anyways guys hold on had a breakthru in barneys gordon centric conflict,

so like before now, his co flicr has been a sorta vague "gordon is so different and traumatized and im struggling to readjust to having this new gordon compared to the idealized mental image i made of him" that would eventually develop to "oh he is so traumatized and closed off i need to balance vetween my own mental health and trhing to help him" thats made more difficuly for barney becuz hes developed a lil bit of a short temper but made easier becuz hes learned the ins and outs of how to ingeneral treat others who are so outwardly traumatized by way of everyone bei g sum kind of fucked up

and like thats fine thats cool, a nice development but its kinda flat, and it doesnt allow for a strong enough inner co flict on barneys behalf and also kinda centralized gordon too much to him for someone whos been without gordon for 20 years and also gets in the aay of having other charas have their moment to shine and to help gordon, cuz this whole thought lrocess spawned from writing a kleiner pov fic about kleiner reaching ojtto help gordon almost immediately followkng the showerfic and im writing it and wondering "hey why the fuck isnt barney the one to do this if he isnt that opposed to getting close to gordon again since he gets to gordon first in the timeline?" so the answrr obvs is that:

Barneys second develiped conict after the first mwntioned inner co flict ovwr gordon is trying to figure out if he even Wants gordon back in his life, cuz FR 20 fucking years hes old his back hurts hes doesnt jave time for this shit, he for all intents and purpoaes is over gordon (sure theres like the lil fantasy of what if maybe.. that u get over like childhood friends u "miss" in the abstract) and adding gordon back into his life would be a whole new balancing act, its also a firther reason for barney to distance himself from gordon outaide the laready big reason of barney has gotten used to distancing himself from those around him (including loved ones) to protect himself and them given a) the fact that citizens in general arent even allowed talk in public (at least by the time of hl2) and b) b-boys a fucking spy! u dont get the luxury of talking to peiole around u all willy nilly lest u risk harm to urself or others

like barneys og conflicts prerescas is the inability to express himself deeply, which evolves to become more the extreme just discussed, and the inability to make descions for himself, which then evolves to the extreme of trying to decide if he wants gordon back in his life

it was like all slow motion, walking in at the wrong time to see it all happen clear as day, but make a double take, trying to process if it was all real.

you had a lot of things to take care of that morning, including going to the doctors appointment to see when the best time for you to get your cast off would be.

you had broken your wrist in the all valley competion and you hadn’t even realized it until your second match when you had made one move to make a jab at your competition.

it was a whole mess after that and still continued to be one, especially after you found out that morning you’d have to wait at least another month until you could get it off.

you had to miss your biology class just to hear that. so no, it wasn’t a good morning especially when you walked through the front doors, being met with one large crowd of high schoolers yelling and shouting with glee as they watched multiple fights take place.

but it all seemed to stop at once, seeing him.

you felt your heart in your throat, just barely breathing as you saw him take a long fall from the balcony up above, his arms reaching and grabbing for some hope of support that’d pull him back up, but it was too late.

and then his back hit the staircase bar, the loud sound of cracking ripping throughout the air, silencing everyone. your eyes widen, rushing immediately to the boys side realizing who it was.

tory’s distinct voice calling ‘miguel’ echoed through the air and for the longest time it was the only thing you could hear as it bounced around the crowd.

“robby what’d you do?”

you didn’t even look up as you now hovered over the boy in his unconscious state. you held your breath, lightly pressing your hand on his forehead, pulling back the hair that edged over his eyes.

“miguel,” your voice was soft but broke halfway through, making it come out all strangled and watery.

you felt presence file around you, but you still didn’t bother to look around you as you seemed to be hyponized his peaceful yet very very broken state.

“what do we do?” sam spoke, looking to you as if you’d have all the answers she was looking for right in that moment, and if you were hung honest, you wished you could have been that person for her because you were completely at a lost yourself.

you were barely keeping ahold of yourself, feeling the tears rushing to your eyes while eli (hawk) held your shoulder tightly, looking over his best friend with the same sadden expression.

“i... i don’t know.”

“no, y/n,” she said quickly, “what do we do? you always know what to do, you can always solve things.”

you looked up from miguel right as a police officer rushed over, pushing you and eli away from the boy, checking for his pulse.

“y/n, you always know what to do,” sam’s eyes began to brim with tears as she looked to you, staring deeply into your soul, begging, “always, you always do the right thing.”

more officers began to file around, grabbing onto each of you individually, and while they were pulling you away from the scene, sam kept speaking to you, begging, hopping you would know what to do.

“please.”

the word that finally broke you as your eye whelled up, your mouth opening before closing and then opening again, “i-i don’t know.”

you couldn’t help but feel that it was your fault no matter how many times you were told it wasn’t.

that had been on sam, but no matter how many times eli told you it was truly her fault for you feeling that way, you didn’t believe it.

after miguel had fallen, putting him in a coma everything had seemed to have fallen apart all around you so fast.

you lost contact with anybody and everybody. that day had in fact been the last day you had ever saw sam or tory or anyone you had been remote friends with in the past year, besides eli.

he held on.

he always did and you never understood why. even as everyone had looked up to you as leader as did sam, someone who could solve every problem that came her way, eli knew the real you.

the truth was, you could solve everyone else’s problems but your own.

that always put you into a horrible mindset that eli always had to pull you from, reminding you that everyone was like that, everyone had problems they couldn’t fix and that was okay.

“you can’t blame yourself for something you had nothing to do with in the first place,” he grasped your upper arm, pressing his chin on the top of your head as you stared on aimlessly and tiredly.

“when he wakes up, you won’t be the one to blame.”

johnny lawrence for some reason had taken all the heat for the large fight even as he wasn’t even there, he had no idea about it until he got the call every parent got.

the call that sent you into an place of tears and thoughts that wrapped you up into a cocoon even eli couldn’t tear you out of.

“that’s if he wakes up.”

the day started blatantly dull just as all the others did.

your head hurt, your body hurt, and your mind was blank.

you had stopped going to school after the accident and nobody had blamed you for the descion.

everything had just felt wrong without miguel there.

“i should’ve been there.”

“y/n, you couldn’t have done anything,” he tightly gripped your forearm, “it’s not your fault, okay?”

not your fault.

you had a hard time believing that. with a lot of people depending on you for so many things and at so many times, it hurt when you couldn’t actually help.

“we need to get you out of the house,” eli had hauled you into his car, driving you in foreign roads where less and less homes and buildings began to show within ten minutes.

you didn’t bother asking where you were or where you were going. the less talking the better, you were starting to slowly relax, the grassy scenery getting to your head.

it was about another twenty minutes before he stopped the car, parked in a very old and crumbling parking lot.

the two of you had just sat there, the silence staying settled, only more awkward because you had nothing to no longer look at but a concrete wall with a bunch of maintenance signs.

that’s what spiked your curiosity.

you sat up, your head perking up, observing the rest of the land the surrounded you.

“let’s go.”

“where?”

“just follow.”

it was very obvious you were far from the valley as you hadn’t seen any people until you got behind the cinder block wall, where there it was filled with teens.

it was then you realized you were at the juvenile detention center.

you got weird stares as a guard escorted you throughout the high secure building. it was cold and dull and then it got even more strange as you were sat at a metal table where more juvenile teens were sat around you.

”why are you here?” you finally asked, glancing up at eli who hadn’t sat down on the chair next to you.

“i want you to meet the person who’s actually responsible for miguel.”

The crisp autum enters the nose of y/n as she steps onto the driveway of the boarding house. The scent of the two brothers fills her senses. Another scent is there, the human. Elena.

The young werewolf climbs up the steps and knocks on the doors. Damon answers and immediately invites her in. “Glad you could make it” he says, eyeing you oddly.

Walking into the main room, Stephen drinking some alcohol on the couch with Elena carefully wrapped around him. Y/n decides to stand with Damon, after a long day of sitting from college exams. Damon stands near you, almost a little too close.

“So, what’s going on? You said you need help?”

“Klaus is back, we don’t know why” Stephen explains, “we were wondering if you could track him down, you know...werewolf to half werewolf”

“You want to talk to a sociopathic murderous insane vile hybrid who doesn’t care who he kills or hurts?” Y/n responds. She likes Stephen but there was always something her wolf didn’t like. Similar to Damon. Her wolf instincts always go off around him, like warning flags. It could also just be that there vampires. But taking to Klaus, that sends goosebumps down her spine. It unsettles her all the way to her soul.

“I take that as a no” Damon says, not sounding thrilled with Stephen’s idea. Y/n can guess what Stephen will say next.

“He could be here to hurt Elena” yep. Her wolf laughs at the back of gerbmind. She knows it’s stupid for even coming here. Y/n internally sighs, regretting her life descions.

“You want me to talk to him not knowing why he is here? How do you know if he doesn’t want to, I don’t know, kill all the werewolves or witches, or even vampires? He’s crazy, I’m not going to go talk to him” y/n says and goes to storm out when there’s a knock at the door. She freezes in her steps, tasting the air with her nose. It’s him. The hybrid. Her wolf calls to the scent. She annoying mentally snake at her wolf.

