the first assignment for some reason? Can also study for the midterm throughout tomorrow since it’s not until, like, four or five or something.
Before leaving Phoebe recommended an album by Mariya Takeuchi, a Japanese singer songwriter. I think it’s called “Variety,” or, at least, this song she recommended is on Variety originally, I am pretty sure, after some Googling? Apparently it’s a concept album about someone falling in love, getting married, separating, getting over the relationship. Sounds “right up my alley,” going to “listen the heck out of this” tonight. If any of you have music recommendations, please tell me too?? I am always listening to music like almost ceaselessly throughout the day and always want more to listen to, give me suggestions, especially if they’re depressing, or concept albums, like this one. Thank you in advance.
20:23: Little brother signed into Overwatch, I sent him a message asking if he had time to play a game, he said yes!!! These little gaming interactions with him make me so happy, I love voice chatting him and just playing a few rounds (or several). He seems inundated with school work so he can only play one game.
Overwatch inexplicably not launching... Seems really bad, getting a lot of anxiety, like, a LOT that I’m going to miss my “window of opportunity” to play with him... Going to try restarting computer, wish me luck...
20:45: Finished playing round of Overwatch. Went Zarya so our team had a tank, we took A site pretty easily, but couldn’t break through B. Brother had lag issues all game, I’m sad he didn’t have a better time, it’s always so frustrating to play with lag. Sad I can’t play more with him, feel “heavy hearted.”
20:52: Going to walk across the street to grocery and buy some beef jerky or something, and a can of beer. Feeling excited to wake up early tomorrow, going to take down notes on how to solve the rest of these stats problems but not actually solve them, shouldn’t take me more than an hour to complete this problem set.
Missing little brother a lot right now.

The 70 best phrases of Canserbero https://ift.tt/35TwfIo
This artist made it clear in his lyrics that a better future is possible.
In this article, we collect the 70 best phrases of Canserbero, a deceased Venezuelan artist and rapper, who composed mostly vindictive songs, social and also romantic.
As we will see, most of these phrases can be found in their letters. Many of them also have a poetic character. They deal with issues of love, oblivion, lack of love, emotions, social demands, death, injustices, religion ...
Who was Canserbero?
phrases of Canserbero
Canserbero was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on March 11, 1988, and died with only 27 years, on January 20, 2015, in Maracay, also Venezuela.
Canserbero was a rapper, composer and Venezuelan activist. Its original name is Tirone José González Orama. Through his lyrics, he composed rap songs of a vindictive and independent nature. His music became famous especially for Latin America and Venezuela.
Without further delay, we will know the best rhymes of this ill-fated artist.
The 70 best phrases of Canserbero
We will see the 70 best phrases of Canserbero, most of them present in their rap songs and in their combative lyrics.
1. I am not a gold coin, they taught me to be honest to believe me when the wolf comes out.
If we lie to those who love us, the day we need to be truly believed they will not.
2. And who does not die, only the one who forgets dies.
The people we forget are those who die, according to him, metaphorically speaking.
3. Love is that gun with which we all shoot at some time.
It alludes to love, which also makes us suffer, like a bullet.
4. Time heals wounds in an obvious way ... although no wound heals without scarring.
They say that time heals everything; Even so, the things that hurt us, even if we forget them or forgive them, mark us and define us forever.
5. We know people when we last see them.
Sometimes in a farewell, many things of the other person appear; many of them, essential things for oneself (or of vital importance).
6. If you don't sweep the shit today, maybe tomorrow you step on it.
Sometimes we must "make clean" with the past, that is, forgive, review, analyze ... to move forward and focus on the present. One of the most remembered phrases of Canserbero.
7. All we need is love
The theme of love is recurring in his songs. He speaks of love as a "salvation," or as the only important thing in life, beyond superficial things.

