I think it's high time people should recognising Ishan Kishan a seperate individual from Shubman Gill. Shipping Ishman is good..I ship them too. But now at a time where Ishan needs recognition for his game. Like things are getting out of hand now.
I love Shubman Gill but Shubman gets out on a duck and there are 2 units of people one hating him as overrated but there also exists a strong fanbase hailing him for his previous performance and supporting him in those downs. And he gets a chance to even after his duck.
On the other Ishan Kishan the fastest batsman to hit a double century and someone who saved us from humiliation in Ind Vs Pak match. He hit 2 back to back 50s against recent IND VS AUS T20. Gets out on 0 in the 3rd match and now he is bullied for his strike rate and shit. Strike rate should be compared between players who got equal chances. Not someone who played back to back and someone who was benched after their 1 bad and 10 good performances.
So it's time for his fanbase to see him more as a player than just a happy little child who has a too cute bond with his best friend. He has become just a joker for the team who entertains them when the mood is low. I don't know if this message really helps the situation but just putting it out there

Shattered Bonds
The room was dimly lit, heavy with the weight of defeat. Shubman Gill, disheveled and lost, found solace in the corner of his room, his anguish palpable. Silent tears streamed down his face as he replayed the moment of his dismissal in his mind, the four runs that felt like an insurmountable mountain of failure.
The post-match ceremony, usually filled with jubilant cheers and celebrations, now stood in stark contrast — a somber affair where the clinking of medals felt like a distant echo. Shubman, curled up, his phone switched off to shut out the outside world, was drowning in the depths of his own despair.
"Hum match mere vajhse hare hai..." he whispered to himself, the weight of responsibility pressing on him like an unbearable burden. The room echoed with the haunting silence of his thoughts.
Amidst the heavy atmosphere, the door creaked open, casting a sliver of light into the room. A shadowy figure entered, and the air shifted. Ishan Kishan, recognizing the depth of Shubman's pain, sat down in front of him, his presence both comforting and understanding.
"Shub," Ishan's voice, deep and soothing, cut through the silence. Shubman looked up, his eyes red and puffy, mirroring the emotions that lay beneath the surface.
"Ishan...hum haar gye," Shubman uttered, the words catching in his throat. The admission hung heavy in the room, a shared understanding of the collective agony that enveloped them.
In that moment of vulnerability, Ishan reached out, placing a hand on Shubman's shoulder. No words were spoken, but the touch conveyed a silent promise of support and shared pain. The room, though still heavy with defeat, now held a glimmer of connection.
As they sat in the dimly lit room, the silence between them became a bridge for unspoken emotions. It was a moment of shared grief, an acknowledgment that victories and losses were woven into the fabric of their journey. And in that shared vulnerability, the seeds of resilience and camaraderie were sown, promising a way forward from the darkness of defeat.
The room echoed with the intensity of Shubman's emotions, as Ishan's comforting touch failed to immediately quell the storm raging within him. Shubman, still raw from the loss and consumed by his own self-doubt, pushed Ishan's hand away.
"Ishan, you won't understand. You weren't out there on the field," Shubman's voice quivered with a mixture of frustration and pain. His eyes bore into Ishan's, searching for a comprehension that felt elusive.
Ishan, undeterred, maintained his gaze, a silent invitation for Shubman to share his burden. "Shub, I might not have played in the eleven, but that doesn't mean I can't understand what it's like to yearn for victory," Ishan spoke with a calm determination, his empathy unyielding.
But Shubman, caught in the grip of his own turmoil, erupted in a burst of pent-up emotions. "You don't know what it's like to carry the weight of a million expectations, to be in the playing eleven and still fall short. You weren't there when I needed you the most," Shubman's words cut through the air, carrying the sharp sting of bitterness.
Ishan, sensing the escalating tension, chose his words carefully. "Shub, I might not have been on the field with you, but I've seen the sacrifices, the hard work. We're in this together."
The argument unfolded like a tempest, the air thick with charged emotions. Shubman's frustration collided with Ishan's attempt at understanding, creating a volatile atmosphere. Voices rose, each word a weapon in the battlefield of emotions.
