it takes a lot for him to even think about anyone in that way. he's so dedicated to asgard— focused on protecting his home that a relationship is the last thing on his mind

you catch his attention as soon as he lays eyes on you. you're skilled in battle, talented with various different weapons and you seem competent enough for him to not have to keep an eye on you

he appreciates that, even if you don't realize it

don't get me wrong, he'll still be annoying and cocky with you. that won't change. but he'll think of you in a slightly brighter light because of your skills

you pay his words no mind, and it bothers him that he doesn't really get to you like he does to other people. your lack of response doesn't make him stop, though

reminds me of when you're a kid and someone'll bully you and an adult will say "oh, he just likes you." except this time he actually likes you

he realizes his feelings relatively early on, much to his dismay and annoyance. he has better things to focus on, so why is his mind completely occupied by you? it bothers him

it takes you MUCH longer to even think of him as anything other than a bother. he's obnoxious and he tends to get in the way of everything you try to do, but when he finally gives you some space (solely because he's thinking of his own feelings) you begin to miss him

it's strange. you didn't like his company before and you figured he didn't like it either, so why were you missing him so badly?

it feels empty without him around, so when he returns to your side you feel strange. you'll never tell him you missed him. he would get worse if you did so

he's actually the one to confess first. he doesn't want to. he hates feeling exposed in that way, but he can't keep it in forever and it's better to be rejected than feel that burning in his chest every time he looks at you

when he finds out you like him too??? he's a menace. giggly and incredibly hyper. it feels so good to have someone like him— especially someone like you

even in a relationship, he'll still be teasing you. except it's much more playful and he's more willing to stop for you than anyone else

you're the only person who doesn't get on his nerves

you're the only person who can actually ease his nerves, too. you know just how to calm him and his mind down, like when atreus comes along to assist odin

you can tell his mind is racing, and you pull him off to the side and reassure him that it'll all be okay and to leave him alone for now

people wonder how you can be in a relationship with him, given how rude he can be. in private, though.. it's a whole other story

away from prying eyes, heimdall is a bit of a sap. he'll always make sure you're comfortable first and foremost. he doesn't want to mess anything up and having you move on to better gods

he really does love you, but he has trouble expressing it with his words. it's acts of service where he really shines!

sick? he's by your side with everything you need. injured? he's the one taking care of you. something just out of your reach? he's got it for you. he'll essentially take care of anything you'll ever need, on top of all of that

he isn't very big on physical touch in public. he prefers to keep affection like that behind closed doors. he thinks it's more genuine that way

though, he is okay with a kiss on your forehead, the crown of your head, etc

definitely the type of guy to bow and kiss your knuckles when he sees you

in private, he's more willing to other things beyond just that. like real kisses

he's very good at it, but no one is surprised. you'll kiss him just to shut him up. he blabbers a lot and it can get annoying. he gets very flustered

anyway

his kisses are very passionate and filled with vigor. he's excited for them, honestly. it fills his heart to the brim with joy knowing he has you in a way no one else will

with his foresight, he'll know exactly what you're planning on doing and move out of the way just to tease you. if you're wanting to put your hands in his hair, he'll tilt his head just out of your reach

it does make you feel a bit embarrassed, but his ability is a bit attractive somehow. it just reminds you of how powerful he is. how safe you feel with him, knowing he can protect you

and he will protect you, by the way

he'll go up against anyone to keep you (or your honor) safe. if anyone says anything bad about you, they'll have to face heimdall. there's no getting out of it unless you intervene

he has a lot of different nicknames for you. he calls you "darling" a lot. it's a classic, but the way it rolls off his tongue makes your heart flutter a bit :")

some others include "sunshine" "dove" "beloved"

he'll call you whatever he feels will get you the most flustered in the moment

he loves the effect he has on you. it makes him feel better about himself

he has a lot to worry about but knowing you'll always be there to cheer him up makes everything worth it

I know you have a lot of Gamora asks but I need to share with someone.(If any of this is too much and you don't want to post I'll understand)

I liked parts of vol 3 but the rest of it is tainted for me because I can't let go of how Gamora was treated and I don't think anyone else should either. Gamora's death was too eerily similar to cruel, careless losses of life we've seen for people in real life. The way fans have brushed it off as justifiable has been too eerily similar. The way most of the characters who were supposed to be her family brushed it off was too eerily similar. Gamora's life mattered and only 2 people acted like it did thereby having the entire canon suggest that she was barely important to the family she helped create and the story she she had been a big part of.

You can literally see the hierarchy of whose lives were considered important and whose weren't when looking at the deaths in IW and EG. Loki, Vision, Tony and Natasha all had already completed their arcs either in a separate trilogy(loki)or were Avengers dying in an Avengers centered event. They all didn't die completely alone. They didn't die back in the same exact hell they had escaped from. They all got visual on screen mourning from all the characters who knew them best and/or a show or movie that further explored their lives, importance and/or grief around what happened to them. Then you have Heimdall who didn't die alone and Thor was upset but beyond that not much else. Last you get Gamora who died alone. Was back with her abuser. Reduced back into a tool for her abuser to use. Had her soul forever tied to her abusers actions. Most of her family doesn't appear to have cared she died and in fact pretend she didn't die and instead just can't remember them. Which even then they don't care she can't remember them. And everyone but Peter pretends she never played any importance to the family and didn't contribute to who and what the guardians are. Most of them also didn't even speak to her past self or notice her existence. If all of this isn't enough look at how Gunn treated Yondu's death and then look back at Gamora's.

