Well, that was a really fateful day when Tom decided to attend wrestling tryouts instead of drama club in high school. He quickly became the star and then the captain of the team. And even though his coach actually saw his future in the Olympic team, Tom "The Dutch" Holland decided to combine his passion for wrestling with his talent for acting and make a career in the WWE after an exchange year in the USA. And thanks to his cute face, "The Dutch" quickly built up a growing fan base. And with his muscle mass, this fan base has also grown quickly.

Okay, his attempts to gain a foothold in Hollywood were a bit silly. Most of his romantic comedies didn't even make it to the big screen. Well, not everyone can have the talent of Dwayne Johnson or John Cena. On the other hand… They also started their careers as action stars later… Maybe we'll hear something about a blockbuster with The Dutch at some point.

Giovanna Eburneo Explains Why She Is No Longer With WWE (Credit: Fightful.com)

Giovanna Eburneo (Ghi Eburneo) signed with WWE in 2022 as part of the August 2022 recruiting class. Eburneo made a couple of appearances on NXT in December 2022.

In a new video on YouTube, Eburneo revealed she is no longer with WWE and explained why.

The video is in Portuguese and Fightful compiled the following notes and quotes:

Tried out with WWE in 2017 in Chile.

Did not know how the tryout worked and everyone had a character. They told her it "wasn't her time" in 2017 but that "her time would come."

She was contacted at the start of the pandemic for another tryout. Only did the promo tryout and felt much more comfortable.

After the pandemic, she was messaged that she had been selected to join WWE.

Was very excited to sign her contract and said she was "rich" after converting the money to Brazilian. The person she has spoke to had left the company and she was unsure if she would still be in the company.

After months had passed, she got her contract and signed it.

When she arrived in Orlando, everything went wrong.

"I experienced a shooting in a mall. I was in a restroom with six women, terrified, hearing shots, praying to God. I messaged the company, people who manage it, telling them where I was, that I was in a restroom with girls who didn't speak my language as I only spoke Portuguese and didn't speak English. I arrived without understanding anything."

Calmed down after the incident and started to settle.

Started looking for an apartment and a car, and found that things were more expensive. Found a car that was not worth the price. "I liked it, but it was a mistake. I was deceived. I didn't hear the noises the car was making because I'm a woman, you know? I liked the car and I didn't see any problems and they sold me the car."

Says living in Orlando is expensive. Dreams of being rich in Brazil started to fade.

Problems started when she would have to drive to shows. She didn't want to drive alone because it wasn't safe. She tried making friends but it was hard with the language barrier. She said she was new and already on TV, which caused jealousy.

"People didn't want to help or give me a ride. Even those who spoke my language didn't help. There was rivalry within the company. We could have a bad time and say: hey, you're like me, you're the same as me, you're from my country, let's hold hands and go to the show together, let's help each other."

Says the situation became increasingly difficult and she started feeling unwell and sensing something bad would happen. "I began experiencing panic and anxiety."

"In December 2022, my anxiety escalated. I was training and fell, not recalling hitting my head, only my back. When I stood up, I felt a blackout in my head, like everything stopped. I continued training, but the next day, while driving and talking to my mom, I felt a THUMP in my head. I felt the same blackout sensation in my head. As if my head were stopping for a minute. I began to worry as it had happened twice. That night, I felt the sensation again while lying in bed."

Contacted the company because she was worried. They claimed she had a concussion. She demanded to undergo a medical exam. No one would go to her with the exam. The exam showed nothing. She started feeling good and no longer had the THUMP feeling for a week.

She then started feeling tired and no longer had the desire to train. She started seeing herself as old and tired. She said that water started to taste different and it would mess with her mentally.

Went to do weight training and noticed that her hair was shorter. She sent a photo to her mom and her mom told her that nothing was wrong and that it was all in her head.

When she went home, she combed her hair and a clump came out. Was worried something was happening to her. She talked to people and WWE and doctors, begged to go to Brazil. She said they didn't let her go to Brazil in December because she had just arrived in July, but she saw all the Americans going home for Christmas to see their family except her.

She said she was not well, and that they did let her go home to Brazil. Her family told her she was not okay. She found an unknown AirTag tracker in her suitcase that was connected to her phone. She began crying and worried that someone was following her.

