I think a lot of what people were saying happened "too early" in s2 of shadow & bone was really the writers saying s3 is unlikely, so this is our chance to give everyone some of what would be to come :(

#you cant win either way #you write as if it's your last and you sell yourself short of your full potential #or you write anticipating more and end up with an incomplete story in the end #in a way i'd prefer the latter #because just as a writer.. the former can be a frustrating way to tell a story #you're restricting yourself #yet this just brings me back to how lucky nancy drew was to find out about the cancelation just in time to craft an ending for the series #if nd was canceled without a proper ending i'd have been inconsolable lol #re: shadow & bone though #i feel like to an extent it was a challenge from the start #s&b and soc shouldn’t have needed to be combined #netflix got two for the price of one #flythepost

I watched Avengers: Age of Ultron (apart from I skipped some overly long action sequences) and I am not sure so can someone tell me whether or not Tony Stark was the baddy in that film? Because about halfway through I was sure he was but then it was maybe just an evil robot after all and I am confused because either this film was surprisingly subversive or it was about robots hitting each other.

#I CANT STAND THE CONFUSION IN MY MIND #also i get why people wrote wanda/sylvie. they should go on a wholesome chick-flick revenge-quest together. and also they should kiss.#also i am now only *half* joking about thor being in love with mjolnir #it kept doing Christianity Bits which was quite awks.#not sure why it used the bit about building the church on a rock for some metal i mean wasn't jesus making a pun there? about peter?#i think Vision might be Jesus? or else he's Dr Manhattan who's done a first year philosophy course. could go either way on that tbh.#BUT TONY WAS THE BADDY RIGHT? #loved this back up feature so much and seeing that bruce timm shit made me annoyed enough to actually transcribe it #first the way hes depicted as having to stand trial and ARGUE and fight for the rights of using the coin #rather than it just being a compulsion and something he must do before a decision....#like every time. every time when he's 'leaving it up to chance'—thats a time when harvey won. thats a time when harvey fought for the right #to use the coin and make it at least a 50/50 chance instead of 'crawling away until the hard part is done' like two face pushed for #every single time. regardless of the results regardless of knowing theres only a halfway chance of it actually achieving anything #or lessening the damage two face can/will do. every time hes fighting for and still believing in a fair trial and that everyone deserves on #it isnt him being weak. it isnt him avoiding responsibility. its him fighting and forcing and pushing for it as hes internally at war #with himself 24/7. even when two face wins he doesnt give up & continues to fight for what he believes in despite the injustice done to him #the way he tells Judge Janus that it isnt about HIM (himself!) while defending the right of existence to the jury of other societal rejects #the way he gestures to himself only at the very end. he asks the judge does that sound like anyone he knows and janus replies in two faces #voice but harvey keeps going. he keeps fighting for others. but at the end in actually acknowledging two face being part of him #(and by extension harvey being part of two face) and how harvey is fighting just as much to have a place as two face is #(but more within his own mind & upholding his belief system still despite knowing how it continues to fail them) and just FUCK #and two faces snaps! how theres no jurisprudence system above there either ! just no one will admit it!#how harvey knows!!! look what happened to him when he was doing the right thing!#look how many criminals and mob bosses paid their way out! look how the police are corrupt!#but still believing in it and how a system has to be in place despite being a direct victim of it as well and just GOD #I LOVE YOU GOOD HEARTED AND WANTING TO HELP PEOPLE HARVEY DENT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS TO ME !!!!!!!!#taking away how he genuinely wanted to help people and bring wrongs to rights takes away literally everything hes built on #it takes away the entire fucking tragedy of his character (and in many ways it changes how bruce himself operates and believes because #harvey WAS a good man doing everything by the books. he was trying to bring justice in the 'right way' and believed in the system. he was #what people tell bruce he should be and look where it got him. look how the system failed 'even the good ones' because the system itself is #corrupt. it isnt flawed—it was operated to oppress and thats why it cant just be fixed but must be entirely rebuilt and why bruce must #operate outside of it. it also gives more depth because harvey is one of batmans first and biggest failures. he didnt protect him.#he didnt save his parents as a helpless child (as bruce) but he couldn't save his parents as BATMAN.#it wasnt just random chance like his parents tragedy but this was calculated and something bruce didnt stop. its ALWAYS going to eat at #him if he could of prevented it by telling harvey his identity. by doing something different. by being more prepared or somehow #knowing it was going to happen. harvey is the face of tragedy in so many ways that cant fit in these messy rambly tags but its ALLL!!!!!!!#bc harv was (and still is despite it all! despite two face!) a good man!! because he originally was a glimmer of hope to bruce & the city!!

