hi! what are your favourite kdramas?

hello!!! honestly it’s been awhile since I’ve actively watched kdramas (getting back into it now) but some of my favorites are strangers from hell, d.p., vincenzo, itaewon class, and bloodhounds :)

there’s so so so many more on my watchlist but it’s unfortunately been really hard esp in the past couple of years to commit to watching something subtitled

5.) ooooh interesting question. I would like to think of myself as a human ‘being,’ seeing as I spend a lot of time in low energy activities and contemplation, but I guess I do identify myself by the things that I do more than how I am.

like with interests for example; when I’m doing something like writing or playing a game, I guess that’s more “me” than anything (did this make sense 😭)

9.) nah, I wouldn’t say I am. I guess it depends on how you define artist, because with music I definitely had an era when I was younger or sometimes I sit down and write but in an ‘art’ capacity? I could never

12.) oooooh this is a mixed one for me. personally, I always say I’m a cat person because I do love cats and think they’re amazing, but I’ve overall interacted with dogs far more and they’re lovely too

currently I’m replaying/revisiting stray gods to re-100% it after the dlc release so there’s a lot of those songs circling around my head again

I’d say “I Can Teach You” (the green version) from that game has been looping in my head; for some reason that’s the song my brain decided to latch onto this time around

another one would be armageddon by aespa because the pre-chorus and chorus wormed it’s way into my head and is looping

then my last pick is my mitski song of the month which goes to real men

honorable mentions go to like that! by laila, please please please by sabrina carpenter, and good luck, babe because those three were driving me insane a couple weeks ago with how much certain parts were repeating in my mind

Is there any fandom you're part of that you wished more people were part of? Like underrated/really small fanbase/just kinda niche

I feel like being a person who plays a good handful of single player games, a lot of the times when I do really like the game it’ll end up not having much of a fandom </3

here are my four pitches for things I like that I wish had some more fan engagement (,:

1. bully (rockstar games, 2006)

this is an absolute old gem from rockstar that I had a lot of fun with (minus the crashes that erased hours of gameplay) and I would love to see more fanart and things for it (it has gotten more attention in the let’s play space in recent years which is nice).

2. sleeping dogs (united front, 2012)

now this is one of my favorite favorite games that I really enjoyed playing through for both the story and other gameplay aspects. it was a solid, chill game difficulty wise, and I really really wish it had more fans so that I could watch more creator content for it (I’ve given up on a sequel 💔)

3. fables (dcu comics)

I’m not that much of a comic person at all (genuinely only consume comics from wiki info/summaries) but I really liked the premise of the fables series enough to actually sit and read through part of it (twau 2 is set to be released this year too !!). I just wish it had more attention so that I could read more fics and buy physical volumes of it other than online sets (scoured comic cons for it and found nothing.)

4. doctor strange (mcu)

again not a comics person so I haven’t had the capacity to even dip my toes into his comics but mcu-wise, I really wish he got some more appreciation from the larger fandom so that I could eat up more strange-centric fics (something about that sorcerer and his world is addicting asf)

(yes, strange is not an underrated character in the grand scheme of things though)

I always say in my mind that I’ll get to it eventually (i.e. finishing anything worthy of being posted) but I’m so bad at committing to anything productive and too good at yearning and eating up content

my style is a bit of a mess (my wardrobe’s never gotten a full rework, just bits and pieces over years) but I would describe it these days as cozy/classy. I love me some brown shades or generally dark toned colors, loose jeans or slacks, and a turtleneck, sweater, or loose t-shirt. that doesn’t really cut things down much, but that’s the best way I can describe a good chunk of what I wear.

my dream fit would probably be something totally different, like streetwear, ouji, or 2000s alternative.

of course! sorry it took so long for me to respond.

thinking of my favorite anime is hard. if I go just based off of enjoyment/how much I’ve thought about it and interacted with content, it would probably be between Naruto or Saiki K, but I’m sure there’s a few others I thought were really really good

the first one I’ve ever watched was glitterforce when it first came out (according to the crowd I should have watched smile precure instead LMAO), which, while very predictable and pretty mid, it holds a special place in my heart for the hold it had on me and my friendgroup at the time :)

most recently I watched an episode of twilight out of focus with a friend who pretty much solely watches romance animes, but the most recent anime I’ve watched with the intent of finishing (which has been left on pause for a couple months…) is psycho-pass, since I started a bit of it years ago and wanted to get around to finishing it

yoooo ironically in the time that I first asked/not long after I watched a shop for killers and really liked it !!! so happy it’s getting a season 2

beyond evil has most definitely been on my radar but I haven’t finished it because I started it with a friend several months ago and we haven’t found the time to sit and watch through a drama together since 💔 definitely want to watch it though I’ve heard about the gays

I actually made a new immediate watch list for kdramas some weeks ago and signal is deffo on there ! if you’re saying it’s fire I might move it up in priority after I finish some of the ones I’m still watching

I’ve heard about happiness and moving too :)) honestly I really do love the action/thriller/horror plots in kdramas but recently I’ve been in a bit of a makjang era LOL

that and my current method of “catching up” is backtracking through kdrama filmographies by the actors/actresses I’ve already loved (which has led me into at least one romcom I would normally avoid)…something about seeing them play whatever role will make me watch almost anything no lie