She said her sadness and anxiety was getting worse. She thought someone was entering her apartment and drugging her because the water tasted different and her hair was falling out.

She sent an email to WWE saying she would not be returning. She said she sent the AirTag back to WWE and filed a police report in Orlando. She says the process is still ongoing and that she hopes to one day find out who the person was that put the AirTag in her bag.

WWE made several offers and proposals for her to return, but she is not going to risk her life or her family's life. She says it's dangerous for her to live in the country and she had to do this for herself.

She thanked fans for their support and is sad that she couldn't live out her dream.

Superstar-Cody Rhodes x Fem!OC reader

Summary: It's my first day of my WWE tryout at the Performance Center. As I'm getting prepared mentally before my tryout, that is when my thoughts and emotions start to kick in.

Thankfully, The American Nightmare himself notices and helps me relax. As him and I talk, I realize who I'm talking to as I remember about my tiny crush on Cody. A cute friendship blossoms between us, as I hope for more in the relationship in the future. Tiny steps!

(Warnings: None-Fluffy! Kind of a short story!)

Today is the big day. The day where my pro wrestling career could potentially change my life.

I hope in a good way of course!

When it was time for my tryout, I packed my car with my wrestling bag with my gear, a water bottle and other important things I might need, and off to the Performance Center I went.

It was a pretty peaceful car ride there. The bright sun and blue sky was always a treat as I drove. It made me believe that my dreams were coming true even more.

As soon as I entered the parking lot of the Performance Center and took the steps out of my car and to the entrance of the famous building where many of my favorites I've idolized have been trained.

Quickly checking my phone as I got even closer to the doors, I noticed what time it was and softly gasped.

"I'm ten minutes early. Oh no!"

Realizing I probably couldn't go back to my car, I decide to be bold and just go in and wait inside. Nothing bad could happen by doing that.

Right?

Seconds after I entered the building, my eyes take notice of the busy and loud atmosphere of either actual wrestlers training in some of the squared circles around me, or of people talking amongst one another near me.

Not knowing who to talk to or what to do next, I stood by the doors as my heartbeat began to increase rapidly. My nerves were starting to act up and it wasn't the right time.

"Breathe, Sadie. Just breathe." I whispered to myself to hopefully relax my nerves.

A few minutes go by and more people trying out as well began to make their way into the Center which made ne start to relax a little bit.

Unbeknownst to me however, a certain famous, extremely popular, and incredibly handsome tall and blonde pro wrestler took notice of me and wanted to make sure that I was alright.

He could tell I was nervous.

I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. Causing me to flinch for a second as I quickly turn to the side to face who was reaching out to me.

"Hey, are you okay? Is this your first time here?" He asked in a soft tone.

I smile softly up at him and nod my head. Slight nervousness continues to glow right through me. I rest my hand on top of my neck briefly, as I look in front of me and noticed that it was getting more packed with people who were here for the tryouts too.

I nod my head in response to the man's question, "Oh yes, I think I'll be alright. And yes. This is my first time here. My tryout is scheduled for today in a little bit and I'm starting to feel the pressure." I spoke nervously about that fact as my heart anxiously danced in my chest.

The blonde famous pro wrestler nodded his head as he softly smiled at me. "Ohh I gotcha! Tryouts are always nerve wracking, I felt the same way with mine." He smiled more down at me as I started to feel calm after hearing his kind words.

"I felt the same with my tryouts a long time ago. I'm positive that you'll do awesome! You got this, future superstar! My name is Cody by the way." The young blonde pro wrestler kindly stated which made my smile increase.

Seconds later, my heart begins to beat, but not in a nervous way this time. Instead of nervousness, it's beats of love as my ears beamed with the sudden realization of who I was talking to and in the presence of.

It was the name that always made my heart beat a million times a minute just by hearing, followed by a blushy smile if I saw a photo of him or saw him on TV.

I was in the presence of my new favorite male wrestler and wrestler crush known as The American Nightmare himself, Cody Rhodes.

Trying to play it cool and less obvious of my little crush on him, I continued to smile at Cody. "That is such a huge relief! I am so glad that someone else here can relate to how I'm feeling."I stated as a sigh of relief escaped my lips.

