Every time I think of the PJO goddesses and their demigod children I cry.

Did they carry their children for nine months only to end up abandoning them? Did they fall in love with their children once they held them in their arms for the first time? Did they watch over them through their childhood? Did they keep them for a few months to feed them or did they only spend hours with their baby before letting them go? Do they feel jealous when their child finds maternal love from another woman or do they feel thankful? Do they grieve their children when they die? Do you think they feel it when they do? Do they feel guilt in knowing that by being their mother they subjected their child to dying young? Do you think they have a memento for every single one of their children? Do they feel proud of the same things mortal mothers feel proud of? Do they wish they could comfort their children when they feel sad?

They might be goddesses but they're mothers too, aren't they?

would like my teeth to stop hurting please

Things consumed today after my wisdom tooth extraction that I had to go under for this morning:

Two protein shakes (one strawberry, one vanilla hours later)

Fuck ton of water throughout the day

About a third or so of my boyfriend's Gatorade Fast Twitch (cool blue flavor)

Another third of my Monster Java Mean Bean

Multiple spoonfuls of cottage cheese that I ravenously ate straight out of the tub (at this point I hadn't eaten anything solid for almost 24 hours)

Mushroom soup made with beef broth and tomato puree that, perhaps unsurprisingly, had tiny mushroom chunks in it so I had to very carefully chew those with my front teeth

Should make a pain killer that actually kills (or even touches) pain