“It’s him and I’m not answering that door only to be strapped” she says and walks back into the main room with Damon. Stephen gets up and walks to the door. He opens it and Klaus tries to walk in, only to be hit with an imaginary wall.

“I’m here to talk” the hybrid says. Behind him is another being. Elijah. Y/n walks around the corner and stands my Damon. The sight of Klaus causes her wolf to scream at her, intelligibly words. Something too seems to be effecting the hybrid. He watches the young werewolf in front of him, not like a piece of steak but with an emotion not often seen on the face of the hybrid.

“Depends what you want to talk about” Damon says.

“My brother needs a place to hide out, let’s just say, someone is hunting him” Elijah says from behind.

“That’s new, Klaus Mikaelson, afraid” y/n finally speaks. Damon stands halfway in front of her, as if he could protect her from the hybrid.

“MMMmm a werewolf, never thought Damon Salvatore would team up with one, nonetheless protect one from me” Damon roles his eyes as Y/N sighs. Y/n simply walks away. She can feel klaus’s eyes following her.

“Look, I don’t care if you keep me prisoner in your little stupid dungeon cellar” Klaus says.

“You guys have a dungeon?” Y/N turns around to Damon.

“Yeah, in the basement and fine, but what do we get out of it” Damon says. Y/n blinks. She’s been in this house many times and didn’t know about that.

“I’ll protect your little human and the little wolf” Damon nods. He holds his hand out and they shake on it. He turns to Elena.Elena gets up and invites Klaus in. Within seconds he has Damon pinned on the wall with his fangs beared.

Elijah pins Stephen to the other wall.

“Listen, we now have full control of this house, we control who enters and leaves, starting with having Damon in the cellar. Still haven’t gotten my revenge during the sacrifice” Klaus says. Y/N looks to Damon, worry and dread in her eyes.

“Klaus let him go! Why are you dojng this?” Elena screams across the room, also directing her words to Elijah, the faithful vampire.

Y/n’a wolf prickles at the scene. Her eyes flash yellow and she runs at the hybrid. He slams her to the floor, but she gets up in a flash, her eyes turn yellow, supernatural strength flowing through her. Krause forgets Damon, slamming him hard to the floor. He runs at Y/n, vampire speed. In the last second, she moves out of her original position, causing him to crash into Elijah, He stumbles up, shocked from his own strength. “Smart little wolf, bet you have one of those moon rings?”

“I don’t do jewelry” She snaps back, eyes remaining yellow. Instead waiting for him, she runs at him but throws Elijah off of Stephen instead. With both of the Salvatore brothers back in action, they go to her side to help.

“It appears they forgotten we are the oldest living vampires” Elijah’s accent rolls sweetly off of his tongue. Elijah runs at Y/n and throws her against the wall, a hidden sign of worry flashes in Klaus’s eyes, but disappears just as fast. She hits the wall and slowly gets to her feet as Klaus breaks off a wooden stake from a side table. In a flash he stabs Stephen and then Damon. Elena attempts to stab the hybrid with a stake of her own, only to get thrown across the room.

“I won’t say it again, we control this house and those in it, wether that means i have to turn you or compell, or even force it, you don’t mind missing a kidney or two, do you?” Klaus’ voice echoes through the house.

“Fine, just let Elena go” Stephen says.

“And Y/n”

“Oh well I’ve grown quiete fond of them both, choose only one to leave, that is all” Y/N wolf growls at her to run but at the same time let Elena go. She the human. Her wolf seems to want to tell her something about the hybrid but seems hesitant.

“Hurry or I’ll choose”

“Y/n”

“Elena” The brothers respond at one. Stephen didn’t seem to like Y/n, they never really talked much. She found it easier to talk to Damon, as he is more of a fun person to talk to while Stephen is more of a serious character, never really having fun unless that is with Elena during the night time.

“Elena it is” Klaus picks up the human and throws her out the door, slamming it in her face. Her demands for Stephen muffled by the thick wood. The young werewolf looks to the door, thinking of escaping, until Elijah caught her.

“No one must no we are here, and we know how talkative you can be to you friends” Elijah instructs.

“If you lets us come and go, we won’t tell anyone” Y/N speaks up.

“Hmmmm, and how will we know when you do?” Klaus replies.

“There are people that will notice my absence, and saying I’m going away is a little out of character and will set off more alarms, the same can be said for the Salvatore brothers, at least with Stephen” Y/n says. A pack. Not a pack that’s known like the crescent, not as big either as all that’s left are the kids of the pack. The others have been killed off by hunters or vampires. While small, they are close enough to be friends.

“What do you think brother?” If she is unable to return to her normal duties of an alpha, they will know there’s something odd. Except no one knows she’s an alpha, or even has a pack for that matter. Never seemed like important information and she didn’t want to get them hurt. Less people that know, the better.

“Fine, but we must know when you’re going to be back, leaving, and where you are at all times” Elijah says. “And Damon will stay in a cell, he’s known to go rouge” Klaus picks up the vampire and carries him downstairs.

“But you are to stay here until the morning, to make sure we can trust your loyalty and word” All night and day, with the originals, one being a hybrid. She’s doomed.

A/N: A side story for My OC Renee West Wells and Sherloque Wells from The Flash. Takes place during season 5. A little back story since I haven’t written that part yet. Thanks to Nora,Renee finds out her long lost love Eobard Thawne aka Reverse Flash is alive in the future but locked up and goes to see him,Eobard manipulates her to his side again,along with Nora,they keep it a secret until Sherloque (who Renee is currently dating) uses his Detective skills and is not too happy with what he finds out,leaving things with Renee up in the air....

Renee should have known Sherloque would find out,he was a Detective after all. What she hadn’t planned on was him saying something in front of Barry,Iris and the rest of Team Flash. Who,known for being a bit judgemental,didn’t take it well. 

If Renee was honest with herself she could understand why Sherloque had made that descion,he felt hurt and betrayed and wanted Renee to feel some of that as well. While Renee hadn’t at first,ultimately leading to Obsidian Storm taking over and joining up with her niece XS,as well as Weather Witch,Bug Eyed Bandit and Rag Doll as The Young Rogues. Eventually after what happened with Nora and Eobard leaving once again,Renee saw the error of her ways and re joined Team Flash.

It was their that Sherloque told them he was leaving back to his Earth,he didn’t look at Renee when he said it but Renee looked at him.Upset but not surprised,if her lover had treated her the way she had treated Sherloque,she would leave too. 

But she wasn’t going to let him leave without at least explaining herself or letting him know that she had cared or does really care for him. 

Biting her lip,Renee works up the nerve then finally clears her throat to get Sherloque’s attention. Sherloque squints up at her in question,as Renee makes a gesture with her head for them to talk in private. Sherloque at first appears to not want too,then eyeing her up and down,excuses himself and follows Renee out of the room. 

Once in the lounge part of Star Labs,Sherloque turns,his hands in his pockets as he regards Renee. “So what iz it you want to talk about?” He asks cooly. 

Renee drops her guard then,hating how distant Sherloque is with her now. “Sherloque I...I am so sorry.” She looks up at him,hoping he can read the sincerity behind her eyes. 

As a so called master detective,Sherloque obviously can but chooses to ignore it,as he looks away with a tsk. “ Iz that all?’ The Frenchman asks. 

“No...” Renee lets out a breath in exasperation,not at him but herself and the situation she had put them in. “Of course not. Look I know you’re mad and hurt and probably hate me,I would too if I were you. But I didn’t mean to hurt you,not intentionally,I do care about you. Honestly I wasn’t expecting to see you again after our one night encounter,then after I left Earth 2,left Harry,I was just lost and you were there but then I started to have feelings for you and then Eobard showed back up and mixed those all up,which I should hate him for but...” The words came spilling out,one after another,unable to contain them or even make sense of them,just wanting Sherloque to know everything she felt in that moment. “I’m sorry you don’t need someone like me,I mean technically you’ve already dealt with me 6 times,why make it a 7th? In fact this was probably a bad idea,I should go.” Seeming to change her mind Renee starts to walk away,when Sherloque,who had been quiet the entire time,grabbed her by the wrist to stop her. “Renee halte’. “

 Pulling her towards him,Renee didn’t have time to react before Sherloque’s lips were on hers,kissing her as if he never wanted to let go. When he did,it was to say. “ I forgive you,you `are not something I have to,how you say,deal with. You are ‘Mon indispensable to me. Mon amour.” 

Renee gazed up at him,studying Sherloque almost like he did with everyone else,but there was no apprehension on Sherloque’s face only sincerity and love.Renee smiled then, “You’re special to me too Sherloque.” 

Sherloque kissed her again,this time slower,as Renee murmured breathlessly between kisses. “Don’t leave Sherloque,I need you,please.” 

“Non. I won’t. Mon avenir “ Sherloque promised,placing his forehead close to Renee’s as they held one another.  

