Okay so like, I don’t even go here really, I watched a few seasons of MHA early on, thought it was cute and fun, read some fic in the past like years ago cause as anyone who has followed me for more than two seconds knows I like to ship da ships. But i dropped it pretty quickly cause grownup with grownup things and now I occasionally throw a heart at good fan art when I see it but full embarrassing disclosure I legit cried full on real ass tears about bakugou this week seeing that panel randomly cross my dash because the little I have watched and interacted with he is hands down, no question, don’t care what your issue is with him, my immediate fav because you know I’m 100% “the angry one is feral for the sunshine one” and growth.gif on main and my brain was like “Welp let’s see what’s going on in this neck of the woods now” and did a whole deep dive and got really obsessive about it and started reading fic I don’t really have context for because of who I am as a person.

But basically, I refuse to believe that’s final. Like I might be in full on denial, I don’t know this genre very well so maybe this just happens sometimes (stupid but go off I guess) but from a writing perspective, just surface level basic storytelling, that would be a super dumb thing to do with how the series is setup and how prominent that character is within the main framing, like in no way is that a satisfying end for such a critical character or even narratively sensical to do in the context of IZUKU’s story. My brain might jump to something else before it gets resolved lol (someone message me what happens) but I just thought it was hilarious that I was like “oh, this thing I casually watched years ago and forgot about is on my dash this looks dramatic…what’s going on here….WTF NO. NO. I WILL CONSUME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO SEE WHATS HAPPENED TO MY BEST MOST IMPORTANT BOI!! MY EMOTIONS HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED” in an instant meanwhile I’m such a filthy casual I have to look up who some of the side characters when they pop up in fic because I legit can’t remember them or didn’t stick around to meet them. My brain is a wonderland of ridiculous.

But yeah, if that’s how it ends for him that’s stupid as all fuck. But like he has the little stars in his eyes and around him and stuff and that’s like a whole *hand wave* thing right? I dunno. Anyway, he’s super gay and loves Izuku (maybe Kirishima, I dunno, they cute too) and they’re adorable forever and I just think he’s neat AND I WILL BURN THIS SHIT TO THE GROUND IF THATS HOW HE GOES OUT YOU FUCKS.
