Blue Blood AU - The Bakery

It was one of those April mornings that still seemed like winter. The world was still lingering on to its death-like sleep, and the primroses and peonies planted outside the Dupain-Cheng Bakery were still taking their time to bloom. And in the air, it had felt like it recently rained when it really hadn't. Maybe it was the grayness of the sky that made Marinette think such a thing.

The next customer to enter was a regular—Adrien was his name. He'd often come in once a week just to buy fresh bread, then mostly to talk, though Marinette was hesitant to call him a 'friend'. It was entirely because of her own doubts, and nothing to do with him. Adrien was very courteous and respectful, and when her father joked about the two marrying Marinette would never react with irritation. She was charmed by Adrien, but that was it—just charmed. She worried there was a hollowness to it.

When Adrien entered, a gust of wind seemed to follow behind him, one so cold it might've threatened to cover the tile floor in a layer of thin frost. He smiled warmly at Marinette, leading in another person by the hand—a young woman that stood about head shorter than him, endomorphic and soft like a bruised pear.

"Lovely morning, isn't it?" he beamed. "Hello Monsieur Dupain, Hello Marinette." And then he quickly dived into conversation with her father, asking about the day's batch of bread and pastries and taking an interest in the sweets in a way that he hadn't in any of his previous visits.

Marinette looked over to the tanned young woman beside him, her eyes scanning over every bandage and bruise on her arms and shoulders. That alone didn't mean anything—Marinette knew how often stupid injuries could happen, she'd known reckless people and she was particularly clumsy herself—but Marinette could also just look at her and tell that something was wrong. The young woman constantly looked on edge, never speaking, barely breathing, and she flinched when Adrien raised his hand while making small talk with Marinette's father.

She crept closer to where the young woman was standing, leaning over the display counter. When the woman noticed her, Marinette simply mouthed the words:

"Are you okay?"

The young woman didn't seem to understand it at first—She was surprised that someone found her worth speaking to, yes, but then she knit her brows together and squinted at Marinette. So, Marinette repeated herself, speaking as silently as possible.

"Are you okay?"

The young woman's face fell. Marinette wasn't sure what she was so scared about—She only wanted to help, after all. Then Marinette had this horrible thought that whatever was being done to this young woman was so incredibly bad that she didn't find herself worthy of help, or that any gesture of kindness was seen as someone new trying to abuse her. Marinette took out a slip of paper and a pen from her apron—She'd have the young woman write her name down, maybe even Adrien's full name, and then Marinette would file a report. There was really nothing else she could do unless she found out more, but Marinette couldn't let these two customers leave without doing something.

Another hand took the pen and paper.

When Marinette looked back into Adrien's eyes, she had never seen such an intense desire to kill. Not just kill—Murder. Every other time he'd visited, Adrien had been so kind and nice and even occasionally flirtatious with Marinette, and yet now it looked like Adrien wanted to do nothing more than lunge at her over the counter and slam her head into the tile until everything poured out of her broken skull. His eye twitched—Marinette stepped back. Even if there were three counters between them, it would've still felt too close.

Adrien laced his arm around the young woman's waist, took the baked goods he'd purchased, and hurriedly left the bakery.

For the next three days, the stare Adrien had given her was all Marinette would be able to think about. Morning, noon, and night. While baking, while running errands, as soon as she woke up and right before she fell asleep. It had been so cold, so hate-filled, and now the flickering image of it would haunt her day and night, because it was a promise for revenge (What did he even need revenge for?) that had not yet been settled. Every room would now feel laced with bear traps, and every dark corner would need a light shone into it in case a presence lurked there.

But she couldn't just let this pass, danger or not—What had her mother always said she was? An everyday.... "ladybug". Her mother had always loved ladybugs and the meanings they carried. Sabine said that ladybugs were a sign from God that there was always help, always hope. Marinette needed to be that young woman's ladybug.

Ruvik, Karl and the daemon bastard husband Ardyn 😂💙

Ruvik

First impression: Woah, who is this guy, and why is he so powerful? Is he a demon? A vengeful spirit? I am very intrigued.

Impression now: Oh god he’s tragic. OH GOD HE’S TRAGIC.

Favorite moment: In the first Kidman DLC, The Assignment, Ruvik has some absolutely spectacular dialogue with her and Leslie at the very end, after cornering them in the church. It gives me chills every time and the delivery is perfect.

“We’re all their pawns, eventual victims.

They killed me! They ripped me apart, and took what they needed.

I will destroy what they wish to control.”

The elevator scene with Sebastian is also great, but man this one is just sublime in every way.

Idea for a story: I’ve been playing with the idea for a x Reader fic with him, one in which they essentially kill him with kindness. He hasn’t experienced kindness or affection since the accident, so I’m excited to explore his character dealing with someone who doesn’t immediately find him repulsive or isn’t intimidated by him. There will also be lots of bumbling on his end, cause even though he’s smart af, he doesn’t know the first thing about relationships 😂

Unpopular opinion: He deserves compassion, and hating him is extremely shortsighted. Yes, he did terrible things, no one is debating that, but choosing to ignore the broken pieces of his humanity left in the game is being deliberately obtuse. Not saying you shouldn’t or can’t hate him, but it shouldn’t be without acknowledging his trauma. And putting others down for not hating him is downright juvenile.

Favorite relationship: I’m all about that self ship, which is probably his best bet at getting any romance, based on being…well, a serial killer. Some of my friends have shown me Ruvik x Stefano though, and that relationship would be interesting to say the least 😆

Favorite head cannon: Touch starved af and craves affection. Although touch starved is basically cannon, I think he also deeply craves some kind of connection with someone. He lost everyone he cared about; his sister died in the fire, his parents locked him in a basement, his research partner betrayed him, which lead to his death (the one he’s discussing in the above quote). I head cannon he longs for someone he can trust, really trust, and anguishes over his loneliness.

Moving on…

Karl Heisenberg

First impression: I hadn’t played the game, but I’d seen pictures of him. For some reason I thought he was the main villain, and was working with Chris to make the main character help him (no fucking clue how I arrived here 🤣🤣). Thought he was some big, gruff man who didn’t talk much and smiled even less. Why does he look like Ardyn?

Impression now: LMAOOO THIS DUDE IS A MASSIVE TROLL AND I AM SO HERE FOR IT 😂😂😂 I could not have been more wrong about him (or the plot, still not sure how I got there). He’s funny and I love his smile, and how much of a tool he is. I must say, I did not expect his voice to sound the way it does, but I’m not complaining 🥰

Favorite moment: Why isn’t there more of him why isn’t there more WHY ISN’T THERE MORE??? Anyway, probably when he tries to convince Ethan to work with him.

“Neither did I! But here we are.

And I’m next in line, right? Kill me, move up the chain!

Well, fuck that!”

Idea for a story: I’ve already mentioned I got something cookin in the old noggin, but I have more details on what I want to happen now, so I’ll be happy to share them! Surprise surprise, it’s x Reader, where they’re a botanist sent to survey the remote mountains of Romania. Collect data on the plants there for the university they work at, along with two colleagues who are cartographers, going to update outdated maps of the area. They get captured and typical RE shenanigans ensue, but I also want reader to be connected to Umbrella somehow, which I hope you can help me with. I want Miranda to know too, so she starts sending reader to all the Lords to see what happens. Little does she know reader starts to osmose some of all their powers, turning into something far more dangerous than she could’ve imagined.