Now am I really supposed to believe all of that is a coincidence. And even if it is a coincidence that doesn't change the harm. That doesn't change the mcu objectively putting out a broad story that makes it look like Gamora was expendable and we should forget about what came before her death because it's not like most of her family cared anyway. They don't even credit Gamora for the end of Nebula's arc taking on the care of the kids when it was literally Gamora in vol 2 who said there were kids out there who needed saving and they could help them. Like come on now. They could easily have Nebula say it's something Gamora wanted us to do together or I think Gamora would be so happy to see this. They couldn't even acknowledge Gamora had hopes and dreams that will never be fulfilled

Again maybe this wasn't done on purpose but it still paints a certain picture. If people want to say it doesn't matter just look around at how many fans and the general audience are taking it and what they are saying about her and her worth. It would have taken 1 minute to have Drax and Mantis say they miss Gamora too while talking to Peter. The holiday special easily could have had all of them take 2 minutes to discuss Gamora or have Drax say, yeah I miss her too this is hard when Mantis said Peter was still so sad. Even a stranger could have more compassion and empathy for Gamora's death and the new situation she's in than most of her family. Also why can nobody say murder victim, abuse victim, killed when talking to Peter. Why are they trying to downplay what happened. She doesn't have amnesia. She was murdered and then poor past Gamora was denied ever getting to know them by the events of Endgame. By the end of the movie as much as I love these characters I was glad both Gamora and Peter left. You don't try to gaslight a grieving person into thinking the person they loved isn't really dead and wasn't killed when the whole movie is about how Gamora died and her past self never got to live that life. You don't not speak to past Gamora even if just once to say I'm glad you're in the future and found something you love because you deserve it. All of this hurts so much. Especially seeing some fans say she got a good arc and nothing was wrong. Would they honestly choose this over say what Yondu got if someone asked them choose how you get to die and how the aftermath is handled. Then there are other fans trying to act like not even Peter loved her or that she doesn't need love anyway. This whole thing is sickening.

Honestly the more I think about the difference between Gamora’s death and anyone else’s death, the angrier I get. But tbh it’s the worst when I think about Yondu. In every other circumstance you can chalk it up to just being different writers or directors or creative directions, but when you directly compare the difference between yondu and Gamora, Gunn’s favoritism becomes pretty clear imo. I truly don’t know why so many people are seemingly okay with how she’s been treated over the last 5 years. It’s even surprising to me how many apparent fans seem to be okay as long as she’s still technically “alive” and wanna get on people’s cases if they express anything other than extreme approval with how she’s been handled

While you're watching Endgame, it comes to and end. Thanos is gone and the avengers saved the day. Tony retires, Steve is with his love of his love, Clint is with his family again, Natasha and Bruce are enjoying life together but... Thor, thor? What is he doing? The avengers split up, in a good way, and a new team assembled. But him? He's somewhere, on a rooftop and it's early in the morning.

Everything was reversed but he still couldn't find, the two remaining people who stayed with him. His best friend, and Loki. Everyone was happy but him? He was lonely on a rooftop and waiting, for what, you ask? The sun, he's waiting for the sun to rise.

He turned around when he heard footsteps, he saw something so unbelievable and he couldn't believe it. He stood from his spot, and faced the boy who was with him through the very start. Who he protected, and failed, and the one who protected him. He caused mischief, he caused trouble, but still loves his brother with all his heart.

And the sight of Loki, his brother, made his heart ache. Though, with all the heartbreak he still couldn't believe it. "You're just a hallucination, you wouldn't be here..." He mumbled to himself as he stared at his brother who's smirk was still on his lips. Thor reached in his pockets and grabbed whatever object he held. He looked at it, it was identical with the object he last threw at his brother before he... Died

The shell like object rest on his palm and he gripped tightly on it. "If only you were here, brother..." He said, a bit loudly for his brother to hear. He threw the object at him, just to make the figure disappear. Though, with a small hope in his heart that he wouldn't.

Loki put his hand up, and grabbed the object before it could hit him. His brother's eyes widen and was shocked to see the figure hold up the object. With a low voice, the younger whispered "I'm here" while he was on the edge of crying. Thor didn't take another moment to waste and ran to his brother, crying in his embrace.

The big oaf never cried, and his cries were louder than he had expected. His grip on his brother was tight but he didn't care. He could feel him, his presence, his body. He was there and that was the only thing that matters. Loki wanted to cry to, but he didn't and stood strong for the both of them. "I'm here brother... And I told you..." He paused for his brother to finish the sentence with him.

Chapter 19

Summary : You meet thor again and loki does what he can to bring his birdy back to him.

Warning : Talk of blood, violence and past abuse, mentions of cheating. Gets emotional

When he got to know about his mother probably seeing a new man, he absolutely went bonkers, he booked an emergency flight straight for LA. Has she not been hurt enough? Why would she even trust anyone again? He couldn't sit and watch her sabotage her peace again so he went there, found out that the guy was only in it for her money and beat the shit out of him. 

Took him few days to gauge his reality, he was so engrossed with wanting to protect her mother that he didn't think of you much, he definitely would miss you when he finally went to bed at nights, when his mind would finally take a break from having to be worried sick about his mother, he would miss you, not in a sexual manner, just you being close to him, but he didn't give it much thought. He will see you when he goes back. But he didn't know that he would be too late.

You waited for him to text, or call, in the last 3 days you were there in New York, but he didn't, he honestly disappeared so you called heimdall once and he told you that they were in LA for business. You asked him to not tell Loki that you called as you didn't want to embarass yourself further. You decided to leave early because what's the point in staying if you have to leave 3 days later?

"Now I gotta find a new roommate" Tonya told you as she watched you pack your stuff, you haven't gotten too attached to her in the last three months, she didn't stay there most of the time, and she has been a sucky friend to be honest.

"You don't need it" you smiled at her and she shrugged "Something going on between you and Loki?" You asked her just to be sneaky and she looked at you curiously "No ever since I slept with his brother he has been avoiding me, I think he is jealous" you looked at her dumbfounded, either she was highly delusional or she was saving face in front of you. Either way you pitied her.

