I made this yarn bowl at one of those "paint your own ceramics" places! It was a birthday gift from my older sister ❤️
The loop cutout to hold yarn looked like a fish hook to me, so I made the whole thing a fish bowl! I painted some of my old betta fish on it, as well as one of the snails I had
Progress photos of current test knits. Doesn't look like a lot if change but there's been plenty of knitting this week. This is mitten #2; and the shawl is half done... about 32", unblocked. Enjoying both projects.

Everyone look at my super cool yarn bowl that I got from @madsciencepottery like a year ago. I saw this artist playing with a knitted texture mold for slab pottery and suggested making yarn bowls! And then got to watch the whole creation process here on tumblr and bought one of the first ones! There's currently some up for sale on their Etsy of the same name! Listing link here. In case anyone is jealous of my cool yarn bowl. I have a matching teapot and it's my favorite teapot because 1) it's super cool 2) it's my most well insulated teapot. It's been a year and I'm still not over how pleased I am with this thing. It lives on my desk so I can knit while I sit in front of my sun lamp without my yarn going everywhere. Highly recommend.
