Look man, I don't think I'll ever write the technicalities and actual details of you know, guidelines and other official documents in the bnha world about the hero profession, but I know without a doubt there are guidelines that the heroes and sidekicks have to follow to keep their licenses and to stay up to date and they have to have those rules and laws and whatever. I know that for my profession, we have the Standards of Practice (SOP) and Standards of Professional Performance (SOPP), which I personally don't enjoy because it's like sixty pages of assessing your competency level of skills that we need to know how to do. I don't like them because the document is so long and I have to read through it for programs I do and also it's just. Important. But it's also a nuisance to read. I'm sure the hero profession has something like that in place and there are probably heroes that absolutely hate those documents and any time they have to look through them for stuff. Personally, I see people like Shouto going like "I don't want to read through all this. Give me the main points. I know how to do this, this, this. I don't know how to do that. Boom, that's it." And then there's people like Izuku that have the whole document memorized and can quote it. And then there's people like Tenya who have it printed in a binder nice and neat, highlighted and with sections and dividers.

I couldn't be bothered to come up with a title for this poem
What did you do? Nothing. I know what they mean. Are you hurt? Are you sick? When will you be better? Never.
Look at the cane and see an injury, an ailment. Bury me in a coffin built from false sympathy, tell me I'm boxing myself in though I struggle to escape. Lament somebody I never was, could never be. Tiny Tim, the golden child, typical Victorian storybook cripple, makes up for it with incessant unbearable niceness.
I dress like a Victorian time-traveller got lost in the 70's then stuck here. Look at my clothes, not my body. Surrounded by eyes, faces, faces of concern, faces of judgement. I'll trick myself into thinking the eyes look at my clothes, not my body.
You think the cane made me sick, you think the diagnosis made me autistic. An Invisible Man with a cane and headphones, smothered in bandages, though nothing's broken.
I'm not your inspiration. The height of your pedestal gives me vertigo. You won't catch me when I fall.
Lay me down, pin me down, weigh me down with shovelfuls of dirt. Mourn your expectations, the golden ghost of your gifted child. Have you forgotten that Tiny Tim did not die? He's alive, and so am I.