The Following Day... Sherloque POV

Sherloque had been looking for Renee everywhere, at Star Labs,they had just made up and now she had disappeared without a trace. “Where have you gone Ma Tigresse...” Sherloque wondered,muttering the pet name he had for her. Sherloque knew she hadn’t actually left,it was a game she liked,playing hard to get...Sherloque will admit being a Detective he enjoyed it as well,But he was still perplexed as to where Renee had hid off too. So perplexed he even asked Cisco. 

Cisco looked up from the computers and shook his head frowning. “No sorry Sherli I haven’t seen her.”

Sherloque frowned back at the hated nickname but chose to ignore it for the moment.

Cisco stood up then. “I could help you look for her.” 

Sherloque hesitated,making a warding off gesture,shaking his head. “Non,that iz not ne’ssacary.” 

But Cisco insisted following Sherloque,who was heading down to the lounge. 

Sherloque looked back,”Yet you are’ coming anywayz.” He muttered under his breath. 

Once they had reached the lounge and opened the door,Sherloque’s eyes immediately fell onto Renee. Ah there she was. ((Here she iz indeed...)) Sherloque thought,trailing his eyes up and down taking in her,very naked,form as she lay across the couches. Then he noticed Cisco catching up with him and immediately rushed into the room,closing the door so only Sherloque’s face was shown as he shouted. “Ah I found Renee!”

Cisco stopped. “Is she okay?” He asked.

“She iz fine!” Sherloque reassured him trying not to appear nervous. “Very fine indeed...” He murmured,glancing back again at her. Then snapping out of it turned back to Cisco. “I can take it from here.” 

Cisco frowned,”If you’re sure...” Probably thinking Sherloque was just being weird and secretive again.

Sherloque shook his head waving Cisco off. “Oui,very sure!” Sherloque insisted. Waiting until Cisco had left to fully close the door behind him. 

Closing his eyes and Letting out a breath in relief that Cisco hadn’t caught his best friend,and Ex,laying naked in the lounge,all for Sherloque,he forgot for a moment that HIS girlfriend was indeed laying naked waiting for him. Until she spoke up. 

“Sherloque...paint me like one of your french girls...” Renee said softly,quoting that very famous scene from Titanic. 

But Sherloque knew it wasn’t just a euphemism. As he opened his eyes and let out under his breath. “ Oh Tu es toute simplement ravissante’”  Sherloque did paint in his free time and knew Renee was curious about body painting.

“ One moment mon amour.” Putting up a finger,Sherloque looked around then spotted his paints he kept stashed in the lounge,letting out a pleased “Ah!” upon finding it. Once he had retrieved his body paints,Sherloque turned back to Renee,with a wicked grin. “Let uz begin.” 

Renee’s POV

Renee had been waiting for almost half an hour,wondering when Sherloque was going to find her. And was relieved when he finally did,glancing at his hungry look now as he held the paints,his eyes roaming over her body,she was glad she had waited. 

Renee suppressed a shiver,not out of being cold,as Sherloque advanced towards her. 

Then he stopped,setting his paints down as he removed his long coat and rolled up the sleeves of his dress shirt,slowly because he knew Renee was watching. And she was. 

Renee watched every gesture and nuance her boyfriend made,admiring his toned arms but also his ability to size her up as much as she was sizing him up,seeming to appear cool yet interested all the same time,damn did the French go to school for Seduction 101? or was it because he was also a Detective and knew by her eyes,everything Renee was wanting in that moment. 

Renee surmised it was both. She followed Sherloque with her eyes as he knelt in front of her. “Sit up Tigresse.” Sherloque instructed her with a nod of his head. Renee did as she was told gazing up at Sherloque’s intense expression,who was frowning in concentration already in artist mode,Renee openly shivered this time as Sherloque started painting her chest,brushing alongside her nipple. 

“A little excited My pet?” Sherloque smirked already knowing the answer. 

Renee cleared her throat,looking away. “No,I’m fine.” She lied. 

Sherloque gave a disbelieving sound but continued. “Relaxe’...” He told her. “Close your eyez.”

Renee did,feeling instead of seeing every stroke he made with the brush against her skin,swirling it around her nipples and down her stomach. Talk about four play...

In what seemed like forever,but wasn’t nearly long enough,Sherloque told her to open her eyes,she did looking down and seeing awash of colors in blue,black and streaks of yellow over the front of her body. It took her a moment to realize he had painted a Thunderstorm. 

“Sherloque it’s beautiful...” Renee whispered. 

Sherloque gave a small smile but he wasn’t done yet,as he ran a hand up Renee’s legs. “Open.” 

Renee did,slowly at first until she felt Sherloque’s hands grip her thighs,telling her without words,to open wider. Renee’s eyes closed once again as she felt Sherloque’s paint brush glide up her leg closer to more while intimate parts as he gently pushed her thighs open. 

Stopping to admire the view appreciatively. “Perfection...” He murmured under his breath. As he started to paint her inner thighs,then letting out a “Mmmm” of feigned annoyance,rubbed at the spot he had just painted. “Looks like I missed a spot. Don’t worry Mon Cheri I clean it.” 

Renee opened her eyes long enough to look down into Sherloque’s own,dark with lust as he trailed kisses up her thighs,every touch was slow and sensual,making Renee moan and drop her head back once Sherloque’s mouth went where she really needed it to go. 

Slowly,languidly he licked up her,seeming to devour every taste and savor every moan that came from her lips,as she came with a shudder. 

Sherloque let up then,raising to meet her as she said breathlessly,eyes closed. “Make me forget Sherloque.” 

“Forget what Mi Amour?” Sherloque asked,though he knew for the most part what she meant. 

Renee’s eyes opened then,dark with lust,as she stared into Sherloque’s own lust filled eyes. “Everything.” She murmured. 

Sherloque’s lips were on hers then,kissing her passionately,she wrapped her arms around Sherloque as he picked her up and carried her to his makeshift bed. 

Once on the bed Sherloque positioned himself above her,giving her a long kiss as he slowly stroked her,Renee was more then ready when Sherloque thrust inside her with a low moan.

Akatsuki no yona chapter 182 Joo-doh and the advisor who I hate more than soo-won

honestly I think its interesting because the earth tribe leader agreed reluctantly to throw the fight. but he did it because he assumed that recommendation was from soo-won directly and not the adviser. so the adviser is able to tell the earth king leader is very loyal to soo-won even though soo-won could tell this is still going to be a bad move over all. the adviser thinks he is in control of the narrative and I think he put yona by the king in the chair specifically because he wants to rial up hak and drive hak to act out of anger. the dude half over estimates and underestimates them because I don't think he understand that yona REALLY isn't out for revenge and has no interest in stealing the thrown from soo-won. the adviser was worried because yona and the dragons were gaining support and respect and influence from all over the kingdom which could hurt soo-won if she ever thinks of taking back the castle but he doesn't understand that isn't yona or the groups goal in the slightest.

and Hak was super angry and wanted to kill soo-won but there are many feels built into that for Hak and unlike everyone else Hak is genuinely loyal and never broken a oath to any one unlike many in the skytribe or what they had to do to take down king Il. and according to joo-doh is a real threat. and the adviser saw first hand that hak could command the respect of a entire army so I think Joo-doh sees hak as powerful to. both positively and negatively.

the adviser thinks he has everything under control. that yona and the dragons need the palace more than the palace needs them because of safty due to the kidnapping scare and the adviser pressing into that insecurity, not just helping pretty boy doctor. after all he got the the drgons to separate from yona and hak. yona sat in the chair. and he got the tribe leaders to agree to hold back and let the dragons win which would show the dragons as under soo-wons command even if they aren't and they would get to see the powers.

only the adviser didn't expect that Hak is mature enough to knw he is being baited by the chair and to respect that yona wouldn't sit in it if she couldn't handle the situation. even better is while the advisor orchestrated this he never told the dragons what to do directly. he just expected them to follow the idea and reveal their powers. but what I thought was even better was not only did the dragons stop the reveal of the powers of shin-ah and zeno. but the problem is the zealiousy people feel for the dragons. good emotions can quickly twist into negative and if the dragons win it would show the people the impressive dragons that are under the 'king's' control. but by showing aggression enough to rip up the ground they show they aren't under the kings control and by getting 'taken down' by the people who were told to let them win it shows that humans can be equal to them. which takes away some of the mystism behind the dragons which should spread so it might help lower the chances of people going crazy over the powers. though its still a risky bet cuz they did still scare people. Hak also stood out as the thunder beast able to handle the rocks and stuff so he gained a little more renoun still. and it makes the advisor who thought he knew how everyone would react foolish because hak didn't react how he expcted. I also thik its interesting because I think hak and the dragons I think had the advisor forget that YONA is the one impressive enough to get them together and isn't just some child who walked into a trap unprepared. soo-wons team still has the advantage in this but Yona still has her dignity.