But then you realised that, that's how you were with Jack, you could never see how he played you all this time, you probably never could have seen it if it wasn't for Loki forcefully opening your eyes with his long slender fingers. You didn't even tell Jack that you were leaving. Let him sulk for a while.

You left for the station as you couldn't afford a flight ticket, Tonya demanded that you pay the rent for this month even though you lived there only for 5 days after your new month started.

14 hours journey back to your hometown, you will have a lot of time to think about this, he didn't call you, he didn't really care did he? You rewinded the last night you spent with him, he consoled you while he fed you. He fed you, Jack never did that. Then he tried to make you see that you'd do well in New York. Maybe someday when you're healed you can come back and make a name for yourself, when you're not so emotionally dependent on your ex or this enigma in the form of a human named Loki.

You sat down on the platform bench as your train got delayed, soon a man walked over and sat next to you. You recognised him, it's Loki's brother Thor. He was a giant man too, why were they so tall? 

"Hello lady, remember me?" He asked you and you sighed "No?" You told him and he snickered, he had long blonde hair and he kept it clutched from the center just like Loki did Sometimes.

"Going somewhere?" He asked you and you smiled "I wouldn't be here to sell trolley bags right?" You said sarcastically and he made an ooof noise as he heard you and then he laughed "I see why he likes you" he commented and you blushed "He doesn't like me, you have been mistaken since that day" you told him and he smiled again

 "This speaks otherwise" he gave you an envelope and you took it from him hesitantly, when you opened it, it had pictures of you with Loki, taken sneakily in Milidiar when he took you there for dinner, more than a month ago.

"So this is what you do? Sneak on your brother in your spare time?" You huffed and he chuckled "I wouldn't have to if he would just talk to me like a brother should" you glared at him as you heard him, as much as Loki told you about his past you couldn't help but wonder where was Thor all this time? Did he not see their mother getting abused? 

"There must be a reason he doesn't want to" you told him and he got serious "Yes want me to tell you the reason?" He asked you and you shook your head in no "Well I'll do it anyways, he feels betrayed by me because I chose father's side or so he likes to think" he told you and you huffed,

"Yeah why did you? He tortured your mother for years" you told him and he glared at you "For someone who claims to not know him you know enough about him" he snickered and you composed yourself "Everything is on internet these days, you must not know that since you look like you belong in 1800s" 

You had no idea why you felt so snappy with him but he pissed you off greatly, you were defending Loki even when he wasn't there to see or hear.

"Nice chatting up with you but my train is here" you told him and he stood up as you did "Oh mine too" he laughed and that's when you noticed the small handbag he had with him "Why are you going to Cleveland? Are you stalking me? " You yelled at him a little scared, it was late at night , if this giant 6feet big bulky man kidnapped you, there's nothing you would be able to do except kick him a few times and fail miserably.

"Oh lady, no offense but you're not my type" he snickered and you rolled your eyes "Besides, my little brother's girlfriend would be like my sister" he winked at you. You calmed yourself down as you focused on the word sister, but then you realized that he called you Loki's girlfriend.

"I'm not his girlfriend, Tonya slept with him, also there's a girl cary, who he took to dinner once, I'm just a fan" you lied to him and he laughed.

"Tonya slept with him? But so did a thousand other girls from New York" he told you and you sighed. He's not wrong about that.

14 hours with the weird brother of the guy you didn't even get to fuck. Great, journey back home couldn't have been more exciting.

After two days When loki came back from LA, his first thought was to get to you, so he called you but your phone was turned off, then he texted you on Instagram and you didn't respond him there either, you were about to leave in two days and he wanted to stop you, he wanted to tell you that he, that he wanted you to stay, why? He didn't know why but he knew he missed you and he needed you close.

When a few hours passed and he didn't hear from you, he got worried, were you still upset with him? Well You should be.

After his fight he asked Heimdall to take him to your apartment, but as he got there Tonya buzzed him in instead. He couldn't just ask her straight up about you, so he got in and looked around for you "I was about to head out but I'll cancel my plans, I knew you would come someday" she giggled and he just wanted to disappear, things he found Adorable when you did it, pissed him off greatly when she did it.

"Don't cancel your plans, I think I forgot my watch in your room that night, can you go look?" He asked her and she scurried away to look for it and he used the opportunity to go to your room but it seemed empty, too empty, he had a dreadful feeling instantly as he stepped inside your room. The frame you kept of your parents on the bedside drawer was gone, he opened your closet and your clothes were not there.

"You can be my new roomie hottie" he gripped the handle of your closet tightly as he got the confirmation. His eyes tearing up, You left. He didn't stop you, he should have asked you to stay. But he didn't, he allowed you to slip.

"What happened to your old roommate" he asked stoically, his voice strained as he closed the door of the closet slowly "She left 3 days ago, not too sad about it, because she was kind of boring, I need a fun roommate" he clenched his jaw as he heard her refer to you like that, you are not boring, far from it. So sweet, so kind, a bit judgemental about him but he won't judge you for that. His heart wrenching as he thought about other people in your life making you feel as if you were boring or just not good enough. He should have stopped you. Should have called you. Why didn't he? 

"Find where Y/n is in Ohio and tell me as soon as you can" he told Heimdall as he got inside the car and Heimdall looked at him suspiciously "She called once when we were in LA" He told Loki and he was enraged at the information.

"I gotta go" he stormed out of her apartment leaving her all confused. He had no idea where you lived in Ohio, he never asked, he didn't even know your parent's name but he wanted to find out about you.

"Why wouldn't you tell me that?" He raised his voice and Heimdall glared at him "Because she asked me not to" he raised his voice too and loki calmed down a little.

"You work for her or me?" Loki asked him arrogantly and heimdall looked away "For you boss" he mumbled before he pulled the partition up. For the next two days, Heimdall looked for you but he didn't find much information. It was hard to look for you without a specific location and limited information. 

