Pinocchio & Nutcracker Zen crossover!

(His name is Woodcracker and he is a pyromaniac. Which is not good since he is made out of wood. He loves to crack firewood with his teeth. His carrot nose sometimes falls out of its socket, which is quite a scary sight. And something is definitely wrong with him, but we still love him regardless. This idea was prompted by a silly conversation on discord!)

i associate you w gherle, jinx, a bit of viktor for some reason, and red and pink from everhood

theres a birdbrain creature with brownish hair and its skin is grooved and hardened like wood, its eyes a dusky shineless purple with just no pupil just big purplish. like the red violet kind but much darker. inside it swirls a shadowy void which could break out through the cracks of its confines if so desired but it already built this vessel with so much time and sweat

it holds plants and herbs in its hands and has goldenrod as bracelets, and its wearing shorts and an ornate yet tattered tee. you cant tell if whats down its face are feathers woodcracks or shimmerscars, or maybe even the shadowy goop plasma stuff comin out of it

its habitat is a forest much like the one in the no-context omori post funny enough, and navi-like thoughts drift through the treetrunks, and the ground outside a winding path are covered with mottled leaves that smell wet and rotting. if you did move the leaves and let some sunlight in some sunflowers would grow out of it. its ok to grow and change and follow a light of some sort i guess, even amidst what feels like being lost in the middle of nowhere

so yeah have an oc idea and some vibes… sorry if its weird

By the look and feel of this slice, you would have thought it was dry, but lay it on some paper for a few minutes and you can see it's not. • In the last three photos you will see why I say the slices need to be watched in order to know when to begin sealing. • Sometimes the center is dry enough to begin cracking while the outside edge is still quite moist. Keep that in mind as you anxiously await your special creation 🎨🖌😊 • Water runs all through a tree, so after the tree comes down, the moisture immediately starts evaporating from the cut ends. I store the tree branches I get in 5 - 6 foot sections because they will lose moisture slower than if I immediately cut slices. Before I cut slices, I have to make sure I can set aside the time to properly preserve them once cut or most likely they will be wasted and that means wasted time which is wasted money. • One of the parts to properly preserving the slices is drying them.