I also love your reaction to everyone reacting to yona calling out soo-won letting his adviser run wild. after all the adviser offered them this deal without even consulting soo-won at first. and this is theguy who was fine with prompting soo-won to kill yona after the murder. I think soo-won is holding back about meddling with yona and hak because he IS biases toward the positive with them and even when he makes clear logical decisions others like joo-doh get angry and question soo-won in the past when he hesitates to say kill what they all precieve as a threat. that he isn't commited and will hesitate because part of his still cares about them. so I wonder if that's why he is letting this guy run his course...though doesn't mean soo-won isn't in the wrong or makng a mistake here because he still let the adviser have the plan with the seating arrangement which insulted yona. though I suppose in the end they all know they aren't engaged and that its just a eat no mater what the civilians are speculating.

everyone is definitely so focused on hak that they are still underestimating princess yona in their midsts...which could be great because none of them have REALLY see yona in action. lila, the fire tribe brothers have seen it up close. the the sister princesses have. soo-won I think definitely got a taste with her manipulating the situation to stop the war. but a country attacked where the false signal was at the fire tribe which helped make it less suspicious. lowering their expectations for yona. 

  and hak and the dragons implied to the earth tribe leader and joo-doh that the dragons faked all that at made they react how they wanted to. to get the 'humans' to win and got them not to just throw the match. it just strengthens the idea the adviser is the real enemy to both yna and soo-won I think. and that no one on soo-won's side is really looking at them and what YONA's group is valuing since soo-won's group cant grasp yona wont want revenge or the kingdom one day or that hak values his friends and respects yona's descion to not make a move like a dumbass. 

  it make the advisor look  a bit foolish for hak to be eyes front to someone who was guarding him. I'm not sure if yona's group cam in for much of a plan or intel search. I think yo just feared the dragons getting kidnapped and used again and she did promise yoon knowledge. and o doubt if they had refused the adviser would have seen them as a enemy again. I don't think its the best idea still but yona IS still 16 I think. but they are definitely still on the advisors turf.

"Thank you Pittsburgh, we love you!" Vince shouts at the wild crowd chanting Crue.

We run backstage sweating and panting. This was our last show of 89. We are heading home for the holidays.

"Shit I'm so fucking tired." Tommy breathed out while using a cloth to wipe his face.

"Same fuck." Vince huff's as he drops himself on the couch in the change room.

"Here." Mick walks over to us handing each of us a water bottle.

"Hey boys you excited." Doug smiles walking into the room with Fred walking in behind him.

"Excited for what?" Tommy asks.

"For the Christmas break." Fred says with excitment. "I finally get to get away from you fuckers."

"Haha very funny Fred." Vince chuckles sarcastically.

"Man I can't wait to see my family. This tour is exhausting." Doug groans.

"You're exhausted?" I question looking at Doug. "We're the ones playing every night."

"Yeah well still, keeping you guys in check is extremely difficult." Doug says as he walks and sits by Vince. "So what are you guys doing for the holidays?"

"Ugh, I have to spend Christmas with Heather's family." Tommy says dryly.

"Is that a bad thing?" Vince chuckles.

"Well kind of, they can be annoying some times. Especially her mom, her and Heather are always nagging me."

"What about your family?" I ask.

"Her family and my family are coming to our house. Heather wants me to clean up and help her cook. As if I know how to cook." Tommy shrugs.

"I don't know why she would trust you in the kitchen, drummer. I wouldn't eat anything you cooked, I'd rather starve to death." Mick speaks up.

All of us start laughing. Tommy throws his cloth at Mick and he grins and swats it away.

"What about you Vince?" Doug leans back on the couch looking at Vince.

"Me." Vince grunts and leans back on the couch as well. "I'm going to spend Christmas with Sharise's family."

"What about your kids?" Fred asks.

"I'm going to see Neil, but I can't see Beth. Elizabeth won't allow me to see her. She's keeping her away from me. I'm hoping that me and Sharise can have a child togther soon."

Doug patted Vince on the shoulder. I felt bad for Vince. He was always complaining that Beth would on purposely tell Vince to come see Elizabeth on the days that he was out on tour just so he wouldn't be able to see her. She wanted his money but didn't want him around. I hope he gets to have a child with Sharise.

"Well at least Sharise wants kids with you. Heather won't even talk about children with me." Tommy frowns.

"Give her time Tommy she'll come around." Doug says.

"She's had three years now. It's going to be four when we reach May of next year." I point out.

"Exactly." Tommy sighs.

"Well, since we're talking about families. I'm meeting Emi's family for the first time." Mick speaks.

"Good for you Mick." Fred nods. "I'm spending time with Jess's family for the first time."

"Ouuu Fred you and Jess getting serious?" Tommy chuckles.

"He's got googley eyes for her." Vince laughed.

"Yeah, I do." Fred smirks. "It's about time I settle down instead of fucking around like you clowns."

I listened to the guys talk and laugh about spending time with families and loved ones. I felt bad that I didn't have a family to talk about. I was hoping that no one would ask me any questions. It would make me feel worse.

"So what about you Sixx?" Doug looks at me.

"He's obviously going to be with Mani." Vince chuckles.

"Bitch." Tommy sneers under his breath thinking that I didn't hear him.

After he says that, the room goes silent. All the guys look at me with wide eyes and shock.

"Tommy!" Fred growls. "That's not cool."

"Don't speak about her like that." I move from the table and walk towards him. "Seriously Tommy leave it alone."

"What? I'll never forgive or like her for what she did."

"That's fine if you don't wanna forgive her or like her. But fucking respect her Tommy. She's my girl!" I raise my voice.

"Oh I'm sorry Sixx." Tommy touches his heart turning to me. "I didn't mean to disrespect your girl who can't even tell anyone about you guys relationship." He snarled.

"Tommy enough." Mick speaks up.

"Enough of what?" Tommy questions. "We all know that their relationship is in the closet. I feel sorry for you man." Tommy smirked and shook his head. "Can't kiss, hug, or hold hands in public."

"And you can't have children with Heather." I spat. "Cause she probably knows that you're still sticking your dick in different holes."

"Fuck you Nikki!" Tommy yells.

"Alright boys enough!" Fred yelled. "Change and let's get the hell outta here! I'm tired of your shit!"

I back away from Tommy. I walk to the side and grab my bag and walk out the door.

On the jet..

I sat in a seat alone writing in my notebook. I've been writing a lot of poetry and stories since I left rehab. It's been keeping my mind busy, especially from drinking.

"H..hey dude."

I looked up to see Tommy standing by me rubbing his hair. I scoffed and went back to writing completely ignoring him.

"Can I please sit?" He pleads.

I shrug but continue to write, I'm not sure what he wants to talk about. I'm pissed at him after what he said about me and Mani. It's clear that he doesn't support my relationship.

"So uh, what are you writing?" He asks hesitantly.

No response.

"You uh, writing new lyrics." Tommy says nervously as he starts using his fingers to drum on his thigh.

No response.

"Sixx c'mon, please can we talk?" He pleaded.

I sighed and looked up at him then closed my book.

"Talk."

"Ok, well I'm angry at Mani because she shit on something that was special to Heather. And on top of that she nearly killed you Nikki. That was uncalled for."

"Tommy." I leaned forward so I could be face to face with with him. "I am sorry about Heather, ok. I apologized before and I'm still apologizing now. I know Mani feels bad about it too. But you need to let it go."

"It's hard for me to let it go." Tommy huff's leaning back on the couch.

"When you first brought Heather around us. She looked at me like I was shit, and she would always make snide remarks about me and the band. I tolerated it because you loved her."

"Yeah, you did." Tommy frowns.

"Look, I was mad at first when Mani did that to me. But in a way I deserved it. And if I'm being honest, I'm glad it happened. Because it brought us back together and helped us to talk about the things in our past that we never resolved."

He nodded his head and turned away from me.

"Tommy I love her, and I'm trying to stay on this positive path. I'm balancing staying sober, being in a secret relationship with Mani, these new emotions, touring, fighting with Brandi for a divorce, and you."

"Sixx-"

"Listen, if you can't let it go and forgive her than we can't be friends. Because I can't allow you to speak about her like that. She means a lot to me."

"So what are you saying?" Tommy mumbles and looks at me.

"I'm saying...that I'm choosing her."

It went silent for a long time. I could see it in Tommy's eyes that he was a bit upset. I hate to do this to him because we have been best friends since 81 and he is my terror twin. But this relationship with Mani means a lot to me. She trusts me, she loves me, and makes me feel good about myself. I want things to go further with us and I... actually.. we can only do that by keeping the negative people away.

"You really love her huh?" Tommy looks up at me with a sad face.

"I do Tommy, she means the world to me. She forgave me after everything I put her through, so that has to mean something worth fighting for. I don't want to lose any chance of happiness."

Tommy nodded his head slowly and rubbed his neck.

"Sixx, you're going to get mad at me. But I have to tell you something." Tommy says with a nervous look on his face.

"Please don't tell me you did something stupid." I let out and amused groan.

"Well...it could be considered funny." He shrugged chuckling.

"What is it?"

"I uh..I sent Mani a coke bomb on her birthday when she was in paris." He mumbled lowly.

"Tommy." I groan and slide down in my seat.

"Sorry I was still pissed off." He waved his hands. "But I'm not anymore, I see how happy she makes you and I feel bad for saying rude things about her infront of you."

"It's fine." I sigh and sit back up. "Just from now on I need you to be nice to her. Considering how much I hurt her I want her to feel safe and accepted with all of us."

