Happy Women of Pandora Month! Celebrate the women (and girls) of the Avatar series all month long!

Create any fanwork featuring and inspired by a female character during the month of December! This could be art, edits, gifsets, moodboards, web weavings, handmade jewelry, playlists, fanfics, headcanons, hell even a PowerPoint about your favorite female character if that’s what you want to do! There's no prompt and no pressure. Anything and everything you can think of is welcomed!

Tsireya had found companionship with the kind-hearted Kiri; a younger sister in the adventurous Tuk; a familiar soul in the eldest brother Neteyam; a deep well of love with the mischievous Lo’ak. Tsireya loved them each, and they loved her the very same. She knew it in their smiles, their conversation, their protection.

And while the rest of the village people may not have been as close to the forest children as she was, losing Neteyam was a strike to all of their hearts.

Rules & Guidelines for Women of Pandora Month

Welcome to Women of Pandora Month! I want to make the rules clear on what will be accepted before we begin. Most of the rules are the same as the previous Women of Pandora Week.

Explicit sexual depictions of characters under 18 years old will not be accepted. The characters are not only children, but also played by children (even if some of the actors are adults now). This means anything aged up will not be accepted either.

Explicit sexual content with adult characters (such as Neytiri, Trudy Chacón, and Ronal to name a few characters) will be accepted. Please tag these works as nsfw.

Ships can be included, of course, but since this is about the women of Pandora be sure to have the main focus on them! We are celebrating women, their complexities, and their stories first and foremost.

Content depicting or engaging with incest is not allowed. This will include any Sully kid/Spider romantic content.

Deliberately racist, ableist, homophobic, or any other bigoted behavior/content will not be accepted or tolerated. You can tackle these concepts if you want, but please be mindful and properly tag your content with warnings.

Content featuring original female characters will be accepted! Both Na’vi and human OCs! However, reader fics/imagines will not be accepted.

Please try to add image descriptions or alt text to your posts if you can!

Make anything you would like! Fics, art, edits/videos, moodboards, web weaving, playlists, headcanon posts, etc. will all be accepted! Just remember to post it here on tumblr!

A collection for fan fiction on AO3 will be made for people to submit their fics to.

Any fanfics or longposts written directly on a tumblr post should have a readmore.

Please tag any content made with #womenofpandoramonth and/or tag this blog for better visibility.
