Content: Self-explanatory! Mentions of violence, though not in graphic detail. Very small spoilers for a small piece of dialogue at the end of Episode Gladiolus, but nothing too significant. (All established relationships. All separate parings. Gender neutral reader.)

author's note: HEYYY ANON!! I'm so glad you like the headcanons for the Noctis post. And no worries!! I'm always happy to post about these boys. I love them dearly haha. If you wanted me to talk more about the threat being something towards their relationship/jealousy, let me know and I can do a separate post about it since that in itself is a different can of worms.

Noctis

Poor guy. The thought of that even crossing his mind makes him reel.

He's the Prince of Lucis, and while that helps in terms of security it still makes him very anxious. People who may not have the highest regards for him could go after you to get at him, which scares and angers him.

However, if someone or something made a threat against you for any reason, he's going to be pissed.

Majority of the time, he's going to get the Crownsguard on that person's ass for it. They're not getting out of this easily and Noct is not afraid to use his position.

Though he's not opposed to throwing hands himself, but you didn't hear it from me.

Protectiveness levels: Very High

Prompto

Let's get this out of the way first, if someone put you in a dangerous situation, he's abandoning what he's doing and probably his regard for his own safety to help you.

He's panicking, unlike Noct who's the prince and could easily get the help he needed instantly, Prompto would have to find it. Likely will drag in the guys (who will help him in return).

Compared to Noct, he doesn't have much of a reason to be extra protective since he's not royalty or born of a line of nobles like Gladio or Ignis.

He's less on trying to get any revenge on the person who did it, but more focused on how you're doing.

So, unless that person did something so damning, he's not going to tear them to pieces. Probably.

Protectiveness levels: Medium to Low

Ignis

Silently fuming and trying so hard to maintain his composure to not find them. And no, he's not going to kill them. Unless on the very rare circumstances he loses it, he won't.

Yes, he will try his best to remain calm and take the situation with caution, though part of him says otherwise.

Since he was Noct's caretaker when he was younger and swore to protect him, he had the experience of receiving threats like that. While that got personal sometimes, when it happens to you it's a whole different feeling he's not accustomed to.

Similar to Prompto, he's immediately tending to you first. Reassuring you (and himself) that you're okay and safe. But unlike Prompto he will definitely get people involved to bring that person to justice.

It's better for him and everyone in the end, just to preserve his sanity and integrity. Though he won't be opposed to be involved in some "personal" investigations.

Protectiveness levels: High

Gladio

Really hope whoever did threaten you knows how to defend themselves.

You know how Prompto mentions in Episode Gladiolus how he saved Noct from a bully one time and beat them up? Yeah, he's gonna rip them to pieces.

Not only is he serious when it involves being Noct's shield, but yours as well. Whoever dared to threaten you is not coming out without a black eye or some other injury because holy shit, he's furious.

You'd have to plead with him not to accidentally kill them or hope the guys are there to hold him back from going any further. Only then, thanks gods, he might back off.

He'd still be very upset afterwards and the harsh words from Cor will not help. But eventually with your presence, he'll cool off and apologize to you for seeing him like that.

So, I'm writing a fic bc I read a fic and now I'm having THOUGHTS.

So. We fuck with the time table. Instead of Noctis being 10yo, Ignis being 12, Luna 14, and Ravus 17 (how old I normally hc them to be for the attack), they're about 2 years younger (Ravus is 16 but only has been for like 3 weeks). Noctis and Regis went to Tenebrea with Claruas, Ignis' uncle, and Ignis because they thought it would be a good idea for Noctis and Luna to get to know each other. Obviously this falls to shit and the Empire attacks. However, the kids make it out and Queen Sylva doesn't die. I have an oc (her name is Kendra and ill explain her more at the end) who ends up going with the kids because she's friends with Ravus. The kids end up going to Galahd to hide, and of course change their names.

So now Ravus is 'Ralin' but not really because they chose that sense it shortens to Rae, and that's Luna's nickname for him. Kendra just shortens it to Ken. Luna's now Lily. Ignis is Edward because Eddy sounds like Iggy. Noctis is Nathin because Nat sounds like Noct.

So they end up in Galahd, which is mostly open to the Tenebrain refugees, so long as they contribute in some way. They don't really need to worry about money because due to the war the government has all the money, and people just use trade. The kids end up on the largest island (will use map we see in ep. Ardyn and put screenshots at end), and they wander around for a few days before Ravus finds somewhere for them to stay. This is a slightly rundown inn with 5 floors and a basement, each floor has two apartments.

They are on the second room on the second floor. This inn is run by a woman, Miss Erica, and rather than paying rent they just kinda work for her. So she'll send Ravus out of run errands and teaches Kendra to cook. Because she is teaching them how to cook and clean. She also has a school on the top floor.

Their version of school is set up different and I will explain that in another post, but they all have to go to school at different times of day.

Nyx and his family also live here. Nyx ends up becoming friends with Ravus. Nyx's mom helps watch Luna, Ignis, and Noctis. And everything is good for about 2 years, then the Empire attacks again. Ravus protects Nyx's sister and motjer, and losses his left hand and about half of his left forearm. Kendra was hiding in the inn's basement like she was meant to be doing. Ignis and Noctis were out in a field not to far away and get attacked by a Maralith (giant 6armed sword welding snake lady). Ignis dies, but Noct doesn't know that so he accidentally brings him back to life. Iggy is now blind. Noctis has about the same ingury that would have sent him to Tenebrae in canon. Luna panics and ACCIDENTALLY SUMMONS A GODDESS.