He had a fight today, no champion has ever won 15 consecutive matches ever in the history of WWE, no matter who they put against him, he was only winning ever since he lost that fight. In the evening he sent you an important message but you didn't respond as usual.

As he was getting ready in his dressing room he couldn't help but think about you, if you were there, you'd probably make his bun for him, or suck him off against the door. Nurse him adorably after his fight, even though he would always insist otherwise, he liked the touch of care. He missed your tiny little body on top of him as you sat on his lap, he missed your voice, he missed how you'd melt into him like butter against a hot knife. He needed you to get back to him.

It's been 5 days since you got back to Cleveland, after that weird journey you took with Thor and whatever he told you, you were trying to keep yourself away from him and Loki and everything that reminded you of New York, you even turned off the number you gave to him and stayed away from all kinds of social media especially Instagram. You were living with your parents since you came back, you were going to find a job and a place to stay soon. When you told them about Jack, they didn't believe you, such a nice boy they said, how could he do this. They were disappointed that you gave up so easily on the relationship.

You couldn't argue much since you were living off them practically. You turned the tv on, you didn't want to tune into the sports channel but your fingers itched to see him, and there he was, looking magnificent as ever, just how he looked the first time you saw him. For the first time you watched his fight without cringing or closing your eyes at the blood, you watched him defeat his opponent, you watched his smile and his eyes twinkling as he did. He's beautiful. He's so beautiful.

It was a much anticipated match, he pulled in a huge crowd, you thought about your life in New York, and you couldn't believe that he actually invited you again and again to see him there. It hurt you to think that he forgot about you so quickly but whatever time he spent with you, he made you feel so good about yourself, as if he cared about you, as if he wanted you more than just sex . Jack never made you feel so wanted. So sexy, So desirable.

They were interviewing him after the fight so you turned the volume up so you could hear his voice, the anchor interviewing him seemed excited as hell as he asked his question "Oh my god Loki, you're actually a god of wrestling, aren't you? Great fight, all of us were rooting for you honestly, a history has been made, how do you feel?

Loki smiled as he heard the anchor and he tucked a piece of his hair behind his ear. He was sweaty and in a robe, reminding you of the night you sucked him in his dressing room.

"Thanks man, you're kind. I'm glad I could do it, it was truly a dream" he answered politely.

"Any plans for MMA, we heard the rumors" he asked him again and you could tell he was clenching his jaw at the mention of the sport.

"Nothing as of yet, no" he again answered politely and the man shook his hand.

"Thank man, lovely catching up with you" he said to loki but loki interrupted him.

"Ahh can I say something?" He laughed and the man anchored his microphone towards him "Sure go ahead man, it's your day and its our honor" the anchor seemed excited with the more scoop he was going to get from the man of the hour.

"Okay when I was 6, my mother, mama I love you if you're watching" he smiled, she never watch his fights, he knows that, then he continued to speak "She got me this bird, a cockatoo, sweet sweet thing, very dear to my heart, she grew up with me, and one day she flew away because of someone, and I lost her" his smile faltered and you sat up on the couch. You had a weird feeling.

"Awn, what was her name?" the man asked him and he looked right into the camera before he answered, and you teared up instantly as he did.

"Birdy, I was just a kid, couldn't come up with anything the first time I saw her so that's what I called her, birdy, instantly felt connected to her in a strange way" his voice got softer and softer as he continued. You took a deep breath as you heard him.

"Oh man that makes me sad" the anchor commented and Loki composed himself.

"Yeah very sad, anyways umm, birdy made such a huge impact on my life in the little amount of time I had with her, and I ..uhh I just want her to know that I miss her, and I never wanted her to leave, but I couldn't say it and I knew she wouldn't understand because she is just a little birdy" he chuckled and you couldn't stop the tears that fell from your eyes, your mind said he was just sharing a cute childhood story, but your heart said he was sending you a message maybe? You hoped so.

"That's the cutest thing I have ever heard, you guys cried at Titanic? I'm gonna cry thinking about this, but I have to ask, is this story true?" The host asked him and he shook his head in yes.

"Absolutely true, I won't lie man, I hope she gets what I'm trying to say, she's very dear to my heart and I miss her, she flew away somewhere and I hope she gets back to me somehow, that's it " 

You turned the tv off after that and you paced around your room back and forth, he wanted you to contact him? He missed you? He called you birdy because he had a pet named birdy who he lost? That made you cry even more, you thought there wasn't more to him but he was like an onion, you kept peeling the layers off and there was another soft layer hiding underneath. But is it possible that he was talking about his pet Birdy? No. Yes Maybe. Maybe not.

As he got inside his car, Heimdall looked at him "You did good, hope she reaches out" he said to Loki and Loki looked at him "I was talking about birdy, remember the cockatoo mama gave me for my 6th birthday?" He said nonchalantly and heimdall smirked 

"How can I forget?" He started driving after that and Loki smiled a little as he pulled the partition up. He talked to his mother and she congratulated him, he made an excuse and cut the call before she could question more about him bringing up Birdy out of nowhere, after so many years, he did love that bird with all his heart. He had several calls and messages after his huge win but he was only eager to hear from one person. You.

 He was losing hope as the time passed, when he reached his place, he kept checking his phone, but he got nothing from you, but late at night as he was about to drift to sleep, all hopeless and sad, his phone pinged and he sat up on the bed as he opened the dm, he got on Instagram.

He didn't stop smiling all night as he realised that he was fucked. Truly, Insanely, Utterly fucked.

*Thor: Love and Thunder SPOILERS*

Sorry for the long delay. Honestly, I forgot to do this cause work and D&D. 😆 Here's the last part of my thoughts on this movie.

So, Mjolnir gives Jane the powers of Thor, making her stronger, but is making her cancer worse every time she transforms. Y'know, when Thor asked Mjolnir to watch over Jane, I don't this is what he meant. Still, this was something from the comics.