Unpopular opinion: He has more respect for his partners than some of you seem to think. I’ve read plenty of stories where Karl is super hands on with his partner, slapping their ass and manhandling them all the time, sometimes hours after meeting them. Not my fuckin Heisenberg. He keeps his hands to himself, unless he has explicitly gotten permission to do any touching. Honestly wish some of y’all would tag your stories when you make him all grabby, it’s kinda triggering for me.

Favorite relationship: My first answer is going to be x Reader for all of these, I’m a sucker for the stuff. Although Karl x Ethan sounds endlessly amusing to me. Karl would be the puppy bouncing around everywhere while Ethan would brood in a corner 😂

Favorite head cannon: Extremely sensitive to trauma responses, and is good at comforting, due to the things Miranda did to him. He doesn’t want anyone he likes to know what that helplessness or fear feelings like.

Last, but the farthest thing from least…

Ardyn Izunia Lucis Caelum

First impression: I knew he was the villain before I started the game, but that’s all I knew. Thought he was funny as I actually got into the game, and why the hell is he everywhere??

Impression now: GREEK PLAY LEVEL TRAGIC HERO AND MY HEART ETERNALLY ACHES FOR HIM. Seriously, they did NOT need to fuck Ardyn up so much, there’s plenty of shit that happened to him that could make someone a villain by itself. But the gods and Squenix said ‘fuck this guy in particular’. I thought y’all called him ‘trash Jesus’ cause he looks like the guy, but NOOOOO there’s actually fucking parallels between the two. The healer, the betrayal, the crucifixion…not exactly subtle when you take the time to look. Aside from all that, I still love how funny he is, he always makes me laugh (when he’s not making me cry), and he’s super smart. Plus, I will always admire how he made it so he wins no matter what happens in the end. That takes some galaxy brain level planning.

Favorite moment: Imma let it speak for itself;

“You think ten years is a long time? It is nothing to me!

I have lived in darkness for AGES!”

God, the fucking level of emotion absolutely dripping from that last word kills me very time. Darin de Paul did excellently with Ardyn’s lines up until that point, but this one hits differently. The sheer anguish and sorrow you can hear in his voice is breathtaking. Made worse when you realize he’s being literal…he has spent actual ages locked in a dark cell. Words can’t properly give it credit.

Idea for a story: yall chapter 11 of ADCT is gonna be like 10k+ words 😂😂 Not done yet and it’s already at 7k lol. Hope that makes up for the 6 month hiatus 😵‍💫 Aside from that though, I have another idea for a long fic, albeit a shorter one. Where reader gets washed up on Angelgard before Verstael, and is horrified to find Ardyn strung up on the island. After freeing him, they have to work together to try to survive, figuring out how to get food, water, and fight off hypothermia. Verstael eventually arrives, and takes both of them back to Niflehiem.

Unpopular opinion: Most handsome character in FFXV by a long shot. He’s in space.

Favorite relationship: Apart from x Reader, I’m boring for this one. Ardyn x Aera, they’re so sweet and cute together. Forever bitter Ardyn didn’t get to reunite with her at the end. I know some people dig Ardyn x Gilgamesh, but meh, it’s just not for me. Hope y’all who do like it have fun with it though 😁

Favorite head cannon: Absolute teddy bear with his SOs, fucking bastard troll man with everyone else. Dynamic is super fun and amusing to me, I love the thought of him being a bean one moment then turning around and roasting Ravus with political talk the next. Oh, I also love the thought that he has a massive sweet tooth. Since his hair didn’t grow at all during his time on Angelgard, I like to think his body is in some kind of stasis, that it can’t be changed, and Ardyn takes full advantage of that. He’s got at least three different types of cake in his fridge, and several pints of ice cream in the freezer. He also keeps candy bars in his desk.

Gonna explain Monster Seeking Monster at some point? :O

Alright time to talk about Felica, there's no art currently because I can't draw tentacle monsters well and I'm currently bit lazy, but if you want to know what her true form look's like, she looks like L'netta from sucker love if she was purple and grey/gray and without wings. Anyway...backstory time

-Felica was born in the mid 1800's in a family of land owners in britan

-When she was 20, she started sailing to America with her fiancée, arranged to marry.

-At some point a group of sirens attacked the ship, trying to lure everyone off board.

-Felica panicked and jumped in to save her fiancée, inevitably Drowning in the process.

-She soon woke up in a cave near some form of spider lady, aka Laverne Cavern

-While yes she was revived as per request, there was a side effect, she was turned into a tentacle monster, and a side effect is that the form ends relationships for one reason or another

-As the years went by, she developed the ability to view someone's sexual preferences and help relationships grow, basically becoming a love doctor

-She also befriended a bunch of serial killers, including [REDACTED], helping them with their curse by bringing victims to him to kill.

-When [REDACTED]`s wife died, she tried to use cupid between him and another woman when it didn't work. She imeadieatly that he was homosexual and somewhere on the aro spectrum, but kept quiet about it until he actively came out to her.

-A few years later, she found a bunch of mysterious chemicals and used them to temporarily transform people into monsters and back in Monster Seeking Monster (or most of them)

-If you get the serial killer role, instead of being injected with chemicals, you end 3 criminals who have actively been a danger to society (with actually evidence)

-Felica in the mean time attempted to go into relationships again, bit to no avail until she meets Lady Raven at the hotel and meets up with Lavern again.

-She ends up in a relationship with both of them (she's polyamorous) , however a month into the relationship, she accidentally revealed her true form, and panicked

-She was worried that the relationship was going to end, however they both stuck on her side, pretty much bending the curse in her favor by admiring her form (and no not in a tentacle kink way you dirty minded fools) resulting in her being much more confident in her true form, and due to both her girlfriends being immortal and actively communicating to avoid being toxic, the relationship isn't going to end anytime soon.

-Felica is pan and uses she/her pronouns

The Hawk X Demetri Manifesto

Okay, here is the thing. Despite being well past my teens, there's a particular ship of Cobra Kai that has drawn my attention, this ship being Hawk/Eli x Demetri. When I first watched the show, I was actually more invested in the adult characters storylines than the teens. I immediately rooted for Johnny and Carmen, and I was always hoping for more interactions between them. But then I saw episode 2x05, in which the atmosphere between the Binary Brothers becomes way more dense, and that's when I started to see some potential for them. Not because I'm a deranged person who fosters abusive relationships, but because I immediately caught the hurt/comfort dynamic of the duo, which is something that works really well when it comes to fictional relationships. However, it wasn't until 3x10 that I said, "Ok, that's official, I need to see more of these two! I totally support them!" And I was quite surprised to find a fairly large amount of people who are very committed to this pairing, to the point it's caught the attention of the screenwriters/producers as well. Honestly, I don't know if the showrunners will ever have the guts to make them an official couple, and chances are their supporters will have to keep reading between the lines of their bromance, but in any case, here is my take on why Hawk/Eli x Demetri is an option worth to be considered.