"I don't need your sympathy, Ishan! I needed a win!" Shubman's voice reverberated, the echo of unfulfilled dreams resonating in the room.
In the heat of the moment, Ishan's patience reached its limit. "You think you're the only one who wanted to win? We all did! But blaming each other won't change the outcome. We have to rise above this together."
The room, once a sanctuary, now felt like a battleground. The heated exchange continued, the echoes of frustration bouncing off the walls. Yet, within the clash of words, there lingered a desperate plea for understanding, a shared pain that bridged the gap between them.
As the argument reached its crescendo, a heavy silence settled, leaving both players breathless. In that quiet aftermath, they stood on the precipice of reconciliation, the emotional tempest subsiding, paving the way for a deeper understanding to emerge.
The room crackled with tension as Shubman's frustration reached a boiling point. "Ishan, just leave me alone! You don't get it. I blame you for this. Your presence, or lack thereof, affected my performance out there," Shubman's accusation hung heavily in the charged atmosphere.
Ishan's expression hardened, hurt flickering in his eyes. "Blame me? Shub, don't act like I'm the reason for your struggles. You were out there on the field, not me. Own up to your mistakes instead of pointing fingers."
Shubman's eyes flashed with anger. "Own up? You don't understand the pressure of being in the playing eleven. You were sitting comfortably on the bench, while I faced the heat. Your absence on the field felt like a void I couldn't fill."
Ishan, feeling the weight of Shubman's words, shot back, "And you think I don't feel the weight of not being there when the team needed me? You're not the only one who wanted to win. We all did, and we all feel the sting of defeat."
The verbal sparring intensified, each word a sharp arrow aimed at the other's vulnerabilities. The room, once a refuge, became an arena for their heated exchange.
"You're quick to blame, Shub, but maybe if you had performed better in the final, we wouldn't be having this conversation!" Ishan's retort cut through the air, the accusation hanging between them like a heavy fog.
Shubman, his face contorted with a mix of anger and hurt, shot back, "Oh, like you're the epitome of success! Your absence didn't make a difference in the final, and your presence wouldn't have changed the result. We lost, and we all played a part in it."
The words hung in the air, a bitter acknowledgment of shared failure. The room, now a battleground of conflicting emotions, echoed with the residue of their heated exchange. In that moment, the friendship that had weathered triumphs and defeats teetered on the edge, caught in the crossfire of blame and frustration.
The tension in the room was palpable as Shubman's frustration boiled over, his emotions spilling out in a torrent of hurtful words. "Ishan, you're my bad luck," he lashed out, his voice tinged with bitterness and resentment. "I hate you!"
Ishan's heart plummeted at Shubman's words, his breath catching in his throat as if he had been physically struck. His eyes widened in disbelief, betraying the pain that welled up inside him. For a moment, he stood frozen, the weight of Shubman's accusation crushing him with its cruel honesty.
Shubman watched Ishan's reaction with a pang of regret, his own anger dissipating in the face of his friend's visible anguish. But before he could retract his words, Ishan turned away, his shoulders hunched in defeat. With each step he took towards the door, the distance between them widened, an unspoken chasm of hurt and betrayal.
Alone in the wake of Ishan's departure, Shubman's resolve crumbled, replaced by a flood of remorse. Tears welled up in his eyes as he sank to the floor, the weight of his own harsh words crushing him with their brutal truth. "Ishan, wait," he choked out, his voice thick with unshed tears, but it was too late.
Outside, Ishan walked with purpose, his steps echoing in the empty corridor like a dirge for their shattered friendship. Tears streamed down his cheeks unchecked, his emotions laid bare for the world to see. The pain of Shubman's betrayal cut deep, leaving behind a raw wound that throbbed with every beat of his broken heart.
Back in their room, Shubman's sobs filled the silence, a haunting lament for the friendship he had so callously discarded. "I'm sorry, Ishan," he whispered into the empty space, his voice choked with regret. But the words fell on deaf ears, lost in the vast expanse of their fractured bond.
As Shubman's harsh words echoed in the room, Ishan felt a surge of pain that seemed to emanate from the very core of his being. His eyes, once filled with warmth and camaraderie, now reflected a profound hurt as he turned away, the weight of Shubman's accusations sinking deep into his soul.
