Nailey(Nate x hailey): you're ideal relationship dynamic is wacky hijinks in which shenanigans ensue. Yokai watch 3 is probably your favorite game, and you're likely a weeb.

Bucknaily(Buck x Nate x Hailey): you're ideal relationship dynamic is the three stooges. And 3 is definitely your favorite game.

Katie x kyubi: you ship this out of pity for Kyubi. This is a pity ship.

Most Manjimutt ships: jail.

Manjimutt x mermother: you either really like that one episode of the reboot, or your a couple of my friends who hate how the anime portrayed Manjimutt and want to give him something good.(you know who you are.)

Arachnius x toadel dude: i don't think there's anything I can say that hasn't already been said about you.

Robonyan x B3-NK1: you're either gay, a fujoshi, or you just respect they managed to have a robot cat get pegged on a shos that aired on DISNEY.

Days later, Yuto still felt like something was wrong…

Milo is safe in his arms so why does he feel like this..?

He stares down at the sleeping yokai in his arms and he begins playing with her hair to help himself relax.

His eyes widen slightly at the course texture of ‘Milo’s’ hair.

He reaches to shake her awake frantically then when he looks into her eyes, his own widen.

“You’re not Milo!!! Where is she??!!” He asks angrily as he jumps away from the imposter.

Before the fake can even respond, Yuto quickly grabs his katana and decapitates it, knowing that it’s a demon.

He watches the demon start disintegrating then he sprints out of the mansion and into the woods, frantically searching for his angel.

Milo is slipping in and out of consciousness as she lies limply on the forest floor.

“Angel!!” He calls out distantly as he runs around and Milo’s eyes light up.

“Y-Yuyu….?” She calls out weakly and Yuto barely hears Milo’s voice.

He gasps when he hears her and he runs around even more frantically.

“A-angel!! Where are you?!” He calls out then he hears her small and weak voice nearby.

“B-behind the tree……” She responds before passing out and he quickly looks behind the nearest tree and tears fill his eyes when he sees his angel..

He picks her up very gently and holds her close. “Y-you’re going to be okay angel… I-I promise…” He whispers to her shakily.

He holds her gently and carefully as he runs to the butterfly mansion as quickly as he can.

When he gets her to Shinobu, the hashira looks confused.

“I-I’ll explain later!” He exclaims then Shinobu takes Milo and goes to take care of her injuries.

Yuto hadn’t even taken a moment to take in the sight of his angel yet.

She’s very thin from going days without eating, she’s very injured and steadily healing herself.

Yuto paces around in front of Milo’s room anxiously as he waits for Shinobu to tell him that he can see her.

He stops in his tracks when Shinobu opens the door. “You can go i-” Yuto cuts her off with a thank you and a bow then runs in and gently takes Milo’s hand in his as he starts crying more.

He stares at her calm expression and watches the steady rising and falling of her chest.

He gets into the bed with her and gently hugs her close so he can feel the steady rhythm of her heart beating against his chest.

“I-I’m so sorry angel….” Yuto whispers through his tears and he very gently squeezes her.

She doesn’t wake up until a few weeks later and when Yuto sees her eyes flutter open he starts crying again and hugs her and holds her close.

“I-I’m so sorry I took so long to get you back, angel..!!” He cries out and buries his face in her shoulder.

Milo starts crying and clings onto him tightly.

“Shh i-it’s okay angel… y-you’re safe now…” He whispers and gently kisses her forehead and cups her face in his hands before gently wiping her tears away with his thumbs.

Milo continues to tightly cling onto Yuto as they’re comforted by being in each other’s embrace.

Was anyone else disappointed when they cut out some of fuu2 and yuto’s section from the spanish dub?

I know they had to cut it cause it is a show for children but the section was supposed to show how yuto could still aspire to be a manga artist and fuu2 was supposed to show that he cared for his friends mental health. Then again that’s just my thoughts.

Seven episodes in out of the nine that I found subbed and. I'm not. Really sure how the whole Yokai Hero system works??? Like most eps end with the onryo (I think that's what they're calling them now? ...why is it called Yokai power then smh) seemingly at peace and moving on but all that happens is that they're absorbed in the watch thing and medals pop out. Sometimes one, sometimes three, sometimes FIVE from the same Yokai? I'm not really sure what makes a Yokai give out the medal to make a hero form and ultimate attacks (that's what the extra medals do. Maybe? The last two eps I watched the protag pull new stuff from the same Yokai and I get the feeling they're just pulling stuff out if their ass only to never use it again) cuz Jibanyan only ever uses the first one he got and all the medals go to him despite his friends also having watches and fighting beside him.