killer should know about dumb video game meta stuff ike i-frames and animation cancels and critting amd breaking out of bounds and use it to his advantage in fights. maybe he learned it from chara in something new as a silly little thing to try out because theyre already teaching him all this bullshit on killing so whos to say a video game character cant learn a player's cheats?? he's already interacted and collaborated with a player before i think its fair he knows tricks on how to cheat undertale's fighting system

everything's all fine and dandy in a fight against killer (no it isn't) until you see him glitching around and somehow phasing through your attacks. he looks ridiculous but it gets the job done

potential sonic 3 spoilers incoming if anyone cares. anyway . apparently there was an official survey about the knuckles show/scu in general and one of the questions was about what name you would use for an eggman/shadow/gerald teamup. which is a weirdly specific question. and also one of the name options was team dark …….. ?? even though rouge isnt mentioned in the question and theres no sign of her being in the next movie in general ? i was willing to accept amy being introduced a little after knuckles and tails but between there still being no sign of her being in the next movie and now this if they actually have gerald time travel or something and have him be the third member of the dark story trio instead of rouge then i will be fully convinced that theyre going out of their way to exclude as many already existing girl characters as possible. like i get cgi is expensive which could be part of the reason rouge might not have made the cut. but damn . assuming this is real anyway it could just be another fake leak but idk

#im not saying the writers hate all the girl characters (iirc they have said they like amy and rouge and shown interest in adding them)#and i also dont think the movies have to be complete copies of the games in terms of stories and characters #but some of the decisions being made here are so weird and kinda show a lack of care for those characters ..#its especially odd that iirc theyve said that part of what influences the choices on what characters to use is popularity/recognizability #both to fans of the games as well as more casual viewers #yet they might be rewriting a major part of the story just to include gerald over rouge?#and they wanted a character who was a ghost echidna that guided the living characters and they picked pachacamac #instead of tikal who both already fits that description And is more popular?#okay well i doubt casual viewers would know who tikal is but they dont know who pachacamac is either #and its also an objective fact that tikal is more popular among fans . im going to have to rewatch pacific rim again and take my own notes on the timeline because the timeline given on the wiki makes NO SENSE. supposedly the double event was jan. 8 and pitfall was jan. 12, but newt was in the bone slums from before otachi's attack right up until his drift with hermann, which was DURING pitfall. you cannot tell me that was four days.

1 - Why do you like or dislike this character?

The chess games you can play with him are really fun. I love how the difficulty organically builds up over time the further you go and the more your PC perishes- it really feels like you're slowly bonding with the guy, getting more comfortable with him, getting more comfortable with the Neath in general, etc etc. Even if the watchful checks are a bitch by the time you hit endgame.

Seriously, look at this! Look at the progression!! It's so charming. I love it so much. I may be losing in my boardgames but I am winning in my heart.

9 - Could you be roommates with this character?

Hell yeah!! The Scoundrel is already practically roommates given how much they've died already/die on a bi-weekly basis. I wouldn't mind a skeleton homie. He's a little... intense, but he's a cool guy. I think we could hang out together. Some time off that boat would definitely do him good.

Okay so. I'm doing some reading on the 2024 presidential candidates because this is the first year that I'm able to vote and I want to know as much as possible. So im on this website, ballotpedia, and tell me why LITERALLY ALL OF THE CANDIDATES SUPPORT ISRAEL?? literally all of them are like "well israel is all good and dandy and has the right to protect thenselves (:" and like??? HELLO?? THEYRE COMITTING GENOCIDE??! I'm so tired of this fucking country good god, we cant even get one cadidate that opposes genocide and war crimes?? What the fuck.

#im so so so so so so so bad at changing my bedsheets.#theres NO right time 2 do it.#no way am i doing it right when i wake up. i have to get showered and go out im BUSY.#plus if i put nice fresh sheets on the bed it will b all too tempting and snug and i will simply have 2 get back in..#but you cant change it at night before bed either! im sleepy i had a long day !!!#AND you'd have to either take another shower (no way. im not showering twice in one day unless something Terrible happens)#or get the nice fresh clean sheets greasy and grimy with ur whole days worth of Yuckiness all over u #and u most certainly you CANNOT change it in the middle of the day. thats just mental illness thered be something really wrong with u #THERES NO WINNING.....
