Subalpine meadows around the park are shining with numerous blooming wildflowers. Some common wildflowers, seen in this photo from Indian Henry’s Hunting Ground, are lupine, Sitka valerian, rosy spirea and more. However you don’t have to go far to view wildflowers. Paradise Valley Road, for example, has excellent displays along the roadway. Where are you finding wildflowers?

Remember, please stay on trail! There are plenty of opportunities for the perfect mountain + wildflower photo from the trails! No need to step off trail and crush other flowers in your quest for the perfect shot.

probably shoulda planted the wildflowers straight into the big pot, but it's already hot as shit so i started the seedlings in little starter cups indoors

a bit worried some of them are too bunched together in their starter pots but some of them are already taking to it like a champ, though a few got banged up during the transplant. there's another basket under the main one to keep it off the concrete, wondering if i should put mulch in that one? just to keep the flowers soil cool at least

i just want to have a bit of life for my porch. it's just concrete and metal, and the occasional bee i see doesn't stick around for long. hoping this batch makes it!

if any of y'all gardeners have tips for taking care of potted wildflowers let me know, i realize they take to the ground much better than a pot but this is a pretty deep pot, hopefully enough for their roots to grow comfortably. i haven't had much success with other plants, but these are the only ones i've grown from seeds. i just want some life and color on my porch ｡⁠:ﾟ⁠(⁠;⁠´⁠∩⁠`⁠;⁠)ﾟ⁠:⁠｡