Speaking of the comics, Jane dies like she does there. Even gives Thor a last kiss before she dies. The difference is her body turns into gold particles like Frigga and Odin when they died. There's a post-credit scene where she arrives in Valhala and meets Heimdall. Question is, is she dead permanently or is she gonna come back as a Valkyrie like in the comics? Well, at the moment, she's dead....which is gonna piss off some fans. Cause they got Mighty Thor and she dies in the end.😅

Speaking of pissing off some fans, Valkyrie doesn't participate in the climax of the movie. Cause she gets stabbed by Gorr so she's gotta sit out from the final battle.

I've been trying to figure out why Gorr brought the children with him to Eternity's lair, but the only reason I could think of is to further use them as hostages just in case. If not, then there's really no point in bringing the kids along with him. I mean, he got what he wanted to get to Eternity, no need for the kids.

Oh wait! There is a reason for the kids to be there....TO FIGHT GORR'S SHADOW MONSTERS WITH THOR'S POWER! I'M NOT KIDDING!!! 🤣 Thor temporarily give the children the power of Thor, and they fight those monster....SINCE WHEN CAN HE DO THAT?!?!?! Like, don't get me wrong. Seeing a little girl use her stuffed bunny to shoot lightning out of its eyes is hilarious (dunno if in a bad or good way), and that was the one scene that got a laugh out of me (again, dunno if in a good or bad way). But, since when can Thor give his power to other people?! He never did that. EVER! The only explanation I could think of is that he used Zeus' lightning bolt to do that cause the lightning was yellow, not blue like Thor's lightning. That or you have to be a believer/worshipper or whatever to Thor. But, if it's not any of these, then what the hell?! He could've imbued his power to the Avengers and the Wakandan soldiers in Infinity War! He could've imbued his power to anyone during that huge battle in Endgame! It could've given them more of an edge against Thanos' army and put up more of a fight against Thanos! So, WHAT THE HELL WRITERS?!

So, I had to look this up cause I think I missed this in the movie. Apparently, the necrosword was slowly killing Gorr and when it got destroyed, he was going to die.

Gorr just stops his revenge plan when he's so close, cause Thor said that he wants love not revenge, and he chooses love. He goes to Jane, holding her when she's dying and seeing this Gorr is reminded of the time he's holding his dying daughter and that's enough to convince him to not kill all the gods but wish his daughter back. My boyfriend had a theory that Eternity reincarnated as Gorr's daughter, which would explain why she can shoot lazer beams out of her eyes, why her silhouette looked like space like Eternity's and why Eternity disappeared. But, I believe he's wrong, cause I think she has a bit of Eternity's power.

I think learning self defense should've been the first thing the Asgardians should've done for the children when they arrived on Earth. These guys got attacked a lot back in Asgard and Earth gets attacked a lot by aliens, evil robots, enhanced beings, evil secret organizations, etc...well, better late than never I guess. Also, that would mean that those kids didn't have any fighting skills when they fought those shadow monsters. But, at least we get to see Sif training Axl, and she's okay now....even though she one arm....yeah, that'll probably be the last we'll see Sif. 😕

Also, I had NO IDEA about this, but I looked it up. Gorr's daughter's name is Love. Now, I don't know if that's the name Gorr gave her or if Thor gave her that name, but I do know one thing....it's the reason why the movie is called Love & Thunder. Korg was doing the ending narration and said the two were known as "Love and Thunder". When we heard that, we groaned cause it was lame. But, yeah, Thor's a dad/uncle now and they go across the galaxy to help those who need it....wasn't that what he tried to do with the Guardians of the Galaxy? Have space adventures with them only now it's with his...adopted daughter/niece I wanna say?

Oh and he got Mjolnir back. Still got the cracks but it's back....and Love put makeup on it to look pretty....yay.

Hercules is coming to the MCU. I would be excited cause I like Hercules, but I'm worried over how the MCU will mess up this character as well. Either way, he and Zeus are gonna be future antagonists to Thor and Zeus sends Hercules to go kill Thor. He looks okay, but I think I need to rewatch that scene to get a better look.

So, yeah, I think that's all that I gotta say about this movie. I thought it wasn't good, and I think it's even worse than Ragnarok. Hell, I think this was the worst Thor movie out of the four we got so far. That's all my thoughts. See ya later.

When they returned to the compound, everything was exactly how they left it.

It was as if this world altering event hadn’t happened. Inside the compound, it was as though the entire team would walk back in after the battle. But they wouldn’t. Half of them were gone.

Nobody had really accepted what had happened yet and it seemed like everyone was moving in slow motion. They retreated to corners of the compound where their breakdowns couldn’t be publicised. Steve and Nat attempted contact with missing team members. They tried to find Tony, and turned to Bruce for help.

“I’m really not the person to ask,” Bruce grimaced, taking a seat at the table.

“Bruce, you were the last person to see him on Earth.” Steve reasoned, “Please. Just try and think back. Do you have any idea where he went? What he was doing?”

“He was following the wizard,” Bruce answered, squeezing the bridge of his nose. “Hulk wouldn’t come out and so they banished me— it was a whole thing. I wasn’t there.”

“A wizard?” Nat asked, sharing a look with Steve that she clearly thought Bruce wouldn’t see.

“They took him on their ship, and Tony followed him. That’s all I know. I don’t know where they were going,” Bruce answered, anger flaring up inside him. Not at them, but at himself for being useless. “I’m sorry, you guys. I’m sorry.”

“Well what about Thor?” Steve asked. “What went on with you guys before you came back to Earth? Maybe he knows where Tony is, maybe he saw him.”

“He didn’t,” Bruce snapped, both Steve and Nat flinching at his response. “Don’t— I gotta go.”

He stood up, not bothering to tuck his chair away on exit, leaving Steve and Nat staring at him dumbfounded.

