YONGHEE :: magical kingdoms au :: fantasy, fluff
newbie medical practitioner!Yonghee x patient!reader/you
Sudden skin rashes don’t seem that daunting when the new boy at the medic shop is the shy and soft-spoken Yonghee who’s willing to help you whatever it takes.
You were frantic when you noticed a skin rash come on suddenly, accompanied by uncomfortable itching. You didn't know why it happened and what triggered it, and you didn’t know what to do about it since it had never happened before.
So after finishing for the day at the bakery, you headed to the medic shop where you usually go, run by a sister and brother duo for quite a few years now. Your mother knew their mother as they used to work together, so it went without saying that you used their services just like your parents did. You usually visited them when your parents needed some medicine, not for yourself, but this time, it was for you only.
You only needed to wait a bit, and as an elderly man came outside accompanied by a young man who helped him out, you were next. Instead of the young man leaving with him as you expected, he stayed by the threshold and looked at you.
Oh.
Oh.
He was gorgeous, simply gorgeous. He had soft features that were still slightly boyish, but his jaw was defined, and you could see his muscles stretch in the tunic he wore. He had jet-black eyes matching his midnight-black locks, and you couldn’t help but notice that there was a mole under his eye, like a single star on the dark canvas of the night.
You were so mesmerised by his beauty that you barely realised that he spoke up.
“Good afternoon! Please, come inside,” the unfamiliar young man beckoned you inside with a gentle smile, but your legs didn’t move. Despite your bewitched state, you wondered if you were even in the right place because you had never seen him here.
“Excuse me, but… are you working here? I haven’t seen you here before,” you explained tentatively. As far as you knew, only Hyunsuk and his sister had been working here, and you hadn’t heard about anyone taking over the shop.
“Oh yes, I’m new here. My name is Kim Yonghee. I work alongside Hyunsuk,” he replied softly, his lips stretching into a tender smile. His smile was so pretty, so reassuring that you forgot for a few seconds that you were supposed to say something.
“Oh… good then,” you blurted out, a tad bit awkward, before walking inside the shop. It indeed looked the same with a bed, two chairs and a table beside a fireplace that was currently out of use due to the warm spring weather. There were some bottles, bowls and medical equipment on the nearby shelves, but you knew that their storage room was behind the door to the right.
You sat down in one of the chairs and Yonghee followed, so you were face-to-face which didn’t help the crazy beating of your heart. You were usually not this affected by boys around you, but he looked at you so patiently, so gently, you had a hard time formulating coherent thoughts.
“How can I help you today?” Yonghee inquired after a few seconds of silence, bringing you back to reality.
Oh right, you were actually here for a reason. You almost forgot.
“I had this sudden rash out of nowhere,” you started as you pulled up the sleeve of your dress, showing him the constellation of tiny red dots on your left and right wrists. “I don’t know why they appeared, and I don’t know what to do about them. I’ve never had anything like this before.”
“Are they itchy?” Yonghee asked as he examined the area.
“Yes, very much so,” you bobbed your head, and answered a few more of his questions regarding the food you ate that day, any plants you had come in contact with, any new clothes you tried on and such. Nothing unusual came to your mind, but he jotted down everything you said in a hefty notebook, and you replied to the best of your knowledge. Afterwards, he started preparing some kind of a cream for you, mixing things in a bowl.
When he was done, he came back to you with a small bottle and applied the cream on the affected area, massaging it into your skin in gentle circles. His touch sent pleasant shivers down your spine, but you tried your best to listen to his explanation.
“I’ve made a cream for you with aloe vera and camomile. They are anti-fungal, antibacterial ingredients and help soothe the skin in case of inflammation. We’ll wait a few minutes to see how your skin reacts to the cream, but if it doesn’t trigger an unwanted reaction, I’ll give you this bottle and you can continue applying it on your skin throughout the day. The itching should go away within a few hours, and the rash within one to two days at the latest.”
You listened to him attentively, trying to remember everything that he said. He inquired if you had any questions for now, and you shook your head. You didn’t want to sit there in utter silence while you were waiting for the cream to take its effect, so you asked him how long he had been working here. He said that it had only been a few weeks, and he had replaced Hyunsuk’s sister who had gone on to work at the palace.
Hearing that, you were a tad bit surprised, but now that you thought about it, you did hear a rumour about someone from the village who had turned out to be a magical medic, and since there weren’t a lot of medic shops - it was only this shop and a newly opened one run by a young woman -, you should have known that it concerned Hyunsuk and his sister. Since you were magic-free as others in the village, it was sometimes easy to forget that people actually had magic running in their veins in the kingdom and in neighbouring kingdoms. Magical medics were an example; they could use their special abilities to heal others, so they were exclusively working at the palace.
You did talk a bit more about how Yonghee had been working at his parents’ farm before, and how you were a baker, and you enjoyed getting to know him a whole lot. Not to mention hearing his shy little giggles and watching him with a fond smile when he covered his mouth while laughing because he was so timid.
You almost forgot why you had been there in the first place, but then, Hyunsuk came out of the storage room and put some bottles on the nearby shelf. As if woken from a stupor, you and Yonghee changed back to medic and patient, discussing the next steps since your skin didn’t react negatively to the cream.
You were a bit sad to leave the medic shop because you were just getting to know the boy better, but you knew that you would see him again because your parents needed their medicine fairly frequently. It didn’t mean that you couldn’t smile at the boy so giddily as you bid your goodbye and held the bottle of the cream close to your chest, already reminiscing about his dreamy eyes and gentle smile.
The rash went away in two days, but a week later, it came back again. You still had some of the cream Yonghee had given you, so you put some on it before visiting the medic shop again.
At first, you thought that it would be silly of you to go back when you actually had more left from the medicine Yonghee gave you, and when you still didn’t know why it happened. Then again, you thought that it was worth a try, so you went back - hoping that you would be tended to by the boy with the mole under his eye and tenderness in his smile.
Your lips curled upwards immediately when it was Yonghee who opened the door and beckoned you inside. The medic reciprocated your smile, and advised you to sit on a chair just like last time while he was inquiring about the reason behind your visit.
Hence, you explained to him that the rash came back, and Yonghee made you go through your day up until the rashes appeared, taking notes in the meantime. Then, he flipped through some pages of the notebook you had already seen last time, hummed in contemplation, then looked up at you:
“You’ve said that you’re a baker, right?”
“Yes, that’s correct.”
“Last time, you mentioned that you made a lemon tart before noticing the rash, and today, you said the same. Do you often work with lemon or did you just start using it?” Yonghee asked as he tilted his head, waiting for your answer. You pondered a bit before replying because you did use lemon before - mostly in the batter for sponge cakes and muffins -, but you didn’t usually use lemon as decoration. However, now, the lemon tart had actual lemon slices on top, something that you did arrange with your own two hands instead of using gloves.
“Oh wow, that could be it!” You exclaimed, probably awfully excited for someone who had just been told that she might be allergic to lemon, but Yonghee just giggled at your reaction, and it made everything a whole lot more reassuring.
“I’m not saying you should experiment with touching lemons after this because you probably don’t want to, but I would advise you to use gloves when doing the decorations,” he suggested gently, and you wondered if he talked to everyone like that. He was sure to be good with kids and the elderly if he used that tone with everyone. When you listened to him speak, it felt like you could tell him everything, and he would do everything in his power to help you without being judgemental.
“Thank you so much. I will definitely follow your advice,” you promised with a wide smile, your insides melting at the way he smiled back at you. Gosh, just how could anyone be this pretty? This kind? This lovely?
You paid him for the service and you were about to exit the room when he called after you:
“If I’m wrong, and it happens again, you know where to find me,” he stated, coyly scratching the back of his neck. Your heart did a little somersault at his words, and your most confident side surfaced at the possibility of him wanting to see you again, so you decided to shoot your shot.
“I work at the bakery beside the sewing shop. Now you know where to find me, too.”
You turned on your heel to avoid seeing his reaction because you were already close to combusting.
Gosh, you might need to come back for heart issues at this rate!

A/N: Requests open; Pairing: CIX Members x Fem Reader Genre: Fluff Warnings: Suggestive, Cursing Masterlists: CIX JPOP KPOP