"Yeah I hear you. We good?" Tommy raises his brows.

"Of course T-bone."

He got up to leave but stopped and turned around.

"Also, another thing Sixx." Tommy's face turns serious. "Remember how you said it wasn't Mani that drugged you. What did you mean by that?"

"I meant that it was her manager. She's not a good person. She tells Mani to do fucked up shit and she's always in her ear whispering bad things to her."

"So Mani always does what her manager tells her to do and say?" Tommy asks with concern.

"Did Mani say something to you?" I furrow my brows.

"N..no..I just wanna know." He chuckled nervously.

I sigh and scratch my head ready to tell him.

"Look Tommy, I use to manipulate Mani when she was younger because she couldn't think for herself. I would tell her what she wanted to hear or call her to make her pity me and feel sorry for me so I could get her to come to me. Then, I would make her do things that she wouldn't normally do. Like running away on tour with me. It was so easy because she was young and raised in a strict house hold and very sheltered. She knew nothing about the real world. She grew up never being able to make decisions for herself. Other people always made descions for her, including me. But I realized how dangerous it is to manipulate someone who can't think for themselves. It means that when someone tells Mani something, it's hard for her not to listen. Especially if that person has been in her life for a long time. Like her manager."

"Shit." Tommy mumbled and rubbed his head. He started biting his fingers tips and looked down at the ground.

"Yeah." I breath out. "Now that I'm sober and able to think properly I try my hardest to sit down and talk to her instead of putting thoughts and words in her ear. Mani's a sweet girl. I want her to make her own decisions. I want her to stand up to Tamara rather than say yes to everything Tamara tells her to do."

"Does she know you use to manipulate her?"

"No." I shake my head. "But I am gonna tell her when the time is right. It's something that she needs to know."

"Fuck." Tommy breathed out.

"Tommy." I called to him. "If she said something to you, you know you can tell me. Right?" I ask with seriousness.

"Oh..uh..no she didn't say anything to me." He studdred. "When I see Mani again I'm going to apologize for how I've been treating her. I want you and her to be happy."

When the jet landed we all got out and gave each other a hug goodbye. We weren't going to see each other until next year. I got into my limo and reached home. I sigh as I looked around the big empty house. I didn't bother to put my stuff away properly. I sat down on the couch wondering what I would be doing for the break. Before Mani left she said she would call me and we can talk often. She's spending time with her family in Canada for the holidays. Every one has someone except for me. My holidays are going to be very lonely. I guess shit just doesn't change for me. I was lonely in the past, I'm lonely in the present, and chances are I'll be lonely in the future.

After taking a quick nap. I've been speaking to Mani a lot on the phone. I had to pretend like I was ok here. I told her that I was going to be hanging around with my friends for the Christmas break. But I have no friends. The ones that I do are still on drugs or drinking. Robbin called me as well but he was so out of it that I had no clue what he was saying. Tom also called and I spoke to some of my aunts and uncles. I wish I could go to Idaho, but there's not enough time. Plus I don't want to go to Idaho by myself. I got up then headed downstairs with my new base that Mani got for me. I sat there and started strumming but nothing was coming to me. I just felt bored and unmotivated.

Ring Ring Ring

I put my base down and walked to the phone.

"Hey."

"Hi babe."

"Hi princess how are you?" I asked as I walked back to the couch and sat down.

"I'm alright, just checking in on you. I hope you're ok?"

"Babe I'm fine, I keep telling you that. What's that noise in the backround?"

"Oh." She laughs. "It's my mom's church music. She plays it every Christmas. I can't believe you can actually hear it. I'm in my sisters room and the music is downstairs."

"Yeah I can hear it." I chuckled. "So is it just you and your family having a Christmas dinner or are other people going to be at your place?"

"Well we're actually going over to my uncle's house. Him and his wife just had a baby. So the whole family is going to spend Christmas there."

"That's...that's great." I mumble.

I stayed silent for a bit. Family. Something that I have never had. Going over to my girlfriend's house for a Christmas dinner to meet her family is something I wish I could experience. People always groan and complain about not wanting to see their in laws. But that's something I would kill to have.

"Nikki are you still there?"

"Oh ..uh sorry I kind of tuned out a bit. What were you saying?"

"I said so what are you doing today?"

I sighed. I wanted to tell her that I have no plans today or any other day but I didn't want her to pity me. I don't want anyone's pity. And I don't want her to travel all the way down here to come and be with me. I want her to be with her family. She deserves to have happiness. She deserves to smile.

"Oh, I'm going to be hanging with friends." I said with fake excitement. "We're going to go out and eat. You know, do guy stuff."

"Guy stuff?" She questions.

"No strip clubs I promise." I chuckled.

"Are they clean?" She asks with concern.

"Yeah babe they're clean." I assure.

"Nikki I can come after Christmas to see you-"

"Mani I'm fine." I assure. "You came out for my birthday so please spend time with your family as long as you need to."

"Ok." She says casually. "I'll call you later."

"Alright babe."

"I love you."

"Love you too."

We both hang up the phone. I think maybe I'll go out shopping for myself. And buy some Christmas presents for people. I probably won't give them the presents till after Christmas cause everyone will be with their families.

I tied my hair back and put on a baseball cap and sunglasses for my disguise. I grabbed my car keys then locked up and got into my car. It was busy out on the roads. People wanted to do some last minute shopping before Christmas.

I stopped and parked my car and got out then headed into the mall. I grabbed a shopping cart then walked around looking for things to buy. I picked up a couple of things that I thought Mani would like, I also got something for Fred, Jess, Tommy, Vince, and Mick. I got something for Tom as well, I'll have to ship it down to Idaho.

"Nikki?"

I tensed up hearing that familiar voice.

"Hi Brie." I smiled nervously.

"Hi." She smiled and gave me a hug. "Nice disguise." She chuckled.

"Well it keeps the fans from recognizing me." I shrug. "Uh..well it's nice to see you I have-"

"Nikki you don't have to keep avoiding me." She frowned. "I know you and Brandi are going through some trouble but it doesn't mean that when you see me you have to run away."

"I know." I rub my hair feeling a bit awkward. "It's just Brandi's your daughter and I don't want trouble."

"I understand." She nods. "But also I feel like you should try and work things out with her. I don't feel like you two really tried. You know she really misses you and wants you two to work things out. And well, so do I." She speaks softly.

And you wonder why I avoid you.

"Brie." I sigh. "I don't know if Brandi told you but I'm in a relationship with someone else."

I saw the hurt on Brie's face. I felt really bad for having to tell her this. Ever since me and Brandi have been having problems I haven't spoken to Brie. Last I saw her was when she came over to get Brandi at our Dr. Feelgood release party. Since then I've been avoiding her like the plague.

"So, you marry my daughter and tell her you want to have a family with her. But the moment you two start arguing you want to call it quits and move onto a different woman right away." She said bitterly.

"Brie it's not that." I groaned.

"So what is it?" She furrows her brows and crosses her arms over her chest.

"Brie I'm sober now." I sigh. "I'm not doing drugs, I'm not drinking, I'm not smoking. I'm clean and Brandi's not. So it's a problem for me."

She nods her and looks passed me like she's thinking. "Well problems have solutions. Why don't you come over on Christmas eve to my place and we can sit down all together and talk about all of this. Brandi will be really happy to see you." She pleads. "And honestly I miss you too. I'm sure you don't want to be alone for Christmas. I know you don't have any family here. And Brandi is still your wife."

"Ok I'll think about it." I nod. "I..uh..I gotta go."

I push my cart passed her and speed walked over to the line. I paid and ran out of the store. I was feeling anxious and overwhelmed for some reason. I threw my stuff in the trunk, climbed into my car, and sat there for a bit. Maybe spending time with Brie and Brandi wouldn't be so bad. They both miss me and I do need company. Plus I'm still married to her so it's normal for married people to spend time with each other.

"Fuck Nikki no, you can't." I grumbled to myself. "Fuck."

I drove out of the shopping mall parking lot and found myself down by the sunset strip. I watched all the teens hanging out by the clubs drinking and smoking. The place has calmed down since the early eighties. I looked down at my leg and realized it was bouncing up and down. Why am I feeling anxious and stressed out? I feel like I need a drink.

"Fuck." I groaned.

My problem is loneliness, it always has been. I turn and drive down to the cathouse. I park my car in the lot and climb out. I pull my hat down just a bit more to cover my face as I head into the cathouse. All these guys that never made it as rockstars are still here drugged out and drinking. This was a bad idea, I need to get out of here before I...

"Hey Sixx!"

I turn to the right to see who's calling me.

I ran over to Robbin with open arms. He picked me up and gave me a big bear hug. Wow he looks like complete shit.

"Shit man where have you been?" He slurred.

"I've been on tour bro." I patted his arm. "You uh..you look..good." I lied.

"Thanks dude." He smiled. "Hey come sit." He grabbed my arm and walked me over to the booth he was sitting at.

"Hey Sixx what's up?" Riki walked over to greet me.

"Hey Riki."

He's another one that I tried avoiding. Especially because he introduced me to Brandi.

"I thought you were sober? What brings you here?" Riki asked.