“Bruce—“ Nat called after him.

“Let him go.” Steve’s voice became quieter the further he walked.

Bruce stalked the hallways of the compound with one destination in mind. He didn’t stop until he appeared at Thor’s room, trying to ignore the empty rooms along the way of his fallen team mates.

Except when he arrived at Thor’s room, the door that was usually left wide open, was shut.

He hesitated. Knocked.

Bruce heard shuffling from behind the door and before he could walk away, Thor opened the door.

“Banner,” His face softened as he saw Bruce.

He only walked past Thor and into his room, shutting the door behind him. Thor hesitated by the door before he turned around to face Bruce.

“Why did you do that?” Bruce asked, feeling his nerves get the better of him.

“Excuse me?” Thor asked, “Do what?”

“Why did you get Heimdall to send me back to Earth?” Bruce felt his lip quiver as he spoke and he balled his fists angrily.

Thor sighed, “Bruce—“

“No, Thor, why? Why didn’t you let me stay and help fight?” Bruce was shouting now. “Because I could’ve helped. I wasn’t done. You had no right to just send me away.”

“Thanos had already wounded you enough,” Thor murmured, “We needed someone to warn the others of his plan, that he was coming.”

“Bullshit,” Bruce snapped, “Why did you really do it?”

“You wouldn’t have survived the decimation of the ship. He wiped everyone out minutes after you were gone. He killed—“ Thor stopped and took a breath. “I didn’t want your death to be on my hands, too.”

Bruce’s frown fell. “But everyone—“

“You’re strong, Banner, I know that more than anyone, but you’re not Asgardian strong,” Thor took a seat on the edge of his bed. “We had more of a chance of surviving the decimation than you did.”

“You shouldn’t have made that decision for me, Thor.”

“Well I did. Okay?” Thor snapped now, and Bruce flinched. “Earth needed you and will continue to need you now more than ever. Heimdall knew that. I knew that.”

Bruce took a seat next to Thor in the silence. His room was bare and cold. It was never really his home. He was never there. But now he had nowhere else to go, so it became a home to him with such severity that it made Bruce ache. There was nothing here to remind him of his family and his people.

“I’m sorry,” Bruce spoke quietly, trying to diffuse the awkwardness that had suddenly risen. “What happened after I left?”

Thor continued to stare at the floor. “He killed Heimdall. However many Asgardians he didn’t kill probably died when he decimated the ship.”

“And you?” Bruce asked. “How did you survive?”

Thor paused, and Bruce could hear him take a shaky breath. “I don’t know. I shouldn’t have.”

Bruce shook his head. “Thor—“

“I gave up,” He said. “I wanted to be with Loki. In my final moments.”

Bruce took a sharp intake of breath— Loki. Thor didn’t enter Wakanda with Loki. He was nowhere to be seen.

“Thanos,” Bruce tried. “He—“

“Killed Loki,” Thor nodded his head emphatically. “Yeah.”

Bruce felt bile in his throat as he watched Thor try to hold it together. The gap between them was stupid, and Bruce shuffled closer to Thor instantly. He needed to be there in case Thor collapsed.

“I’m so sorry, Thor,” Bruce answered, hesitantly placing a hand on Thor’s arm. He didn’t flinch, and his arm was warm, so Bruce squeezed it slightly in recognition.

Thor looked at him for the first time since he entered the room. “One minute I was resigned and ready to die with Loki, and the next I was inside the Rabbit’s ship. I don’t know how I got there or what kept me alive. But here I am.”

Bruce nodded. “I’m glad you’re here. I’m glad his Snap didn’t take you. Even if you might wish it did.”

Thor nodded too before finally letting his tears get the better of him. He collapsed, much to Bruce’s expectation, and Bruce had never been more thankful for intuition. He held onto Thor as he cried, feeling his arms wrap around his body in response.

Bruce didn’t know how long they stayed there, but he found himself crying, too.

Loki breathed a sigh of relief, put the letter in his pocket and left. He would have to work before he could write. This was no longer a matter of a quick word, he wanted to take time to think before he wrote.

As he walked through the school gates, although he loved his job, for once he couldn't wait for the day to be over.

Mobius was sitting in what had become his special Loki spot, the armchair in front of the bay window, a steaming cup of coffee next to him, reading Loki's latest letter.

I love Norse mythology and my work.

My favorite cocktail is Gimlets, gin and lime.

This brings me to my favorite color: green.

I have a sweet tooth, I like all kinds of sweets and pastries, and on the other hand I also like everything spicy.

I like quiet evenings reading and listening to music.

I like Jane Austen, The Brontë sisters and Paulo Coehlo.

I like to use metaphors but I have heard that they are not always great.

And although I can't stand violence, I like daggers, especially old ones.

Oh and I forgot, I like the house on the hill.

Mobius promised himself to go and see in Sylvie's antique weapons store if she had any antique daggers.

I can't stand cruelty, condescension, and lies.

And although they are green I hate peas.

Mobius laughed at the last sentence, he finished his coffee and went to get his notepad to start writing.

April 19, 2021

Loki, sitting cross-legged on his couch with Croki's head on his leg, was reading Mobius' latest letter.

I like to take watches apart and put them back together, to see the mechanism inside. They are all different.

I like to walk in the streets of New York and discover places by chance.

I like to draw, or rather make sketches that I never finish.

I like whiskey, Jack Daniels, and occasionally a good glass of red French Bordeaux wine.

I like all kinds of music, but my preference is for jazz.

I don't like lies, preconceived judgments, and gratuitous meanness, well, just plain meanness.

And I also like the house on the hill.

How did you end up living there anyway?

Loki read the letter again, folded it up and put it in the little box with the others before going to bed and thinking about what he would answer the next day.

April 21, 2019

Mobius went out still in his robe because it was a day of rest. He was surprised to see that Loki had already answered if he was to believe the little flag. He refused to question the fact that his heartbeat had accelerated.