BX
You let out a groan, not being able to reach your favorite mug from the top shelf in the cabinet, "Ugh why did he put it up here!" You mumble to yourself, before standing up on your tiptoes, stretching your body as far as you can. "Ugh, almost got i-" Your words trail off when you hear the sound of someone clearing their throat behind you, you twist back to look at them. "Ehm, hey.." You say sheepishly as you're met with your boyfriend, Byounggon, feeling your face heat up because you know he can definitely see your underwear peeking out from his shirt you have on. "Well damn you look good in my shirt.. need help?" He asks, letting out a laugh, making his way over to you, grabbing the cup and placing it in your hands. "Baby! Next time don't put my mug so high up!" You playfully scold, causing him to smirk as he wraps his arms around your waist. "Oh I'm definitely putting everything up high from now on!" He says, shooting you a toothy grin.
Seunghun
"Hey jagi, can you bring me my charger??" Seunghun yells to you from your shared bedroom, causing you to playfully roll your eyes as you grab his charger. "Hun, just pause the gam-" You begin as you walk into the bedroom, stopping when you see the way your boyfriend is looking at you, eyes completely abandoning the game. "What..?" You ask, standing awkwardly in the doorway, he continues staring at you before a smile creeps onto his face. "You're wearing my hoodie?" He asks, a slight smirk evident on his face. "Y-yeah.. you said I could?" You say slightly confused, earning a laugh from him. "I did but I didn't expect you to actually do it.. I like it a lot.." He says, a blush creeping up his face causing you to smile. "Oh? You do?" You ask, making your way to him. "I didn't think you'd like it this much." You say, a smirk making its way on your lips as you plant a quick kiss on his lips before sprinting out of the room, Seunghun trailing behind you.
Yonghee
"Y/N! You look so cute !" Your boyfriend says excitedly when he walks in the door after seeing you wearing one of his hoodies. "Awh haha thanks baby. How was rehearsal?" You ask, cheeks flushed from his previous compliment, Yonghee lets out a laugh at your shyness as he sits next to you. "Jagi, I can't focus right now, you look too cute in my hoodie!" He says, pulling you into his arms. "You're so dramatic!" You say through laughter when his fingers start tickling your sides. "S-stop." You beg, laughter continuing to fill the air as he joins you. "Only if you promise to never wear another hoodie again, only mine." He says in a serious voice, earning an exaggerated nod from you. "Okay yes whatever you want!" You yell out causing his fingers to stop as he pulls you into his arms. "Good, I could get used to this." He says, running his fingers through your hair. "I love you" You say with a smile, giving him a gentle kiss, causing him to smile. "I love you too."
Jinyoung
"What is it babe?" You ask with a laugh, not expecting your boyfriend to look at you like that when you arrived with groceries. "I'm shocked! You look so good you look in my clothes! I didn't think I'd like it this much is all jagi." He says, turning towards you with a loaf of bread in his hands and a nonchalant look. "Why are you surprised? You saw me put it on this morning.. as a matter of fact you were the one who lost my shirt!" You tell him with a loud laugh, glaring your eyes at him as you remember your lost shirt. "Wh-me? I don't remember that, I don't know what you're talking about." Jinyoung defends, holding in his laughter as he looks away from you. "Okay.." You say sarcastically, teasing him as you wrap your arms around him. "Do you really like it when I wear your clothes?" You ask, he nods, returning your embrace before he looks down at you with a smirk. "Although, thinking about this morning.. I like you better without them." He says, earning a playful smack to the chest followed by laughter from both of you.
Hyunsuk
"Hey Y/N, what was that song called aga-" Hyunsuk's words trail off when he sees you laying on the couch in his over-sized t-shirt, his voice causing your head to fly up. You shoot him a confused look when you notice him looking at you. "What's wrong?" You ask as he continues his stare, causing you to sit up in an upright position. "Is that my shirt?" He asks, taking a seat next to you, a smile forming on your lips. "Yes! Did you really think I wouldn't take you up on it when you offered to share your clothes??" You ask with a big smile, bumping his much larger shoulder with yours, causing him to let out a small giggle. "I'm really glad you did.. you look so cute in my clothes jagi." Hyunsuk says sweetly, pulling you into his arms. "I don't think you'll ever get this shirt back though.. it's so comfy!" You tell him as you wrap your arms around him and look up at him. "You can keep it, it looks better on you anyways." He says, giving you a gentle kiss on your forehead, causing a giggle to escape your lips.

it’s you
—
when you first saw the boy with the mole under his eye, you thought that his partner in his past life must’ve loved kissing him there. as he saw you looking at him, he shied away, too scared to look back at you. he is the prettiest boy i have ever seen you thought to yourself. days went by as you learned his name was yonghee. some time after becoming very close to him, you’d come to the realization that he would occupy your mind. he lived in every thought. you got to know more and more about him as he slowly let you in. and over time, yonghee didn’t realize that he would come to find comfort in your presence. he would seek you out, looking for traces of you in everything he did. your presence felt like the sun rays peeking through the clouds on a gloomy day and oh, how he wished he could bask in that warmth forever. he spent his days hoping that time would never run out because there wasn’t enough time in the world when it came to you. every aspect of you was so endearing to him. to him, you were love. you were everything beautiful that the world had to offer. and then he knew, he just knew. it was so obvious that you fell first, but he fell harder.

Your parents are sleeping, right?
you
yeah why-
loml yong 🥰
Come outside 😊
Your eyes widen as you drop your phone on to your pillow, kicking off the blanket and running to your bedroom window.
Peering outside, you could see a man in a hoodie standing under a streetlight, leaning against it as he stares down at his phone screen. A gasp escapes your lips—though the guy was turned away from you, you could recognize the matching dog hoodie to your cat one anywhere.
Wasting no time, you rush over to your closet, grabbing whatever sweater you could get your hands on before shoving your phone into one of the pockets.
You slowly creaked open your door, sneaking through the hallway and down the stairs, cringing every time one of the floorboards attempted to snitch on you. Soon, you were outside and immediately blasted with the crisp 12 a.m. air.
"Yonghee!" you called out as you all but skipped in his direction.
"Hey," he greeted simply as he turned to look at you, "..you're wearing the pajamas I got you."
"Of course," you hugged him before leaning back to give him a once over, admiring how beautiful he always looked, even in the simplest clothes, "just like you're wearing the hoodie I got for your birthday~"
"Of course," he copied you, eye smile on display as he habitually took one of your hands into his own, his cold skin sending a slight chill down your back.
"Anyways, what are you doing out this late?"
"I told you I couldn't sleep.." He looks away, lost in thought as something hard to pin swirls in his eyes—a small seed of worry is planted in your stomach as you silently rub your thumb on the back of his hand, waiting for him to continue. His eyes are back on yours as whatever quiet storm they carried seconds before seems to settle. He lifts his other hand into view, a rustling capturing your attention. "I brought us snacks."
You stared at him with pouted lips, wishing you could read his mind and pick his brain for whatever was bothering him. Though you loved spontaneous moments like this with him, Yonghee wasn't generally that—he always meticulously planned things like your dates just to make sure you're happy and have as much fun as possible—so, for him to show up outside of your place at a time he'd usually be sleeping...
"Why're you staring at me like that?" he asked, breaking you out of your own thoughts. The smile stretched on his face now was one of smoke and mirrors—something you could see through.
You shook your head in response, though, because even if you could tell he was hiding his sadness away, he'd tell you eventually when he figured things out within himself. He always did.
So you stuck a smile of your own onto your face, hands immediately going for the bag as you stuck your head in to look inside, "oooh~ What'd you get?"
He was laughing now as he passed the bag to you so you could get a better look. "All of your favorites. I did good, right?"
You pecked his cheek as you excitedly pulled out a bag of chips. "Without fail, my lucky star."
"Lucky star?" He questioned, taking a seat on the curb and wiping down the spot beside him for dirt and pebbles so you could sit beside him.
"Don't ask," you responded with a laugh, already chomping away at your chips, "it just feels right."
The two of you soon fell into a comfortable silence, something you've become accustomed to since the two of you met at the beginning of freshman year almost four years ago.
You were stumbling around the halls, eyes desperately searching the walls for any clue as to where the hell your first period class was. It was the second week of the first semester so everyone else had the gist of their routes—except you. You being you, of course, this was only your first day as you ditched the entire first week. It was hard for you to make friends and unfortunately for you, none of your middle school friends came to this school; it was safe to say you weren't excited to start high school so you'd ditch whenever you got the chance.
Then there was Yonghee, some random kid who decided to help you out.
Yonghee was pretty much the opposite of you when it came to this whole school thing—he was diligent, even went to the freshmen orientation and everything. You were lucky that he noticed you, that your first period on that day was the same class, that he unknowingly let you attach yourself to his hip.
"Hey, y/n?" He called out to you, pulling you away from your reminiscent thoughts.
You simply hummed in response, glancing at him as you went back into the bag in front of you for another snack.
He paused for a second, toying with the promise ring around his finger that gleamed under the street light: it was something he got the two of you last year for your 2nd anniversary. It always made something well inside you when you notice him wearing it.
"Have you.. sent in your applications yet?" He quietly asked, big, curious eyes watching for your answer. They overwhelmed you, making you turn away as you looked up at the moon.
"Nope." You answered simply.
"'Nope'? You know the window closes soon, right? You should turn them in..."
You let out a puff of air that mimicked a laugh, but completely void of humor. "I'm not going to college."
His body was fully turned to you now, his eyes even wider than before from the shock of your words and how casually you said them. "You're not going? What do you mean you're not going??"
"I mean.. I'm not going, Yong. I'm taking a gap year, figure out what I wanna do, whether or not I wanna spend another four years suffering through school."
"And your parents said okay to that?"
"Of course not- I haven't even told them yet; they'd kick me out."
"Y/n…" he trailed off as his head spun from everything you just dropped on him.
You sighed, turning to face him with a small smile—though you understood his concern, you were dead set on your decision, already having thought it over at least a thousand times. "Hey, it's fine, alright? I'll get a job, stay with Jooyoung—you know her parents love me~"
Yonghee simply stared at you, not even knowing how to process it all or what to say in response. His face just fell further into a worried frown.
Your smile grew as you lifted a finger to his forehead, pressing at the space between his eyebrows to smooth out the crease, "I'll be fine, I promise, okay? Enough about me; have you done your apps?"
And there was that storm in his eyes again…
He looked away with a sigh of his own, "Yeah, a few Ivy's and um… an arts school."
"An.. arts school?"
"For acting- it's stupid, isn't it?" He lets out a pitiful laugh as he lowers his head to his arms that rested atop his knees.
"Not in the slightest, babe," You placed a hand in his hair, gently combing through it because you knew he loved that, "I just didn't know you were seriously into acting—I thought your theatre class was just for the credit?"
"It is… theatre isn't for me. I wanna be on a screen.. in dramas like-"
"Like Park Hyungsik?"
He lifted his head to look at you, unable to hold in a laugh when he met your sparkling eyes at the mention of Hyungsik, "if that's what you want, then sure."
"But in all seriousness though, Yong, I believe in you to make it. You've already got the face of an actor," you pinch his cheek as he blushes at your compliment, "you've got endless talent, a drive to do better all the time- if anyone's gonna be the next big actor, it's going to be you."
The smile Yonghee flashes your way this time felt like a blast of sunlight through the temporary reign the moon held on the sky. It was blinding, made your heart beat like crazy, and you knew that no matter how long you end up with him, you'd never get used to his beautiful smile.
"I feel like I can take on the world with you by my side." He whispered out, his voice honey sweet as he gazed at you.
You weren't able to handle him looking at you like that so you thought of the most moment-ruining thing you could do: fake vomit. You started dramatically gagging as you scooted away from him.
"What? What'd I say??"
You feigned disgust as you glanced at him, "how do you always manage to say the cheesiest things without realizing it?"
He rolled his eyes at you yet that pretty crescent sun stayed etched on his face. "Whatever just come back over here or else I'll have to eat all these snacks by myself."
You were quick to cuddle into his side, resting your head on his shoulder as you hugged his arm.
"Y/n?"
"That's me, yeah."
"Can you promise me something?"
You slightly pulled away from him to peer into his face, his eyes already on you, "I've been making a lot of promises tonight, but sure, what is it?"
"Promise me," he started before his hand hesitantly came up to cup the side of your face, making sure you didn't turn away from him as he spoke, "that no matter what happens.. we'll always be together, even if it's just as friends. I can't imagine my life without you in it now."
You could feel your cheeks blossoming red as you tried to stutter out a response, taken aback by the seriousness in his expression and words, "I- um- yeah.." Your hand raises to his own, your finger lightly rolling his cold ring against your cheek, "that's what these rings are for though, right?"
Yonghee didn't verbally respond but you could see the love he held for you color his dark eyes under this bleak night sky. His eyes shone much like his smile, but whereas his smile was like the rays of the sun, his eyes were the light that reflected off the ocean—it brought a subtle, but steadily growing warmth to your world.
So you kissed him. You kissed him to express all the love you held for him, love that he filled you with whenever he could, love that you were more than happy to give back.

