straight up i do believe that this mothers day picture of kate middleton is ai generated. which is (1) horrifying, because if it IS ai generated it has fooled many many people into thinking that it isn't, but also (2) deeply perplexing. why would kensington palace use ai to generate a photo of the princess and wales and her children. why would kate tweet that she tried to edit it when the problems with it clearly aren't due to editing or filtering. if that really was true then why won't they just release the original undoctored photo. what is going ON

Hilarious seeing Kensington Palace release a photo of Kate and the kids for mother's day to try and crush the "Where is Kate?" conspiracy theories, but it was so obviously photoshopped it just gave them new life and actually got the mainstream press to start asking questions.