#1 - The Bromance

If there's something that many years of navigating the Internet taught me, is that the main driving factor for fan-made ships is the presence of either a solid relationship based on mutual brotherly love or a bitter rivalry that may or may not flow into hate/obsession. If you consider anime fandoms, there are thousand examples that fit into either of these categories: Yugi and Jonouchi from the Yu-Gi-Oh series (yes, that's how old I am), Yugi and Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh, Sakuragi and Rukawa from Slam Dunk, Light and L from Death Note, etc. And our Hawk and Demetri fit into both categories. When we first see them, they are the stereotypical nerdy friends (possibly childhood friends?) sitting at the losers' table, who have no one else but each other. When Eli is at his most sensitive and fragile, you can tell he feels comfortable being with Demetri by the genuine smile he has on his face as Demetri is joking with Miguel at the canteen table. Through his sarcasm, the mouthy kid acts as a catalyst to deviate the attention from Eli, speaking for him, reprimanding Johnny when he makes fun of his lip and trying to make him feel safe. Besides, you can see a certain degree of frustration in Demetri when Kyler and his gang are harassing Eli, and he's unable to do anything to defend him. And they even have a jingle for their friendship with a robot dance, I mean, how cute is that? But of course, a solid friendship between two helpless nerdy guys is not enough to spark a ship to be rooting for. In order for the magic to happen, another key ingredient is needed, i.e. a little bit of angst. Which brings us straight to the next point.

#2 - The Angst (aka the Hurt/Comfort Dynamic)

Even though I never liked the Twilight saga or any similar urban fantasy young adult works, I can easily see where the appeal comes from; the attraction to a charming, dangerous person who could either protect you from any harm or crush you like grape. Although with different franchises, I wasn't immune to the bad boy trope either (Yes, I'm looking at you, my teenage self drooling over Grimmjow from Bleach). If we can appreciate the genuine, brotherly friendship between nerdy Eli and Demetri, the shift that Eli makes as he transitions into Hawk and becomes more aggressive and dominant gives their relationship a totally different flavor. Attrition sparks a certain tension that, in the viewer's eyes, could either flow into a brawl or into passion.

During the mall fight, Demetri comes to the realization that his former best friend is actually someone who can crush him like grape. We see Hawk intentionally harming him for the first time, and Demetri's heartbreaking expression as he drops the line: "You'd actually hurt me?" And if that line gave us a pang in our hearts when we first watched Season 2, imagine rewatching it now that we know what happens in Season 3. Demetri is chased down the mall, running for his life, and then he's locked in a grip, as his best friend menacingly advances towards him. Demetri appears as the damsel in distress, however his friend is not the one who will fight to protect him, but rather his tormentor.

During the party at Moon's, Demetri manages to briefly go through Hawk's mask and reach out to Eli, thanks to a casual conversation about Dr Who. But then the beer incident happens, and Demetri defends himself with the only weapon he has – his loudmouth. The situation is reversed, and for a brief moment, he gets to be the dominant one as he discloses all Eli's most intimate secrets. Demetri is now actively contributing to the Hurt/Comfort dynamic; he's no longer just a target, but he's doing his part to enlarge that gaping hole that has formed between them. And Hawk didn't take it well.

From this moment on, Demetri becomes a sort of obsession to Hawk, who hunts him down the school, teasing him and taunting him sadistically, like a serial killer from a horror movie, during the big fight. Of course, in real life, this would be completely insane, and the police/a social assistant/psychiatrist should be called, but in ShipLand, these situations are pure gold. Okay, we get it, Hawk wants to get revenge for the humiliation at the party, and he wants to crush that nerd part of himself he sees in Demetri, but he does it with such an intensity that it borders on ridiculous. It's like this is his twisted way to acknowledge Demetri's presence. Eventually, Hawk ends up smashed into the trophy case, and I confess I felt a little disappointed when Demetri broke that hug to give Hawk a roundhouse kick. I mean, it was a great comeback, but I was sincerely hoping for a "No hard feelings man, let's get outta here!" scenario.

Getting back to the sick and twisted way Hawk acknowledges Demetri's presence, he destroys his science project after he got jealous due to him being confident in his nerd self and laughing around with his ex girlfriend (whom the writers insist he still has a crush on). Speaking of Moon, I have a feeling she likes Hawk mostly based on his badass appearance. Remember when she goes "I like this (mohawk) and I love these (muscles), but I'm not dating a bully"?

Then the football match happens. Okay, let's break this down. Demetri trips Hawk and acts all sassy, and a fellow Cobra Kai is immediately ready to take him down, but Hawk stops him. "Fight smart, he says". Too bad that literally 5 seconds earlier he had shoved a kid to the ground just because his ex girlfriend (again, duuuh~) ignored him when he winked at her. And then, as he's trying to intercept the ball, BANG, Hawk hits Demetri, sending him to the ground, pretending it was an accident. So, what does this tell us? That Hawk has some serious anger management issues? Yeah sure, but also that he cares about fighting smart only as long as it serves as an excuse to leave Demetri for him, because he's his designated target. Again, this is all but romantic, and it doesn't necessarily have to be interpreted as him lusting after his friend, but it's undeniable that this dynamic offers a lot of ship fuel.

The arm breaking thing is just too painful to even analyze. We see a completely helpless Demetri begging for mercy to his ex best friend, who has made No Mercy his life motto. And that scream, oh that scream. All I wanted to see was Hawk realizing what he had done and throwing himself on his knees while begging for forgiveness. But I'm glad that at least we get to see he feels awful for what he's done, and I like to think that, as he got home, Eli cried out all the tears he had in his body thinking about poor Demetri at the hospital, with a swollen broken arm, all because of him. Of all the situations, this is undoubtedly the most deranged and extreme, and if something like this happened in real life, the wrongdoer would deserve to be punished and would definitely need to be sent to therapy. But in ShipLand, this opens the road to many, many different scenarios, in which the bully understands his mistakes and shifts back to the good side, or the two share a tender moment after they reconcile, or the traumatized character has to to learn to trust the other one again, or the bully becomes overprotective of his former victim, etc.

#3 - A Rewarding Reconciliation

Finally, we come to the reconciliation, in which Hawk makes his heel-to-face turn. While we've seen him torn with doubt for an entire season about his sensei's teachings, his actions and the people he wants to surround himself with, the key factor that drives Hawk's redemption is the sight of his best friend being held down for him to beat. And with an epic stunt and his awesome KEEEH screech, Hawk jumps to the rescue of his friend. Like many of us, Demetri thought this was still part of the "Only I Can Torment Him" dynamic I discussed earlier, as he steps backwards a little concerned, but then he understands that action was actually meant to save him, and the two begin to fight side by side, in sync, watching each other's back. You can see Demetri's eyes sparkling at the thought of having his friend back.

Also, not only Demetri stands up to alpha bitch Tory in defense of Eli, but he also speaks for his friend when he's faltering, just like he used to. So kudos for Demetri.

#4 - The Red Oni, Blue Oni Dynamic

Binary Brothers are two sides of the same coin and complete each other with opposite character traits, visually expressed by the color red and the color blue. Being the color red typically associated with violence, rage, passion and irrationality, as opposed to blue, which is associated with calmness, melancholy and rationality, red is clearly the dominant color. Again, this opens many interesting scenarios for shippers.