[10:43 am] prince!yonghee finds himself in your presence as he fills himself up with the aroma of yellow tea. however, this morning tea time wasn’t like the others as he can profoundly feel his heart pound against his chest.
“y/n, please don’t fill up my tea cup! trust me, i can do that myself!” he quickly exclaims, attempting to snatch the kettle out of your grasp.
“prince, i can not allow you to do such a thing.” you assert, pouring more tea into yonghee’s cup against his will. “after all, this is my job.”
you were absolutely right. your whole job rotated around yonghee (similar to the sun and the earth) as you were his personal assistant who was designated to cater to the lovely prince and only to him.
yonghee was left speechless from your witty response, which made him feel even more nervous than he was a second beforehand. oh no, his legs are shaking and he absolutely has no clue on how to make this all stop. “you know how my family is hosting the winter ball tonight?” yonghee states, but it somehow turns it into a question by the un-sureness that rings at the end of his voice. “i was wondering if you would like to accompany me to the ball?”
you immediately chuckle to yourself due to yonghee’s naive nature. “i am accompanying you, silly.”
“no, you have the wrong idea!” yonghee shouts out loud, rising from his seat within a millisecond. “i mean─ i would love it if you came to the winter ball as my date and not as my assistant.”
never in a million years would you ever think that you had the nation’s prince wrapped right around your fingertips. “does that mean that tonight i’ll get to be cinderella as you’ll be my prince charming? going to the winter ball as your date doesn’t sound too bad. i’m looking forward to it, prince yonghee!”

2 + 13 with Yonghee from CIX & Ungjae
Yonghee:
(Admin: Guiiying)
2: They confess their feelings for you.
13: Your friends tease the two of you.
“Oh, the two of you are showing up together,” one of your mutual friends teases.
You and Yonghee let out small laughs, you slide into the booth next to the friend that made the comment while Yonghee goes to the other side. Yonghee helps grill meat upon request of the person next to him. Conversation flows naturally between all of you. Your friend Hyunggu calls out to you passing you a shot of soju.
“Y’N can’t drink because of her medicine,” Yonghee mutters placing a piece of pork belly onto your plate.
“Thank you,” you say softly, referring to the food he placed.
Of course, his comment makes the teasing start up again. The group telling him to drink it for you, which he does. You laugh shaking your head at the cheers from the rest of your friends, Yonghee laughs returning to grilling meat. The outing past this is relatively normal, most of the group gets drunker than they probably should. Yonghee, of course, does not drink any more than the shot that was given to you since he usually helps make sure everyone gets into a cab and sent home. You and Yonghee eventually do manage to get Hyunggu into a cab, him being the last and most difficult.
“Y’N, I’ve been meaning to tell you something,” Yonghee’s confidence lowers the longer he speaks, you nod encouraging him to continue, “I’ve had feelings for you for a while now,” he trails off.
Ungjae:
(Admin: Guiiying)
Same Numbers
Everyone could tell that something is different between you and Ungjae. The way both of you react to the teasing comments is different from before. When Ungjae confessed to you, you were surprised, it is not that you do not like him. It is just difficult to move from being friends to something more because that can cause problems that make your head spin just thinking about them. Ungjae shows up and sits in the seat next to your own.
The teasing that always occurs when the two of you are together, of course, begins and both of you do your best to act the way you normally would. The two others with you in the cafe are the mutual friends you met through, the two of them are getting married. Your friend asked you to be a bridesmaid and Ungjae is the groom’s best man. The four of you talk about the preparations for the wedding for a while before the couple leaves.
“I’ll drive you home,” Ungjae suggests, you hum pulling yourself up from the seat.
You decide to make yourself clear to Ungjae despite the uneasy feeling in your stomach: “Ungjae when you confessed to me-”
“-You don’t have to force yourself,” Ungjae interjects.
“I’m not,” you say with a sigh, “I like you too, it’s just I can’t help but imagine something going wrong,” you admit.

