#chemi chats#yknow. last year's ''take sundays off'' made a lot of sense.#october 2023 was PERFECT for skilltober as it was a full four weeks (so six days for each skill type per week plus a day off)#and left two days at the end - the 30th and 31 - for Ancient Reptilian and Limbic. so it worked out really evenly!!#using the same method in 2024 does not yield the same clean results hjkjg it looks. so fucking messy gang hgkjg#but generally you can take any 5 days off? it would make sense to split it at the first any five days in a row.#like how we had five sundays last year. so like if we had five mondays this month we'd do free days on mondays right?#but this months was tuesdays and we all STARTED on tuesday SO LIKE HGKJG OKAY MAN. I've always been impressed by how well Josh Dallas and Jennifer Morrison sold the father-daughter dynamic despite being the same age.

How was the Taylor Swift concert?
It was absolutely amazing!!!
It was so fun and usually I hate that stuff like this is in daylight(it only started to get dark when she started the midnights set) but it was actually great cuz she could see out in the crowd and she noticed people getting engaged (two girls. Rise up swiftbians) and congratulated them and it was sooooo cute
Her tour also broke records in Scotland!!!! Most attended music show ever!!!!!
#and it was so well run. I was expecting to be in the wars but there was barely any queues to get in and everyone was so nice. I traded#bracelets with so many people it was so fun#I went to Harry styles as well (child of divorce) and it was so horribly stressful#I felt like I’d been dragged through a bush the next day but all the people working were great!#and they had tons of buses lined up outside to take people to Waverley which was great#idk if that was something Taylor’s team planned or whether it was the council but it was very much needed#the only bad thing was like 6 people fainted and Taylor had to keep interrupting her singing to point them out#which isn’t the workers faults. I was watching from the stands and the crowd was not moving for them at all!!!!#they had to squeeze through to get to people who needed help which was ridiculous#but it did show she doesn’t lip sync or have a backing track? which is crazy

good lord it took all of the rally passes i had stocked up but i think i understand the battle rally in pokemas now. the in-game tutorial does NOT give you all the information you need to succeed. basically you need to adhere to the theme skill (champion, rival, a certain type, etc.) buff they give you at the beginning of each individual rally, and you need to buy that buff from the shop again before each round so that they stack, or you will be completely annihilated a few rounds in. i usually buy one or more of the 50pt buffs too, the ones that boost attacks by 100% if they're super effective, or if a sync pair has a certain stat raised, or whatever. it can be tough to balance surviving with maximizing your points but since you ultimately get roll cake coins from doing the rally, you'll unlock more sync pairs' EX roles, and the easier it should be to get more and more points. theoretically. also geeta breaks the whole thing if you get the 100% attack buff if a sync pair's attack stat is raised LOL
#seriously she's still only at move level 1 for me but the rally that i got that buff in was SO easy breezy. love her.#working on being less afraid of switching out pairs. i think it's just best to not unnecessarily use any field/sprint ones really.#AND it's good to conserve MP if you can but yknow. do what you gotta do. you'll be switching out a lot anyway...#... if you have a lot of sync pairs. i imagine this mode would suck for people who don't. 😔#txt

I think it’s sort of funny that I restarted my migraine when I was doing a techy thing (doing syncthing again because I fucked up cloning my sd card and I was like what the heck it’s not working anymore. It was broken I had to redo it on one side and by god I’ll have to do the other side because I fucked it up on that one too) and my brain was like fuck too much processing and my head hurt for a solid couple minutes
Buuut god willing I won’t have to manually move my saves when I for example want to play picross on the snes and not redo the first puzzles and see Mario apologize that I have new harder puzzles that I can do that don’t check mistakes or have hints or do the countdown timer if I have to do those puzzles again I will lose my mind. But now. God fucking willing. It won’t happen again except I fucked up and my saves on my sp are on sd2 and not on sd1 because I am boo boo the fool and moved them. I’ll put them back fucking later! I have syncthing back up on my trimui smart pro and if it’s still fucked I can just be a 4:3 and 16:9 device that’s fine. I do not care that much except gba looks so crispy on that big screen