With measured steps, Ishan walked out of the room, his expression a mask of emotional numbness. The corridor seemed endless, stretching before him like an abyss of unanswered questions. As he made his way to the terrace, he whispered to himself, a voice barely audible above the echoes of their shattered friendship.
"I can't hate you, Shubie," Ishan murmured, his voice filled with a mix of anguish and resignation. Each step felt heavy, burdened not just by the weight of Shubman's accusations, but also by the unspoken truth that lingered between them. He couldn't bring himself to hate the one person he had held close to his heart.
On the terrace, Ishan stood alone, the city lights below flickering like distant stars. The emotional turmoil within him finally broke through the stoic facade. Tears streamed down his face as he wrestled with the conflicting emotions of love and betrayal.
"I can't hate you," Ishan repeated, his voice breaking with the weight of his unspoken feelings. "Not when I love you, Shubie." The admission hung in the air, a fragile echo of the love he had kept hidden for so long.
As the night sky witnessed Ishan's silent turmoil, the tears continued to flow. Love and hurt entwined in a complex dance, and the terrace became a sanctuary for a heartbroken soul, grappling with the pain of shattered expectations and the silent ache of unrequited love
As tears streamed down Shubman's cheeks, he felt the weight of his own words crushing him with an unbearable heaviness. The realization of what he had done, the pain he had inflicted on the person he cherished most, cut him to the core. His chest tightened with the agony of regret as he sank to the floor, the sobs wracking his body.
"I've hurt him," Shubman whispered to himself, his voice choked with emotion. Each syllable felt like a jagged shard of glass tearing at his already shattered heart. He had wounded not just a friend, but the person he loved more deeply than he had ever dared to admit.
The memory of Ishan's hurt expression haunted him, a ghostly reminder of his own betrayal. How could he have been so blind, so reckless with the feelings of the one person who meant everything to him? The tears continued to flow unabated, a silent plea for forgiveness that echoed in the empty room.
"I'm sorry, Ishan," Shubman cried out, his voice trembling with anguish. But the words felt hollow, insufficient to mend the rift he had created between them. He had let his own insecurities and frustrations drive a wedge between them, and now, he was paying the price.
As the weight of his remorse bore down upon him, Shubman longed for the chance to make things right, to bridge the chasm that had opened up between them. But deep down, he knew that some wounds ran too deep to be healed with mere words. All he could do was pray that Ishan would find it in his heart to forgive him, and that their bond would prove strong enough to withstand the storm.

" I don't want you back "
- Ishan Kishan
-----
" Hope to see you—"
"Never"
-------
A story of Shubman Gill and Ishan kishan where you meet the right person at the wrong time.
------
Ishan Kishan, a 21 year old University  student. He is the captain of his cricket team. The whole college is fan of him, especially girls who are head over heels for him and his hotness.
Sadly for all those girls, he is in a relationship with the president of musical group, Aditi Hundai. They both have been in a relationship of 2 years. Aditi is his only family as he is an orphan. But her family also treats Ishan really well and never let him feel like an orphan.
Ishan also works as a part timer in Mc Donald's to earn some money and has taken admission in one of the best colleges of India through sports quota which gave him a bit of recession in his fees.
Meanwhile Shubman gill, 27 year old. The most feared mafia in underworld. He has a sister Shahneel gill. He killed his own parents one day by setting his house on fire when he was merely 10 years old. His sister took the blame and was sent to juvenile meanwhile Shubman sent to an orphanage as none of his relative decided to took him in.
He used to love cricket when he was a child but being short on cash, him and his sister couldn't afford any cricket kit.
He have one bestfriend, Abhishek Sharma who knows all of his deepest and darkest secrets, both of them can do anything for each other.
----
"Baby wake up"
"Just two more minutes" I whined.
"You have been saying that since the last ten minutes" My husband chuckled.
"I am not feeling well please let me sleep." I murmured pulling the sheets above my head.
"What happened? Are you having a fever?" My husband asked in concern. He pulled the sheets off my face and touched my forehead.