#5 - Body Language

Besides the situations I described above, which may or may not be read from a romantic/attraction standpoint, there are also a collection of small gestures I noticed when rewatching the series with a more attentive look on their relationship.

- Demetri's heart-broken expression when Eli shamefully covers his lip during the anti-bullying announcement.

- The smile Demetri gives when Hawk responds "Hell yeah!" after Aisha proposes to crash Yasmin's party, implying he's learning to embrace this new wild side of his best friend

- The astonished look with which Demetri watches Hawk at the tournament and the way he's pissed no one knows his real name.

- How deeply hurt Demetri is when Hawk belittles him by saying: "Five against three. More like two and a half." He even tries to reply, but he's caught so off guard that words die in his throat.

- How Demetri takes a step towards Hawk during the mall fight, before Sam makes him back off, and how sadly he looks at Hawk's nearly unconscious body after Robby defeated him.

- How Demetri smiles and nods when he briefly connects with Eli at Moon's party, despite the mall incident.

- How Hawk watches Demetri juggle with the cleaning product from behind his bike helmet (how did he stuff the mohawk in there by the way)?

- Hawk's psychotic/sadistic faces when he smells Demetri's blood, and how he likes to hunt him down like he's his prey.

- Hawk's secret impulse to comfort Demetri after the arm breaking (I hope you get nightmares of Demetri's howl of pain for the rest of your life, Hawk).

- The way Hawk twitches his upper lip when he sees his friend Demetri in danger.

- How Hawk and Demetri are so absorbed in their new-found friendship, that they're caught off guard, and Demetri swings Hawk to allow him to deliver a kick using their handshake as a lever. And how they keep fighting together, shaking each other's hands even when they're out of focus and the attention is on Miguel vs. Kyler.

- How they're standing so close at Miyagi Do, in comparison with the other Red/Blue partners.

In conclusion, this kind of relationships are engaging and entertaining to watch, and they make us wish the best for the characters. They make us hope that, in the end, as Miguel puts it, love really conquers all (and what is friendship if not a form of love?), despite all the hurt they did to each other.

People ask me, why I ship John and Sherlock. I simply replied, "Their chemistry show it." But I don't give them the long answer, of course their chemistry is part of the answer. 1) Mrs. Hudson and Angelo (Let start with Angelo) When John and Sherlock arrive at Angelo's restaurant, waiting for the serial killer cabbie driver to stop at the restaurant. He immediately thought John was Sherlock date, adding a candle to make it more romantic for the two. Obviously we know that Sherlock helped cleared out Angelo name so they knew each other for a couple years. So why did Angelo immediately concludes that Sherlock was dating John? He could thought that he finally made a friend and they were just hanging out in the restaurant, well my guess is that Angelo knew what's Sherlock dating type by the way he is but not only that Sherlock didn't correct Angelo confusion on the "date", he simply ignored it and continue his day. We all know throughout the episodes and seasons, he does tends to correct someone when they are wrong like when people confuse him for a psychopath, he immediately corrects them. (Now on to our lovely Mrs. Hudson) Mrs. Hudson been Sherlock landlady before John moved in, Sherlock grew fond to Mrs. Hudson. He love her with all his heart, he will legit hurt anyone who mess with his landlady. She too thought John was Sherlock boyfriend even if John tells her that he not gay but Mrs. Hudson has her reason. She knows how important John was to Sherlock, John didn't think Sherlock would care but he always be there by his side and of course he believes in Sherlock Holmes after all. Mrs. Hudson is like Sherlock second mom and as some people would say "Mother knows best." She obviously know what better for Sherlock, she try to cheer him up when he has no case's and seeing John bring joy to him and the opening his emotions which she knew he had. Mrs. Hudson knows John was a perfect fit for him. 2) The flat We seen the flat all the time so why does it matter when we talking about Sherlock and John? Well when John lived in the flat with Sherlock, the whole flat was a mess but it was organize and clean seem like Sherlock want to impressed John like he want John to stay but when John left to build his family with Mary, all hell broke lose. He whole flat was a completely mess, paper hanged everyone, paper on the floor, paper covering the wall. His kitchen became a lab or something, Billy was there for god sakes! His flat went through a completely make over after John left, mind you! This happened because of John, this happened because he left Sherlock to live with Mary. 3) Molly So wondering how Molly help and supports Johnlock? Well have you notice every man Molly date was gay that John had to stop Sherlock from say it to her so she ends up with gay men and she date them and then ends the relationship after a couple of months. Well as fans, we know Molly like Sherlock (hence the ship Sherlloy) but have you ever wonder that Sherlock might be her next gay victim if she can get him to date him. (Leaving y'all folks to your thoughts) 4) The eye sex and John licking his lip We seen this so many times with this two gentleman. They go into intense eyes contact and none looks the other way nor move, sometimes and we fans has caught it that John looks down at Sherlock lips then he lick his lips. To be honest, I don't think this was part of the script and the two actor just got lost in thier eyes while acting. Martin had lick his lips before in his other movies so it's probably a common thing he does but looking at someone else lip then licking their lip, it's something else if anyone did that to me, I will think they have interest in me. 4) Sherlock death and killing people (Let get to killing people first) Who the hell kill people to save another soul? Partners, friends (real friends, fakes friends already killed you), maybe family and maybe more. Sherlock killed Magnussen to save John (and Mary as well) but John? He killed the cabbie, Liang (Soo Lin Yao brother, I would say he save Sherlock from being choked to death but also his date from getting killed) and together (well not really together because this was all in Sherlock head but you know what I mean) they killed Moriarty. You might think "Ya, they did it because their friends and they care about each other." You ain't wrong, remember Sherlock consider John family so he meant so much to Sherlock. They killed/hurted people because of their love for each other and their friendship. (Now the most sadest shit that happened, The Reichenbach Fall. Where Sherlock yeet himself off a rooftop) Now this is very emotional to some fans to talk about, it's were John hears Sherlock voice one more time and it left him crying even Sherlock fucking Holmes was crying! It was so hard for him to leave John, he gave John hints that all of this was a fake but it was to emotional to face the facts behind it. John couldn't take a cab anymore, he couldn't stay any longer in 221B (not saying he hate it there), he couldn't move on for three years! (Well eventually he moved on) Because all those things; the cab, the flat, the cases. All those things brought good memory with Sherlock and yes he remember and will never forget it but he brought him to tears. He knew he had to move on like a soilder move on from the battlefield; the war, the blood, the deaths. All put that to the pass but the good memories, he kept it Lastly, I want to say this. The two characters can be straight ass fuck all they want but if they act gay around each other and someone tells me that they not supposes to be a pair then I will flip a table on you and leave you there because am done. How They Change: his typical demeanor is very meek. it always has been. he has always had a stutter and for many years could barely get a word out. he still has trouble meeting people’s eyes. but when the switch is flipped at the right time, he lights on fire and will show true anger, which he typically does not.