"I was just driving by." I shrug. "It looks like King is doing his afternoon drinking." I point at Robbin.

"He's been here since morning." Riki chuckled.

"Well I have nothing better to do. Steven's pissing me off. He has lead singer syndrome. Thinks he's the shit, he's trying to kick me out of the band."

"He can't do that." I snap.

"Shit that sucks." Riki speaks up. "Hey you and Brandi still together or what?" He looks at me.

"We're married but separated." I say with nervousness.

"She really loves you Sixx, she told me herself."

I breath out and rub my face.

"Hey Riki you're stressing him out. Go get us some whiskey, Sixx needs a drink."

"Alright." Riki walks away.

"Uh no Robbin I can't stay, I'm trying to stay sober." I object.

"Sixx it's one fucking drink, it's not going to kill you like heroin nearly did. Come on bro for old times sake." He laughed and patted my arm.

"Robbin I can't, I promised Mani I would stay sober."

"Robbin-" I groaned.

"Ok, one drink. Just one drink."

"Alright here you go boys." Riki says as he puts the tray of shot glasses down. "I'll do one with you."

I look at the whiskey in the shot glass. My leg starts to shake underneath the table.

Will I be ok just having one drink?

"Sixx?" Robbin raises a brow.

It's only one drink. It can't lead to anything else.

"Alright, one drink." I smiled.

We pick up our shot glasses and down them. I clear my throat as the delicious taste of alcohol goes down my throat. I've missed this. I miss feeling alive, I miss hanging out with King and being at the cathouse, I miss partying.

"How about another?" Robbin slures.

"Sixx?" Riki looks at me.

"Yeah, I could use one more." I think one more will be fine. It's not like I'm over doing it. I rub my face and breath out.

"Atta boy!" Robbin yells. "Mani's been keeping you on a leash! It's time to free your self! Get the whole bottle Riki!" Robbin cheers.

"Alright, settle down Robbin." Riki chuckles.

Riki came back with two bottles instead of one. We opened them up and finished the whole thing. _____

Thursday, December 21st, 1989

Morning...

"Oh fuck." I grumbled.

I stird and looked around realizing that I wasn't at home. This looks like Kings house.

"King!" I called out.

My head was fucking throbbing. I rolled out of the bed and stumbled a bit using the dresser to steady myself. Something felt like it was coming up my stomatch. I looked around for the bathroom but couldn't find it. So I had to puke on the rug.

"Uh..shit." I groaned as I finished puking. I wiped my mouth and opened the door to leave the room. "Robbin?"

"He's still sleeping Nikki." Theresa said from downstairs. "Come downstairs and have some breakfast."

I walk downstairs and rub my face. I sat at the table feeling like complete shit for what I did last night. I broke my sobriety.

"Did we drive?"

"No, Riki called you guys a taxi and Robbin brought you here. Your car is still at the cathouse."

"Fuck!" I raised my voice. "Fuck!" I yelled slamming my hand down on the table.

"So." Theresa walks over with cornflakes and milk. "How much did you drink?"

She placed them down on the table then turned around to grab me a bowl.

"Two maybe three bottles." I say with disappointment in my tone. "Thanks." I say as I grab the bowl from her.

"And how does Iman feel?"

Ugh Mani will fucking hate me.

"She doesn't know, Theresa." I get frustrated and grab the cereal box pouring it aggressively into the bowl. "I'm not going to drink again."

"I said I was going to stop injecting heroin two years ago. So I went to rehab, but when I got out and came back home to Robbin. He had it all around the house and was doing it infront of me. So I relapsed." She says sadly.

I watch her as she picks up a cigarette and lights it up. Theresa used to be a beauty. Full figure, long black hair, tanned skin, with white teeth. Now she looks like me when I was on heroin. It's scary to see her like this.

"Have you spoken to Mani since Tamara fired you?"

"No I haven't." She shakes her head. "I don't want her to see me like this. I wanna be clean before I talk to her." She says blowing smoke out.

"She cares about you."

She nods her head and sniffles. "I always cared about her..I just..you and Robbin got me into this shit." She grumbles and points at me. "Now I depend on him for everything." She sniffles again. "My family won't even talk to me cause I married him. I have to spend my Christmas here with Robbin doing drugs." She sobbed.

I sigh and put my spoon down. "Theresa I can hook you up with a specialist. He helped me get sober. I can give you his number."

She snickers and shakes her head then puts the cigarette out in the ash tray. "He must be shit." She chuckles.

"Why do you say that?" I furrow my brows taken aback at what she said.

She gets up and leans close to my face placing her hands on the table for balance. "Cause you- are not-sober." She grins smugly and leans back. "Finish your cereal and get fuck out." She sneered and walked away.

I rubbed my face knowing that she got to this point because of me and Robbin. I introduced her to drugs the same why I introduced Mani to my life of decadence. The only difference between Iman and Theresa, is that Iman had her morals and was strong willed to never touch drugs where as Theresa gave in. I'll just finish my cereal and..

"Nikki!" Theresa shouted from upstairs. "You pouta! You puked on my carpet!"

I think I'll just leave now.

Nikki's house..

I picked up my car from the cathouse but before coming home I stopped to buy two bottles of jack. I might need them for later, you never know who's going to come over for a visit. I showered then brushed and laid down in bed. My head was hurting and I still felt like shit. I felt angry at my self for drinking. I swore to Mani that I wouldn't drink, but I did. And I had more than one bottle. The phone started ringing and I didn't feel like talking to anyone, including Mani. I was so angry at myself that I drank. But then again I can't ignore her, I love her too much.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby boy." Mani said in a seductive voice.

"Hey princess." I chuckled. "Better not let your mom hear you talking like that." I joked.

"She's not home, and uh, neither are my sisters."

I sat up on my bed and leaned back on the head board. "Mmm so what does that mean?" I breathed out smiling to myself.

"It means your hand needs to be inside your pants and my finger is going to be underneath my skirt." She chuckled.

I stopped smiling and sighed and stayed quiet.

"Nikki? Nikki, you there?"

"Is it..is it always going to be like this?" I ask sadly.

She sighs. "No it won't, and I'm so sorry for making you feel like this."

"It's ok babe, I put us in this situation. I know if anyone finds out about us it will be a problem for you."

"I'm sorry Nik."

"I just...it's frustrating sometimes when I see couples out walking together hand and hand or kissing and touching. And I can't do that." I say with agitation.

It goes silent on her end. I don't mean to bring up all these things before Christmas because I don't want her feeling bad for leaving. But all these emotions are just coming in and I feel like I'm about to drown in them.

"Do you want me to come back?" She mumbles.

Yes baby I do, I really need you here with me cause I feel lonely. Is what I want to say.

"No babe, I want you with your family." I lie.

"I love you baby boy." She whispers.

Nikki you have to tell her you drank.

"Mani." I said with nervousness.

"Yeah."

"I.."

"Youuuuu..."

"I um.."

"Nik, you sure you're ok?"

I can't do it.

"I love you too princess." I whisper back feeling very guilty.

"Aww baby." She chirped. "So how about that hand?" She asks seductively.

Afternoon..

I woke up after a nap. I really fucking needed it. I huffed when I heard my phone ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sixx it's Robbin, what's up dude?"

"Hey King, I'm good." I say

"Hey listen sorry about Theresa this morning. She's been in a bad mood since yesterday. That's why I went out to drink. Had to get away from her." He laughed.

"Nah, it was my fault." I chuckle. "I puked on your carpet."

"So, any plans today?"

"Mm, no not really. I'm going to be here alone." I respond trying not to feel sad.

"Where's Mani? I thought she was with you, that's why I brought you back to my place."

"She's with her family in Canada spending the break with them."

"Wow, so Christmas came early for you huh." He chuckled humorously.

"Yeah...I guess." I frown a bit.

"So, can I come over? We can chill like old times. We haven't really hung out in a while."

A part of me wanted to say no because Robbin is still snorting, drinking, and injecting. And I am trying to stay sober. But a big part of me wants to say yes because I don't have anyone to hang out with. Last night we had a lot of fun hanging out. It was like old times.

"Uh..no I'm waiting on Mani's call and we're going to have phone sex. So I don't want you to hear that." I lie.

"Alright Sixx, well I'll let you go then. Call me if you change your mind."

"Yeah sure no problem."

I hung up the phone and rubbed my face. I got up and walked around my mansion. What's the point of having a big mansion with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, three living rooms, a huge backyard with a pool if I don't have a fucking family. Does that make sense?

I walked outside and walked around my pool. I then came back in and looked in my fridge for something to eat but I didn't feel like eating. I then sat back down on the couch and turned the TV on. I watched MTV but I felt a little bored after watching it for some time.

I went upstairs to my office to see if I could find a book to read or find something to do so I could pass the time, but there was nothing. I walked into my bedroom and looked at the two bottles of Jack Daniels sitting on the drawer. There an was ich that was starting to form in my body. I bit my fingertips and started twitching my toes.

"Fuck Nikki no." I growled turning around and walking out of the room. I stopped infront of the stairs and started pacing. "Fuck." I rubbed my face over and over again.

