Hi! Are you going to watch the sood kr remake? Sorry to bring it up, I just saw a still on my dash and I’m cringing lol. Despite being a jyb fan, I’ve already decided not to. I just don’t think a remake is necessary - the original drama was already a masterpiece and the movie was excellent closure (I loved it, can’t wait for you to see it).

One thing I can say for sure is that I won't be watching it anytime soon. One of the main reasons being that I simply want to avoid the whole 'which is better' discourse that will inevitably be surrounding it. My heart is fragile when it comes to seeing my favorites getting dragged down, haha.

Also, just like you, I don't feel the need for SOOD's story to be retold as of now. And I don't think I'd be able to see anyone playing these characters other than Alice, Greg and Patrick yet. Maybe I'll feel a different way once I've gotten closure by watching the movie (lucky you! :')) or in a few months/years. Maybe I won't ever feel like watching the remake. But yeah, the only thing I'm set on is not watching it for at least a couple of months after it's out.

[Also, I'm not the biggest fan of AHS as an actor so him being cast as LZW/WQS definitely doesn't help me find the will to give the remake a try. Even though I really liked JYB in Be Melo.]

Something I feel like I've only ever seen once and in a fanfiction that I think ought to be implemented in more 'I'm from the future' plots is when the character from the future just casually Knows Shit about the people they're interacting with that they think is common knowledge when in reality not even the people they're knowing shit about have figured that shit out at this point in the timeline.

A fun idea that's close to my heart is a character from the future knowing someone has DID/OSDD and just adresses an alter by name when they notice and everyone just... kinda tuuuurns to the Future Character who assumes this is because they clocked who was fronting wrong and goes, "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm used to clocking that the way y'all are like in the future. Who's fronting right now?"
