I was looking into the history of Scottish sword dancing and one theory of its origin is that it literally started by emoting on some dead guy.
King Malcolm III straight up default danced on this dead ass chieftain and everyone was like “damn, he onto something”

In the new episode Laios mentioned being able to see in the dark. Is that a thing for dwarves? What about other races?
I think its something common for dwarves in these types of dnd inspired fantasy?
I can't remember if that detail was mentioned elsewhere, another one of these "race abilities" I remember is kobold poison resistance
Another fun thing, Senshi mentioning their eyes glistening in the dark might not have been just metaphorical then, since animals that see in the dark usually get that type of reflection from something called tapetum lucidum that helps them see in low light conditions.

If you see an elk and you're like "that's a big deer" that's an elk. If you see another elk and you're like "that's a monster from the dawn of time" that's a moose.

pib and pinocchio being best friends and pib ALSO being the cat from pinocchio's story (ie. he tries to rob pinocchio, gets his paw bitten off by pinocchio and subsequently attempts to hang him) is wild and has potential that i can't hammer down but. there's definitely something there

question: does the appearance of Clutch Powers in s11 of Ninjago (formerly Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu) mean that Clutch Powers’ various media are a part of a the Ninjago franchise (naming based on longevity)? or is Ninjago a part of the Clutch Powers series (naming based on seniority a la Linnaean taxonomy)? is Ninjago: Dragons Rising a Clutch Powers series? discuss
for funsies 👍

Nobody but me cares about this but I got a Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale collection book that has like...a good chunk of their most well known collected tales in it and I am so fuckin' happy to have some tangible book to hold and skim through instead of having to look up fables they've collected online and having to click through link after link and getting distracted.
IT'S ONE OF THOSE FANCY BOOKS TOO THAT HAS THE SHINY GOLD ON THE PAGE EDGES SO WHEN THE BOOK IS CLOSES THE PAGES ARE SHINY AF AND THE COVER HAS SUCH PRETTY ASS DESIGNS
I really like the details and designs fairy tale books use-they are so underrated and I wanna learn more about how to do them myself so I can slip them into Beanstalked stuff (I have been dipping my toes in like with the new cover and its framing)
I cannot wait to add little sticky notes of all the Beanstalked characters (or at least the ones that are based off Grimm fairy tales) to it eheheheheheheheheh

Uncle Grandpa 101 - Minisode | Uncle Grandpa | Cartoon Network
I'll be honest, this show told me more about Peter Browngardt than all our years of middle and high school together.
After graduation he worked on Futurama, and then he worked on shows like Venture Bros and Misadventures Of Flapjack and Steven Universe. For Adventure Time he wrote the episode "Wizard."
Oh wait he's the one behind Looney Tunes? Now it makes sense. The boy loved watching Seinfeld.
I'm a little surprised Pete never referenced his high school band, Toilet Licking Vipers, which sometimes covered grunge songs.
That "good morning" catchphrase was a thing Peter did in school. I love how he turned his silly voice into a character.

ghvfhWHFUHGWHH vampireworld!Marceline being codenamed The Star is fucked up enough already just because it shows how she's One Of Them now, but the actual meaning behind the tarot card....
The loss (or rather lack) of her one good parental figure, vs. the unexplained refusal to kill Bonnie directly........ and they just LEAVE IT OPEN-ENDED so we can't ever know whether that spark of hope will prevail over her distorted upbringing, and...!!!