"Your forehead is burning. Why didn't you told me sooner? Let me get you medicine and something to eat." He said getting off from bed but I pulled him closer.
"Please don't leave. I want to cuddle with you."
"Sweetheart I am not leaving you. I am just going to get you medicine so your fever can go away." My husband said and showed his dimple smile. His smile always makes my heart flutter.
He kisses my cheek and gets up fro  the bed and this time I didn’t resisted.
"I am not going anywhere and will be here in no time." He repeated before walking out of the room.
I looked at his retreating figure and smile lightly.
He loves me so much. I love him too.
Sometimes it reminds me of the time when I used to hate him and never wanted to see his face but look at me now being head over heels for him and never wanting to let go of him.
Oh btw I forgot to tell you all my name. I am Ishan Kishan and he is my husband Shubman Gill.
You know 5 years before if someone had told me I would willingly marry a man and that too the world's most feared mafia, I would have laughed at them. But look at me now. My whole world revolves around this man and we are planning to adopt a child also.
Do you all want to know how I ended up with him?
Then let's start from the starting. It all started when...

Crafting the Signature Move: A Collaborative Effort
Sachdeva reminisces about the exciting moment of creating the famous dance step. Imagine being in a room with Bobby Deol, feeling the nerves, and then crafting a dance move together! It was a very exciting moment; a lot of people were there, and Bobby himself was there in the room. He was looking so handsome in his white shirt; I was so nervous.
From Exercise to Dance: A Spontaneous Transformation
Discover how a simple exercise routine turned into the unforgettable dance step. Sachdeva shares how he got into the groove and spontaneously created a move that lingers in everyone's memory. I just came inside and started doing my exercise there that I regularly do to get me into the moment. I started asking myself, how do I feel? I kept answering till I reached the cameras. Then I realized that I was not listening to the music which was playing in the background. I looked at them (Sandeep and Bobby), and they were talking about the step.
Organic Virality: No Choreography, Pure Fun
Sachdeva reflects on the step's unexpected viral success without the need for a choreographer. The charm lies in its simplicity, making it enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or dancing skills. I never expected ki yeh aise viral hojayega. I don’t want to disrespect anyone, but thank God koi choreographer nahi tha iss gaane ke liye. Koi bhi agar halka sa bhi move kare, a child or an elderly person, ispar acha hi lagta hai. The natural and organic vibe of the song makes it beautiful. A simple move which anybody can do, and you can create your own move as well. I never even thought ki vo music itna viral hojayega.
Animal's Triumph: Sachdeva's Take
As Animal continues to break records, Sachdeva shares his thoughts on the film's overwhelming success. He expresses gratitude for the positive response and talks about the unexpected journey. The response has been very beautiful and powerful. People are enjoying it; they are loving my performance also. I am grateful for what’s happening right now. Peeking into the Future: The Animal Park Sequel?
Is there a sequel to Animal in the works? Sachdeva gives us a sneak peek into the possibility and his anticipation for what lies ahead. I had a little bit of an idea, but didn’t know for sure. When I was talking to producers, they were not sure where we were going to go. Sandeep (Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga) sir had said that possibility hai, but let’s see how it goes first. When I saw ‘coming soon’ in the hall, that’s when it was confirmed for me. I am waiting, I hope I’m there. That has happened to me in Sacred Games also, sabne bola tha mere character and Kukoo par next season hoga, writing started and I was excited, but then nothing happened, so I was like, ‘Whatt?’ Now, I am not waiting for it, let’s see.

Former all-rounder's significant statement, saying - calling India underdogs is wrong, we have won three World Cups
Yuvraj Singh, the hero of the 2011 World Cup, believes that Team India will definitely qualify for the semi-finals of the upcoming World Cup. Yuvraj Singh, who reached the Vicks Chair Anthem program for the upcoming global tournament, said that it is wrong to call Team India underdogs because India has won three World Cups.