The feeling wasn't going away. I needed something to do to get the feeling to just leave me. Maybe one drink can help get rid of the loneliness. Yeah one drink will be fine. This time I'm not around Robbin or Riki so I can control how much I drink. Maybe I can call Tommy and see what he's up to. We're both in the same boat staying sober, we can both look out for each other so that we drink only a little. I walked back into my room and dialed Tommy's number. My leg was still bouncing up and down. I hope he answers.

summary: Lucas has a giant crush on one of his friends (again, but this time it isn’t Yann), and once again said friend has a girlfriend. The thing that’s different this time around, though, is that Lucas has a girlfriend, too, which just adds to the pile of problems in his life. || College/Uni AU

CHAPTER TWO

“What are you doing?”

Lucas spins around with one hand gripping a t-shirt from his closet, the other hand loosely holding onto the one he had been wearing before. His blue eyes land on Yann rather quickly, who looks the slightest bit confused at his best friend shirtless while looking nervous as hell. “I’m having dinner with Eliott,” Lucas says.

Yann raises an eyebrow. He’s still a bit confused. “So, like... A date?”

“No.” 

“Then why are you so nervous?”

“Because it’s Eliott,” Lucas stresses to him, hoping that simple explanation would be enough for Yann.

Yann lets out a short hum. “Look, man,” he starts and then walks over to Lucas. He grabs one shirt and tosses it back in the closet and then walks off, Lucas glancing down at the shirt that he had been wearing earlier that day. “If that’s the case, don’t bother stressing over what shirt to wear. Start stressing about where to eat. You can both be pretty indecisive about that shit.”

Lucas rolls his eyes because, yeah, he can be indecisive about that but Yann doesn’t need to point it out so blatantly. Or, maybe he does. Because he has a point. He ignores that bit for now, though, and instead focuses on the first part as he slips his shirt back on. “But I don’t want to look like horse shit next to him. Have you seen Eliott?”

“Yes, actually.” Yann leans against the door frame and crosses his arms. “But hey -- listen, you have a girlfriend, Lucas, and whether you like her or not, you can’t go cheating on her. If you think anything can happen between you and Eliott, you gotta break up with Chloe first.”

Slowly, Lucas nods. He understands where Yann is coming from and why, and Lucas actually doesn’t plan on cheating on Chloe; she’s sweet and nice, the problem was just that he didn’t like her the way she wanted him to and he didn’t have the guts to break it off with her yet. He runs a hand through his hair and glances at his phone on the bed as it lights up with a new message. Lucas grabs it and sees that it’s from Manon, but he doesn’t answer or even read it. He tosses it back on the bed as Yann starts to talk again.

“Hope you have fun with him tonight though, bro,” Yann honestly says with a smile, beginning to leave Lucas’ room. “I gotta go so I’m not late. Don’t do anything Baz would do and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!”

Lucas laughs. “That doesn’t leave me much room!”

Yann grins and laughs, flipping Lucas off as he walks away, the brunet shouting for his best friend to have fun. And then, Lucas was alone in the small apartment once the door shut loudly a few minutes later. He plops down on his bed as he thinks over everything that Yann had said moments earlier. It’s true that he has to break up with Chloe if he wants anything with Eliott, but the other problem is Eliott and Lucille; they’ve been together for four years, and Lucas really doubts that they will break up anytime soon. Groaning in frustration, Lucas falls backwards and throws an arm over his eyes, removing it a few moments later when he gets another message on his phone.

manon.demissy hey don’t forget to give mika & lisa the last bit of rent you owe them from living with them. they need it in 2 weeks. just wanted to remind you :) and can you help with a bake sale Wednesday? pretty please??

Lucas frowns. The rent. Fuck. He hasn’t lived there for at least a few months or so, but still he has yet to fully pay Mika and Lisa back from that time. And recently, between work and school and splitting rent with Yann, he’s forgotten about them a bit. He’s not about to let Manon know that, though, so he answers her as if nothing is wrong.

He chuckles to himself at Manon’s excitement before tossing his phone back on the bed, the smile soon going away as the thought of paying back Mike and Lisa consumed his mind. Up until four months ago he had the help of his dad. Now? Now, he’s on his own, because his mom couldn’t help at all, and he was a legal adult so it isn’t that big of a deal. It’s just paying two friends back from staying with them throughout most of his high school career and doing his best on not falling behind on rent in the current place he lived in with his best friend.

Lucas runs his hands down his face, wondering how the hell he got stuck in his situation. Well, he doesn’t have to wonder for too long, because the terrible fights with his father come back, especially that big one that ended up with him knocking on Yann’s doorstep in tears after leaving his dad’s place, unable to go to his mom’s because he didn’t want to disturb her, or even Mika’s because he had lost the key. He groans, pressing the palms of his hands against his eyes, pushing those memories of that night away before abruptly getting up and going to the living room to watch some TV.

It’s dark outside. He’s hungry. Nothing good is currently playing on TV. And Eliott is no where to be seen. Lucas has texted Eliott a few times, trying to figure out where the older guy was and if he’s actually coming. Actually, it wasn’t even a few times. Lucas spammed Eliott, and even called him a few times. Each time, he never answered. At first, Lucas got worried. Then angry. Then worried again, because Eliott never intentionally ignores Lucas for this long. But then, suddenly, Lucas was angry again.

Lucas rolls his eyes. He probably shouldn’t be so mad, but he was. Or, maybe it was disappointment he felt. Either way, he replied with a short ‘sure whatever’ and laid across the couch, sulking and brewing in his own jealousy and frustration at himself. Because, of course, his plans with his crush wouldn’t go as he wanted them too. Not at all. 

His phone then lights up again and he doesn’t want to look at it -- he wants to be a bit petty and just ignore Eliott completely, not even wanting to let Eliott know he read the message. But he reads it anyway, curiosity getting the best of him.

Lucas just stares at the message. Of course it Lucille had been involved. He can still be petty, right? Right. So, he left Eliott on read and with another roll of his eyes, he locks his phone and puts it on the coffee table, only to reach for it a minute later. He got out of his messages with Eliott to send a message to someone else. He could tell already that he was going to regret his descion later, but at the current moment in time Lucas Lallemant doesn’t care. The slightest bit hurt and hungry, he can’t care that much right now.

lucallemant hey, chloe! wanna grab some food with me? but just to mcdonalds or something. nothing fancy

It doesn’t take too long for Chloe to answer, sending him an excited yes, and then Lucas is turning off the TV and slipping on some shoes, not bothering to change into different clothes before telling Chloe to just meet up with him there. He then grabs his wallet and the key to the apartment, and leaves.

The walk to McDonalds isn’t a long walk at all, so Lucas gets there rather quickly. He stays outside of the white, yellow and red building as he waits for Chloe, staying on his phone most of the time. He doesn’t know how long he stood there, but suddenly a pair of small arms were around him and lips were pressed to his cheeks. It startles him at first until his brain makes the connection that the person is Chloe and not some creepy stranger, and he puts on a smile as he puts his phone in his pocket. He hugs her back and then moves away, motioning with his head to the entrance of the fast food place.

“C’mon, lets go. I’m starving,” he says.

Chloe nods. “Oh, same here. Lunch wasn’t so good today, and I’ve only had a couple of snacks. Didn’t eat breakfast, either,” she tells him as they go in, quietly thanking Lucas as he holds open the door for her. “And you’re paying, right? I kinda assumed, I’m sorry, but-.”

“No, its fine,” Lucas says, interrupting her.

And, honestly, it wasn’t fine; he hadn’t been planning on paying for Chloe’s food as well, which is a dumb conclusion on his part of things, but that just takes more out of what he was going to pay Mika back with. The lie wasn’t noticed by Chloe, thankfully, so that tiny bit of conversation ends rather quickly, and soon Lucas is paying for them both after they order. It pains him somewhat because, fuck, that meant he has to work a bit more these upcoming couple of weeks and he really didn’t want to – but he didn’t want to face Mika’s wrath, either. So, he doesn’t complain about it or say anything to Chloe, and just pays for the food without any words coming from him. Then not too long after, the two college students are sitting across from one another at one of the smaller tables, enjoying the fast food.

“Thank you for this, Lucas,” Chloe speaks up after they’re both about halfway done.

He looks up from devouring his burger and to Chloe. Thinking of his manners first, he chews and swallows, then gave a tiny, thin lipped smile. “No problem,” he says. “I needed to eat, so did you. I didn’t want to go alone, so…” He trails off and shrugs, not including anything about Eliott.

They talk to each other for the next half an hour or so as they finish eating. It wasn’t as miserable like Lucas had believed it was going to be earlier on his walk to McDonalds, but it wasn’t the best, either. During their conversations, he genuinely laughs – they both do, actually – and doesn’t mind being in Chloe’s company, but he would much rather be with someone else which puts everything a bit more on the downside. Despite having an okay time, he doesn’t try to reach for her hand or anything like that. She clearly wants him to, but he just doesn’t budge. He stays leaned back in his seat, occasionally checking his phone incase Yann got back before him, or incase Eliott decided to try and text him again.

