Zatz sighed heavily, hearing the doors open to reveal Mixcoatl walking past the guards who were watching him. The demigod frowned and growled slightly, his fangs showing a little.

"You know, it's impressive." Mixcoatl laughed. "How despite your attempts to escape, to try to avoid me, to hide from me,...I would have you here at my mercy."

Zatz maintained his frown, not taking his eyes off the young god.

"I hope the Chichimecas have treated you well during your stay." His tone was venomous.

"Oh yeah." Zatz forced a smile, his sarcasm coming to light. "I love being locked in a cell, having my hands tied and having dry food put on my plate."

Mixcoatl laughed openly. "Oh, Zatz. Always so sarcastic." He walked towards the cell. "But that won't help you get out of here."

"What do you want, Mixcoatl?" Zatz asked.

"You know why I'm here."

"If you're going to question me, you're wasting your time." He said firmly. "Your locals tried to get information from me, but they couldn't. What makes you think you'll get me to tell you everything?"

Mixcoatl approached him slowly, his dangerous aura becoming present when he came face to face with Zatz.

"You better not underestimate me, half breed." “He said with a growl. His gaze turned dark. "You won't stay silent forever. Sooner or later, you're going to give in and reveal to me what you know."

Zatz looked at him in disbelief. "What do you want with them?"

Mixcoatl walked away and began to walk around the cell. "By now, you should know that I never left a task unfulfilled." He said. "And see you suffer? Ohh, you can't imagine how much I'll enjoy it." He smiled grimly.

Il parait que les premiers mots sont les plus difficiles ... Voici le récit de ma petite histoire de ce qui appel l'éveil spirituel. Ce blog commence car j'ai rencontré beaucoup de difficulté à trouver des enseignements sur ce que je vivais au quotidien dans ma tête. Alors pour mieux comprendre, je dois commencer par un point.

Je suis née dans une campagne profonde, la petite "dernière " d'une famille de filles adorées par leurs parents, tout ce qui a plus normale.

J'ai évolué avec mes petites ou grandes peines de coeur d'ados, et de relations amicales. Une vie plutôt "classique" dans le chemin que mes parents avaient tracé pour moi et je les remercie car il était plutôt confortable.

J'ai fait de belles études en alliant chimie et commerce, arrivé dans la meilleur entreprise qui puisse me convenir. Un petit copain comme sur le papier, avec forces et pas mal de faiblesses, on construit notre vie de jeunes adultes, on adopte un chien, on achète une maison. Cette vie de conte de fée m'existait tellement que je me cachait les yeux pour ne pas voir que je portait beaucoup sur mes épaules.

De nature très curieuse, optimiste et dévoué à évoluer, je me suis mise à écouter des podcast de développement perso.

They say the first words are the hardest … Here's my little story of what spiritual awakening is all about. I started this blog because I found it very difficult to find teachings about what I was experiencing in my head on a daily basis. So to understand better, I need to start with a point.

I was born in the countryside, the youngest of a family of daughters adored by their parents.

I grew up with my little and big teenage heartbreaks and friendships. It was a rather 'classic' life, following the path that my parents had mapped out for me, and I thank them for it, because it was quite comfortable.

I did well in my studies, combining chemistry and business, and ended up in the best company I could find. We built our lives as young adults, adopted a dog and bought a house. This fairytale life was so real to me that I hid my eyes from seeing that I was carrying a lot on my shoulders.

By nature very curious, optimistic and dedicated to evolving, I started listening to personal development podcasts.

And then the fatal blow arrived: he left me…

Upon the day where the tribes honor and pay tribute to their dead, Micte sends Maya out to comfort those whose misery overtakes them.

"Follow the sorrow and comfort them, mija."

First up is Luna Island, Maya is guided to Rico who is posted outside the old school rather than enjoying the festivities. She notices the spirit of the Grand Brujo sitting beside him. She is sent on a quest to remind the Grand Bruja of her father's last request

Into the Jungle Kingdom, Maya follows the sorrow to the Widow Queen. As much as the young queen misses her parents she sends Maya to Chimi who she acknowledges suffers far more. Chimi does not take her arrival well at first

Once Maya finds Picchu, after a strange and one-sided battle, she assures that Picchu was not wrong about mercy and that he does deserve a warrior's death, that it was the bandits who betrayed his honor.