Author’s Note: This was a request and THANK YOU SO MUCH Nonny!!!! I never thought anyone would send in a request! I'm so sorry it took me so long to fulfill your request. Personal life has been a lot T_T I'm not completely back from my hiatus, but I wanted to post this fic as a celebrations of sorts for FIX Day. IDK if I'll be around here for that.
I'm sorry for any mistakes or messing up OP's fantasy!
The air vent whirred loudly. She wiped the fridge door handle one more time, eyes glancing around the floor.
The tutoring session didn’t start until 6:00 PM but Yonghee always showed up five minutes early. Coat closet door squeaking as she threw the broom inside the dusty space.
The doorbell rang loudly. Chipped polish from the tips of her nails snagged at the loose tendrils she brushed behind her ears. Dragging her feet, she scanned for any messes she might have missed.
She made a vow to clean up after herself more routinely - instead of letting small messes clutter up until she had to worry about another human being seeing how she lived. Especially someone perfect. Smart. Put-together.
Yonghee.
Giving herself a few moments to catch her breath, adjusting the fit of her blouse as she stood beside the front door. Maybe it was too tight at the neck? Chest? She certainly wasn’t perfect.
Far from.
He was her tutor, helping her with her math homework, she couldn’t mess around with the idea of flirting with him. What she was concerned about wasn’t looking attractive to him. But she still had to present herself well. She couldn’t have her tutor thinking she was lazy.
Her chest felt bubbly, like she could float into the air when she opened the door. Hands in his trousers pockets, blazer unbuttoned, and red tie impeccably in place against his creaseless white button-up, Yonghee looked more like her professor than her classmate. His round black framed glasses gave off an otherworldly maturity as he nodded to her in greeting.
She could barely say more than a couple words to him as she let him in. His sparkling brown eyes lit up, jawline sharp as he smiled. Pearly white teeth shining, his high cheekbones heightening his handsome features. Almost lost in his beauty, she looked away.
“Are you thirsty?” She walked over to her small white refrigerator in her tiny kitchen. “I have water or apple juice. Or beer?”
“Water is fine, thanks.” His handling was careful as he set his shoes aside. Her body felt the familiar heat tingle up her stomach as Yonghee stood beside her, their shoulders touching as he washed his hands alongside her. “This soap smells good. Did you buy a new brand?”
“You notice things like that?” Her head ached as hot blood rushed up to her head, neck and cheeks burning. He’d licked his lips as he smiled, eyes downcast.
“You buy very good smelling soaps. I like this new scent too.”
Her blouse felt heavy as the sensation of the silky fabric brushed against her skin. She turned away, hands grasping the paper towels from the rack that sat beside her glass kettle. The heat of his body created goosebumps up her back as he grabbed his own paper towel, reaching around her.
She walked away from their close space together, getting two bottles of water out of her fridge. Watching him fold his damp paper towel before setting it down on the counter for reuse. He’d apologized profusely the first handful of times he kept throwing them into the trash after one use.
“How did your Geometry test go?” He sat to her left at the kitchen table. Her back faced the front door and living room.
Opening her Geometry book, she pulled out the five page quiz she took three days before. There were giant red marks all over the front page. A high, sweet whistle rang as he held her quiz up toward the lamp that sat behind him.
“73% is a lot better than 59%.” Body feeling like it was a hot summer day, her blouse was heavy against the tops of her breasts. “I know I could have done better. I keep confusing congruent and similar triangles.”
“That’s a great improvement.” His long fingers ran along the edge of the paper as he set it down. Her cheeks were ready to burst - like cherry tomatoes - his smile was sweet, eyes locking with hers. “Should we go over the questions you got wrong?”
Tucking her left foot under her right leg, she leaned over as Yonghee picked up his black mechanical pencil. His thumb circled the eraser at the bottom end a couple times before clicking down to push out the lead tip. Dark tendrils fell over his forehead, head tilted down at the quiz.
“Problem 4-” his pencil tapped against paper “-you forgot about the length of the third side. Despite being correct with the equal sides, that was the error.”
Stomach aching, like something was growing inside. Up her chest.
“I was so excited that I had written the equation down right, I can’t believe I forgot such a small thing.”
“Hey, it’s OK.” His hand was over hers. The tone in his voice had gotten even softer. Like a soft gust of wind. “Going over your mistakes is a good exercise. How else will you improve? A lot of people forget about the third side all the time.”
The pink shade of his lips were the same shade as the panties she wore, making her stomach tingle like butterflies had been unleashed inside of her. His smile always made his eyes sparkle, even though the light of the lamp was behind him.
Faking a cough, she freed her hand from his warm hold. Threw it over her mouth to look away. Hoping the sudden rush of butterflies inside would disappear. Wings thrashing against her chest and heart.
“I should write this down.” She pulled out her stack of yellow Post-It notes, clicking the end of her pen against the table with her free hand. Deep breath, hoping the butterflies would settle down.
For a while, they worked methodically together. He’d glance at the problem she got wrong, tell her where her mistake was, and she’d write down notes. The Post-It notes were placed inside her spiral notebook, each note having had Yonghee’s thick index finger gliding over it to make sure they remained adhered to her notebook.
Her eyes were strained. Mind unable to track how long they’d been working. The mole she marveled so much at the corner of his eye came into view as he tilted his head down, capturing her gaze. Pretty inkspot on his creamy skin.
“Are you tired? Should we do a stretch break?”
He pushed his chest into the air as he brought up his arms, stretching them over his shoulders, flexing his elbows before throwing his fists up into the air over his head. Butterflies tickling her belly as his broad shoulders cracked. He’d pulled his blazer off. Shoulders looking so broad in his bleach white shirt.
“Did you want coffee or tea?”
“No. It’s too late for caffeine.”
Tilting her head from side to side, she looked away from Yonghee’s gaze, eyes focusing on problem 36, one of the last problems she’d gotten wrong. Tension in her shoulders and neck loosened as the familiar cracking of her joints made noise when she rolled her shoulders back. Heat hit her cheeks as she locked eyes with Yonghee again.
“Nice.” He smiled, eyes crinkling up. His handsome features brightened into sweet affection. “I knew we needed a stretch break.”
“I don’t know why I’m so tense.”
It was because Yonghee was beside her, smiling his innocently perfect smile, smelling like fresh linen and dew. Looking sexier than every before with loose tendrils falling over his eyes. Her chest shook deep inside, the million of butterflies rushing round and round her heart.
His eyes moved down to the quiz that sat between their arms. She saw his lips moving but all she heard were noises, her mind unable to turn them into cohesive words. After a deep breath, her mind connected the noises with words.
Settle down, butterflies. Please, settle down.
“-in relation to the rectangle, not the triangles within it.”
“Oh, I see.” She licked her lips, nervous. She’d taken nothing in. If she asked him to explain again, he’d know she hadn’t been paying attention. Worst tutor student ever. “Thank you, Yonghee. You’re so sweet. Coming here and teaching me so late. I probably waste so much of your time being so slow learning Geometry. As you know, I’ve never been good at math.”
Mortified that she was babbling, she shifted her eyes down as his tongue licked his lips. They remained fixed on her blank Post-It notes as she thought of the pink dots she’d noticed flush up his cheeks. Her face was hot and her blouse felt heavy against her chest again.
The sensation of hot blood rushing up her head finally dissipated. The insides of her ears stopped hearing loud ocean waves crash around as she realized the room had been silent for much longer than a minute.
Yonghee had gone silent. The blurry corners of her limited vision were still, like he’d stopped moving too.
“Yonghee?”
“You will never waste my time. Every moment with you is special. No one cares for me like you do. I wish I could show you how much I want to care for you too. This tutoring is nothing.”
She finally set her pen down and tilted her head up. His eyes were darting back and forth gently, studying her face. As she felt a hand on her neck, she touched his neck too. His face was coming in closer. His eyes were closing, so she did the same. His lips warmed hers.
Her mind spun as the scent of his cologne filled her nose, infiltrating her mouth. Down her throat.
She wanted more as his tongue wet her lips. Humming gently before she pushed her own tongue against his. His large, soft thumb caressed her jawline. Glided down the side of her neck.
Fingers grabbing the collar of his shirt, she inhaled as she let him shove his tongue roughly into her mouth, moaning softly. Cool air touched her slickened lips as he broke their kiss.
Her fingers slipped down his arm as he pulled away, one hand touching her chin. She wanted to blurt out how much she’d been wanting to kiss him, but she felt tears welling up in her eyes. If she did anything, she might cry.
She shut her eyes, his lips over hers. The familiar musk and taste of sugary candy filled her senses. Hot tears pricked her eyelashes. Hands against his chest, she pushed him away, breathing heavily through her mouth.
Eyes wide, he mirrored her breathing as she stood. Grabbing his hands, she tugged, hoping he would stand up. Tongue licking his lips, he grinned as he stood, hands shooting to her hips as he stood.
“Oof!”
Her mind blanked. She lost sense of gravity - air leaving her lungs.
A moment passed as she realized her back had hit the wall, Yonghee’s sturdy body pressed against hers. Her mouth ajar, she inhaled dramatically, hands planted against his chest.
“Are you OK?” His eyes were soft, fingers caressing her cheek, tilting her head up to look him in the eyes. Nodding, she pressed her lips together. “Can I kiss you again?”
“Yes.”
His thumb brushed over her lips, making heat surge down her chest to her stomach. Eyes shut. Knees weak. Yonghee’s hips pressing against hers.
Biting her bottom lip, she bunched the fabric of his shirt into her fists. Their lips met again, his sweet kisses consuming her.
Wrapping her arms around his neck her finger raked through his soft tendrils. His tongue flicked against her lips with every kiss. She teased him; parting her lips the slightest bit with every tug from him. His gentle hum against her lips as he paused to press their lips together shook her sinuses, reverberating down her spine.
His lips on her neck, she bucked up against him. Breathing in deeply through her mouth. Knuckle lodged between her teeth, she bit down as her hold around him tightened, stifling a moan. His fingers massaged her flesh as they explored her back and hips.
When his fingers caressed the inside of her thigh, heat surged up her insides, making the heat between her legs noticeably warmer. She released him, hands back to his chest. Her whole body filled up with butterflies, her mind spinning with jumbled thoughts. As much as she wanted more, she firmly pushed against his chest, making him break their kisses.
“Have you had dinner?” Her fingers brushed the loose hairs away from his forehead.
“I’m not very hungry right now.” His stomach grumbled loudly between them as it shook against her front.
“Let’s order something.” She laughed as the apples of his cheeks flushed pink. “You need to eat.”
She sat down on the couch with her legs crossed in front of her, feet tucked underneath as she scrolled through her phone.
The local fish and rice restaurant sold a tofu and bamboo soup she enjoyed, and they also sold a boiled chicken and rice dish that was quite popular. With one arm around her waist, body resting against hers, he held her close. She was seated in the sun with him.
Her focus was barely hanging on by a thread as he cooed gentle affirmations into her ear, finger continually brushing her loose baby hairs away from her face.
“We don’t need to order rice. I have some.”
His lips warmed the pulse on her neck. A gentle “Mmm-hmm” vibrated against the front of her throat. She moaned, his tongue flicking her skin.
“I-I-I like boiled chicken. Do you want me to order some?”
“Yes.” His nose nuzzled against the back of her ear. His deep inhale sent shivers down her spine. “You smell like lavender and peony, so sweet. So warm.”
His fingertips’ strokes against her skin sent heat rushing down her neck. By the time she finalized the order, his lips were back on her neck, sending goosebumps down her chest and back.
“Yonghee.”
His lips were over hers. She grabbed his tresses to direct him into a better kiss. Her arms tightened around his neck as his arms parted her legs, settling himself between them.
She gasped against his lips as she felt the heat of his cock against her clothed center, the weight of his hips creating a heavy upwards friction that pushed against her labia.
“That feels so good,” she breathed against his lips, nails digging into the flesh of his neck.
“I don’t want to rush it,” he said softly.
“Liar!” She laughed as she pushed against his chest.
His eyes were heavily hooded as he planted his hands on her hips. Bucked his hips against her again, harder and faster.
She cried out, feeling her chest ache, gasping for air. Arms hooking under his armpits, she clung onto his shoulders as she thrust against his motions.
The friction sent waves of fiery heat deep into her core. Her insides were hot and wet. Sweat and arousal making her whole body tingle.
“Do you want to do more than this?” He quickened his thrusting, hands grabbing her wrists as she loosened her grip on him. She arched her back, hips no longer able to keep up with Yonghee. Her mind was filled with the pleasure of his cock throbbing and rubbing against her wet heat. “You’re so beautiful. So warm. Do you want more?”
“I-I-I can’t!” He stopped, breathing heavily as he held her arms down beside her shoulders. As he opened his mouth, she cut him off. “Th-this isn’t my first time, but I’m shy. I’m not just a girl you can sleep with.”
“I wouldn’t just sleep with you.”
“I’m not a naive girl, you know. I know a lot of guys say that.”
He got off of her, holding his hands out as he offered to help her sit up. Her cheeks flushed with heat as she watched him sit back in his seat, giving room between them.
“Don’t be silly.” She moved to wrap her arms around his waist, resting her head against his chest. “What plans do you have tomorrow?”
“I have an exam in my morning class, and then I’m free to study for the rest of the day.” One arm wrapped around her body as his free hand touched her chin, making her look up at him. “Will you join me for lunch? I want to spend time with you outside of our tutoring lessons.”
“What did you have in mind?” Her shoulders felt tense as heat rushed up her stomach to her chest.
“There’s a sushi place nearby here that sells melon shaved ice too.”
“That sounds nice. And afterwards, why don’t we come back here and do some more math?”
“You want to study?” His voice raised a few notes, making her laugh as she sat up to look at him.
“Add in you and me,” she began slowly, hand touching the front of his shirt, fingernail tapping against the top button of his shirt, “subtract our clothes, divide the energy it takes for you and me to have a good time-”
“-I get it, I get it.” His nose nuzzled against her cheek as his lips warmed her neck. “I’ll buy condoms and chocolates and…lube?”
“So romantic, Yonghee, you’re so calculated.”
“You’re not as good at puns as you think.”
“Coming from a math wiz, that doesn’t add up to much.”
She laughed into his lips as his hands were back at her wrists, his body pushing her to lie down onto the couch.
Body consumed with butterflies, she held onto him tight. Yonghee spun her world upside down, but he held her safe, hands holding hers tight, lips sucking her earlobe. A sweet sigh escaped her lips.
“Thank you for this tutoring session, Yonghee.”