"Thank you so much, Cody. You are too kind. It's such a huge honor to meet you. My name is Sadie." I thanked him for being so kind to me, a stranger, a fan of his who he's never met before until today. My smile only continued to grow from this point.

Cody also continued to smile back at me, which made my heart beam with pure happiness. "Of course, Sadie. It is a pleasure meeting you too." He winked down at me. His hand gently tapping and resting on top of my shoulder briefly.

Feeling his hand on my shoulder causes me to blush a little but I didn't want Cody to notice, I quickly bite the corner of my lip and giggle softly, as does Cody too.

"Say, if you aren't here for a tryout, then what brings the American Nightmare here today?" I asked as a soft giggle left my lips once more.

Cody smirked and glanced down at the floor momentarily and back at me. "Well, Hunter, known as Triple H and Shawn Michaels,-he's in charge of NXT and developmental, the two of them had invited me and a few other superstars to help out with everything here today." Cody said with a bright smile.

I nodded my head. Honestly, I didn't know that some of the famous wrestlers like Cody, would be at this event today, helping out.

That is really cool.

"That's fascinating! I think it's wonderful that current superstars like yourself get to be apart of historic events like this one, even if it is just a tryout." I said with beaming delight.

"Just think, one day you'll be one of the superstars helping out for a tryout for other aspiring pro wrestlers too." Cody chirped, grinning which caused me to giggle.

Suddenly, one of the assistant people in charge of the tryouts came up to me and politely introduced themselves to me briefly. "Hi, Sadie right? It's your turn for your tryout. Please follow me."

I nodded my head and quickly looked back at Cody with a smile again. He and I waved to each other, "I'll be waiting right here when you're finished to hear all about it. Please don't be shy to come and find me when you're finished. Go kick some ass, Superstar!" He winked at me while whispering softly to me.

I blush again a tiny bit and giggle like usual again. I placed my hand atop of my heart. Hearing how kind and welcoming Cody has been towards me makes my heart beam with all kinds of happiness and even making me fall for him a little bit more now.

I love that so much.

I turned my attention to the assistant who called for me to join the line of a few others who were trying out too alongside me.

I nodded my head and gave them a thumbs up before turning back to face Cody for a second briefly. "Thank you so much! I really appreciate that and you so much. I will most definitely come back and find you afterwards. I promise."

Cody smirked as he nodded his head at my response. I turn back around and follow the assistant to join the line and wait for my tryout to begin as Cody watches from the sidelines.

My tryouts were so great and I was really and very happy with how successful it all went and how I did. On my way back to the spot in the PC where Cody said he would look out for me afterwards, I was very out of breath and very thirsty... for water obviously!!

Cody and I spot each other and we both smile when I got to where he was. We greeted one another and he kindly handed me a water bottle, which I thank him for as I take it.

As I glanced up at him again, Cody smirked at me as he had a curious look on his face. That to me meant that he wanted to hear all about how my tryouts went and what I thought about it.

"Hey!! There she is! How do you think you did out there?"

"Everything out there went surprisingly really well. I am honestly really happy with how it went. I think I earned a spot for sure." I chirped with excitement and I winked at Cody.

"Oooh hell yes! That's my girl... I mean- that's my superstar!! That is the exact response I expected to hear! I am so beyond proud of you." Cody said high fiving me while smiling an even bigger smile at me.

Giving him a high five back, I flush after hearing what Cody said. Did he actually mean what he said when he called me "his girl"?

I really hope he meant it.

"Thank you so much, Cody. You are too kind. I truly appreciate you and your sweet words. Do you happen to know what happens next in the tryouts? Just curious." I asked curiously.

"Well, there are only one set of tryouts today and you completed it already. You should receive an email or phone call from Hunter within the next couple of weeks." Cody stated as I nodded.

"For me however, there's still a lot of people here who have to tryout, which means I have to continue helping out and make sure that everything goes smoothly here." He concluded, nodding his head as he grinned at me.

Smiling more after hearing what Cody explained, I thought it was so sweet of him helping out with an event such as this. "That sounds so fun. You're an excellent teacher to have and to learn from." I chirped as he placed his hand on top of his heart.

"Thank you so much, Sadie. You're truly one of a kind." Cody replied as the smile on his face kept growing.