Next is the entire Teca tribe. Maya joins in the ceremony dance, somehow managing to summon all of the warrior's that fell in the battle against Mictlan. When she approaches her parents however, she doesn't confess her identity. She introduces herself as a traveling priestess coming to offer whatever solace she could, and proceeds to summon her brothers - they, of course, are confused by the situation but stay surprisingly silent.

"Can you bring back our daughter? She was taken from us by a cruel god."

"My apologies my queen, it seems I cannot find the princess."

As hard as it was to see the heartbroken looks on her parents' faces, Maya manages to stay strong. Letting them believe that she was lost.

And last but not least, when Maya returns to the Underworld, Camazotz asks a favor of her. He gives her the bracelet from his late wife.

"He doesn't know I took it, but if you could... bring her to him, I would be indebted to you."

Leading the Pack

Prologue

This is the first Fan Fiction I’ve written in a while. Please don’t judge me too harshly but I’ve had this thought for so long and it needs to be out of my system. TW Please be warned, this will mention animal death and angst. A lot of angst. Along with a scene about a dog attack and traumatic experiences. Plus a sympathetic Bakugo which may be out of character but I love the thought of bakugo loving animals and feeling sorry for you when you loose one of your pack. Also all characters are around 20 years old at this point. Just for clarification.

You are number 35 on the pro hero list international, known for your rescue skills in severe international natural disasters. Your skills were especially useful in search and rescue. Your quirk was animal communication. And your specialty? Dogs. You had a pack of 7.

2 boxers large and muscles that ripple when they run. Both the age of 6. Atlas and Chimi. They were your support. During hard battles of search and rescue along with body retrieval. They could sense any human from miles away and bring you to there location to triage and hopefully save lives of civilians.

2, 6.5 year old huskies, the female Komi and male Shelti, which pull your sled. They work quickly and your so in tune with them both. Raising each dog from when they are two weeks old. They are strong. Both auburn and white in colouring. Their eyes piercing blue. They never backed down when it comes to you. They will push themselves to the end of the earth for you.

A large pit bull who is a licensed therapy dog. About 70lbs. His age is almost unknown. Around 5-7. His Red short fur and spiced brown eyes. Bring comfort to those who need it. His name is Jona, children love him. They ride his back and he knows how to distract them. Your communication is clear. Distract them from the trauma. Keep them away from danger. And if they have lost someone. Use his trauma training. Keep them stable. If there is a medical emergency he howls loudly. Your sidekicks know that his deep loud howl mean he needs help as soon as possible. He was a rescue. He has some scars. But that never stops him from helping children. No one touches his kids until he knows they are not a threat.

Your 5 year old bloodhound, Amber, a light brown with a black muzzle that is a striking contrast from her light brown fur. She is your main tracker beside your lead. She knows indicators for other search and rescue teams. She is a happy dog despite all of the horror she has seen. You lend her to sidekicks for when her skills are needed to track a villain or a missing person and you are unable to be there. But you only ever trust your animals with those you know you can trust. Such as sidekicks who have worked closely with you.

Finally your lead. Ruben, a large 70lb and very happy dog. A Rottweiler. He follows your lead, and leads your pack. He has at the lead in running the sled. He shows your where the most critical civilians and hero’s lie waiting needing you. He is the eldest of your pack. At 8 years old. All black in contrast with your bright suit. He is the one you have the closest connection. He knows you. As you know him. He is your protector. He is fast. Extremely fast. He almost has a quirk of his own in his bite and bark. The bark is loud and has caused villains to freeze in fear allowing for another hero to intercept and take down said villain.

