Eren, I hope I don't come off as intrusive but I've read your post about your family accepting your choice and being supportive and your dad being happy for you and I just wanted to say I'm so proud of you and I send you my best wishes! you’re not!! that’s very sweet of you to say!! i’m still nervous about it i guess for particular reasons, but i’m so happy i wrote that letter!! my mum said she feels happy that i felt i was able to be honest. i just hope they use the right terms and pronouns, or at least make a concerted effort. my dad was interested in the blood tests and hormones, and sounded reassured by what i said about the clinic. it was a very important moment and it means a lot to hear that from you!! i’m glad i wrote all my feelings in a letter, it seemed the right way to do it - i told my parents beforehand that something was important arriving for them and they should both read it. at least i feel i can breathe a little better now to do it in a way that’s comfortable for me.