BUT ANYWAYS someone PLEASE teach level5 what hard magic systems are??? If characters are using powers to resolve problems there need to be clearly defined rules and limits!!! smh I'm getting a headache. (Also irrelevant but imagine if Nate got five medals from each Yokai he befriended lol he'd need fifteen more medalliums)

Anyways yeah the tldr is that magic system and consistent yokai visibility was a problem even in the original series, but given that now they're determined to make their protags "special" and use powers to solve problems and muddied the whole thing it's so much more awful. And I wish they'd kicked the toilet humor out but ofc it has to be there. And the awful attempts to portray middle school romantic overtures. Just. Just stop. They honestly have no idea how to write crushes this is pathetic to watch

Also edgy McEdge emo hair rival didn't appear for more than a minute and I said "what an edgelord, bet he has the typical tragic backstory of Lost Whole Family To Bad Guys™ (in this case aliens) and not much later I saw a spoiler and can I just say CALLED IT

I'd throw down for Jinpei though, he's nothing like Jibanyan but he's actually enjoyable to watch! Instead of being awful while the narrative pretends he did nothing wrong (cough Natsume cough) he's actually a genuinely nice little weirdo and I love him. He acts more like a puppy than a cat though XD Meanwhile, onion head is still a bore

Honestly? I'd be able to overlook y academy's flaws and have fun with it if level 5 had kept its dumb fucking "aliens murdered everyone in their past lifes" plot twist out of it and made it full AU, but alas. So far it's much better than Shadowside, but tbf that's not saying much

You said your English name for Yuto from the second movie is Clay, right? I'm curious if there is any particular reason why :) (the 19th this month makes the 5th anniversary since the release of the 2nd movie! It only seemed appropriate to ask something about it :D)

Yeah, uh... Yokai Watch is terrible when it comes to keeping consistent. Like, hell... It’s not great, especially if you’re moving on into action, it just gets confusing.

The edgelord backstory being generically easy to answer? Who saw that that coming? Also, yeah it would’ve been better to be an AU much like Blasters, but I guess you can’t have that.

Also as for the name of Clay? Heehee, wouldn’t you like to know (we say in distain, frankly) : )

P-P-P-Power Rankings!!

Shinkalion (Last: 1): THEY WENT TO KYUSHU TO VISIT THE NEW BASE AND TSUBAME'S PILOT WAS TOTALLY PSYCHED TO MEET HIS SENPAIS. THEY FOUGHT A ROCKET MONSTER BUT LUCKILY THE NEW SHINKALION CAN FLY, TERRIFYING HAYATO BECAUSE IT'S HIGH AND HE MIGHT FALL.

Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory (Last: 4): Nami was brutally murdered by Kurama, so Sousuke fought a one-man war against Namsac's police to reach him. Although he was shot in the stomach, he gunned down Kurama and extracted some vital information.

Record of Grancrest War (Last: 2): The Pope attempted to stop the Imperial Army's progress but Priscilla sacrificed herself to demonstrate that she was the true Holy Grail, taking the Pope out of the war and granting Theo more power and prestige.

Golden Kamuy (Last: 5): Henmi was outed as the serial murderer and a short duel with Sugimoto ended with him almost getting eaten by an orca. It happens. Meanwhile, Tanigaki encountered troops from the anti-Tsurumi faction and both began hunting each other.

Kamen Rider Build (Last: 3): Evolt made his power play against Namba, so Seito strengthened its Kaisers and asked Touto for help. All were overwhelmed. Katsuragi struggled mightily when faced with the long-term consequences of his actions.

GeGeGe no Kitaro (Last: 8): The 808 Tanuki who once ruled Shikoku were revived and schemed to conquer Japan with the aid of a yokai beast that owned the JSDF. Kitaro attempted to destroy the source of their power and a curse turned him into stone.

Yowamushi Pedal: Glory Line (Last: 6): Both Midosuji and Yuto got additional backstory as they chased down Imaizumi, traveling maybe 50 meters this week? There was much angst featuring dead mothers and being compared to successful older brothers.

Lupin III Part V (Last: NR): After extracting the location of Jose and his goons, Lupin and Albert stormed the base. Trading barbs with each other and gunfire with the terrorists, Lupin eventually reclaimed the black book and returned it to its owner.