You have been saved by his bite before. When you were young (around 12) and Ruben (1 year old) someone broke into your family home. Just a small time robber wanting money. You hid in your room and realized you had left Ruben outside and you could hear his fear and anger. “Don’t touch my family don’t touch my leader don’t hurt them. I won’t let you.” And you heard an audible snarl. The robber froze and then laughed. His bark hasn’t been as strong then. But his bite, the robber started to make his way toward your room in the back of the house after dismissing Ruben. Your heart is racing as you hear footsteps outside your door and a voice calling. You can do nothing but freeze you want to get up and stop the man from hurting your dog but you can’t. You are paralyzed. Your so young you don’t know what to do and your cellphone so you can call for help is in the bathroom. You can only think is “Don’t hurt me. Please don’t hurt me. Don’t find me” Ruben can hear your fear. He can smell it in the air. Then the robber smelling of sewage and smoke opens your bedroom door. You can hear the faint clacking of your dogs claws on the floor. You don’t know what to do. You hide under your bed shaking as you realize. You have nothing to defend yourself with. You hold your breathe as to not make a sound. Then you see his boots. Dark and muddy. Worn and there are rubber pieces coming off the soul. “Who’s in here I wonder…” the robber states aloud. You can feel hot tears streaming down your face. Then you see Ruben at the door. He will not let this man touch you. You can feel his presence grow even more angered. He is now too close to you. And Ruben will never let that happen. Ruben lunges. The robbers back is turned. Looking around the room he doesn’t see the large dog behind him until it is too late. The dog latches on to his leg. Piercing the skin quickly. The man screams in pain. Ruben doesn’t care. He is too quick. He thrashed the man to the ground. Ruben didn’t care how much the man screamed. He came too close to you. And Ruben drags the man down. And out of the room. He keeps biting and piercing the skin every single time. Until the man stops moving. He can’t. He’s lost too much blood. When you hear the screaming stop. You get up from under your bed slowly. And cautiously walk to the bathroom to call the police. Eventually Ruben joins you. He stands by you while you cry. Even with the blood on his face and paws you weren’t afraid of him. He protected you. You held him. And cried while the cops questioned you. The robber lived. But his reproductive organs did not. He was jailed for a long time. After all. He had been robbing multiple homes in your area and had killed a neighbour. Your parents didn’t think to worry because they were only going to be gone for 20 minutes. When they arrived. They saw the ambulance and police cars and were terrified until they realized you were safe all thanks to Ruben. They enrolled you in a hero academy thanks to Ruben. Because you worked together so closely after the incident it made sense for you to be together. Your hero name? The rescue hero, Tracker. (I’m so sorry for the long backstory but it’s needed. I promise here’s the start of the story)

You have been sent to Japan for your latest mission. There had been a massive mudslide. Mud and water crashed into buildings. In the nearby city hero’s from across the world have come to ground zero. You have prepped for the destruction but every time you see the destruction even the 5 years you’ve been a hero your heart breaks. You know the fear these people are dealing with. You touched your gauntlet gently. Showing a map and language of the area. You select Japanese so that you are able to communicate with civilians and hero’s alike. Most hero’s also know English nowadays but if your dealing with younger hero’s it may be easier to talk to them using your support gear. You had been called in about 1 hour after the mudslide occurred. Luckily you had been getting ready to go to the hero Expo in order to take a look at all the new gadgets and support gear. All your dogs were ready. You got into your transport and got to work. You prepared your team. Your sidekicks were already there when you arrived. At 20 years old you were impressive for how much you’ve grown since graduation. You eyes evaluated ground zero. You saw a hero you have met before. Eraser Head, you had helped him track a persistent villain about a heat ago and with your help he was able to subdue the villain with his bandages. He looked at you as Jona came up to him knowing full well that the pup would get head scratches from the notorious cat lover. He greeted you with a simple “hello. I know it’s bad when you have to show up,” you nodded in agreement never taking your e/c eyes off of him. “We need to get to work. Atlas. Chimi, start looking for survivors that can walk. Signal the team if you find anyone alive and need to get free. Amber your with me and Ruben were going to be looking for hero’s that are trapped and civilians that are in the deepest trouble. Jona look for children and stay near the triage tents and try and help those who need comfort. Bring all the children to one area and alert medical staff. One of my Japanese counterparts should be there to help you communicate. They were made aware of our arrival. Komi and Shelti I will harness you in the sled. You are our fastest route to triage in the field. You will be without Ruben so do not overwork yourself. I will signal and let you know of my location when I find someone in need of transport. You all need to stay safe out there. I need you all to come home.” You bark these orders to your dogs. They disperse. You look at Eraser Head. “ show me the most affected area.” The obsidian hair male nodded. Ruben and Amber at your heels. You walk with Eraser head. The damage. There was so much damage. You could hear the wailing. That made you jump into action. You run to the mound of mud sliding to check a persons pulse they grab your wrist, there is an air pocket. Ruben starts digging around the hand. You start digging too. Amber begins digging about 1 foot away. After about 5 minutes of digging you reveal a head and top of torso. You gently start to pull by the woman’s shoulders. She is crying. Your translator comes to life. “My baby. Please please save my baby “ she wails. You notice Amber digging hurriedly. “You keep saying how you will try and find her baby. Your hair already sticking to your face. You don’t know if it’s tears, sweat or the fog that is rolling in. But you keep pulling. And pulling. The rest of her torso comes free slowly. Eraser head has run over to help pulling. Her hips and then her legs. The mud is caked to your hands. But you don’t care. You pull her out. She is so small she is so afraid. Eraser Head asks her if she can walk. She says she doesn’t know. You are trained to do triage. You check her legs. They seem fine. Her one arm is broken. She probably has a bruised rib. You hear a deep bark. Amber is barking loudly. You jump up onto your feet. “She’s fine except for her arm. And maybe her ribs. She’s lucky” You rip a sticker from your gauntlet. Stick it to her. You hear a wail. It’s a baby. Amber has found the child. You go to grab the child. Then you hear a BOOM

