I know I’ve posted a preview of this 2 months ago, but I decided to put the whole thing in here as well.

 Anyway, this is not a ship edit to me ,but y’all free to think it is since it has some of the loved non-canon ships as well (Hajimari no Sayonara Miku and Kazuki + the new blue characters would get their video soon bc I’m too heartbroken lol). I just love these characters as a whole, and I find it comforting and relatable for stories like these.. 

 because truth be told, not everyone would get their feelings returned, but it does not mean that the people with unrequited love should feel invalidated with their feelings. Actually, their feelings even if it gets unnoticed is still ultimately genuine. Falling without someone catching you is painful as heck, but what choice do people have with their feelings right? It takes a great amount of courage to be able to let go and move on which I admire these characters for, and I hope that even if I can’t have my own Ryou/Kotaro/Juri, I would eventually be able to do the same.

My own list in this post is anime, manga, games mostly but in the spreadsheet you can add anything.

Following my tierlist of them, I realized I should make a public list so theyre not just kept in my head, since I spent quite a while finding these characters. If you want to watch/play anything with trans or gnc characters, you can use this list.

They range from good rep to bad, characters viewed as "traps" or not taken seriously to ones that the whole fandom understands is trans. I've added trigger warnings to the characters and fandoms I know can be triggering. I've also put certain names in bold to show that they're a main character, but i've only watched a few on this list so some are missing.

I would add trigger warnings for "bury your gays" and similar tropes, but I want to avoid spoilers. Maybe you can look it up first if you're worried. I've tried to exclude characters that are referred to as hermaphrodites.

They're unfortunately not real spooky they're like teehee Halloween spooky and it is sooo hard to assign them songs cuz I can only find actual horror instead of the silly kind </3 ALSO I FORGOT THEIR UNIT IS NAMED "GRAVENIGHT" (in all caps)

I added the theme tags later but to expand on that; The leader Miyako Kurosawa is themed on Vampires, Juurou Hayashi is themed on Zombies, Yuto Amano is themed on Ghosts (specifically a yurei), and Tsuneo Yamamoto is themed on Mummies. Just like canon they all have a theme in their last names! Biomes!!

I kinda have an outfit idea in mind for them and it's just like a neat little suit with small top hats hats specific to their themes (Vampire has fang design, Zombie looks stitched up, [idk ghost], Mummy has bandages on the base)

Designs. Uhhh. I only know Yuto has long black hair like the yurei ghost. Because I don't actually have mental faces for them RN, Miyako looks like An, Juurou looks like if you blended Akito and Tsukasa and general silliness, and Tsuneo looks like Toya. Why are they VBS to me? No idea, I've been trying to mold their faces to be unique in my head and it's just not happening.

ALSO because this unit has 2 guys (matching canon gender patterns) their assigned Vocaloid is Kaito and their vocaloids are all classic monsters from famous novels. Miku is Frankenstein's Monster and the Kagamines are Jeckyl and Hyde (IDK which is which tho). I don't know about the others yet.

The few songs I've assigned them are: Happy Halloween (Not) a Devil Vampire [I should probably assign zombies but i didn't know the song yet when the list was made]

Having run a TTRPG system based on samurai (Legend of Five Rings) and drafting a fic that takes place in Inazuma (largely Japan-based region in Genshin Impact the video game), I wanted to do a bit of research on the culture with the limited resources my public library could provide.

While we could just put them in the schools in-game, there’s a lot of us, and most of us have at least 2+ groups. It just seemed more fun to have a different setting. Instead of being set in Shibuya, we’re in the Shizuoka Prefecture.

For the schools, we have three!

Noshiro All Girls Academy (rich all-girls private academy)

Yamamoto Public High School (mixed gender high school)

Matsuyama University (bc some of us wanted to have older ocs!)

Secondly, since majority of us are Vocaloid/Vocal Synth fans first before becoming Sekai fans, we thought it would be more fun if we didn’t limit ourselves to just the Crypton synths as Virtual Singers (this is nice because while I do like the Crypton synths, I’m not their biggest fans lol rip). So any Vocal Synth character from any engine (Vocaloid, UTAU, Synthesizer V, etc) are capable of being a Virtual Singer!

The way I see it, any synth can be a favourite and/or emotional comfort to someone, and Sekai is all about feelings. If you don’t have any strong attachments to the Crypton synths, it’s not as fun. For me, I'll mostly attached to Vocaloids, so there will be more of them here!

Thirdly, if anyone decides to check out the playlists I made for my groups, you’ll probably notice that some of the songs are already in-game. Personally, as long as I don’t have more than 3 songs that are already covered in a group, then it’s fine! However, absolutely no songs that are specifically commissioned for the game itself because it just doesn’t sit right with me.

There's probably more that I'm forgetting rn, so I'll be adding to this later (forgive me as it is currently 1 a.m. /hj).
