Raw 4/4/22 edge has promo crowd chants ‘we are sheep’ then priest starts his promo and the crowd immediately chants ‘we don’t care’ and then ‘we want rusev’ respectfully this crowd should shut the fuck up. AJ styles runs in beats on the heels but TJD has a numbers advantage so they beat up AJ and edge and priest do this leg sweep spear thing.

Raw 4/11/22 priest vs styles (no contest) (also dom dom taken out in an ambulance not related just shows how time flies lol) hearing damian with his old song is weird also king is on commentary here. I wish king was on commentary the last time they were in Memphis. It would've been nice to see. AJ gets busted open pretty early on in the match. That was certainly an ending… I knew there was some supernatural shit in early judgment day but what was that?

Raw 4/18/22 naomi+banks(w) vs. l4b (this is a surprise tool that will help judgment day later) she is such a dom in this match i love mother. Her little hoop fell out but i was mostly thirsting over how hot rhea looks when she angy. (also notable finn loses the us title on this raw) now for the edge and damian promo and yeah what the fuck was that damian? Edge roasts the fuck out of buffalo.

Raw 4/25/22 edge likes the word omnipotence. Lol edge takes shots at the tennessee volunteers and kane here. Priest(w) vs. Balor HES JUST STANDING THERE MENACINGLY!! Also judgment day finally gets their name. I like damian’s old theme even if it doesn’t fit judgment day damian.

Raw 5/2/22 Priest vs Styles(w). I LOVE THE OLD JUDGMENT DAY NAME PLATES! Also the pyro went off at the wrong time during the entrance. I love edge just roasting cities. Styles wins on a rollup that looked awful then edge and damian start beating on aj until finn saves the day. 

Lynch+Ripley+deville vs morgan+asuka+belair(w) (look i know this isn’t judgment day but heel rhea is heel rhea and is important to the story. Also remember when women main evented?) becky shouldn’t be a heel. Jack-o-lantern pants in may is such a rhea thing. 4 of my fave women's wrestlers in the ring at the same time makes me happy. Deville takes the pinfall loss.

Backlash 5/8/22 edge(w) vs styles. The ring announcer was really sucking off edge here. Holding a ppv in such a tiny arena is so odd even for wwe of that time. This match is a very hard hitting one. Wow I wonder who could be that masked figure? Omg its pre-mami rhea ripley who would've guessed.

Wrestling fans do not know what they want. When the belts WERE split, they complained that one champion always seemed more important than the other. Okay, so then they're unified which was a terrible idea to begin with especially for someone Vince KNEW was immediately starting a reduced schedule. So, Mania season comes around again and we all think Cody's gonna win and fans are throwing out the idea that maybe Cody can split the belts after. "No, cause If Cody doesn't have a run with both belts then it won't be as important as Roman's!"... Okaaay, then here's a whole new belt for whatever brand Roman isn't on. "It's just a consolation prize!"

There was a problem with the unified titles, a problem caused not by Roman as champion, but by the way Roman's dominance on the roster was handled. There was no need to unify anything, other solutions could be found, but that's how it went. Roman, after ten years as a full-timer, has pretended time for his family while still keeping his role with great success. But people wanted more. His attendance is effectively reduced, but he's still the face of the company, engaged in a historic run, we cannot take away the titles from him. Okay, the solution is to have another champ, always have him there, go back to the original balance. It's logical, it's reasonable, it'll help ease Roman's grip, ease the transition to another face of the company, and keep a way out if things go badly, because Roman still works in his role as the top guy.

They actually fixed everything. They did what should have been done a year ago after WM38. But people are still not happy because they don't really have a problem like the company. They complain, because they're used to it, because it's easy and because Roman, let's face it, is their favorite target.

Nothing will work for them as long as he has a title and he's seen by the company as the top guy. It's a hatred already seen, it's ten years old, but now it's just sleazy and obvious. They should wait and see, because that title is a test. A test for what the company will be like without Roman and I honestly hope it works, because the rule always applies, it's the man who makes the title, not the other way around.

I miss the good network stuff we used to get. WWE24, The Day Of, 365? That was some seriously good shit. Don’t get me wrong, I love the press conferences and the bits and pieces we get on YouTube and social media, but those documentary kind of things were my favorite.