Chimi: Daughter of Vucub AU headcanons. Part 2: Rico and Chimi's encounter

After a year, Vucub took care of Chimi and Zatz, whom he treated as his children. Both of them sometimes go out on missions or to hunt (more the last one because they didn't have to risk being caught by Mictlan) One night, the two warriors went out to get some fresh air or just to come out of hiding for a while until they were gone. They ran into Mictlan's warriors, who were chasing them and ended up separating.

Chimi was somewhat lost in the Endless Forest, desperately searching for Zatz until she fell into the territory of Luna Island. This is where Rico comes in. He was outside the kingdom looking for food from him on his behalf and he meets her, looking at her curiously. Chimi noticed that someone was following her and out of instinct, she attacked him, ending up with him on the ground and her on top of him. As he was able to take a closer look at her, Rico was able to see her beauty and said certain words that he had never heard from a human: "You're...a miracle."

As Rico marvels at her, Chimi feels a slight fluttering of her, snarling at him as Rico tried to follow her but he couldn't reach her and lost her. From that moment on, Chimi couldn't help but think about the young Rooster Wizard, a feeling that might change her life forever.

A day has passed since she lost Zatz and she still hasn't found him. However, she would not be alone for long. One afternoon, Chimi was hunting for food and ran into someone she thought she would never see again: Rico. The wizard was glad to see her again while Chimi was not very impressed by seeing him, her hatred for humans was even more evident. Both Chimi and Rico continued on their way, with some small talk from Rico, since Chimi wasn't paying much attention to what she was saying. It didn't take long until they heard noises near them, something moving towards them. Suddenly, Zatz appeared in surprise, believing that they were enemies. Chimi was glad to see him well, as was Zatz. Both siblings hugged each other tightly.

Rico was confused. Zatz looks at Rico suspiciously as Chimi introduces him. Rico got nervous when he heard the word "brother", so he wanted to introduce himself in the best light. Zatz still looked at him in the same way but still received him well. The trio decided to advance so that they do not meet Mictlan's warriors. Night comes and they take refuge in the middle of the forest. When they were going to sleep, they heard a fight near them. They came closer to see what was happening and saw how there was a fight between Acat and the Princess of the Tecas, Maya. Zatz, somewhat upset by the dishonorable situation, decided to put a stop to it, with Chimi trying to stop him. Acat was shocked by the presence of her ex defending a human, Zatz looking at her with some anger. She couldn't attack him so she left.

Chimi sits by the water, she misses Maya. The young queen gone from war, leaving Chimi widowed. So, Chimi sits here at the edge of the pond, as the sun sets.

"Buenos tardes," A voice says then, "Or, is it Buenos noches now?"

"Zatz," Chimi says softly without turning, "You're early."

"Maya still dosen’t have her memories." Zatz says softly to his platonic life partner.

Chimi sighs, finally looking to the man who she shares Maya with. It had been a long discussion, but the small poluly cule works just fine for them, and Chimi gets to date Rico.

It's enough for them, makes them all happy.