Tumblr media
Yuvraj Singh, the hero of the 2011 World Cup, believes that Team India will definitely qualify for the semi-finals of the upcoming World Cup. Yuvraj, who attended the Vicks Chair Anthem program for the upcoming global tournament, said that it is wrong to label Team India as underdogs; after all, we have won three World Cups. Sukant Saurabh had a special conversation with Yuvraj Singh about the upcoming World Cup, and here are the main points: Is there any particular area in the current Indian team that needs special attention? - I think our team had less game time; we haven't played many ODIs because T20 is more prevalent now. The good thing is that all the middle-order batsmen are in form. Surya Kumar Yadav is in form, Shreyas Iyer has returned to form, KL Rahul scored a century after recovering from an injury, Ishan Kishan has been performing consistently for a long time; this is a very positive sign. It's a headache for the captain and coach to decide who to play and who to bench. Jasprit Bumrah has made a comeback at the right time. So, I think our combination is good now. However, we need to prepare a balanced combination in the first two or three matches. We also need to see if we'll play an extra spinner or a fast bowler based on the pitch conditions. In the last three ODIs we played against Australia, all the pitches were flat. Will we see similar pitches in the World Cup? - I think we will see such pitches, and there will be high-scoring matches. Another thing is that grounds in India are relatively smaller. Now, with the new rule where five fielders are allowed inside the 30-yard circle and two new balls, it benefits the batsmen more. Certainly, all matches will be high-scoring, and in matches where there's a low score, I believe we have bowlers who can defend it. Since 2011, no country that has hosted the World Cup has become the champion. Can we continue what we started? - According to me, we shouldn't take that kind of pressure. If you want to win the World Cup, you have to defeat every team. You have to become the best team. If you look at the 1983 World Cup, we defeated the best team, West Indies. In 2011, if you see, we defeated the reigning champions, Australia. If you want to win this World Cup, you have to beat the best team. According to me, the semi-final will be a high-pressure game because this format is different. In that match, there will be pressure on a good team, and we have to win that pressure match. However, by the time we reach the semi-finals, we will have played 10-11 matches, so we will have enough game time. I have full confidence that Team India will qualify for the semi-finals. We haven't won an ICC trophy in the last 10 years. Our team is not becoming champions. What should Team India focus on in pressure matches? Read more : Yuzvendra Chahal Reacts to Being Left Out of the 2023 World Cup Squad - My view on this is entirely different. An underdog is someone who has never won a tournament and has lost in every pressure match. We are the team that has won three World Cups. We reached the final twice and lost once. Pakistan played exceptionally well that time, and there's no doubt about it. And when we lost to Australia in the Test Championship final this time, we had only four days of preparation after the IPL, whereas Australia had already played a Test match there. No one pays attention to these factors - how much time was available for preparation, how much game time the team had. There's no doubt that Australia played very well. I don't think we are underdogs. I'm not denying that we haven't won a major tournament in a long time, but no team has consistently performed like that. I understand that we are talking about Team India, but I believe our team has the capability to win big matches. In such global tournaments, how crucial are all-rounders in achieving victory? Who will be the X-factor for the team this time? - I believe that Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja will make significant contributions to the team this time. Their performance will be crucial to our team's success." Read the full article

MI dominate DC to go top of the table!
Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals
Game Analysis and Post Match Thoughts
Location: Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Tumblr media
The 27th game of IPL 2020 was played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. Mumbai and Delhi are currently 7 games into their respective campaigns. Delhi were above Mumbai before the game thanks to a sensational start. Mumbai went on to win the game and maintained their winning streak since their loss to RCB.
Tumblr media
This is the latest IPL table where you can view your teams current league standing!
Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first. DC openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw came out first. Prithvi Shaw went out early after hitting a lucky boundry to Trent Boult, his former DC teammate last season. Next came in the experienced Ajinkya Rahane who also hit some boundaries but got dismissed by Krunal Pandya googly which went straight to the pad and resulting in an lbw. After Rahane came in the skipper, Shreyas Iyer who played very well along with Shikhar Dhawan. They were the best batting pair in Delhi’s innings until Shreyas Iyer got out by Krunal Pandya after mis-timing a shot hitting it straight to the hands of Trent Boult. Next came DC’s strongest and biggest man, Marcus Stoinis who hit Trent Boult for 3 boundaries. You would expect Stoinis to stay and do more damage until the end of the innings but that did not happen. Stoinis tried hit Rahul Chahar’s ball fvor a four but there was a fielder, Suryakumar Yadav who made terrible mis-field which made Stoinis want to take the second run, Shikhar Dhawan did not agree and Stoinis tried going back to his crease but it was too late, he was run out by Suryakumar Yadav. Next came Alex Carrey the man in for Rishabh Pant as a wicketkeeper batsman was the last to come out and hit a couple of boundaries with Dhawan and taking DC to a total score of 162-5. MI needed a strong start to win this game and things were not looking good early on as Rabada bowled the first over in which MI did not even hit a single boundary. However since the first over, de Kock’s form picked up and he hit Ashwin for a couple of boundaries and a six. Rohit Sharma tried following his fellow opener but failed to hit the ball over the rope and the ball landed in Rabada’s hands. Next came Suryakumar Yadav who put up a great partnership with de Kock. QDK registered his second half century of this season and Suryakumar got going after that. Once de Kock was back on strike, he mis-timed a hit from Ashwin and got out. Next came Ishan Kishan, he and Suryakumar made batting look so easy and took Mumbai closer and closer to winning the game. Suryakumar even got his second half century of the season in the process. He too, got out after hitting a ball in the air and getting caught. Hardik Pandya, the birthday boy was next and shockingly got out for a duck (0 runs) after a thick edge to Alex Carrey. Kishan then tried going for the win in style by hitting sixes and fours. In the first shout against Rabada, he got very lucky as a catch was dropped and went over for six but the next ball he was not so lucky as he got dismissed to a brilliant catch by Axar Patel. Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard were the only good batsmen left and were quiet in the second last over bowled by Nort Je only scoring about 3 runs. In the last over MI needed 7 of 6 balls and Stoinis was bowling it. Krunal got the over underway by hitting a four. The next ball he took a single getting Pollard on strike. Pollard hit the ball to backward slip who easily could have got a run out but dropped the ball before throwing it which could have lost Delhi the game. MI now just needed 3 runs off 1 ball with Krunal on strike, Krunal Pandya hit the winning runs as the ball raced to the boundary and Mumbai maintained their winning streak and went top of the table.
I honestly expected Mumbai Indians to run away with an easy victory when Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan were batting but we just took the situation for granted and relied on the last two good batting options we had. Overall I am glad with the result and MI put in a solid performance with the bat and ball. Currently sitting at the top of the table are the Mumbai Indians after this result, DC are on the same points but have a lower net run rate than MI and therefore sit second. The big question is, can these two teams meet in the final? I guess we will have to wait and see. The next Mumbai Indians game is against KKR in Abu Dhabi this friday. In my opinion, if MI can win the next fixture against KKR and at least 2 more games in our final 4 they can be guaranteed a finish in the top 4. Do you think MI can finish top of the table this season? Let me know in the comments section!

"We're Going To Be Like A Rabbit Caught In Headlights" Sunil Gavaskar on MI Batter's possible struggles in Australia, South Africa
Mumbai Indians player Ishan Kishan has tracked down it intense to score enormous runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 as he has overseen only 199 runs in eight games, with his most noteworthy score of 81 coming in the main round of this season. The left-given opener has not been his familiar self. There were elevated requirements from Kishan after he was gotten by MI for Rs 15.25 crore in the uber sell off. Previous India skipper Sunil Gavaskar has recognized Kishan's shortcoming against short deliveries and said the 23-year-old might track down it extreme in Australia and South Africa.
"I think he was shaken by the blow he got. Remember, previously, he had been hit on the head protector. It really is anything but a decent sign since it implies, in places like Australia and South Africa where there is additional skip, he will resemble a bunny trapped in the headlights. Each quick bowler is going to simply bang it short, no one will pitch it where he loves, nothing will be beneath the abdomen. Anything over the midsection, he is battling right now," Gavaskar told Star Sports after the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians.
IPL 2022 NEWS
In the match against Lucknow Super Giants, Kishan scored eight runs off 20 balls and he was in the end dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi. The spinner bowled a googly and Kishan just figured out how to get a thick inside edge and it circled up to one side of Jason Holder at slip straight off the manager Quinton de Kock's boot. Kishan began strolling even before the bowler broke into around 50% of an-bid. Pursuing a 169-run target, MI could oversee only 132/8 and drooped to their eighth misfortune in the IPL 2022.