He went to get the letter, then read it in front of his breakfast, Croki at his feet.

I rented it after college. It was the strangest place I had ever seen. I couldn't imagine anyone building it. Or... I couldn't imagine anyone building it and not living in it. I liked the way it sort of...hovered over the water. I loved that path that led to it. I don't know why, it has a strange, timeless charm.

April 23, 2021

Loki, on break between classes, took the letter out of his pocket and read it again.

Yes, the fact that you have to walk so much to get to the front door and that it's uphill, it's like you have to earn the right to enter the house. Every time you enter the house, it's like you're embarking on a quest whose prize is the right to enter.

I'm sorry, I must sound eccentric.

April 24, 2019

During his lunch break, and all day, he read that simple phrase from Loki over and over again.

Don't apologize, you can be eccentric. You can be whatever you want.

Mobius had always felt different, both in his personal and professional life choices, and this simple phrase eased some of his inner struggles. He couldn't ignore the warm feeling in his chest.

A few weeks passed. The wind was blowing violently on a late spring day in New York. Loki was walking rapidly towards the school. His phone started to vibrate in his pocket, he grabbed it to answer the call.

-Yes?

Loki lost the smile on his face.

-Look, this isn't easy for me either. You know that... no, I'm not mad that you called. I just... I'm sorry, I have to go to work and I...

He was approaching the school and didn't want to continue this conversation as more and more students came in.

-I don't think that's a good idea. No. Sigyn, I'm asking you not to come. Because we need more time... Especially if we want to stay friends. I just don't think we should... look, I'm on my way to work, we'll talk about it. Bye.

Loki sighed, shaking his head as he walked through the large front door.

" Already feeling demotivated?" asked Natasha as she greeted him with a smile.

"Oh no no!" protested Loki.

"That's good timing. Heimdall has caught the flu and we need someone to cover his classes while he's absent. Since you have an art degree, I was wondering if..."

"No worries! I'm happy to oblige."

"Perfect," Natasha thanked him, "You can check with the assistant about Heimdall's schedule and make arrangements then. Thank you Loki, really. If the exams weren't coming up, I wouldn't have asked you."

Loki replied, "No worries, really."

If anything, he was glad to see that even though he was the last one in and the youngest teacher, he was trusted.

At the end of the week, as he walked home with his arms full of groceries, he thought maybe he should have thought about it before saying yes.

Because he was exhausted.He hadn't realized how much time and energy it would take to handle two positions.

Fortunately, Heimdall was back at work on Monday.

Loki put his groceries in the car and thought he'd stop by the house on the hill before heading home.

When he arrived, the little flag was up.

He took the letter and opened it.

Hi, pen pal. You haven't written in a while. I hope all is well.

This is ridiculous, just a few words to write and it makes me sound like a babbling teenager.

Well I'm writing it down: I MISS YOU

It was obvious that the last words had been written with force.

Loki felt a strange warm feeling in his chest. He had also hugely missed the correspondence, so he hurried to answer on the spot and put the letter in the box before going home.

Parking the car in front of the mailbox, Mobius chose to ignore the butterflies in his stomach as he saw the little flag raised.

He took the letter out of the box and once he got home, Croki fed, he went to his favorite place to read the letter.

It has been a difficult week.

I couldn't get away from work and only had the strength to go to bed at night. I can't remember the last time I looked up at the sky, or saw a damn tree. That's what I miss. The nature around me.

It's not so bad when I'm busy. It's when I have a minute to breathe, to look around, that it seems really hard. I wonder what I'm doing here, alone, in this gray city. I miss the trees.

June 15, 2019 - 9:00 pm.

In the evening, Mobius left the house with a small tree in the pickup's trailer. He was driving towards the city.

In the middle of the walk from school to his apartment, Loki saw the black rain clouds gathering in the sky. Suddenly there was a rumble of thunder in the distance and as he was on the home stretch, the rain began to pour.

June 15, 2019 - 9:35 PM

Arriving at 105 MacDougal Street - Greenwich Village, obviously still under construction, Mobius parked the pickup and pulled a shovel and the tree from the trailer. He began digging a hole outside the construction site that would become Loki's apartment building. Once finished, he began planting the tiny, fragile tree.

June 15, 2021 - 9:35 pm

Loki was completely soaked as he walked the last few yards to his front door. He struggled to find his keys, dropped them, and grew more and more frustrated as the rain poured down on him, when suddenly it stopped. He was baffled, as thunder and lightning continued to flash across the sky, and the rain continued to fall all around him, but not on him.

He looked up.

Above him were the dense green leafy branches of a young tree that formed a canopy swaying in the rain right above Loki. It hadn't been there a second ago, but now it was sheltering him, and Loki was stunned.

Mobius smiled as he swung the shovel into the pickup's trailer before heading home.

Loki, overcome with emotion, broke into a smile and whispered to Mobius, even though he couldn't hear him, "Thank you."

Raindrops fell through the green branches as Loki danced under the tree, his face to the sky.

2019 - A few days later

Casey stood on the small path in front of Mobius' house, "Wow!!!"

Mobius motioned for him to follow him inside.Casey entered, still stunned by the house.

"So, this is where you're hiding?"

Mobius replied with a smile, "Yeah.You want a beer?"

"Yeah thanks."

Mobius pulled two beers out of the fridge and they went to the chairs in front of the bay window and talked about the house for a while. Casey had lots of questions.

Casey took a sip and his face became more serious.

"Mobius. I didn't just come here to escape my pathetic existence in the city. I came to talk to you about TK and ask you to come back with us. We need you."

Mobius shook his head, "TK? Sorry Casey but no."

"I'm sure if you talked to her..." insisted Casey.

"Forget it.Ravonna doesn't want me to come back. I don't want to come back. Everyone's happier now."

