#ramblings#sonic frontiers spoilers#the ancients weren't originally from sonic's world?? apparently???#and the weird disembodied voice guiding sonic was evil all along. called it#and that evil being is the one that drove the ancients out of their home planet#AND the ancients had the emeralds originally but the master emerald was on sonic's planet???#what the hell is up with that#also sonic dies but gets brought back through the power of friendship like two seconds after. ok#i should've expected that's how it was gonna go but. it happens all in the same cutscene lmao#correction: he doesn't DIE he just 'absorbs so much cyber energy he gets stuck between worlds'#riiight#tails and amy and knuckles just kinda. poof out of existance when they bring him back tho??#where'd they go#did they like. take on some of the cyber energy sonic had to stop the corruption#and that sent them back to cyber space?? or something??#idk man#the game's good tho i'm just. honestly a tad disappointed he immediately gets saved through power of friendship#like in the same cutscene#like. honestly i'm curious about what that was like because he seems unconscious#but the way he reacts when he comes back implies he wasn't so like. did he die or not#and again. where'd his friends go#i'm focusing on this one detail too much i think lmao#anyways the LORE? juicy. eating it up#can't wait to see how they tie everything up

what do you use to draw those traditional dogs?
Tombow Fudenosuke color pens for the outlines, copic markers for the rest. Silver marker for eye highlight because I can’t find any of my whiteout pens :’( The paper is a non-maker-friendly Canson notebook that I love using markers in because it gives kind of a smooth watercolor texture to stuff? Just can’t go ham on them.