AU Thursday: Lovecraft Jazz, Meet Deadly Premonition

All right -- I brought this up twice last week, both in a regular AU Thursday post and as part of a discussion of Hope's role in the Lovecraft Jazz AU (Hope, for those not in the know, is the Queen Wins!Victor's Pomeranian. He first appeared in an ask on my first Secundus!Victor RP account (I'd started Queen Wins as a separate universe there) as the Annoying Dog from Undertale, crashing through the window of Richard's shop; QW!Victor promptly adopted the pup, and he's stuck around doing weird things in anon asks ever since. I made him a Pom when I recreated the Valice pets in Sims 4 since that seemed to best mimic what the Annoying Dog looked like), so let's have some expansion on this crossover idea already.

First, for context: Deadly Premonition is a video game where you play as FBI agent Francis York Morgan (call him York, that's what everyone calls him), who goes to small town Greenvale to investigate the murder of a young waitress, and how it ties into some other murders he's been investigating, all linked by red seeds. Simple enough premise, right?

Trust me, this game is so much more. It's a flawed classic along the lines of Vampire: the Masquerade -- Bloodlines -- the game itself is janky and glitchy as all hell, but the story and characters are absolutely fantastic. My main LPer Helloween4545 did a LP of it recently, and you can watch it here if you want the experience without having to fight with the controls/deal with the game crashing on you. If you like the show Twin Peaks, or just really quirky and dramatic stuff with super inappropriate music at times, you'll probably enjoy it!

As for the crossover -- well, basically, beyond shifting the time period to the late 1920s, I'd be using my gang to fix some of the more depressing parts of the narrative. The details are going under a cut, because MAJOR SPOILERS. Seriously, huge ones. Tweaked for the time period a bit, but still. Read on only if you don't mind that. (Or watch the LP and save this post for later.)

-->The group first meets York as part of the Innsmouth mess -- he's one of the BoI agents investigating the "smuggling operation" going on there. They get along pretty well, since York is considered kind of a weirdo by his other agents, and he's the only one not particularly phased by Siren. (He's a little surprised, but gets over it quickly.)

-->Later on, while exploring the Dreamlands, Alice stumbles across one of York's dreams and says hello. York tells her he's on his way to Greenvale to investigate the murder of a young girl named Anna Graham -- Alice, upon realizing Greenvale isn't too far from where they are currently, says they'll meet up with him there and they can do a bit of reconnecting when he isn't busy with his case.

-->And then the group gets pulled into said case, thanks to a few key events:

A) Emily meeting the local policewoman, Emily Wyatt, and the two bonding a bit over having the same first name

B) Victor meeting Forrest Kaysen, and his dog Willie hating Victor's dog Hope on sight -- the feeling is mutual, and the two men just barely avoid a dog fight. Victor is baffled, as Hope seemed to like everybody before now

C) Lizzie visiting the club of Carol Maclaine, the sister of local policeman Thomas, and stumbling upon the weird sex dungeon downstairs -- and then being hidden in a closet by Thomas (dressed in a wig and red dress) before she can escape, letting her see that Thomas and the local sheriff, George Woodman, have kind of a -- fucked-up sexual relationship. Thomas apologizes after George leaves, and Lizzie, feeling really bad for him, says he can talk if he needs to and that "Thomas, just remember -- you really CAN do better"

D) Victor starting to have strange dreams of following Hope through a bright white forest -- and then, suddenly, coming across the murder victim! Anna tells him she's become a Goddess of the Forest and to pass along to her mother that she's okay now and she's sorry for getting involved with George.

-->That, plus a little more encouragement on Lizzie's part, gets Thomas to confess the truth -- GEORGE killed Anna as the first part of a ritual to make him into a "god," inspired by the legend of an old serial killer in the town, The Red Cape Killer. He also says local girl Becky was part of their little group and she's likely to be the next victim -- there's a race to her house, and they manage to catch George in the act of cutting her open. Some hasty field medicine from Bonejangles keeps her alive long enough to get her to the local hospital, and George is taken into custody.

-->However, while everyone's relieved that they've caught the killer, York isn't so sure his case is over. He reveals that the reason he's in Greenvale is because Anna's death is only the latest in dozens of murders he's investigating, all linked by the same strange upside-down symbol and red seeds. While he's willing to accept George committed the Greenvale murder, there's obviously more to this story. The gang do some digging, and eventually get help from Harry Stewart, the richest and most powerful man in town, who informs them of a dark incident in the town's past where someone covered Greenvale in a sinister purple fog that drove the local inhabitants to attack and kill each other. The Red Cape Killer was one of the affected (Harry's own father, in fact), and simply the most successful. The incident was buried in town memory, and the Red Cape Killer lived on as an urban legend.

-->While all this is going on, they also learn more about York's friend Zach -- a mysterious invisible figure who apparently came to York shortly after York's father murdered his mother, then himself. Alice wonders if Zach is like her Wonderland friends and offers to help him traverse the Dreamlands if he wants to get out more -- this leads to a rather interesting situation where they end up in one of Thomas's dreams, and Zach proves that, while York's into Emily W, he quite likes Thomas. Thomas, still a little raw from the situation with George, is thrilled by this turn of events, even if he's not sure how the heck any relationship between them would work.

-->And then Kaysen tries to kidnap the two Emilys, Victoria, Alice, and Lizzie. They manage to fight him off (though poor Emily W gets a mouthful of red seeds in the process and has to be taken to the hospital). Turns out he's the one behind the red seed killings, murdering innocent women by literally planting trees in them -- all for fun too! He's also the one behind the purple fog incident -- oh, and turns out he's the one who actually killed York's, or rather Zach's, mother, and his father killed himself out of grief. Yes, Zach is actually the original owner of the body, and York the Dreamland presence who came along to help him. Everyone's rather stunned by this revelation, as you might expect.

-->Oh, also, Kaysen's not human. He's in fact a minor eldritch creature from the Red Forest, an evil realm in the Dreamlands. Willie is his partner and handler, relaying orders from the Red Tree that "rules" the forest. When they're confronted, they warp into more horrific forms -- in Willie's case, a demonic Doberman-like creature.

And then Hope becomes a frigging wolf.

Yup, turns out in this world, Hope is a representative of the White Forest, the good counterpart to the Red Forest (and the place Victor's been ending up in his dreams lately) -- and he is eager to kick Willie's ass. Zach takes care of Kaysen while Hope defeats Willie, with some help from the other members of the group.

-->Afterwards, Hope brings everyone to the White Forest, where they receive some information on how to cleanse the town of the Red Tree's taint -- and, ideally, as a boon, Zach and York each get their own body so they don't have to work out some sort of weird timeshare arrangement for their respective relationships.

-->York reunites with Emily W, Zach and Thomas get together, and the group helps the townsfolk clean the soil and uproot every red tree they can find before planting some white trees in their place and taking their leave to help the next unfortunate place beseiged by abominations.

-->Basically, the whole point of this is to stop every main character besides Zach dying (although I guess York doesn't so much die as ascend to the same plane as the Goddesses), and to get my police boyfriends because damn it I shipped Thomas and York so freaking hard before the revelation that Thomas had been so broken by the murders and George's abuse he was willing to kill Emily W.

...Anybody else find it weird I'm resorting to a Lovecraft-inspired universe to get happy endings?