Casey argued, "What about your work? Your work was awesome. Even she admitted that. Look, I know it's hard, but if you put your problems with her aside, you-"

"I said forget it." replied Mobius, this time with a sharp tone before softening, "Sorry. It's just... I like it here. And I like my job at the store."

Casey nodded and accepted the answer before asking, curious again, "Are you in a relationship with anyone?"

Mobius answered after a slight hesitation that didn't go unnoticed, "No."

"Why did you hesitate?"

"I didn't hesitate."

"Yes, you did."

Mobius insisted, "I...I'm not involved with anyone, okay?"

"Okay." replied Casey, who smiled playfully before continuing, "All I'm saying is that maybe you should think about the future."

Mobius began to laugh. He couldn't stop himself.

Casey looked at him as if he had gone crazy, "What?"

Mobius continued to laugh.

"What?"

A few days later, with Loki's letter open in the passenger seat of his pickup, Mobius drove to the train station near Brooklyn College of Arts.

He parked, picked up the letter and got out, heading for the entrance to the station.

Around this time two years ago, I lost something.

In the Brooklyn train station.

I was going back to my parents and left it on the platform. See if you can find it for me. I won't tell you what it is.

Then put it in the mailbox. It's your mission if you choose to accept it.

Mobius could not resist a challenge. So he found himself at that moment looking for an object he knew nothing about. He walked through the station. There were a few people. He looked for a single man and saw none. Just a few families and an elderly couple.

He continued to search when suddenly, through the window overlooking the station platform, he saw a young man with long black hair get up and get ready to board the train.

Mobius wasn't sure if it was him, but he felt deep down that he was Loki, and he was amazingly handsome. Mobius hurried through the door and onto the station platform. He was about to head towards him when he stopped.

The young man had embraced a woman who had her back to Mobius.

They kissed and said goodbye.

Neither of them noticed that Loki, for it was undoubtedly Loki, had left a book on the bench behind him. Mobius saw it, but it would be awkward to approach and interrupt the kiss. He hesitated.

The train driver announced the final boarding.

Loki separated from the woman, obviously reluctantly, and boarded the train.

The woman Loki had kissed did not move and watched the train pull away until it was completely out of sight. He did not notice the book. Mobius watched him leave and once he was gone, he approached the bench. He looked at the book that Loki had left behind. It was a well-worn copy of Persuasion by Jane Austen. It had definitely been Loki.

Loki impatiently went to the mailbox, thinking that perhaps Mobius had already been to the station.

He opened it, and was disappointed when he didn't see the book and just a little note.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE 4TH OF JULY?

Loki, a little disappointed, answered immediately on the same piece of paper and just as he was about to leave, he heard the characteristic sound of the little flag being raised and went back to the box and opened it. He grabbed the small paper and unfolded it.

L: Going to the fireworks, I guess.

I go every year.  Why?

M: Would you like to watch them together? From the cliff. The fireworks on the lake are beautiful

L: I know, I watched them from the house the time I lived there.

You're not asking me out, are you?

M: No, no. I just thought it might be nice to do the same thing, that's all.

L: The same thing, two years apart.

M: It's better than staying home.

L: Okay. Let's go see the fireworks.

M: See you in 10 days then. July 4th at 10pm in front of the mailbox.

Mobius did not wait for an answer, and walked happily back to the house. Even though he had denied it, it still felt like a date of some sort.

The butterflies began to fly again.

July 4, 2019/2021 - 10:00 pm.

Two years apart, in the same place, Loki and Mobius sat next to the mailbox. Mobius brought one of the seats from the garden furniture and Loki brought an old folding camping seat in his car.

He is armed with his pad and pencil.

The strange and timeless conversation started again, always punctuated by the little flag that went up and down.

L: Did you go to the station? I never got my book.

M: Let me keep it for a while. I want to read it.

By the way, there's something I wanted to ask you.

Who was the girl at the station?

Your fiancée?

Why didn't you tell me about her?

Loki thought it sounded like Mobius was jealous, but didn't want to get the wrong idea.

L: You don't tell me about your love life either.

M: Because I don't have one unfortunately.

My God, I can't believe you didn't tell me you were married.

L: I'm not married. We broke up when I moved to New York.

I'm on my own.

The fireworks just started.

M: They started here too.

I'm sure yours are better, since it's supposed to get better every year.

L: Probably. Let's enjoy the sight.

Afterwards, during the fireworks, the flag did not move for a while. Then when the grand finale was over, and the silence fell, the flag suddenly rose, making Loki jump.

M: At the station, when I saw you... I didn't expect... I mean, you didn't tell me you were so gorgeous.

Loki read these words and could not suppress a small gasp of surprise. He looked around embarrassed even though he knew for a fact that no one was there.

L: Not fair.

You saw me but I still don't know what you look like.

Mobius ran his hand over his face and figured that since it was truth night, he might as well go for it.

M: You're right. I wouldn't mind knowing what I'll look like in two years. Why don't we meet in the future and tell me what you think?

Loki thought about it and then looked at his watch, it was 10:43 pm, he took a deep breath, suddenly excited and nervous

L: Why don't you call me on July 4, 2021 at 10:44 pm

As Loki finished the last line of the "4" the phone rang.

He almost fell out of his chair.

He steadied himself with a pounding heart and picked up, "Hello?"

Alot Of People Complain That This Is Just A Fish Out Of Water Story With Only Best Scenes Being In Asgard But Me, I Just Like This Movie, The Stuff With Thor And Loki And Thor And Jane Is Interesting And I Love The Fight Scenes, I Love The Warriors Three And Sif As Well As The Stuff With Darcy (I Know I'm Going To Get Alot Of Hate For This But I'm Sorry I Like The Character, I Thought Anthony Hopkins Was Good, I Thought Asgard Was Amazing As Well As The New Mexico Setting, It Was Just A Good Film And I Say See It...
