Alright, I've been mulling on this for most of the day, and unless a night's sleep changes my mind, I'll be working on returning (remaking) a very old multimuse of mine, that used to be over at iniziare. The blog will be entirely remade, and I'll post it here when it's done!

For those wondering, it will for now house: Guizhong, Yelan, Kafka and Arlecchino. Time to finish up that other WIP theme for this, I suppose! See you guys on the flip-side of this brighter future.

I'm replaying FFX finally, and if I were to make a multimuse blog of canon characters, or change or open up my XIV OC multimuse to canon characters, I'd be sorely tempted to pick up Lord Braska from X, Laguna Loire and possibly Selphie Tilmitt from FFVIII, Cid Highwind from FFVII, General Beatrix from FFIX, Basch fon Ronsenburg from FFXII, Misija Votyasch and possibly Ameliance Leveilleur from FFXIV, and maybe move my old Aymeric de Borel and Quintus van Cinna muses over to it as well, if I can actually regain muse for those two.

The problem stopping me is that I can't even keep up with one blog, let alone several. :sob:

thinking about the difference between fely'ene & her brother and divinity in their lives after leaving the underdark.

-> fely'ene clawing to find a divinity she can cling to -- some figure or power that she can trust to hold her hand, to guide her because she still wants that. she wants that divinity so badly, and for her elistraee was exactly what she needed, especially in the aftermath of running away and rejecting lolth. she has always been a cleric and she doesn't know what to do if she isn't one.

-> rhylzen refusing to even look at divinity. he will say his peace to the sea itself, and he appreciates his sister's devotion to elistraee and what she values in her, and respects the idea of it. but he doesn't want to give his devotion to anything or anyone that he can't also shove off a boat or punch in the face. he need the tangible, he refuses to allow himself to be yanked around without seeing the strings ever again.

I pulled Ruan Mei incredibly luckily after losing my 50/50 to Himeko (honestly, does the game know I didn't want this), and so I'm finally doing her quest so I can do her boss. And here I am, where I wasn't sold originally: I adore her, now that I've actually learned about her properly. God, why does Hoyo introduce absolutely fascinating female characters? I'd grown so tired of those specific tropes of 'Oh, feel bad for me' or the 'strong, and independent' woman, and some characters in their games still play into those, but there are numerous who absolutely do not, and in turn are such unusual women. I'm enthralled by them, I can't not add them to the lineup. Ruan Mei is fascinating, actually, the biological sciences, this level of perseverance to attain an understanding of that which can't be comprehended, and yet doesn't allow it to be a roadblock. And god, the sheer archaic elegance of each of them, laced in with the faults and flaws that are actually flaws, instead of the common 'guys, she cares too much', 'she's just so loyal and selfless, it'll get her killed one day!' No, get out, those don't make a character interesting. Ugh, god. These are the types of female characters that I've craved to see on my screen for years on end. And Hoyoverse is the company that's giving them to me, all of them. No one else has so far.

What am I even doing— am I just doing this long 'prep' of a lineup or something? Unless something changes my mind... consider her to be put on the 'incoming' list. It's fine.