CIX “You give their hoodie back because it doesn’t smell like him anymore”
CIX Masterlist Group Masterlist
Ask: Cix reaction to you giving them their hoodie back because it doesn't smell like them anymore? Thank you!
BX/Byounggon:
His eyes were half closed and his breathing was heavy, but Byounggon was entirely too comfortable to get up and actually get ready for bed. His head on your chest? That was his safe spot and he just refused to get up and get ready for bed... until your fingers threading through his hair stopped.
“Why’d you stop?” He asked, lifting his head to look at you. He thought maybe you had already fallen asleep, but no you were simply looking at him. “I need you to get ready for bed.” You said, tone serious. “I don’t wanna. I’m gonna sleep in this.” He mumbled putting his head back down on your chest. “No, I really need you to do something for me.” You whined and by listening to your tone, he could tell you meant it.
“What do you need me to do?” Byounggon adjusted himself, looking you in the eyes as you felt heat rise to your cheeks. “I need to wear the sweater I stole from you to bed tonight... it doesn’t smell like you anymore and I really need it to smell like you.” You admitted, kind of embarassed at the request but still quite meaning it. Now, he didn’t know how to respond. This was quite the sweetest thing someone had ever asked him to do.
“I’m getting ready for bed right now. Where’s that sweater?”
Seunghun:
“You sound sad.” Seunghun commented, looking up at his phone screen to see your face. You looked sad too and well Seunghun knew this wasn’t fun. It was bittersweet for him as well, touring was so fun but he missed you a lot.
“I just miss you.” You mumbled, putting your phone closer by your face. You pulled the hoodie of his you were wearing up to your nose, realising that the scent of him had faded quite a bit. The realisation could’ve made you cry but you held it back. You just really missed him and it seemed wearing his hoodie as much as you had was making the scent of him go away.
“What’s wrong?” Seunghun asked, noticing how looked significantly more upset than before. “The hoodie I stole from you doesn’t smell like you anymore.” You sounded so sad, but the words were slightly funny. “The hoodie I stole...” He repeated before shaking his head slightly. “This isn’t funny. When you come back you need to wear it for a while, so it’ll smell like you again.” You pouted and he could only simply pull a smile. It was cute, truly it was and he would do that for you if that’s what you wanted.
“If that’s what you want I’ll do it. I’m so going to hold it over you that you miss me that much.”
Yonghee:
It seemed like something had been on your mind the entire day. Almost as if you were hiding something and well it was making Yonghee anxious. He was almost scared that he had done something wrong. So even though you were in their dorm, he was treading lightly around you.
It wasn’t until he caught you trying to put a hoodie back into his closet that he started to question things. “What are you doing?” He asked, catching you red handed with his hoodie. “Is this why you have been kind of off all day?” He added on and you could only blush in embarrassment. It looked like you were stealing them in his eyes. “It’s not what you think. I’m not stealing one.” You said, frowning and holding the hoodie you were trying to return.
Yonghee took the hoodie from your hands before pulling you in for a hug. “Then what are you doing?” He asked, small smile playing on his lips as he watched your face get flushed. “I took this hoodie a while ago. It used to smell like you and now it doesn’t.... I was returning it so you would wear it again and I could take it again.” Your explanation made you sound crazy but Yonghee didn’t think so. He thoought it was one of the sweetest things he had ever heard, albeit a little unhinged.
“I’ll wear it right now, so you can take it back with you when you go back home.”
Jinyoung:
The second you had entered the house he had tugged you along. Deseperately wanting to cuddle with you and be alone with you for a few moments, so much so he practically threw you onto his bed to do so. Crawling over you, Jinyoung burried his face in your chest and let out a sigh.
“I missed you so much.” He mumbled into your chest. It had indeed been a while, schedules being hectic for the both of you. That being said, you needed him to do something for you. “I missed you too... which leads me to this.” You slightly pushed him off of you and reached for your bag. Tugging out the hoodie, you handed it to him. “i need you to wear this today.” You added on and he simply looked confused.
“This is mine?... You want me to wear my hoodie?” Jinyoung was confused and you couldn’t help but sigh. You were kind of embarrassed because of this, why did he have to ask questions. “It doesn’t smell like you anymore and when we can’t see eachother for a while... I wear it because it smells like you and makes me feel better.” You explained, watching a cocky smile pull over his lips. He pulled the hoodie on over his head and pushed you back down to hug you further.
“That’s so cute, so ridiculously cute. I’m definitely holding this against you later on.”
Hyunsuk:
When you heard they were going on tour, you knew you had to get him to do this thing for you before he left. Even if that meant bargeing in on practice because you didn’t know when else you could get it to him.
“Hey, what are you doing here?” Hyunsuk smiled, hugging you tightly and tucking your head under his chin. “I know I’m going to see you before you go on tour so you can give this back then. I just needed to get this to you before then.” You said and pulled out the hoodie you had taken from his closet a while ago.
“This is my hoodie, I let you take it a while ago... why are you giving it back?” He asked, pushing the hoodie back into your hands. He liked that you had something of his, he loved it actually. “I need you to wear it over the next few days and give it back to me before you go on tour. It doesn’t smell like you anymore, I need it to smell like you.” You said and he had to bite back tears. He was going to miss you so much.
“I’ll do that but you, you need to give me a shirt of yours for the same reason. Promise?”