My smile never left my face either. I then looked around the room and saw how packed it was getting with people who were trying out throughout the day.

I didn't want this to be the end of getting to talk more to Cody, but he's a busy man who has things to do around here.

"I think this is where we part ways now. It's getting pretty busy in here now and I'm sure Triple H or Shawn will be calling you for assistance soon. It was very nice and such a huge honor to meet, Cody." I said as I glanced down at the ground, not ready to say goodbye to one of my favorite wrestlers.

Somehow Cody noticed my emotions quickly change. He rose an eyebrow playfully before gently resting his hand on my shoulder, causing me to look up at him again.

"Aww, you are too cute and the sweetest person that I've met all day, my superstar. Even if I do get pulled to the side to help out, I'm sure I'll still remember and think of you."

My ears beamed with happiness as my heart beat more and more as I listened to what Cody was telling me.

"I am more than sure it would be okay if you hung out here, help me out around here. Say, would you like to go get milkshakes with me? My treat! Yeah I haven't had sugar in months, but milkshakes sound delicious right now. I was thinking perhaps we could get to know each other some more while we're at it? " Cody asked curiously as he smiled at me.

Was this a dream? Please some one pinch me or wake me up if it is...

I agreed to join Cody to get a milkshake with him. I'd be a fool to pass that up. "Yes, please. Count me in. I'd love to get a milkshake with you, Cody. I know we just met, but it feels like we've known one another much longer."

Maybe it was where I was standing or something, but every time I spoke was when I could see Cody blush, even if it was a tiny bit I still noticed.

"I must admit the things coming out of your mouth are so cute, and are making me feel a certain way haha. That is wonderful. I know a place that serves milkshakes and it's just a few minutes from here. We could walk there or I could give you a piggy back ride there, you know since your muscles still might be sore from the tryout and all." Said Cody as he sent a wink my way again.

I widened my eyes from excitement as the blush upon my face came back. "Why thank you so much. A piggy back ride sounds fabulous. How did you get to be so sweet?"

Cody's smile grew bigger as did the blush on his face which warmed my heart. He quickly turned around, his back facing me which allowed me to hop onto his back for the piggy back ride. "I don't think my face has ever been this red before haha. Enjoy the ride, superstar!"

The piggy back ride was a blast and before I knew it, we had made it to the restaurant that had seats and tables for outdoor eating, along with an indoor setting too. Cody stepped to the side as he carefully let me off his back, before smiling brightly at me.

"Looks like we're here. Would you like to take a seat out here? Or is indoor eating more of your thing?"

I glanced at the restaurant and thought it was really cool and looked yummy. "Oooh this place looks like a cool joint. I enjoy both, dinning in or outside. Would it be alright if we stayed indoors? If that's okay with you?" I asked as a nervous grin appeared on my face.

My nervousness was replaced immediately with Cody's warmness of his giggles that echoed through my ears.

"Of course. Anything for my superstar! That is totally okay." Said Cody, winking down at me, causing me to smile more and blush again. We then walked to the doors of the restaurant. Cody held the door open for me and we entered.

A few minutes later and Cody and I had decided on getting actual food alongside with the milkshakes. "I'm not sure how hungry you are but if you want to get food with the milkshake then I'd be totally down for that. Or if you just want a milkshake that would be okay too. I'm a flexible guy... both in and out of the ring haha."

Giggles kept escaping my mouth while I nodded my head. We decided on getting an actual meal, cheese burgers, alongside a milkshake because by that time, it was lunch time and our appetites became more and more hungry.

A few minutes later and our food was ready for us. Grabbing a seat at a table for the two of us, Cody smiled at me as he sat across from me at our table.

"So, what does my superstar have planned for the rest of the day?"

A silly smile was painted on my face after hearing what he asked. "Firstly, I wanted to mention how cute that 'Superstar ' nickname you have for me is..." I stated with that same blushy grin on my face.

Cody grinned as he chuckled while taking a sip of his milkshake. "I'm glad you like it. The nickname's perfect for you. It suits you as you are the cutest superstar I've ever laid my eyes on haha."

Blushing like crazy, I giggled softly as I placed my hand atop of my heart. I couldn't believe my ears. Cody thought I was cute.