That being said I’m still hoping they’ll release a WWE24 for WM39 once the Rumble rolls around (that’s what they did for the WM38 one), cause I wanna see all that glorious backstage content I’m sure they filmed, especially for the Sami/Kevin vs The Usos match.

So I haven't done one of these in awhile, but this isn't a normal update. This is specifically an update on my "Collections".

Because really, nobody ever asked for my picspam posts so maybe a text post you can skip is more palatable.

Discussion of Sami, Kevin, AEW Women, and The Bloodline figures under cut.

So in case any of you didn't know, I have "Collections" of things. namely, sets of figures that I'm trying to complete for display as a whole.

One of these Collections is a full, main line set of each First Time In Line AEW Womens figures.

The only update to that is that I have Jamie Hayter coming MOC in a protector some time in the near future. It was on backorder so I'm waiting for it to come in from Ringside Collectibles. But I will get it eventually.

That is all I need from that for the moment as there are no other figures out there right now. Although I need to get a loose Ruby Soho for my shelf.

The second collection I'm working on is my Zowens Matched Sets MOC collection.

That one, I have TWO updates for!

I just bought the Yep Movement Kevin Elite MOC. Good price, looks like it's in great condition. I already have the clamshell for it, I just need to have it delivered and put on my wall with the others.

The second one I bought was the Elite 101 Wrestlemania 38 Kevin.

Yeah, I gave in. I'm getting the WM38 figures.

Of course, Kevin WILL be opened. Very carefully. And his SCSA shirt is coming off and his heads getting swapped before being put back in the case and THEN put on my wall. I want him displaying his ACTUAL WM38 look if he's going next to Sami. (Sidenote: I really really hate that Sami figure, but it is what it is.)

That means the only figures left to get for that wall right now is the Yep Movement Sami (See below) and Wrestlemania 38 Sami.

And yeah, the Sami is still at Ringside, but that Sami, OMG SAMI.

Finally, my Extended Bloodline collection!

That one, I have a single update on. I bought a loose Elite 40 Umaga in the black and red (of course) which will be a placeholder on the shelf until I can find a way to make, buy, or commission a set of 3 Minute Warning figures. OCD prefers matched sets and having Umaga and Superhero Rosey rubs the sharkskin the wrong damn way, especially because there is no Superhero Rosey in Mattel scale, and if I try to put the Jakks one with it, it'll look weird.

Next on that list to get is Elite 15 Yokozuna, which I would love to find loose in good condition with a robe but I may have to settle for loose good condition WITHOUT Robe. The Summerslam Flashback version is the same figure as the Elite 15 but the colors are reversed (E15 – Black belt, red tights, SS – Red belt, black tights). I suppose I could settle for the SS one, but I really want the E15. 

Also on the list – Jakks Classic Superstars Peter Maivia and Rocky Johnson. Yes, there is a Mattel Rocky Johnson but good GOD is it awful. They gave him R-Truth's skin tone. It is BAD. Also, the gear is the wrong color.  

Outside of that, the only other person I could potentially want that’s been made is Deuce (Tamina’s brother) but again, he’s Jakks only and he wouldn’t fit on the shelf at ALL. Not unless I can find a way to customize him into his Sim Snuka persona which still wouldn’t fix the fact that he’d be out of scale with the rest of them (Outside of Peter and Rocky). 

At some point I’m gonna find a way to make a Jacob Fatu figure. There’s someone who sells the 3D printed heads (Same guy I got the Bloodline Sami head from) and I think I know a good formula it would just require some paintwork on the tights, some modified accessories, and painting the head. No, Jacob was never in WWE, but then this really isn’t about the WWE, it’s about the family. And anyone I can make and have the ability to make, I will. 

Anyway, that's the update.

Now, for the rant about Yep Movement Sami.

That figure *THAT FIGURE*

So, the original run of that line was defective. His newsboy cap did NOT stay on his head in package. It would fall off and either cover his face or rattle around inside the box.

So. They made a running change. They put out a second version of the figure with the hat packaged on the side.

But that running change was late in the release and was only ever available at brick and mortar retail, which by that point had mostly moved on past that wave.

So there was never a whole lot of that variant out there, to begin with.

