"The Three Investigators" (Die drei ???) is basically a series of young adult mystery/crime novels that follows the adventures of three friends, Justus Jonas, Peter Shaw, and Bob Andrews, who form a detective agency called "The Three Investigators," or ( Die Drei ???).

The series has been around since the 60s and has been translated into a million different languages, but since the late nineties it’s been discontinued in the US, and has only been continued in Germany. (Lots of copyright lore behind that haha)

In Austria, Germany, Switzerland and probs Lichtenstein, the Audiobooks are super well known and for many German speaking children listening to them was a part of childhood/being a teen, so many of us harbor a sense of nostalgia towards it.

It’s a lovely fandom to be in, since it’s still ongoing and the voice actors are quite active on social media nowadays, but the community is small as heck on here tbh