"Ugh stop it, Cody! You are such a charmer." I chirped with a giggle as I playfully tapped his hand.

My hand was still resting atop of Cody's arm when he then gently took hold of my hand and smiled a blushy smile at me, causing my heart to flutter.

"See what I mean, Superstar? You truly are the cutest that I have ever seen and I mean that one hundred percent." Cody winked at me before taking my hand in his still when he planted a kiss atop of my knuckle / hand.

At this point, my face is as red as a tomato and I love every last moment of it. My heart could not stop beating. I took a deep breath and giggled softly to calm my romantic nerves.

"That was so cute! As for today goes, I was thinking maybe the two of us could continue to spend time together, see where this goes for the both of us, if you know what I mean and if that's okay with you, Cody?" I asked but slightly stuttering out my response, embarrassed by my question, hoping Cody wouldn't mind.

"It would be my honor, my superstar! I actually was going to ask you the same thing. You beat me to it haha." Cody replied, playfully pointing his finger in my direction.

With that very same soothing chuckle that calmed your nerves once before today. My heart danced inside my chest. I couldn't stop smiling and blushing.

I couldnt believe that it was all happening for me.

I knew at this point that you weren't dreaming anymore, and that is exactly how I liked it.

Brian Pillman Jr.'s Journey Begins in WWE NXT

There was that clip of that one interview Jade did where she talked about being booked to hit somebody with a chair and she had no idea how to do it. Nobody in the back would show her how to do a safe chair shot until she got to Punk and he taught her.

I think Jade looks cool, but they never gave her time to learn how to wrestle. Like, she can barely do basic things. AEW just gave her the Goldberg push and sent her off. If WWE was crazy enough to sign her without a tryout match, she's going to get exposed in her first feud unless they pair her with someone who can cover it like Dakota Kai or Becky.

I don't think WWE is stupid enough to rush her to the main roster. She could be a player for them for a long time, but she probably needs to round out her game at the performance center and/or NXT for that to happen.

ALL OF OUR FEELINGS TOWARD VINCE MCMAHON.

Max Caster of The Acclaimed with all of our thoughts towards Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon is probably the most hated man in all of pro wrestling as he should be. He is corrupt, evil and vile AF but somehow always makes it out on top. He is also a sexual assaulted and predator too. We all saw it during the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression Era. Vince is a pure POS! Vince hates pro wrestling and everything he created. His ego is psychotic and uncontrollable. He would rather tank his own company and sell it than to have Triple H run it. Vince has always hated his son in law Triple H because he knows us fans love and respect Triple H and not him. Vince has always been seething jealous of his son in law. Now with the soon to be sale of the WWE that entire roster and crew has got to be teetering on the edge with their anxiety at an all time sky high out of fear of losing their jobs with the new owner or perhaps mass firings before the sale of the company. They are probably worried sick over their job security and rightfully so. The WWE was going so good under Triple H. Now it’s going to go to complete hell because we all know Vince is gonna want total control again. Who knows if Vince is using the threat of a sale to gain back his power and control again. I wouldn’t put it past that bastard. If Vince does take total control again I would not be surprised if he brought back John Laurenitas. Vince, John, Bruce and Shawn Michaels are effectively running that company into the ground. I can’t help but to think that the wrestlers that had tryouts with the WWE but were turned away dodged a major bullet with WWE because there is no job security. They need to be able to live and put food on the table. They are thriving in AEW, Impact, New Japan and elsewhere. This may have been a blessing for them. Max Caster reflects all of our views on Vince and the WWE with the return of Vince McMahon. My heart truly breaks for all of the WWE Super Stars(NOT you Charlotte Flair) as they have to be terrified right now. I hope and pray for them. God Save Us All From Vince McMahon. FUCK!

Have you listened to Wardlow latest's interview, where he talks about his WWE tryout? He said he aced it and they still didn't want him and told him "go make a name for yourself". And he was laughing about it and said, "how do you like my name now?"