So you can imagine how impossible it is to find a minty fresh MOC figure, from 2018, that was ONLY available in stores, that had an impossibly short release run in the first place.

I have literally seen ONE specimen online in two years that I would display and, when I bought it on sight, I was immediately refunded because the seller had already sold it off ebay to someone else and forgotten to take the auction down.

Outside of that I've only seen one OTHER listing PERIOD and the box was trashed.

I don't think I'm ever getting this one. I'm gonna keep looking but at this point I'm contemplating just buying the original release and opening the box, using sticky tack to affix the hat, then putting it back in box and in clamshell.

It pisses me off royally, but it really is what it is. I'll make it work somehow. In the meantime, I have the the two Kevin's I need on the way.

Sorry if someone has asked this before but, what is your favorite women's wrestling match? If you've already said, what are a couple of your faves from WWE and AEW that someone can go seek out?

If it's been asked before I don't remember (I have the memory of a goldfish most of the time). My favorite overall women's wrestling match is Viper vs. KLR at ICW (there are other honorable mentions but that one I remember going back to watch again and again when I first discovered it.)

As for my favorite matches at AEW and WWE, there are definitely a few that really stand out to me. The 4HW one for obvious reasons (I am a 4HW stan), Bayley vs Sasha at HIAC, Bianca vs Becky at WM38, Becky vs Charlotte at Evolution, and Trish vs Mickie James at WM. AEW have less just because I haven't ever watched a full show, just match snippets. I liked what I saw if Tayjay vs Allie and Penelope Ford, Kris Statlander vs Abaddon (if there are multiple I couldn't tell you which it would be sorry), and what I think was Britt Baker vs Jamie Hayter from a while back (it might not have even been at AEW, but I remember liking that match a lot)

Sami used the Bloodline to gain the credibility he lost being viewed as a joke. (Lost to Johnny Knoxville at WM38) Jey never trusted Sami. Sami made his decision at The Royal Rumble and chose Kevin over the Bloodline by hitting The Tribal Chief with a chair. Then Sami tried to get Jey turn on his family in particular his twin brother Jimmy. By "turning" on Sami, Jey chose his brothers over being "acknowledged" by Sami. I'm so tired of this narrative that Sami's a victim. 🙄

since you happen to just Have a photo of johnny knoxville on hand, i'm guessing he's a special guy of yours, and in that case i've got great fucking news: back in late 2021/early 2022, jackass actually partnered with wwe to promote jackass forever. johnny knoxville ended up having a legitimate storyline feud with sami zayn.

so, the royal rumble is an event held every year in january. the draw of the show is the titular royal rumble match, wherein thirty competitors battle for the opportunity to main-event wrestlemania in april for a championship of their choosing. two people start in the ring, and then every ninety seconds, another competitor is added. to eliminate someone, you have to throw them over the top rope, and both of their feet must touch the ground.

now, i say "competitors" and not "wrestlers", because you don't actually have to be a wwe superstar to be in it. case in point: johnny knoxville announced on january 7th that he was gonna be in the rumble. sami (who, i should note, was a crazy bad guy at this time) was PISSED that a celebrity like knoxville could just show up and take spotlight away from real wrestlers. so when the rumble rolled around on january 29th, sami made sure to personally eliminate johnny.

johnny took that poorly. presidential alert, the girls are fighting.

on february 2nd, sami crashed the red carpet of the jackass forever premiere and johnny had security forcibly remove him from the premises

on february 18th, sami won the intercontinental championship off of shinsuke nakamura (hence johnny's shirt in the pic djekfhskfh). then, sami lost the title to ricochet thirteen days later, on march 4th, due to interference in the match by johnny knoxville

sami challenged johnny to an anything goes match at wrestlemania 38, johnny accepted

the match at WM38 is the stupidest shit in the world, and it's fucking AWESOME. it's goofy wrestling at its best, and sami's gone on record saying it's one of his favourite things he's ever done. it's got all the jackass shenaniganning you could want. if you've got twenty minutes, i highly recommend watching it, because the whole thing is on youtube.

and bonus points, even though sami's a good guy now and it's been over a year since it went down, johnny still "hates" sami's fucking guts and takes every possible opportunity to dunk on him. it's so good it's so fuckin good man. johnny knoxville is like a blorbo-in-law. to Me.