A Marathon Event
3:00 a.m. 2/16/17 In each of my six marathon reading events at FSU, I have been asked two questions: "What is this?" "Why do you do it?" I can thoughtfully answer both. This year, however, I was struck dumb for a little while by a new question: "Why are we reading to no one?" Often in the 24 hours or more of a marathon reading on a university campus for which I have only recruited readers and not listeners, we technically "read to no one." People wander in and sit for a bit and people wander away. Some students with a strong conscience sit while they eat the cookies we offer. Some friends come to support a particular reader. But no one ever comes to listen to the story, really. At least not in the past. In the past the story was too long. So initially I had no answer to "Why are we reading to no one?" because it was not a question that had ever occurred to me. The person who asked this question that threw me was a volunteer reader who came, saw the room, asked the question, and left without reading. I thanked the reader for volunteering anyway and then sat so that I could be read to for hours. In the wee hours, when readers are temporarily non-existant, I have built an answer for my colleague about why we "read to no one." It is really two different answers, one for the novel marathon and one for the tale marathon. We read to no one in a novel marathon to get through. We are, after all, a part of a relay team. We do our part to move our team closer to the goal of finishing the entire novel. Metaphysically, we read to put the words into the public sphere so that they cascade across the ears and minds of those in the library who can't help but hear us. We remind them that words are beautiful, even out of context. We remind them that stories matter enough that a whole group of people will change their schedules and some will lose sleep in order to read a powerful story out loud to themselves and each other. An answer that applies to both marathons is that we can never actually read to no one. We are always listening to ourselves and words sound different aloud; ideas travel at different speed and in different keys; our chests and tongues and vocal chords actually embody the words and the words then become a physical part of us. For this year's tale marathon my first response to this question should have been that I would be listening and I am not no one. Beyond that, other readers come and listen. Librarians come and listen. New readers, not yet signed up, come and listen. We take our chances and hope someone arrives while we read and we catch their attention. We read aloud because we want to and because these tales are ordained for oral reading. I also know that theatre and speech students come and read to practice their craft. Students who hate reading aloud come to conquer their fears. Some read to allow their sports team to support the event and others read for extra credit. None of those reasons require an audience other than the self. I am open to the idea that tales read aloud might demand an audience in ways an epic novel read aloud does not, for truly the audience's experience is different. One can wander in and hear an entire tale in a short amount of time. Stay for a bit longer and one can hear three or four entire tales. Because we are not rushed to complete an enormous quantity of reading, and because new listeners are not constantly coming into the middle of something, there is often conversation after tales and explanations before. We hear why someone chose a tale and we exchange what we know about other stories that are similar or contradictory. We tell tales about our telling of tales to other audiences and how they reacted. And tonight we became a group participant in a tale through call-and-response. In a right world, I would host two marathon reading events every year at FSU: one in the fall for an extravagant novel and another in the spring for stories readers select to share. Tonight I have heard a Venezuelan creation tale in Spanish read by the Panamanian son of a Venezuelan mother. I have sung in response to a Yoruba tale told by a Yoruba Nigerian. I have listened to an African American woman sing and dance while she told about Brer Rabbit and the Tar Man. I have listened to a white woman growl in an ogre's voice and another offer up her Irish brogue. I have heard feminist tales, environmental tales, trickster tales, and Herodotus histories made up of oral stories. I have been graced to sit for hours and hear cultures and languages find welcome and offer welcome. I have heard strangers talk excitedly about each others' stories, and I have collected a long list of folk who thanked me for the opportunity, want to do it again next year, and promised to bring folks with them. Stories for me in this event - both as novels and as tales - have always been about community. They draw us together, give us shared a experience, help us see our fears, failures, and foibles in someone else, and show us again and again that resilience is possible and transformation necessary. In the very acts of risking ourselves to read for others, listening carefully to tales not from a childhood like ours, and exchanging ways our stories might fit with someone else's we become community. I am not sure stories can actually be read to no one. I am sure that I will always find new value in words heard from my own voice, felt across my own tongue, vibrating through my own bones. So sign me up for next year. I welcome the stories. I welcome the readers. I welcome the community no matter how large or how small.
