I wanted to thank you for all your help with Linux! <3

I had complained about strange pink flashes (not pink soup exactly, but more like the whole screen went pink for a quick fraction of second), and I wanted to let you know that it was entirely my fault lol. I had forgotten, lo and behold, to enable DXVK at install 😅😂 I was in a rush that day and didn't check things properly.

Regarding the audio, I gave in and used the monitor jack port instead of hdmi audio. No idea what's wrong with pipewire and hdmi 😭 it really bugs me that I have to use a cable for a software issue, but it works, so I can live with it :)

I'm still on Kubuntu because uni is taking up most of my time rn and I haven't had a chance to try Fedora or an Arch-based distro, but I'm having so much fun, I absolutely want to try them all and maybe switch in the future!

TL;DR thank you, the bugs and glitches are fixed, I was just a noob 😂

DaylifeSims Alfalfa Braids V1 converted to TS2 by RascalCurious – in Poppet V2

I used Poppet’s v2 natural and unnatural colours as well as BerryNooboos’ cosmic, Wyxii’s mint, Furbyq’s afterglow and PMG's amphitrite. As for texture I blended in Nouk’s Afro texture.

Polycount 11.7k; female frame; grey-unnatural gradients are for y.adults-elders, all other colors are teens-elders; grey binned to black and all naturals binned into one file; mesh included in download (I smoothed the scalp a bit).

hello, thank you! i meant to reply to this earlier but i was still finishing up these conversions and ran into some issues haha. it's a personal conversion of the for rent rural cluster mailbox, which i might as well share. keep in mind i have since replaced it with the flag up state, which has the left box stuffed with letters.

i also tossed in a conversion of the industrial cluster mailbox. both are deco only, in deco/misc, cost 150 simoleons, and come recolored in a few image spectra colors. the red swatch is the mesh. all files compressorized. they're a bit scuffed but they serve my purposes (many thanks to @/kayleigh-83 @/xwhitepolar @/andrevasims for helping me figure out the issues i was having with these conversions). enjoy!

💿The Afterglow Hair System Starter Hair Dump💿

This has been brewing up since July but I'm very happy to say I'm finally done with this! The Afterglow Hair System is basically Sunshine and Zeb blended 50/50 because I wanted something softer than sunshine that still has depth. The natural colours are Poppet V2 Black, Skittles Hair System Brown, Io honey, a ginger I made and Pooklet Mail Bomb; The unnatural colours are Pooklet TNT, FurbyQ Afterglow, a green I made, Wyxii Mint, Pooklet Shock Wave, Poppet Lavender, Skittles Hair System Wild Berry and Pooklet Powder Cake; Swatches, more info and download under the cut!

In the hair dump you'll find 272 hairs in total, 144 being for female sims and 128 being for male sims. Here's a list of all hairs included in this hair dump! This hair dump also features 6 hairs converted and retextured in Afterglow by @nonsensical-pixels :)

Four (five) hairs I retextured in Afterglow as part of my defaults project - Wings OE1024, TZ0114, TZ1016 and TZ1226 (and flipped).

1024 is PM-EM, mesh is pmg's aabg but I only did male. Polycount is 6k.

0114 is PU-EU, pmg's mesh. Afterglow wavy texture. Polycount is 7k.

1016 is CU-EU, xwhitepolar's poly reduction of entropy's mesh. Polycount is 15k.

1226 is PM-EM, both original and flipped meshes by deedee. Both are in the same folder because if you're like me you'll want both anyways. Polycount is 16k.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that your default alien eyes (the ones that are like the console games) seem to be broken for the teen life stage

hi! thats not really how eye defaults work in general, because all life stages are linked to/use the same single texture, meanig it can only show up identically on every life stage (and ive been playing several legacy generations with them, so i would've noticed). the only thing i can think of is that you have some kind of genetics modifying mod, or perhaps a different alien default somewhere, thats conflicting with this one.

edit: ty xwhitepolar! apparently alien eyes r borked for teens in general, ive been using creaturefixes for eternities and therefore never heard of this issue, so that should fix it for u, too!