OH MY GOD ILYSM RIGHT NOW ASDFGHJKL….*TURNS INTO A TITAN*

AHEM…ANYWAY….

Whoo boi, prepare for a long one…

• When or if I started shipping it:

I was searching for some Youtube videos shortly after watching the first few episodes of Snk, as I usually do when I show interest in a series. Eventually, I stumbled upon that fateful video of Levi beating Eren up in court. Being the nosy person that I was, I scrolled through the comments and was a little surprised to find out that people shipped them because I wasn’t aware at the time that Levi was saving Eren from getting his ass killed. Then, I saw that scene where they were sitting at the table in ep 24 and I was still skeptical because damn, Levi sounded older than he looked. But then, I saw this thumbnail:

Look at that. LOOK AT THAT. IS THAT BEAUTIFUL OR WHAT!!??? The desire in Eren’s eyes…the tenderness in which he cups Levi’s face…That picture got to me. It got to me so hard all my doubts faded away, and at that moment, I was screwed. Before I knew it, I finished the first season of the anime, read fanfics and metas, gawked at the number of official art they were in together, ignored the antis, and you know the rest :)

• My thoughts: 

It scares me a bit how strongly I feel about Ereri. I don’t think another ship will ever ignite such tremendous joy in me more than these two. I’ve gained more ships during the years, but none of them repeated the same excitement I felt for the two imperfectly beautiful monsters that stole my heart. For me, Ereri is the kind of romance you wouldn’t see coming, the kind that starts out with uncertainty and rough edges but eventually falls into something natural and beautiful as it grows. And yes, I ship it in canon. No amount of hate is ever gonna derive me of that.  

• What makes me happy about them: 

I’m happy that there are a lot of quality content in art and fanfics in the fandom despite Eren and Levi’s limited interaction in canon (AUs are the best). I’m also happy that the shippers are willing to protect and stand up for each other amidst the spamming and the hating and whatnot. I’m at least glad that the ship isn’t based on fear and abuse because of the way Levi looks after Eren (please read the manga), and how Eren still respects Levi even after knowing who he really is as a person and not as Humanity’s Strongest. I mean come on, what kind of “abuser” gives his “victim” pep talks and half-assed poop jokes just to make him feel better?

• What makes me sad about them:

 I’m sad that Ereri is hated as much as it is loved and that most fans overlook their actual and more meaningful dynamic because of works that portray their relationship poorly and how they think the ship only revolves around sex or bdsm or whatever. I’m also sad to see that there’s not much going on in the Ereri tag other than reposted art and more crosstagging from the antis (shoutout to @dinklebert and @aurieackerman for bringing life to the tag though). The thing that upsets me most is how other ships are pitted against Ereri in such a hateful fashion.

• Things done in art/fic that annoys me: 

Gee…I usually suck up to anything but let’s see:

- Erwin (or any other character) being used as a plot device for a love triangle 

- “Shitty brat” (or Levi being more of an asshole than he usually is in the series smh)

- Eren being written as a fragile shrinking violet like seriously, the kid is NOT a shoujo moe character. He’s a serial killer-in-training. (credits to @accidentalyandere )

- Grisha’s A+ parenting

- Eren and Levi instantly doing the do without any development whatsoever.

• Things I look for in art/fic:

CANONVERSE! CANONVERSE! CANONVERSE! THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH CANONVERSE ERERI IN MY LIFE. Can’t I just get these two badasses fighting side by side, drinking tea, dashing through the woods with their 3dmg, riding on horses into the sunset, sparring incessantly to the point where a crowd gathers to watch their incredible skills, treating each other’s injuries, having loads of desperate, loving sex, Levi doting on Eren, Eren doting on Levi…just…canonverse gives me life okay? Also a sucker for slow build….

• Who I’d be comfortable with them ending up with, if not each other: 

For Eren, I’d be happy with him being with either Armin, Jean, Mikasa, or Historia. He deserves an ocean full of love regardless of who he ends up with. For Levi, I’d want him to be with Hange, because they’ve been through so much together and they’re the only one Levi has (Well, if we’re talking veterans here) 

• My happily ever after for them: 

As sad as it makes me to say it won’t happen, I just want them to settle down in this nice, little cottage and live a happy, domestic life together hunting for game and looking after orphans. Or maybe stand on top of Wall Maria as they look over the world like in the Lion King or some shit. That would be good too.

• What is their favorite non-sexual activity?

I’d like to imagine Levi and Eren challenging each other over practically anything on a regular basis, like who makes the best tea, or who cleans the quickest, or who handles the 3dmg like a beast (Levi would no doubt roll his eyes at this). Oh, and cuddling. Cuddling is good.

Benkaru au

Post inspired by a incorrect star trek quotes post. This will break your feels and meticulously attempt at putting them back together but may as well break them even further. This is my first Benkaru au post that focuses on Ben and Sulu with Chulu in it. It was supposed to be light hearted and romantic but the other aspect to it seemed problematic. And this is what happened.

Imagine Hikaru Sulu visits the aquarium every day with his best friend and partner Pavel Chekov and their little girl Demora Sulu who is four years old. It’s named after the original owner of the aquarium. It's over two centuries old. The Benjamin Pak Aquarium. One day there's a party held for the anniversary. Hikaru bumps into a tall man at the party while a friend of theirs babysits Demora. Think McCoy. Hikaru gets to know the man as Ben. Hikaru flirts with Ben, "So, are you from heaven?" And Pavel says, "Yes, he's a ghost. He died a hundred and fifteen years ago like that pick-up line." And Ben smiles back, "You are right." Hikaru is making heart eyes at Ben. Ben claims he is abstaining from drinking and that he is saving his appetite for when he gets home. Pavel goes over to a passerby asking if they know about the new species of fish discovered that can survive in space and some that came from Russia. Ben and Hikaru watch the fish together. Ben admits that he is usually ignored Hikaru is appalled that people ignore him. He offers to take Ben to the beach and not talk. If he does not prefer talking or being in his personal space. Ben is delighted. They stride by a beach together talking about the ocean then about the plant life. And as it turns out, they are both interested in botany. One hour later, Pavel comes out  and comes down to the beach where Hikaru is sitting on the sand apparently alone. Pavel helps his husband up inquiring how the new acquaintance was. Hikaru is startled because he was just right there. And he couldn't have left that easily. It troubles him. Pavel mentions that some of the party goers did the ghost trick on him, again. The pair go into their hover-car then head home while Pavel talks about the recently unvield fish that was designed to look like  a Remoraid that was also given the gene to evolve into a rather unusual octopus. It is there for purposes of studying until they can move it to a new marine environment on Regis Seven. Hikaru finds himself thinking about Ben more often than he should. Hikaru works as a florist. Pavel works as a security officer at the Enterprise Bank that is managed by  James T. Kirk. Mr Spock and Leonard McCoy are regulars to drop on by. Star Fleet still exists and there are ships that still go exploring in space.