hello!! i was wondering if you could write an angst scenario with yonghee, where you get into your first serious argument. if you’re not comfortable it’s completely okay (:
Nope, you’re all good!! I’d be happy to write it. Here ya go, and I hope it lives up to expectations!
.
.
.
3AM.
You were dozing a little on the couch, book sat precariously on your lap, but you were feeling stubborn. You were going to stay up.
Even if it only saw him and spoke to him for five minutes before you knocked out, that was fine. It was enough. Last time, despite your best efforts, you had fallen asleep. Not this time, you thought.
He’d be home any minute now. All you had to do was stick it out.
As if the heavens heard your pleas, you heard the door keypad beeping, your password being typed in with expert hands, his memory of your anniversary date not failing him yet.
You felt relieved. You weren’t sure how much longer you could stay awake. At least now you could sleep soundly knowing that he was home safe and sound.
You closed your book, tossing it next to you on the couch and gazing expectantly at the door, a smile already pulling at your lips. There he was. Your guy.
He looked at you as he walked through the door, a small smile flashing across his face before disappearing. He must’ve had a rough day. “You could’ve gone to bed,” he said, hanging up his jacket and kicking off his shoes.
You pouted a little. “What, not even a hello?” you chastised, only half-joking. You know he didn’t mean anything by it, but it still hurt your feelings.
He let out a little sigh. “You’re right, I’m sorry,” he said, trying his best to put a welcoming smile on his face. “Hello, how are you?”
The question helped quell your mild irritation, though it still bugged you in the back of your sleep-deprived mind. “I’m okay,” you shrugged. “A little tried. You look worse, though.”
He gave a wry laugh. “I feel it.” A silence fell between you as you waited for him to elaborate.
“What did you work on today?” you asked, trying to keep the conversation going. “Something new, or..?”
Yonghee ran his fingers through his hair, doing his best to fluff it out after all the intense sweating from the day. It was useless. He’d probably just shower. “I… kinda just wanna go to bed,” he said, eyes trained on the floor. “Talk about it in the morning?”
You frowned. “Oh,” you said. “Okay, sure.” You knew that wasn’t going to happen. He knew you were busy with work and life just as much as he was, so he never woke you up if he didn’t have to.
The most you interacted in the mornings was a small kiss when you finally managed to pull yourself out of bed and him mentioning he left a piece of bacon for you on the stove and that he’d see you in the evening.
He could see the disappointment on your face. He sighed. “Listen, I’m sorry,” he said, a little sharper than he had probably intended. “I know you were expecting more from me, but you’re not the only one who’s tired, okay?”
You sat there, stunned by his outburst. “Okay, what’s with that tone?” you finally asked, feeling a bit defensive. “I never said you weren’t tired. I just wanted to talk to you a bit before bed. Is that too much to ask?”
He knew you were right, but that only lit a prideful fire within him. “Is it too much for me to ask for you to just go to bed?” he snapped. “I’m sick of carrying you to bed when my arms already feel like giving out from practice, and it’s so hard to relax in my own home with you groaning about your sore neck!”
You gaped at him. “Why are you being such an ass right now?” You threw your hands up, exasperated. “You know what? You go to bed. I’ll sleep here tonight.”
He scoffed. “Great—that way I can hear you complain some more in the morning.” He was regretting the words as they exited his mouth, but in the heat of the moment, they just kept spilling out—hot, stinging venom set on winning the petty little argument that was probably more emotionally charged than he realized.
“Why are you picking a fight with me?” you asked, voice raising a little. “Make me understand!”
“I’m annoyed!” he said, voice meeting your power. “Do I need another reason? I’m just annoyed.”
You clenched your jaw. “Why? Why are you annoyed?”
“Because I’m trying my best over here to be a good idol, friend, son, and boyfriend, and everyone’s expecting so freakin’ much from me!” he shouted, not even realizing that his eyes had begun water.
“Why is it not enough for you?” he continued. “Do I not make it obvious enough that I love you, even if I’m short on time? God damnit!” He stormed off to your shared room, slamming the door behind him.
You sat in stunned silence, frozen as you heard sniffling and muffled sobs filter their way down the hall and to your ears. Your first instinct was to drop everything and run to his side, but if you knew Yonghee at all, he needed that good cry to himself—no interruptions.
And if you knew yourself at all, you needed the same thing. Alone time.
Even if Yonghee had been the type of person that needed to be cared for hands-on in a situation like this, you didn’t have the confidence that you’d be able to provide that. You felt hurt.
He didn’t even ask how you felt.
You gave each other space for the next couple of days, keeping interaction little to none.
You were kind of disappointed to find out how easy it was to pretend you didn’t even live in the same house.
If it wasn’t for his traces strewn about—a stray sock or a hoodie here and there, his toothbrush in the bathroom, a lock of distinctively pink colored hair stuck to the back of the couch—you wouldn’t have known he was there at all.
He didn’t leave food for you on the stove, didn’t wake you up to say goodnight when he got home, and his side of the bed was always cold by the time you opened your eyes.
If he managed to come home early, you avoided each other well during the day, because if you were working from home instead of on-site, you were always in your office anyway. It was more like you had a reclusive roommate than a boyfriend at this point.
Maybe you should have approached him first, but you were still holding out hope for him to come crawling back to you, talking about how sorry he was and how much he’d messed up.
A bit of a dark fantasy on your part, but all you wanted was an apology and a nice, level-headed discussion. Again, another fantastic reason for you to bring it up first, but you just couldn’t bring yourself to do it.
The cuts from this fight, no matter how brief, ran a little deeper than any of the other little spats you’d had before. Probably because it was the product of a bunch of small, unresolved things that you’d both let go and pile up without mentioning them.
Communication wasn’t either of your strong suits, despite it being the cornerstone of any healthy relationship. You were trying to be better about it, but perhaps not hard enough.
You sighed to yourself as you sat on the couch, donning your most comfortable clothes and munching on a bag of chips as you looked over some things for work.
You decided you were both pretty hopeless. One larger scale argument and you’d scared each other off.
Then, in a very ironic manner, you heard the familiar dinging of your front door’s keypad. He opened the door and stared at you, blinking for a moment as if he were stunned. You blinked back at him, having nothing to say.
After almost a week of silence and avoiding each other, seeing him face to face felt almost foreign. “You’re gonna get crumbs all over the couch,” Yonghee finally said, breaking the deafening silence.
In any other situation, you might’ve found his nagging annoying and uncalled for, but in this case, you were just happy to hear his voice. “I know,” you shrugged. “I’ll clean up after myself—I’m a big girl.”
The silence fell over you again.
“I’m sorry—“ you both started, talking over each other. After the initial stumbling and surprise, you both smiled in a sort of bittersweet way. You’d missed each other, but in a mix of pride and hurt, you chose to ignore one another.
He inched a few steps closer before opening his arms to you, a silent invitation for a long overdue hug. His eyes were trained on the floor, still a little ashamed to meet yours just yet.
You stood up from the couch, dusting yourself off and accepting his offer. You stood there for a minute or two, just drowning in his touch and letting yourself readjust to being so close to him.
Finally, you pulled away, wordlessly leading him by the arm to the couch and sitting him down. You stared down at your lap, resting one of your hands lightly on his. “Why were you so angry the other day?” you asked softly.
He felt himself shrink. He’d been so sure of himself at the start of the week—he’d even planned a whole speech to explain his feelings and why he did that. But as the deafening silence carried on, he kept invalidating himself to the point that he didn’t even know how he felt anymore.
“I dunno,” he said, voice small. He sighed leaning forward and resting his head on your shoulder, feeling exhausted. “I just feel overwhelmed these days.”
Without really thinking about it, you started petting his hair. “You hurt my feelings,” you said honestly. “I was just trying to be a good girlfriend.” You felt him stiffen a little. “And I’m sorry I complain so much, I just thought…” You sighed. “I thought you were someone I could complain to.”
After a pause he nuzzled closer to you, his nose pressing against the side of your neck. You could feel his hushed breath. “You can,” he said. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t make you feel bad for sharing your complaints with me. I think it just makes me feel small.”
You hummed, a form of a question. “I’m not as brave and open as you are,” he admitted. “You intimidate me sometimes. And I’m not actually upset that you stay up late to see me… I just feel inferior, ‘cause I can’t do that kind of stuff for you, even if I wanted to. I’m just not…”
He took a breath, and you could tell it was to compose himself. “…a very good boyfriend,” he finally breathed out. “And I don’t have time to be. And I don’t understand why you put up with me.”
You tutted at him. “How silly of you to think that,” you said. “I’m not the perfect girlfriend either, y’know.”
“But you’re nearly perfect,” he muttered. “You’re patient, and kind, and you stay up late for me, and I can’t even thank you properly for it, ‘cause for some reason it makes me feel uneasy.”
He swallowed, his mouth feeling dry and pilly. “I don’t like you sacrificing your health and rest for me. It makes me feel bad and like it’s my fault that you’re in pain or nodding off at work.”
You felt a pang in your chest. “Oh…” you said. “I didn’t know you felt that way.” You couldn’t tell if you felt hurt or if you were just overwhelmed by how much your usually private boyfriend was sharing with you. Maybe a mixture of both.
Yonghee sighed and lifted his head off your shoulder, eyes cast downward. “I’m sorry,” he said softly, almost a whisper. “I’ve hurt you again.”
You paused for a moment. Yes, it did hurt, but that’s what the truth often does, and you just couldn’t find it within yourself to get cross with him after he finally allowed himself the honesty your relationship deserved.
“It’s not your fault,” you said, a little choked up. He finally looked up to meet your eyes. “I’ve been trying too hard to make this relationship something it’s not. I knew what I was getting into when I started dating an idol—I should have known, at least.”
You felt yourself tearing up. “I just like you so much,” you admitted rawly. “I find myself wanting to do the things with you that normal couples do, y’know? The matching outfits, amusement park dates, movie nights. But we can’t do that. Matching outfits are too obvious, amusement parks are too public, and you’re usually too tired for movie nights.”
Yonghee furrowed his brows. “So… what are you saying?” he asked, a slight tremor in his voice.
You looked at his face. One look, that’s all it took. You knew what thoughts were going through his head, and you couldn’t say he was entirely wrong.
“I’m just saying…” you started in the softest tone, leading him gently into your sudden declaration. “Maybe we should start thinking about if this is really right for us.”

[2:17am]
—
you had been anticipating your boyfriends arrival after he said he’d be home late from practice. the clock hit 2am and just barely did you hear the rattling of some keys outside your door. it seems yonghee had finally returned home. you hurriedly grab the small cake you bought for him as today was his birthday. the door opens and he sighs, not looking up at you just yet as he puts his stuff down. “y/n im home” he says just loud enough for you to hear, unaware that you are in front him. he looks at up and his eyes widen as he sees you with a cake in your hands. he smiles immediately. “happy birthday my lover” you say, as he is walking towards you to engulf you in his arms. yonghee whispers into your ear, “you’re always so good to me y/n, i love you” as he plants a kiss on your forehead. nothing is better than this, nothing is better than being with him.