Okay so long story short, Max had a WWE tryout for Regal 7 years ago. Regal was very impressed, but thought he was too young, so he requested monthly updates. After 3 months, he sent Max a VICIOUS email telling him to not waste his time and Max basically wanted to kill himself as a result (I don't blame him, that email was horrific) and Regal was nothing less than amused that Max had held onto it for 7 years and offered Max a shot at him, but Max didn't take it

WWE had always felt like a pipe dream to you. They had taken so many of your friends that you always assumed that they wouldn't have any room for you. At first, you had been sad about that, but then when WWE finally reached out to you, things changed. You were nervous about your tryout, like somehow something would go terribly wrong. The universe had decided to show you mercy during your tryout and the first couple months of your PC training leading up to your debut on NXT: Level Up. You lost that match, but everyone was still praising your performance. Things were looking up, which was when you finally ran into Tegan.

Tegan Nox had once been your number one. The two of you had never officially ever gotten together, but you loved her like no other. You had hoped that she would have stayed on Smackdown, despite the fact that they weren't really using her. Of course, she had to get sent down to NXT at the same time that you were coming up. In all honesty, you understood why Triple H and Shawn Michaels did that, even if you didn't like it. There was a story to tell with you and Tegan, one that fans who had been following your careers were sitting on the edges of their seats to watch unfold.

Tegan had been unveiled in an interesting fashion. You had been losing your match, so she decided to come and save you. Nobody had told you beforehand that it was happening, so the reunion was truly organic. Your opponent scurried out of the ring while Tegan came over to check on you. She tried to touch you, but you didn't let her. You kept moving away from Tegan, as if she had just been the one beating you up. Tegan looked sad, almost as if she didn't remember the last time you'd both seen each other. No matter how far away from her you tried to get, Tegan always seemed to be right behind you as you made your way backstage.

"Get the fuck away from me!" you snapped. Tegan flinched as you yelled at her.

"Y/n, please. I want to make sure you're okay. Zoey was pulling on your shoulder pretty hard," Tegan said softly. She always knew just how to talk to you, even when you didn't want her to. You hated that she still knew you so well. God, you wished that you had grown up and matured out of person that Tegan had known you to be. From what you had heard, Tegan had changed quite a bit since you knew her. "I know that it hurts, let me take care of you."

"Why the hell would I trust you? Do you know what you did to me?" you asked her.

"You told me to leave, that this would be better for me."

"That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about you hitting me with a trash can and pressing my face into the thumbtacks with your boot Tegan. Don't you remember that match, when my actual opponent for the night was the one taking care of me like you should have." You poked Tegan's chest with your finger to emphasize each of your statements. "Why'd you do it?"

"We don't have to do this," Tegan whispered. You laughed in disbelief.

"Yes we do. Otherwise, I'll leave you on your own here. I can make my own friends, Tegan. You used to have me thinking that I couldn't do it on my own, but look at me now baby," you told her. Tegan swallowed nervously as she rubbed the back of her neck. "So, I'll ask you again. Why did you do it, Tegan?"

"Because I couldn't leave you in another country to chase our dream by myself if I knew you were waiting for me," Tegan answered. You nodded your head a couple of times before just walking away from Tegan. You didn't know where you were going, but you had your answer. The years of waiting had amounted to that, so now you had to figure out whether or not you were disappointed. Tegan's answer was selfish and probably not even completely true, but she had told it to herself over and over again until she believed it. Now, you had to do the same if you would ever forgive her.

Is Mariah AEW bound?

The next name to become ‘All Elite’ has potentially been revealed.

STARDOM star Mariah May has gained the attention of several major promotions, and there is now traction that the 25-year old may become All Elite.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), there has been discussion within AEW about potentially working with Mariah May.

WWE had reached out to May back in 2019 during a WWE UK Performance Center Tryout almost immediately after her wrestling career started.

Fightful was told that WWE has kept an eye on her ever since then, but it’s AEW that has been picking up steam as a potential landing point.

Fightful has not been told if May has had conversations with either AEW or WWE, as she is currently in Japan working a heavy schedule with STARDOM.

There has been some speculation over the past week that she may be finishing up in Japan and be signed elsewhere, as she shut down her Big Cartel store, posting a tweet that said ‘I will never forget this time of my life. Thankful’ while remembering some of her matches in Japan.

The prior day, May and Mina Shirakawa dropped the Goddess of Stardom titles to the Cosmic Angels.

Fighful has not confirmed that she has signed with AEW, but there is ‘certainly traction’ to her going there.