"He just strolled off. He made some miserable memories. He simply needed to escape the misery. By and large, when the ball is edged and it's gotten at first slip, hitters stand by. Here is a man who when the ball perhaps had hit the turf, he was not intrigued. He began to stroll till the umpire told him 'hold tight, stand by, we should have a reference'. It's simply the psychological circumstance he was in," Gavaskar said.
Lucknow Super Giants crushed Mumbai Indians by 36 sudden spikes in demand for Sunday to move to the fourth spot in the IPL focuses table.

Who will Open with Rohit Sharma in West Indies series
Team India is set to play west indies for limited over series from today onwards. Even before Indian Team could start preparing and practising for the tour. Indian Team was hit by Covid crisis. Many players from Indian Camp were detected covid positive and doubts where raised regarding the West Indies series.
Players like Ruturaj Gaikwad , Shikhar Dhawan , Yuzi Chahal were tested positive for covid. Total 11 members from Indian camp including few support and backroom staff members were hit by covid.
So now question for BCCI was whether and how smooth conduct the WI series. BCCI said there will be no change in scheduling of WI series and series will go ahead as planned. Players like Shahrukh Khan , Rishi Dhawan , Mayank Agarwal and Ishan Kishan were added to the squad.
 https://youtu.be/Kb-wky-wsbM
Another question which came was who would open with Rohit Sharma in 1st game as KL Rahul is unavailable due to personal reasons and next 2 openers in line Ruturaj and Shikhar Dhawan both are covid positive. Indian Captain Rohit Sharma came in press conference yesterday and confirmed that Ishan Kishan will open with him in this 1st ODI as Mayank Agarwal joined the Squad late so he is yet complete his quarantine and only option Team India has is Ishan Kishan.
Also there reports that Deepak Hoda is all set for his Indian Team debut. Many others might to get their debuts or starts. It would be interesting to see what would be Team India Line-up for 1st Odi.

"Honoured to receive a bat from my role model"- Chamika Karunaratne thanks Hardik Pandya for the gesture
Tumblr media
Chamika Karunaratne made his T20I debut for Sri Lanka during the first T20I fixture against India. The pacer was presented with a bat before the match by his idol Hardik Pandya.Following the conclusion of the match, which saw India take a 1-0 lead courtesy of a 38-run win, Karunaratne thanked the all-rounder for his gesture on social media."Honoured to receive a bat from my role model @hardikpandya93 thank you so much for giving me your bat, you are an amazing human being and I will never forget this day. May God bless you always. 🙏🏻"During the pre-match warm-up Pandya was seen asking for a bat from the dressing room. The all-rounder received the bat from Ishan Kishan, which he proceeded to hand over to Chamika Karunaratne. The player tested out the new bat with a stance and thanked Pandya for the same before parting ways with a fist bump.
Chamika Karunaratne endured a bleak debut
Chamika Karunaratne had a solid outing in the ODI series, especially with the bat where he contributed vital runs down the order. The 25-year-old was handed the new ball alongside Dushmanta Chameera in the first T20I after the hosts had won the toss. While Chameera found some swing up front, Karunaratne couldn't get the ball to move around much and was given only a one-over spell in the Powerplay. He later returned back into the attack and got his maiden wicket by dismissing the settled Shikhar Dhawan. Karunaratne ended up with figures of 1-34 following a splendid final over that yielded no boundaries.Hardik Pandya, on the other hand, had a game to forget. The swasbuckling all-rounder could only muster 10 runs off 12 deliveries with the bat. He also dropped a sitter inside the circle while fielding and was hit for a maximum off his very first delivery while bowling. Pandya finished with a wicket in the end by removing the struggling Ashen Bandara.Sri Lanka have now lost 10 out of their last 11 T20Is and will have to come up with an exceptional performance to topple this spiritied India side. The second T20I is scheduled for June 26 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Edited by Anantaajith Ra Login to reply Read the full article