Losers
context: best friend! hyunsuk has had a developing crush on best friend! g.n. reader for quite some time, but terrified of confessing to them (featuring close friends! cix)
word count: 2.0k
warnings: fluff, just both clueless, making out at one point, some arguing but not too descriptive so i guess a tad bit of angst ?
a/n: clueless love struck hyunsuk </3 so cute ! i am in no way saying this is how any of them would act in the situation with reader x jinyoung (especially jinyoung), this is all fiction and in no way real.
—————-
everyone at the dorms absolutely adored you- they thought of you as their secret sixth member who laid low and kept them company most days. they’d even refer to you as a sibling of theirs (mainly byounggon and yonghee). but out of everyone, you were closest to hyunsuk. both of you were inseparable to be honest- always cuddling during movie nights and on facetime when not together. the other four would always tease about you two getting together eventually, but it’s been a good two years and nothing even remotely close has happened between you two to that extent.
something of that extent would have happened if hyunsuk wasn’t so terrified of making a move. everytime you even look at him it causes his heart to race; don’t even get him started when you fall asleep with your head on his shoulder because he could go on for hours. he liked everything about you, both inside and out. and everyone knew it too, except you of course. when it came to you, you were oblivious.
you liked hyunsuk at first, but as months turned into two years right before your eyes you decided to let your feelings subside. you figured he didn’t feel the same so you decided to attempt to move on. you would go on occasional dates, nothing too serious, but none of them started working out once you realized you had feelings for someone else besides hyunsuk as well. they only started around two months ago, but they were growing at a rapid pace. you had no clue how it happened, but here you were in the dorms. alone. with said person.
hyunsuk had been out running errands, making sure to be back in time before you had gotten there. he even picked up some of your favorites from the convenience store down the street, loving the excitement in your face when you were surprised by little things such as buying your favorite things out of the blue. but his excitement exited his body as he entered the living room of the dorm to find you sitting in the lap of his other member, lips moving together hungrily as your hands tangled themselves in his hair and his hands held your waist.
he felt his heart shatter. all the members knew of his feelings for you, especially jinyoung. but here he was, shoving his tongue down the throat of the person he felt himself gradually falling in love with. he made his way out of the room quietly, neither of you hearing him enter. he dragged his feet towards his shared room with yonghee, opening the door to see his roommate sitting up on his iPad. when he noticed you enter in a sulking manner, his attention shifted from his current math problem he was attempting to solve to the sad maknae.
“hey, what’s wrong?” yonghee asked, setting his iPad down on the nightstand beside him. he shifted his body to have his legs hanging off the side of the bed, resting his elbows on his thighs as he leaned forward to listen better.
hyunsuk put the bag of your goodies on his bed, sitting beside it and playing with the plastic bag. “i didn’t know y/n and jinyoung were a thing.”
yonghee’s eyes widened, tilting his head to the side. “what do you mean they’re a ‘thing’?”
hyunsuk pointed towards the door before ripping open the bag and taking out a drink he bought for you, debating if he should drink it or not touch it and just give it to you later. “they’re out there making out on the couch.”
and with that, the older member stormed out of the room and down the hall to talk to jinyoung. hyunsuk didn’t bother to listen in when the voices got bigger, even when his name was mentioned. he just stared down in the bag of the goodies, eventually picking it up and stuffing it into an empty nightstand drawer. for now, he just wanted to lay in his bed and forget everything. he would put it all away later.
when yonghee interrupted your heated make out session with jinyoung, you were confused as to why he was pissed off. that was until he said something you never thought you’d hear.
“you know hyunsuk likes them, why would you do that to him?” was all yonghee said to have your mind scrambling.
you had no clue how hyunsuk felt whatsoever. again, as previously stated, you were oblivious to that fact. you sat there, listening for a few more moments before deciding to get up and storm off to hyunsuk and yonghee’s room. when yonghee said your best friend walked in on you both, you knew he would be in his room. after all, where else would he be?
you didn’t even knock, just entered and watched as he sat up from his bed with his sad eyes meeting yours. you just sighed, walking over to his bed and sitting at the far end corner. he just watched you in silence, not sure of what to say. he didn’t really have a reason to be mad at you, really. he was more upset at his group mate and himself if anything.
“why didn’t you tell me how you felt, hyunsuk?” you questioned, not breaking eye contact with him for a second. you weren’t sure how to feel at this point- you had a million thoughts in your head.
“i was scared you wouldn’t feel the same.”
“for two years?” he nodded, causing a sigh to escape your lips once more. “i liked you too, you should’ve said something sooner.”
“past tense?”
you nodded, looking down at your hands and fiddling with your fingers. “i figured if you liked me you would’ve said something. so i tried to move on. then i got closer with jinyoung and- yeah.”
he shrugged, still looking at you. “i get it. i mean, it’s jinyoung.”
you chuckled, shaking your head. “no, hyunsuk. don’t. you don’t get it. don’t think lowly of yourself because of this- because of me.”
you stood up, not wanting to look at him as you started walking towards the door to exit his room. ”i, i still really like you but after this i don’t know how to feel. i wish i would’ve known sooner. i’m sorry.”
and with that, you walked out of his room and the dorm as yonghee and jinyoung both argued back and forth in the living room with byounggon trying to calm everything down. no one paid attention to you as you left, too immersed in everything that was happening.
days, weeks, and months passed by without a word from you. you hadn’t reached out to anyone, too embarrassed of the situation. you made out with jinyoung while his best friend had a massive crush on you, and you were too blind to even notice it.
for a few days, everything was bitter between the two. after a week, everyone else forced them to sit down and talk it out like adults. and they did. apologies were spilled and hugs were exchanged. they both agreed to not allow anyone to come between them, especially over romantic interests. after that, everyone messaged in the group chat you were in with them hoping you’d respond. but as weeks went on and you hadn’t responded, they became more concerned than anything. they all missed you, especially hyunsuk. but there wasn’t much for them to do if you weren’t responding since they didn’t want to push it. all they could do was text you occasionally and hope for some type of response.
months passed, and nothing. that was until one brisk october night when hyunsuk went for a nightly walk by himself. you had been on his mind all day, even more than normal. so he figured he take a small stroll through the park you both met at- coincidentally three years ago today. it was almost eleven at night, the sounds of crickets filling the night air.
the pale moonlight kept you company as you swung weakly back and forth on the swing, your head leaning against the chains. you were missing hyunsuk and the rest of the boys a lot more than normal, but you were too scared to text them. what if they hated you? or wanted nothing to do with you? you knew that wasn’t the case, but your thoughts held you back.
when hyunsuk saw you from a distance, he felt his legs dragging him towards you. he had no idea what he was going to say, if he was going to say anything at all. but he just had to see you up close in a better atmosphere than the previous one. even if it was potentially going to be for the last time.
you looked up as you heard someone approaching, the last person you expected to see be yoon hyunsuk. your breath caught in your throat, unsure of what to say to him. you both stared at each other as he sat in the empty swing next to you. for a while, you both just swung back and forth in silence. up until he spoke up.
“i missed you.” hyunsuk confessed, kicking his feet back and forth in the dirt.
you nodded, scared to talk. so for a few moments you just sat there not saying anything, until the guilt took over you and you decided to speak up. “i missed you too. i just feel, embarrassed about everything. almost like it’s my fault.”
hyunsuk took this opportunity to look at you and reach over to place his hand on top of yours in your lap, careful to not push any boundaries he made sure to hover his hand above yours. when you reached up to grab his hand, that’s when he knew it was okay to do so. he started rubbing circles into the back of your hand before speaking again. “nothing is your fault at all. you didn’t know of my feelings for you, i should’ve said something before. i just thought you didn’t feel the same and i was terrified of losing what we had if you didn’t.”
you let out a dry laugh, looking up to meet his eyes. they held hope yet sadness at the same time, and all you wanted to do was hold him in your arms. “suk, i’ve had feelings for you for the last two or so years. i just didn’t think you felt the same way either so i tried going on dates to forget you and even convinced myself of having a crush on jinyoung to forget my feelings for you. but it didn’t work and, as fuck up as this sounds, i was imagining you the whole time.”
hyunsuk couldn’t hold back his laughter, causing you to let out a hearty laugh as well. as he threw his head back, you just stared at him with admiration. you’ve missed this, all of this. his laughter, his smile, everything under the sun. this time, you were going to make sure not to let him go.
“no one is mad at you; in fact we all miss you. me more though, of course.” he stood up, interlacing his fingers with yours and tugging on your arm ever so gently. “come on, let’s go on our first date.”
you stood up as well, following behind him in confusion. “what if i don’t want to?” you joked, a playful smile tugging at your lips.
he looked back at you and rolled his eyes, letting out a soft chuckle afterwards. “we’re both losers who are hopelessly falling for each other, i don’t think you’d say no.” he pulled you up to his side, bringing your hand to his lips and planting a soft kiss on the back of it. “unless you don’t want to, of course. i won’t force you.”
you shook your head, a smile never leaving your face as your cheeks heated up. “this loser would love to go on this long awaited date with you.”

after midnight - kim yonghee (김 용희)

a/n: this one's requested by anon and i'm so happy cuz i don't really get that much requests??? i'm incredibly sorry it took so long to write, but i don't usually write longer pieces and the fact that this ended up being 2k words is incredible to me. i hope you'll enjoy it !!
warnings: swearing, cheating accusations, argument?? yonghee is a bit of a bitch towards y/n, mentions of stalking
genre: angst with a fluffy ending, non idol! au, also mentions of fromis_9's seoyeon as y/n's best friend

