Keep people around you who push you and encourage you and help you to be your better self. These two guys right here pushed me out of my comfort zone and have helped me get to be a better version of myself every day. @gavels_n_kettlebells signed me up for my first powerlifting meet and worked the programming, making adjustments as weaknesses were found to work on. @m4munson supported me through the training but also supported and helped me set new personal records in all of my lifts today. I’ve found holes in my game and now have new training goals and plenty of things to work on. I’m forever grateful for their greater belief in my abilities than I have and I’ll keep working to make them proud. Prepping for my first powerlifting competition 😱 Things are off to a decent start. Back squat 5 x 3 @ 155# with AMRAP on final set...got 11. I’ve got a number in my mind that will be an all time P.R.
