AWS Solution Architect Associate (SAA-C01) 자격증 취득 후기

어제자로 AWS Solution Architect Associate 자격증을 취득했습니다. 2020년 3월부터 SAA-C01에서 SAA-C02로 개정되어 일부 내용이 달라질 수 있지만, AWS 자격증을 공부하시는 분들에게 도움이 될 것 같아 방법을 공유합니다.

시험 개요

전 안전한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 운영 지식을 알고 싶어 이 자격증을 취득했습니다. AWS 자격증 목록 구성을 보면 정보 보안에 관한 전문 자격증은 AWS Certified Security Speciality가 있고, 이보다 쉬운 난이도로는 Solution Architect Asso.�� Cloud Practitioner, 어려운 난이도는 Solution Architect Pro.와 DevOps Pro.와 가 있습니다. 다른 분들의 합격률과 시험 리뷰를 보니 Cloud Practitioner보다는 Solution Architect Asso.부터 지원해도 큰 무리가 없어보였습니다. 각자 자격증 취득 목표에 따라 시작점을 잘 생각해보시는 게 좋습니다.

사이트에서 명시하는 자격요건(경력 X년 이상)은 참고사항으로, 시험 응시 시 별도 경력증명서를 요구하지 않습니다. 전 AWS 이용 경험이 거의 없어서(zappa와 Serverless Framework를 이용한 crontab 대체 작업 배포는 있음) 자격증 취득에 실무 이용 경험이 매우 부족했지만, 후술할 자격증 관련 자료만으로도 충분했기 때문에 굳이 직접 Hands-on Lab을 전부 따라해볼 필요는 없다고 생각합니다. 다만 SAA 자격증은 AWS를 포함한 실무 운영 경험이 많다면 매우 도움이 되는데, 대부분의 문제가 주어진 상황에서 어떤 전략이 효과적인지를 고르는 문제이므로 실무 지식을 활용하면 합격률이 높아집니다.

시험 응시는 aws.training에서 신청할 수 있고, 응시 비용은 현재 17만원입니다. 시험장 응시 정원이 매우 한정되어 있으므로 시험 일정은 여유롭게는 2개월, 늦어도 1개월 전부터 확인하��는 걸 권장합니다. 전 주말 일정을 잡을 수 없어 평일 오전 10시로 잡았습니다. 시험 응시는 한국어로도 가능한데, 전 영어로 신청했습니다. 영어가 모국어가 아닌 경우 시험 시간을 30분 추가해주는 옵션이 있습니다만 굳이 추가할 필요는 없었습니다.

시험 공부 방법

제 시험 공부 방법은 아래와 같습니다. 제가 추천하는 항목은 굵게 표시했습니다. 전반적으로 지겹도록 "AWS를 쓰면 좋아요"라는 내용이 반복되는데 왜 추천하는지 정도만 이해하시고 나머지 홍보 문구는 건너뛰셔도 좋습니다. 시험 공부 기간은 약 1개월입니다.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate 2020 동영상 강의: 내용이 매우 쉽게 따라갈 수 있도록 되어 있고, Hands-on Lab, 모의 시험 2회도 포함되어 있습니다. 저는 할인 행사 덕에 22000원에 구매했는데 매우 만족했습니다.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Practice Tests: 위 동영상 강의의 부록으로 있는 추가 테스트입니다. 왜 평점이 높은지 이해하기 어려웠습니다. 내용 중 오류가 있는 것도 많고, 실제 시험과는 다르게 보기 6개 중 4개 고르기, True or False, 시험에는 안 나오는 숫자 외우기 등이 포함되어 있습니다.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Practice Exams: 기출문제 위주로 나왔으며, 실제 시험과 가장 유사했습니다. :)

概要

今回は、Windows Server OS の環境で、sysprepを使った初期化時に、タイムゾーン、ロケールのパラメータを渡す方法をご紹介します。

想定するシチュエーションは、EC2上に起動したWindows Server があり、そのイメージを横��したい時に必要となります。例えば、EC2 Windows をAuto Scaling によってスケールアウトする場合です。

sysprepは、Windows Server の固有情報（コンピューター SID ）およびイベントログなどいくつかの情報を初期化します。また、sysprep後は、次回OS起動時に初期化タスクが起動します。この初期化タスクによって、タイムゾーン、ロケーションなどの情報が設定されます。本記事では、あらかじめ応答ファイルを準備して、sysprep後の初期化タスクでタイムゾーン、ロケーションといったパラメータを設定する方法を説明しています。

応答ファイルとは

応答ファイル（Unattend.xml）とは、Windows Serverで行われる対話セットアップを自動化するための設定ファイルです。タイムゾーン、ロケールだけでなく、コンピューター名やパスワードを指定することも可能です。

Unattend.xmlの編集

C:\ProgramData\Amazon\EC2-Windows\Launch\SysprepディレクトリにあるUnattend.xmlを編集します。このファイルはWindowsのセットアップ自動化で使われる応答ファイルです。 TimeZoneパラメータが2箇所あり、「UTC」から「Tokyo Standard Time」に変更します。 ロケール関連のパラメータが4箇所（InputLocale、SystemLocale、UILanguage、UserLocale）あり、すべて「ja-JP」に変更します。（英語環境であれば、en-USとなります）

EC2Launchの実行

テストのため、タイムゾーンをUTC に設定し、言語を英語（米国）に設定します。

EC2Launchを実行し、sysprepの応答ファイルにUnattend.xmlが指定されていることを確認します。

sysprep実行後、タイムゾーンがJST に変わり、言語が日本語に設定されていることを確認します。これで、Auto Scalig時に初期化前と同じタイムゾーン、ロケールでWindows Server を起動させることが可能となります。