the house was filled with the smell of a freshly cooked meal, the deliciously looking dinner waiting on the table. as always, your boyfriend yonghee went out of his way to prepare something nice for the both of you. and even though you should be feeling happy about it all, you felt as if there was something wrong, the tension thick in your shared apartment.
for the entirety of the day, yonghee felt distant, almost as if he didn't want to speak to you at all. and as much as you wanted to ignore it, his behavior was surely strange to you; he never acted this way, always the clingy, sweet type of boyfriend. so to see him barely speaking to you through the day, not even a kiss before work? it was weird.
you sat down at the table, your hands shaking slightly as yonghee sat down aswell, right across from you.
'thanks for the meal, honey' you said, smiling lightly at the boy in an attempt to loosen the tension up a bit. he gave you a small smile in response, a short 'mhm' escaping his lips.
he went straight to eating after that, trying his best to ignore your confused gaze on him. almost as he was pretending you weren't there.
'is there something wrong?' you finally asked, breaking the silence between the two of you. 'did something bad happen at work lately? some family issues?'
he sat silent for a few seconds, avoiding eye contact with you.
'i don't know, you tell me' yonghee said, looking up at you. you couldn't really read anything from his face, but his eyes showed a lot. sadness, betrayal and a slight but clearly noticeable hint of anger. and yet you had no idea where all these emotions came from.
'what do you mean?' you looked at him, a confused look painting on your face.
'maybe about the big flower bouquet that someone left in front of our apartment yesterday?' he said in an annoyed tone. 'or maybe the love letter that came along with it?'
'yonghee, what are you talking about?' you couldn't hide your confusion. for a second you thought he might've imagined something; you had no knowledge of any flowers, let alone love letters from anyone else but him.
'don't play dumb, y/n.' he said, the tone of his voice making you shiver. through the entirety of your relationship, he never spoke to you that way; it was something new, and definitely not something you enjoyed.
'i am not.' you said, the whole situation stressing the hell out of you. 'i truly have no goddamn idea of what you're talking about.'
'do you really?' his eyes focused on yours, his earlier resting face now expressing anger and annoyance 'or are you just hiding something from me?'
'honey, please calm down.' you stood up in an attempt to come up to your boyfriend, but he quickly shut you off.
'don't honey me right now, y/n.' yonghee spat, standing up to take a step awan from you. 'you're trying so fucking hard to pretend you're not cheating on me, it's almost funny.'
his words were like a punch straight to the face.
'what?'
you couldn't believe he would actually accuse you of something like this. in that exact moment, you felt as if a stranger was standing right across from you, not your loving boyfriend. after all, your boyfriend trusted you, or so you thought. because whatever left his lips right now wasn't any signs of trust and you were 100% aware of it.
tears started gathering in your eyes, threatening to fall down every second. you felt as if someone just put a knife straight through your heart; all meanwhile you were trying your best not to burst out crying.
the room went silent, as yonghee slowly came to the realization of what he just said, and it scared him. he promised himself, so many times, to never gush out on you, and yet there he was; standing right across from you, a terrified, broken look on your face, looking like you're at the brink of breaking down.
and it was all because of him.
he wanted to apologize, say anything that would deny his previous words, but it felt as if his mouth was sealed, and no matter how much he tried, no words came out of him.
and so he just had to watch as you bursted out crying, hiding your face in your hands as you walked out the kitchen, heading to the door. he watched frozen in place as you put on your shoes and coat, how you reached for your keys from the top shelf, where you would always put them.
‘y/n-’ when he finally managed to say your name, it sounded more like a weak plead rather than his voice just minutes before, and all of a sudden he found himself at the brink of crying.
he took a step towards you, an attempt to prevent you from leaving, but at the same time he knew that you would walk out the door either way. he fucked up, and your reaction was adequate to the situation you were in.
he had no other choice but to let you leave.
‘i’m going to seoyeon’s place.’ you said, trying to contain your crying just for a second. ‘just so you know where to find me, i guess.’
and you left, closing the door behind yourself, leaving yonghee to himself in an apartment that had never felt so empty before. it didn’t take long for him to break down just like you did a bit earlier; tears staining his cheeks as they rolled down, landing on the wooden floor.
that night, yonghee didn’t sleep for even an hour straight.
he was so mad at himself. for leashing out on you the way he did, for accusing you of something he knew you would absolutely never do. he risked losing you over something so stupid, too blinded by his own anger to even give you a second to explain yourself, to remind himself that you loved him too much to even come close to anything as terrible as cheating on your loved one. cheating on him.
he contemplated on whether to drive to seoyeon’s place or not, knowing well how overprotective of a friend she is. she probably wouldn’t even let him inside; not after hearing about what he did.
yonghee didn’t waste any more time, not even bothering to change into something that wasn’t his yesterday's outfit. he looked quite miserable; hair messy, clothes creased, but at that time, it wasn’t really important for him. what was important was getting to your friend’s place as fast as he could.
you didn’t really know what to expect when you saw your boyfriend in the doorway of seoyeon’s apartment, breathing heavily as if he was rushing up to get there. you didn’t have too much time to think about it, either; soon enough seoyeon’s head peeked out of the kitchen, and quickly rushed him to get inside.
‘can we talk?’ he asked, his eyes focused on your face. before you were able to answer, though, your friend quickly got in the way of you two.
‘before you even try to explain anything to her, i need to exchange a word with you.’ seoyeon looked serious like she never did before, yonghee shivering slightly at her cold and expressionless eyes staring daggers into him. ‘come outside with me for a minute.’
she looked over to you, her gaze immediately changing into a soft one, as she mouthed a quick ‘i’ve got this’, before disappearing behind the door.
and so you waited in silence, with shaky hands and stress eating you from the inside, waiting for them to come back.
you were grateful to have a friend like seoyeon for many reasons. one of them was that no matter the situation you were in, she would always help you out. just like she was doing it now.
the night before, after she calmed you down and let you explain what had happened at your apartment, you asked her to talk to yonghee before talking with him yourself. she agreed immediately, knowing what the situation looked like, knowing why the argument even started in the first place.
after all, you were well aware of the flowers and letters sent to you. you were just to afraid to tell yonghee about the whole situation.
the idea you could ever have a stalker never really crossed your mind, and yet here you were; receiving flowers, letters and other presents, first to your desk at work, then right to your doorstep. every single time before you had managed to somehow hide it from yonghee, afraid he wouldn't believe you if you told him about it, or that he would react the same way he did the night before; accusing you of cheating on him.
and so you kept it to yourself. after a month, it became a routine for you; throwing out the presents you always got every day, extra careful not to let anyone see that there was anything wrong.
but seoyeon obviously noticed.
she had asked you about it one day at work, and you almost broke down in tears explaining the whole situation. even though you tried to play it cool all of the time, reality was this stalker thing was eating you from the inside. but having at least one person to help you deal with it was great, and you were grateful that she helped you with getting rid of every single thing your stalker got you. yet still, you didn’t want to listen to her with the most important thing, it obviously being telling your boyfriend about it.
so you were incredibly relieved when seoyeon agreed to having that conversation with yonghee instead of you. she took a really big weight off your shoulders with that, and you couldn’t possibly comprehend how much you appreciated her for that.
you heard the door open, snapping you out of your thoughts, and suddenly, the stress came back. but it seemed to die down immediately the moment you saw yonghee, his gaze soft and caring, just like it usually was.
he immediately came up to you, closing you in a tight hug, one that you definitely needed at that moment.
‘i’m sorry, honey.’ he said, resting his face on the crook of your neck. ‘for everything i said yesterday. for not taking time to think everything through. for gushing out on you like that. fuck- i’m so sorry.’
you smiled at him, your hand resting on top of his head, slowly stroking his head.
‘it’s okay, really’ you said, your hand continuing the movement. ‘it’s partially my fault for not telling you about the whole situation. i was’ you stopped for a second, taking a deep breath. ‘i was just scared you wouldn't believe me if i actually told you.’
‘please don’t feel that way, ever again’ he said, his eyes locking with yours. ‘and don’t think it’s your fault, y/n. it was me who’s in the wrong for gushing out on you this way, and i shouldn’t have done this. i’m here to support you, right? help you through every situation. after all, your problems are my problems too, you know?’
‘i’ll keep that in mind.’ you mumbled under your breath, just enough for yonghee to hear. he simled lightly, planting a quick kiss on your forehead.
‘sorry to interrupt your moment’ seoyeon said, walking out of the kitchen with her phone in her hand ‘but are you guys staying for dinner? i planned on ordering pizza today, and there’s a discount if you buy more than one.’
you looked at eachother, laughing silently.
‘i’ll pay for it.’ yonghee said, his words sounding more like a fact than a suggestion. ‘it’s the least i can do for now.’
‘sounds good to me.’ seoyeon said, heading back into the kitchen ‘but don’t think you’ll buy yourself into my graces this way. i’ll have my eye on you!’
yonghee laughed at your friend’s remark, looking over to you.
‘don’t worry about that. i’ll prove to you i’m worthy of dating your best friend.’

— yonghee as your boyfriend
pairing: boyfriend!yonghee x reader a/n: requested + an anon requested anything for yonghee, so i decided to make a aybf post since those are usually my to-gos post ideas :’)
i could be totally wrong, but i sort of imagine yonghee to be a shy person in a relationship (꜆꜄ ˃ ³ ˂)꜆꜄꜆
give him some time and i’m sure this feeling will fade away!
but for now
he’s a shy mess whenever he’s around you
do you know how hard it was for him to ask you out?
sometimes, he still can’t believe you’re all his
so he always looks as you in astonishment
during the times where you notice how shy he’s getting
you would end up shouting “hello, yonghee? we’re dating??? stop being so shy! since we’re dating, we can be super comfortable around each other and such.”
and yonghee is just sitting on the side like “okay…” while blushing
he’s TOTALLY disregarding what you just said
it doesn’t matter what you do
you always make him smile like an idiot and blush 24/7
it’s as if you have yonghee casted underneath a magical spell of yours
as mentioned in his profile ↓
yonghee enjoys board games (especially when he’s playing them with you)
occasionally, the two of you would have game nights where you both stay inside and play a variety of board games
such as monopoly, scramble, life, clue, ect.
once in a while, you guys would invite his fellow cix members to come over and play along
“THIS! IS! NOT! FAIR!” seunghun yells on the top of his lounge as he points a finger at the monopoly board and then at you and yonghee. “you’re so biased, yonghee! i told you that i would pay for your land, so why are you giving it to y/n for free?”
“it sucks to be a loser, huh?” you poke at seunghun, laughing in between your words
“you’re the loser here.” yonghee comments, continuing the game as if nothing is wrong. “y/n is losing and i’m winning, so what else am i supposed to do?”
basically, you’re losing the game of monopoly while yonghee is winning, so he felt bad for you and started to give you free money and some of the properties he owned
and seunghun is losing his mind because it’s not fair
tldr: yonghee is your gaming partner in crime who would give u anything and seunghun is a hater because no one wants to be his partner
doesn’t really call you any pet names because he still feels too shy and embarrassed to call you “baby” and other names similar to that
adding onto that, he would also get suuuuper embarrassed when you start calling him those names too
you: babe, can you hand me my phone?
yonghee: m-me? i’m babe???
and he would just then proceed to quietly blush as he grabs your phone for you
buys you things without you even asking
“i stopped by the store and bought you your favorite chips!”
“guess what i bought? it’s 100% not for me, so try guessing ^___^”
“i was shopping with byounggon and i saw this shirt and just thought it’d look great on you─ so you can kind of say i couldn’t help, but to buy it for you.”
he keeps a mental note of all of the things you love and hate
in general, he just knows so much about you
it’s crazy to you because you’ve never met someone who’s so invested in you until you met yonghee
always asks his members for advice when it comes to you
he wants to be the perfect boyfriend, so he does whatever it takes and this includes going to others for help
they’re usually super wise and give him great advice!
except for hyunsuk
he just says random things to annoy and to pull everyone's strings
and things usually go wrong whenever he helps SOOOO
yonghee: what should i get y/n for our anniversary?
hyunsuk, is about to speak: y─
yonghee: anyone except for hyunsuk
hyunsuk: EXCUSE ME??? Y/N IS MY FRIEND TOO I CAN HELP BUT YOU LITERALLY WONT LET ME????
he normally says cheesy phrases without even acknowledging it
“thank you for being mine.”
“i don’t know what i’d do without you.”
“it’s always been you.”
when you call him out for being a natural cheesy romantic
he pauses because he’s like “i am?” because he has never noticed it
but it’s different when you’re the one saying cheesy stuff and throwing compliments at him
“stop…” yonghee mumbles, causing you to freeze
you slightly panic as you’ve never seen this side of yonghee before. “why? did i do something wrong?”
instead of responding back, he swiftly covers up his face with the palm of his hands
and in that moment, you knew exactly why he wanted you to stop
he wanted you to stop because you were turning him into a soft mess ! ! !
he forgot to cover his ears, which was also turning red, so it was easy for you to detect that he was blushing like a rose bud ( ಠ◡ಠ )
holding your hand is enough to make his heart explode
with that being said
you kissing him would send him to cloud nine
kisses with yonghee are usually super slow and soft
and sometimes, they’re short or they’re just a peck on the lips
he tries his best to remember every moment with you
since you guys are still in the beginning of the relationship
things will evolve later, so try not to worry because it won’t always be like this ! ! !
yonghee’s alcohol tolerance is about 1-2 shots of soju
SHOTS not BOTTLES
so sad compared to baejin who could drink 3 bottles
so you can’t really drink with him
but on those days where you two do drink
he becomes drunk in a matter of seconds
and he’s constantly slurring his words as he suddenly grows the strength to announce his love for you all over again
“y/n, yo you men s tei wurlddddd tu me u kn ow tet rite?”
y/n, you mean the world to me. you know that, right?
“i dnt suy tis enuf but… i lew yu n alweis wil”
i don’t say this enough, but… i love you and always will
you don’t mind this side of him
because you actually love it!
and once he sobers up the next day, you pretend as if nothing happened since you know he’ll freak out once he hears what he said the night before
“man, i have the worst headache.” he rests his head on your shoulder. “what happened last night?”
“nothing much! the usual, ya’know? just you confessing your love for me. same old thing.” you jokingly say, awaiting for his response
“oh, that doesn’t sound too bad─ WAIT WHAT?”
