Warning! Potential spoilers for Avengers Forever by Marvel Comics below

Marvel’s greatest heroes across the Multiverse are assembling for an epic new series, Avengers Forever. In a brand new cover for the upcoming title, variants of Marvel Comics heroes shine in a massive group shot showing the vastness of the Multiverse and how certain characters took very different personas on different Earths. The new cover features everyone from Peggy Carter’s Captain Carter to Tony Stark’s Ant-Man.

Earlier this month, Marvel Comics revealed a handful of new titles that provided a new glimpse of the future in the popular universe. One of those titles was Avengers Forever, a Multiversal tale by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder. It stars a bevy of heroes from different Earths coming together to take on the Multiversal Masters of Evil – a group of villainous variants who want to control the Multiverse themselves. The issue spins out of the upcoming Avengers #50 as well as the Free Comic Book Day Avengers comic, which teased the arrival of the Masters of Evil.

Newsarama shared a brand new cover for Avengers Forever, which is packed full of Marvel heroes. The cover features multiple versions of Thor, Tony Stark as Ant-Man, Peggy Carter as Captain Carter, Speedball, an old-school version of Iron Man, a medieval Quicksilver, Wonder Man, Deathlok, Beast, Frigg Wodendottir wielding Stormbreaker, Doctor Druid, Isiaih Bradley, Star Brand, Black Knight, Beast, Hercules, a variant of Amadeus Cho’s Hulk, and Robbie Reyes as Ghost Rider. There are many more shown on the fantastic cover by Kuder.

Newsarama notes that the comic book will feature a handful of first appearances. While there are some heroes we’ve seen before, it’s really cool to see Marvel expand its universe even further and show off its Multiverse. It seems to align with Marvel’s current plans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will both take deeper dives into other realities in the live-action world.

It remains to be seen how the Marvel heroes will work together against the Multiversal Masters of Evil. Still, considering how it’s going to take many characters from a wide array of Earths to band together to stop them, it certainly seems like the evil villains will be one of the biggest threats any versions of the Avengers have ever faced. Readers can see the Avengers and Marvel variant heroes assemble when Avengers Forever #1 comes to comic book stores in December.