After Kindergarten class ends, Demora tugs Hikaru back to the aquarium to stare at all the delicate, adorable, unique, some old, some new fish. Demora has her face against the window with her small hands making a mark. Hikaru waits for Ben to drop by and start engaging in a conversation with him. Hikaru misses the man he just met. Hikaru leaves the aquarium with Demora who wants to talk with the tall Asian man in the aqarium because that's plain crazy. He didn't see anyone in there! Hikaru talks to Pavel about this and he is wide eyed at it. They go to a psychiatrist, Elizabeth Dehner, regarding this. Dehner is troubled but she cannot for the life of her explain away their daughter's pointers. Dehner makes some suggestions that could be the answer but they refuse to believe it because it would mean they are bad parents or that their daughter is 'special' in a way that means she may have a life changing disability. Hikaru allows Pavel to cry into his chest after they get home. Demora is drawing pictures. She is blissfully unaware of what is upsetting her parents but it does concern her.

Demora talks with her friends about this friend she met at the aquarium whose been hiding back and the response is encouraging. She waits for the perfect moment when her father is distracted to lure  the man out a few weeks later when Ben is outside of the aquarium tank. Demora talks to the semi-transparent Ben and tells him her name. He tells her about the fish and their personalities despite having none what so ever. He tells her wild stories about the fish and their adventures in a place called Bikini Bottom. Demora tells Ben where Hikaru works and wants him to be friends with Hikaru. Ben would love it. Hikaru eventually finds her sitting on a bench laughing alongside the catfish tank.  Hikaru embraces  her informing the little girl never ever to do that again. She informs him that she was talking to Ben. Hikaru calms down and asks where she saw him. She looks around then says, "He was just here." She is excited to meet him again.  Hikaru leaves the aquarium with his daughter in tow for a slumber party with her little friends. Hikaru is relatively assured that his daughter won't run out of sight again from these trusted parental people. They moved here earlier so the change of moving from Florida to San Fransisco has to be doing good for her, right? Pavel listens to Hikaru's worries via communicator while at work himself taking care of the plants. He lowers the communicator and tells Pavel that they will continue this conversation later. He closes it then looks up to see Ben. His heart almost leaps at the sight of the man and the first thing he says is, "You look gorgeous."  and blushing like mad. Ben asks about the plants and how unique they are. Ben gets to see the plants that Hikaru has been growing. Ben learns they are not exclusive  and are quite open to more partners. Ben notices  a plant is dying and tells him about it. Hikaru coos at the plant while watering it and apologizing to it and it is just so cute to Ben. Ben admits his favorite plant is the violet because they are so unique.

Hikaru and Ben talk for an hour until the man has to leave. Working hours end two hours later. Demora goes to the aquarium but with Hikaru watching her every move because you can't leave Sulu without getting repercussions. They see the Remoraid has become accepted in the marine life. They leave. They get home to find Pavel has cooked dinner for them since he came home early. Hikaru kisses the man's cheeks and tells him how his day went. Pavel is thrilled to hear that someone new has obviously attracted his husband's attention. That night, Hikaru talks in great detail about Ben. Pavel is getting a pretty good picture of him. And he learns how often he ghosts his husband. He ghosted his way out of the store. Pavel is bothered by this. Pavel, when Hikaru is asleep, does research about the man named Ben. He looks him up. There is nothing. No results. Pavel takes a sick day the following morning then goes to the aquarium. He notices the photographs and then he is startled by Ben. Ben and Pavel get along nicely. Ben acknowledges the resemblance between him and the founder of the aquarium. Pavel agrees and requests that he stop ghosting his husband. Ben reveals, he can't. He is a ghost stuck in the land of the living. Pavel is appalled, one, that his husband fancies a ghost, second, he is being ghosted because this is a really damn ghost, and third, he is talking to a dead man. He is also correct on how long he has been dead which is a surprise for the  Russian. Pavel feels pity for Ben. And asks him about the way he died since the plague does not indicate so.

Ben explains that his death was  a bit of a mystery to him. Pavel gets determined to learn the way he died. Pavel does research, asking around, and digging in by going to the local cemetery to find the man's gravestone. Pavel cannot find any reason why, except, he finds one piece of evidence on a sticky note reading 'Possible serial killer victim' after going through channels to find the case that has largely been intact. Pavel learns the people who worked there via Ben. And says he will get some justice for him if he can or not. Pavel questions those who are still alive about that  night. Ben gets really mad when Pavel questions a old lady about his final hours. Apparently, it was his sister who had a bad case of iromudic syndrome and mistook him for son Edward. Pavel stands the tearjerking but horrible thing he has to do pretending to be her son. Pavel comes out with his eyes wet. He goeX home to find dinner made and Hikaru is happy, blissfully. Demora asks about Ben and apparently, Ben has been visiting the store. Pavel is  starting to realize where this relationship can go and it can't go any further. A relationship with a ghost? What if his husband wants to join him? He can't lose Hikaru. As much as he loves him and his daughter, he can't lose them. After dinner, Pavel reveals to Hikaru, painfully, that Ben has been dead since they first met. Hikaru doesn't want to believe this. Pavel explains he is investigating the death so Ben can pass on. Hikaru and Pavel don't sleep in the same bed that night. Pavel goes to work that morning after taking Demora to Kindergarten.

Pavel speaks with Spock on what to do with a situation where a ghost has enchanted his husband. Spock replies to cleanse whatever binds him or to stop visiting where the being resides, hypothetically, if the electromagnetic field readings are off the roof then there is indeed a ghost. Spock speaks a lot of hypothetical’s and Pavel eventually learns that  Spock is part of a ghost hunting task force orchestrated by Christopher Pike and  Number One. Spock goes in to deposit his pay. Pavel asks the passing doctor, McCoy,what kind of injuries can injure a ghost and "I am a doctor, not a ghost hunter!" and goes past him grumbling to himself where he continues this to Spock who patiently listens to it. Pavel has to convince the aquarium owner to cleanse the aquarium if he can't solve the case. His first priority is his family. Ben is helping Hikaru move the plants to the trucks for events the passing week. Pavel is getting frustrated because his husband is now head over heels and refuses to believe him that he is in love with a dead man. As much as he love to make their family grow with another man/woman, this man is dead! Pavel gets to the final lead, a Asian man named Kyle Lee who claims to have been Ben's ex-lover. Ben was going to leave him because of certain circumstance that didn't leave them to be together for the rest of their lives. Like say, being on the run. Kyle has paid his debt to society and claims it was an accident. Kyle cannot see Ben leaned against the doorway or hear him say, "You are still repaying society by being a musician mentor instead of being a pro and showing off your gift." Pavel has to tell him that Ben is quite alive, technically, and he needs to come to the aquarium for one last time. Kyle admits it has bee over a hundred fifty years since hew had been there. Kyle is taken with help by Pavel and Kyle's descendant on Pavel's free time.

