ok I feel the need to stress that coldplums is exaggerating 😭 the number is not actually 700. I don't even think I've had 700 original thoughts in my life. it's closer to 90, and this is counting baby WIPS. if we're talking 500+ word WIPS, the number is closer to 40. and some/most will never see the light of day!

I keep them... sort of organized. there's three miscellaneous folders, a folder for kink prompts, and large verses get their own specific folders! so I can somewhat navigate what I'm going through.

NOT YOU NAMING THREE FICLETS DIRECTLY 😭 christmas is going to wait until the season rolls back around, time travel max gets more convoluted every time you all ask for another darkbull spinoff, and as far as moto max... I actually was in the mood to write him the other day, went digging through the kink prompts, and realize nobody had asked for him! mourn what you could've had <3

sometimes new fics/ficlets spawn from the most random statements in the dm's, or a post I see on my page, or literally anything. I have no control over it, I fear.

Speaking of reaping and sowing, I have such exciting need to share. When I finished Essence of Fire and Spice in early December, a couple of my critique partners said I'd get my agent with this one. They were right! I'm now repped by Amy Brewer ( @42amybrewer ) and I'm absolutely thrilled. She really got what I was trying to do with Essence and has such great ideas already going forward. I've been more MIA than usual, but I promise I have a good reason!! It's been days since it happened, but the knowledge is still a little unreal: I have an agent! 2.5 weeks, 32 requests, and 11 offers later, I'm now represented by the amazing @johnmcusick! I don't talk much about my writing on here, but in addition to designing and blogging, I've been writing for a little over seven years. And the novel John offered representation for? Took me four years to complete! It was a long journey, but the query process took about 2.5 weeks. It was crazy and insane and I'm all sorts of grateful! I'm currently working on revisions for the novel of my heart, aka a fantasy set in an alternate Arabia, where magic no longer exists, assassins lurk, and the land is villainous. I can't wait to share this with you all one day!