Their little hangout – Lucas refuses to call it a date – then comes to an end. But before either of them leave, Lucas rushes to the bathroom just to have a few short minutes by himself before Chloe tries to kiss him at some point. And then he walks out, only to want to rush back into the bathroom and hide. There stands Eliott with Lucille in line to order something, both dressed nicely from head to toe, and Lucas felt his mouth fall open at the sight of his crush – both from surprise and how good he looks. Lucas, now panicking, spins in a small circle because he has no idea what to do. Oh, how badly he wants to go and hide in the bathroom, but unfortunately he can’t leave Chloe there. Well, he could. He would just have a girl pissed at him afterward.

So, Lucas puts on a brave face and looks down at his phone, acting as if he was texting someone, as he walks by, only looking up as he got closer to Chloe. He puts on another smile, seeing she threw away the trash already and forces himself to take her hand as she stands up. She then kisses him and it throws him off for a split second until he reminds himself he has to kiss her back, and he does. And then they leave.

“Chloe?”

Almost leave, he should say. Just as they got to the door, Lucille noticed Chole, recognizing the younger girl from that led to all four of them hanging out, which then led to Lucas and Eliott being alone and thus causing the current problem Lucas has.

Chloe gasps and rushes to Lucille, the two girls hugging, and Lucas slowly walks up. “Hi! How are you, Lucille? You look amazing!”

“Thank you, so do you! What about you? Oh- hi, Lucas, sorry.”

Lucas gives her a small, obviously forced smile. “Hey.” Then, he looks up at Eliott, the smile falling. He doesn’t say anything.

Eliott is obviously surprised to see Lucas, too, but the shorter boy doesn’t say anything about it; he just stays standing there. Both of them do. All the while, their girlfriends are happily conversing beside them. “Lucas, I- I didn’t mean to blow you off like that,” Eliott eventually speaks. “I’m sorry.”

Lucas shrugs nonchalantly despite screaming on the inside. “It’s fine,” he says, tone short. It just made Eliott frown. Lucas sighs. He hates seeing Eliott upset. So, he tries again, this time sounding much nicer than before. “It’s fine, truly,” he says again. “We can talk more tomorrow at school if we see each other, okay?”

“Okay.”

Lucas gives him a tiny smile and then gets Chloe’s attention. The two say bye to Eliott and Lucille, and then leave.

And once Lucas got home, he falls face first into his bed, wanting to scream and maybe even cry.

Adrigami Week Day 2- Ice Skating (Chapter Two)

She stood on the ice rink, a feeling of pure defeat heavy on her chest. Adrien had just left her to chase after Marinette Dupin-Cheng. She sighed as she felt a presence behind her, she turned to see Marinette’s date, Luka.

“I’m sure, they’ll be back soon. Would you like to skate?” He smiled sweetly. Kagami felt herself tense up, she wasn’t very comfortable with strangers.

“Doesn’t it both you?” She mumbled as she glared in the general direction they had run off too. She turned her head back towards Luka to see his brow furrowed.

“I’m only human so, yes, I get jealous but I’m not worried if that’s what your asking.” He finally answered. It was Kagami’s turn to furrow her brow, what did he mean? Luka must have sensed her confusion and took pity on the poor girl. “I like Marinette, a lot. I also already knew that she had feelings for someone else before getting involved with her.” He made a pointed look towards the direction the pair ran off.

“But why did you even bother if you knew she wouldn’t return your feelings?” Kagami snapped, arms crossed over her chest.

“Why did you?” He calmly asked as he skated passed her to exist the ice rink.

Kagami’s cool expression fell as she slipped a little on the ice. Regaining her balance, she whipped her head around to face Luka to see he had already left to the changing rooms. Biting her lip in worry she thought hard about his question. She had her suspicions about Adrien’s feelings towards Marinette but she still choose to persue him regardless. Even when he asked her on this date, it was just after confessing his feelings for another, yet she still accepted, why? Perhaps it was because a part of her hoped that he would fall for her instead. She sighed sadly, this was so out of character for her, Tsuguri’s didn’t hope, they took action and succeeded.

A loud commotion sprang her out of her thoughts, making her slip and fall. She landed on the ice with a hard thud. Groaning she picked herself up and looked around, The ice rink was covered top to bottom with ice. What what happen? She looked around but couldn’t see anyone. It must have been an Akuma, her blood ran cold as she realised Adrien could be hurt. Springing to action she skated towards the former edge of the rink and when straight through the gate and down the frozen halls. She turned a sharp corner and saw Adrien at the other end, she opened her mouth to call out to him but was stunned as a bright green glow impaired her vision. She skidded to a sharp stop as she shielded her brown eyes from the blinding glow. A few seconds had past, Kagami rapidly blinked her eyes desperately trying to normalise her vision. Once the blind spots disappeared she glanced back up to the end of the hallway just in time to see Chat Noir standing where Adrien once was.

Shock burned it way down from her mind and through her veins, a tiny gasp leaving her lips. She snapped her jaw shut, worried she’d been caught but Chatnoir, Adrien, didn’t seem to hear as he ran off to fight the Akuma. Kagami stood there numbly as she tried to calm her raging thoughts.

Chatnoir was Adrien Agreste.

Adrien was a superhero.

Adrien liked Marinette.

But Chatnoir loved Ladybug?

What Chatnoir, Adrien a cheater? No, Adrien was to honest and kind hearted.

Was Marinette, Ladybug? No, the girl was too naive and clumsy.

Did Adrien not really love Marinette? Kagami thought about it. He never said the name of the girl he was in love with out loud. She had just assumed it was Marinette by the way he spoke so fondly of her. But then again, he said his love, loved another and then Marinette showed up to their date with Luka. She frowned once again, so who did he love, Marinette or Ladybug? She needed to find out.

Kagami continued to skate down the hallway after Chatnoir before hearing calls of help, She frozen in panic. There are other citizens here that may be hurt, Ladybug and Adrien were busy fighting the Akuma, someone needed to help them. Turning around she quickly skated towards the cries of help, she would talk to Adrien later.

One Miraculous Ladybug later and Paris was restored to its normal self, all the ice had melted and all the citizens safe. Kagami was standing with Luka by the side of the ice rink, waiting for the other two to regroup up when Marinette came running in. The poor girl tripped over her own two feet before landing by Lukas feet. He smiled fondly as he kneeled down and helped her up, throwing a quick glance at Kagami who was trying to hide a smirk, she wink at the teen who blushed furiously.

“Are you okay, Luka?” Marinette asked softly, her face full of concern. “You’re face is red?” Poor Luka strutted out some lame excuse while Kagami searched the arena for Adrien’s familiar head of hair. She spotted him running towards them from the opposite side of the arena he left from,completely out of breath. She ducked her head and tried to hide her smile, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride for the hero.

“Adrien!” Marinette exclaimed as she turned away from Luka and melted at the sight of the model. Kagami tightened her fist as she tried to calm down, she stole a quick glance towards Luka noticing the teen frowning slightly. Why was Marinette so oblivious to those she keeps hurting. Why would she invite Luka out if she acts like this with Adrien, why did he invite me out if he loved someone else? For the first time in a long time, Kagami found herself sympathising with another person.

“We should get going, it’s getting pretty late.” Adrien said as he turned towards the bench and packed up his belongings. The other three teens followed suit, Kagami silent the whole time as she thought. They bumped into the Ice rink instructed on their way out, turns out he was the idiot who got himself Akumatized. Kagami frowned as she watched Adrien take a photo with the man to upload to his social media, using his fame as a free ad to aid the man. It was a kind gesture, sure, but it was something Adrien already told the man he didn’t want to do. Did he pity the man? Changing his mind, simply because he was akumatised. Hindsight definitely is that (2019 In Review)

What a year…Decade Now.

   All I can honestly take away from this decade is that I watched myself, mature from someone who was in with things staying the same to someone else who knows he doesn’t have to have those with him to make an impact.

  But as hindsight will soon begin, we have to once more take a look at what we set out to do 364 days prior. And previous rules for scoring still applies so we review now.

  1.     Find Someone (I’m 30 I Got To)         Result: Split     When it came to this, I got extremely close this year. A wedding had me talk up with a lot of people I never knew saw me as potential despite my limitations.

2.    Attend An NFL Game         Result: Fail Plenty of reason to attend a game this year as it was the 100th season but sadly still only saw them on TV.

3.    Learn Sign Language         Result: Split Closer on this and actually was able to talk with someone for a minute before she began doing it rapidly and lost focus. Need to drill this down.

4.   Lose Enough Weight Where I don’t Feel It       Result: No Descion

Fluctuation still plays her fiddle with me.

 5.    Do Something I Never Pictured Doing        Result: Pass Attended 2 weddings with my Mom as a Plus 1 and didn’t mind It at all. 

6.   Build EMAC LMTD. Bigger       Result: Pass Made wedding videos and actually had to have a DJ set it up. Wow that is big.

  7.    Drink Alcohol Only Once (Preferably Champagne at a specific wedding in May)        Result: Fail Was never able to drink the bubbly, and in some cases that was a really smart idea.