Hikaru is visiting with Demora and her little friends. Kyle comes by Hikaru's side and asks how it is feeling in love with someone he wants to spend the rest of his natural life wth. Hikaru explains how it feels to be around Ben. Kyle finishes it off for him describing every little detail of how it feels. He goes deeper by informing him what he would have done in his shoes if he were his age with that man. He informs that man was his ex-boyfriend. Kyle killed him by accident and dumped his body into the tank because it was in his will to be dumped in there with no questions asked. Ben rather have been eaten by catfish than have been cremated. Kyle tells him how it feels, how every day feels to him, about doing what he did. And how he regrets causing his untimely demise. And that it wasn't supposed to be this way. He explains covering up the murder was his worst mistake. He explains that Ben loves him and if he loves him, he wouldn't purseue this relationship even further. Because the way he died was traumatic and he is never going to leave this place for twenty-four-hours or less. Hikaru is visibly hurt and leaves the aquarium. Pavel can feel his marriage tearing apart. He goes after Hikaru leaving Demora with Kyle. Pavel goes after Hikaru only to find that the man has vanished seemingly into thin air. Pavel is distressed. He has some friends look for Hikaru. Pavel returns home with  Demora and waits several hours to file a missing persons report. Pavel is visited by Ben at work. What he did didn't work. Pavel demands that Ben leave catching the attention of several usuals. Pavel is terrifed that he may have convinced his husband to go off himself in some cruel manner. Ben pleads that it was never the case and he cares about him as much as Pavel does.  He doesn't want to tear the family apart and he only came here to apologize. Pavel won't accept the apology until his husband comes home and he breaks down. Scotty comes over and comforts the poor Russian with McCoy.  

Pavel's shift is quickly turned over to another security officer and allows Pavel to cry because his husband. It's his husband he is concerned about.  He feels like their friendship has just fallen apart. He also feels a hole in his heart and a lot of dread like someone close to him had died. Jim decides to pick up Demora that night for Pavel while McCoy and Scotty comfort him. Christine Chapel is calling every hospital and morgue in case their friend is there. Nyota translates for her when aliens who don't speak English and just got the job answer. Christine is amused of this, needless to say. Jim uses his connections to get a search out for him. It turns out there attempts were for nothing when his body is discovered alongside the road, abandoned, with skid marks. Pavel is inconsolable and screaming in grief. Demora stays at her grandparent's house while the crew sticks to Pavel and do their best to help him go through the grief. ��Apparently, he was heading back to the house when someone hit and struck him. He was five miles away.  Demora goes back to the aquarium this time with Scotty and Keenser, while McCoy is with Pavel, with Joanna alongside them. Demora and Joanna see Ben and Hikaru sitting on a bench relaxing together and happy. Demora goes after her daddy.  "DADDY!" Scotty turns his head in the nick of time to see Demora go over to them. "Dad misses you. When are you coming back?" And it breaks Scotty's heart. Demora talks to her daddy and is informed that she needs to take care of Pavel. “What about you?” “I am fine, De.” with Ben’s arm wrapped around his shoulder.  And it sets into stone that ghosts exist.

Pavel eventually decides to enlist into Star Fleet with little Demora as a security guard on a star base. The Yorktown sounds pretty fine. McCoy is helping Pavel get through the rough patch and helped him with the funeral preparations. When Pavel's done the grieving process, he doesn't feel like he can love anyone the same way again. Kyle apologizes once again and blames himself for it. Pavel has kept himself out of Kyle's presence for the entire year to prevent him from getting hurt. Pavel has accepted the loss and tells him that he doesn't need to apologize. The way it happened was an accident and his killer is never going to be caught unless he turned himself in because of a guilty conscience. Pavel figures out living arrangements while awaiting word from the academy. Demora is actually excited about this. Her dad gets to help save lives! That's just cool in her book.  Christine and Nyota follow suit to the academy because whose going to make sure this Russian doesn't get himself killed? The pain in his heart has lessened but Pavel appreciates every waking minute he has with his daughter even more. The Remoraid has evolved into a octileery and it makes a nice addition to the Ben Pak aquarium named, simply, Hikaru.

Hey, just a silly little (well...) post trying to list every single imagining character. (Imagining- basically fanficiton that I just image, don’t write). (And for those curious, no, none of these are relationship-based, they’re all of the ‘suddenly find yourself in the fictional world’ kind. Its an escapist fantasy that I relied on heavily to mentally survive being abused).

They’re all me, hence why I don’t list them as ‘OC’s’- they’re not. They aren’t all the same though- every universe changes them. And cause this is wish fulfillment fantasy- ya most of these guys are ridiculous.

Anyways, this list is long as hell so under the cut it goes!

X-men characters: Watcher (nightcrawler rip-off basically), Shadow (yep, this is where she started! Bit like Raven from TT meet Nightcrawler here), Electric Storm (can change into electricity, electric powers)

Avatar: The Last Airbender (Toph copy, only traded strength with earth for precision with metal) (Firebender) 

Dragonfable: Scarletfire (fire mage), Shadow (next step)(more like current version but changed a lot)

Dragonrider of Pern: (forget name; a blue dragonrider who pretended to be male cause f*** that universe; uncanny telepathy ability)

Rise of the Guardians: Guardian of Innocence (exactly as it says on the tin), Summer Wind (guardian of laughter (yes I know that’s kinda Jack’s power, she was more of an embodiment of summer than anything)), Mother Goose (4th wall writer, Guardian of Creativity)

4th Wall Writer (essentially the stories I write are real in another verse, so I’m more recording it from beyond the 4th wall) 

Suicide Ghost/Demon (Coraline)(commits suicide and in exchange for not going to Hell (yet) has to do the devil’s dirty work- but tries to loophole abuse it to get a good ending for the victims)

Vampire- various ones; usually dealing with trying to not be damned for it

Various possessed/half-demon stories (ditto on the ‘not go to Hell’ thing while also trying to use powers for good)

Various ones where my family abandons me/kicks me out and I figure out how to live- either becoming a writer (and doing odd jobs), living in the woods, or the one below.

Various fics where I’d kill my family and become a serial killer (Harlequin’s origin)(I take a perverse pleasure out of imagining killing people...) 

MANY various ones based around acquiring a specific power in our world: iceperson, ghost, flying, ice-control, intangibility, invisibility, fire-powers, technopath, telepath, telekinesis, talking to animals, transforming into animals, becoming some kind of empty shell, becoming a living skeleton, Zeref-style field-of-death powers, healing, reset-to-prevent-death.

Various injury fics (what if I went blind, mute, lost my arms, paralyzed, etc. Sometimes with  trade-off superpower- usually not- sometimes just dealing with it)

Various different career ones (singer, programmer, writer, animator, let’s player, professor, debater, running a home for runaways) 

Various real-life little issues- dealing with an upcoming class, event, etc. 

And a bunch of one-shot characters from pretty much anything; but since they only lasted a day or so I don’t remember them. Changes are, if I’ve read/watched/played it, there’s a one-shot character in there somewhere.

Okay, if you made it this far and are curious why I do these...

Basically, because I can’t talk to people, I would image myself in many different situations to figure out what to do. 90% of all of these is just talking- about my flaws, this or that difficulty, social situation, etc.

A lot of it also is me exploring different experiences I would never have. What if a friend died? Betrayed me? What if I really messed up, and got someone killed? Forced them away? What if people depended on me- and I failed?

You get the idea. The imagining normally focused on some real-world issue I was having at the moment, and let me explore how to handle them safely. The only reason these took place in fictional worlds is because they had pre-made characters I could talk to, situations I could deal with, etc. Plus, when not worrying about RL I would just do fun stuff.
