WIP game: psych ghost gus au

ooh okay so gus is a ghost and shawn is actually psychic on top of having his observational skills. basically shawn still picks up on clues but any time gus adds vital info its technically a legit psychic thing. gus is the only ghost shawn can interact with (think like "spirit guide" type stuff). gus is still afraid of ghosts

Legend really doesn’t want to go to the castle right now. He would really rather go anywhere else. He knows that he’s in for a very worried lecture if he goes to the castle.

“So, are we gonna inform your Zelda of all this whole deal, or...?”Wind whistles, tilting his head.

“Ahhhhh, no.”Legend replies, blunt and trying to sound uninterested. “Not right now, anyways.”

“Any reason, uh, why?”Four asks with a small snort. Legend gives them a flat look.

“I’ll be entirely honest about this, if I go and see her I’m going to get lectured for ‘disappearing’ again. I ain’t doin that shit.”

“You’d get lectured? Really?”Four laughs. “Why would she do that?”

“Not the first time I’ve disappeared, she isn’t a huge fan of it.”The veteran shrugs. Honestly, he’s more worried about Fable’s lecture than Impa’s. Impa is reasonable, to a degree.

His sister, on the other hand, isn’t reasonable. She worries far too much, and whenever he leaves without telling her...well, it doesn’t make things any better.

“You must be close.”Sky hums softly, and...yeah. That's a bit of an understatement, honestly.

“She once told me that I’m not allowed to die because then she would have to die too, and she wants to at least make it to 20.”He shrugs. He thinks she was serious about it.

He hasn’t tested that theory. Likely never will. It’s just one of those things — he’s convinced it’s true, but won’t test it.

He never does test out most of his theories. Just has them, and believes that he’s right most of the time.