She's also an oc, Ifrit's younger twin, goddess of molten rock. Her name is Agyua. She puts everyone in a pocket dimention of sorts, and kicks the Empire the fuck out of there. She did not send Luna away, and sort of goes through Luna's head to figure out where to put people when she puts them back. Like putting Ravus, Ignis, and Noctis in the hospital. Luna passes out, ends up in a coma to regain her strength. Same with Noct. Kendra has to help with cleanup, and Ravus and Ignis help each other relearn how to walk. (Ravus doesn't get a prosthetic for a few more years because unlike most healthcare in Galahd those aren't free.)

Now Agyua gives Galahd's solders and medics her blessing, and now you have the Glaive only not loyal to Lucis. These abilities do change a bit based on where you're from, like Tenebrain's are very good healers.

About now Sylva makes a deal with another oc, Miyako, goddess of the dead, and also Ardyn. Miyako was imprisoned by Bahumut and whipped from history, and is pissed at him. Cor also adopts Prompto around now. Kendra joins the hunters.

Another four years Regis still hasn't been able to track down Noct, and make Cor the heir. Regis keeps a group to secretly look for Noct (Gladio, Aranea, Cor, eventually Iris) Prompto has been online buddies with Noct for a while now, figures out who and where he is, and tells Cor. Cor sends him with Gladio, Aranea, and Iris to go get him. He's not home when they get there but Luna is, and she thinks them sus so she stalls until Noct does get home. Noct knows Prom, nobody else. And trusts Prom, but nobody else. Hence more stalling until Ravus can get beck, because he's been in charge from day one, Ignis isn't n town today and neither is Kendra.

Ravus has Prompto call Cor to better explain the situation, basically goes 'I'm not dragging us over that hell hole of a war zone to get to Insomnia' and now Gladio is mad at Ravus because Cor put Ravus in charge and Glado was supposed to be. Another year, and Miyako uses an army of dragon ghosts to drive the Empire out of Tenebrae. Miyako and Agyua are dating and have Tenenbrae and Galahd make an allince. Somewhere in there Ravus and Ignis get together. Also almost all of them end up fighting on the front lines at least once. Luna and Ravus (bc he also can heal screw u) fix up Noct and Iggy so Iggy can see in one eye and Noct's only issue is he now accidently shares him magic with Ignis in ways he's not supposed to be able to. Libertus and Crowe move in down the street, become friends with them.

Ardyn kidnaps Sol, kills her dad who was the heir the nif throne, and gives her to Sylva because that man doesn't know how babies work. Now the Empire is starting to self destruct.

Two years later, and our group gets to go to Insomnia. (Also Noct and Luna are a thing now.) They tell a few people about who they actually were, and Nyx is flabbergasted lol. After a bit Luna and Ravus have to go home, which isn't fun because by now they all have some level of seperation angxity and codependency issues (pls ignore bad spelling).

They figure out the whole Prophcey, go f*ck Bahumut, fight him with Agyua and Miyako, win, and Ardyn ends up ruling Lucis with Area after Miyako brings her back form the dead, while Noct and Luna get married and run Tenebrae. happy ending but Nyx dies only to come back during fighting god. so. just don't always trust that the dead are really dead.

Anyways! Kendra! She's 15 at the start, has long brown hair she likes to dye random colors, is pretty smart, and strong, basically the dad friend while Ravus is the mom friend. Also sarcasm.

since ever crisis is doing a crossover with ix it made me think that maybe they’ll do events with other ffs too, and my fave is xv so heres my propositions for who i think would get who’s outfit

cloud: noctis, they’re both the main characters of their ff games so it just kinda makes sense, cause i can only assume thats what they did with the ix collab and giving cloud zidane’s(?) costume (i think but i might be wrong i know literally nothing about ix…)

zack: prompto!!! noctis’ best friend!!! silly little puppy dog men!!! i think zack would probably fit prompto the best overall

aerith: lunafreya! because luna’s dress reminds me of that one skin they already gave aerith, the wedding dress looking one! and i think aerith would look really pretty in luna’s outfit :) plus they’re both like the healer kind of characters

tifa: probably cindy i think, cindy’s outfit kinda reminds me of tifa’s bathing suit outfit (i’m not entirely sure why but it just kinda does) and that one feels more likely than pairing tifa with iris, but i do think tifa would look very cute in iris’ outfit too! its really hard to choose when theres only like… 3 women in xv

barret: gladio! they’re both just the buffest ones tbh… not really any other correlation but i think the outfit would look good on barret

sephiroth: ardyn… i just think it would be funny to see baby sephiroth dressed in *that* monstrosity! plus i think matching the villians would make sense like matching the mcs, like cloud and noctis! although actually i also think ravus’ outfit would totally suit sephiroth!!! like 100% it would look so good!!! (it would also further my seph/aerith sibling hc)(no i don’t actually think they’re siblings i just think the ideas fun and cute)

bonus: yuffie: iris!!! if tifa doesn’t get iris’ then i think yuffie would also suit it super well!!! i would love to see yuffie as iris, plus character wise it makes more sense to me for yuffie to be paired with iris than tifa getting iris…

bonus 2: rufus: ravus! since sephiroth as ravus wouldn’t really make sense, pairing the secondary “antagonists” does! plus they’re outfits are both really cool and mostly white and i just overall think rufus would look super good (i love both ravus and rufus a lot so i’m highly biased)

bonus 3: red xiii: ignis… i think it would be funny trying to get him into one of ignis’ suits… or, idk how they would do it, but umbra or pryna!

cursed bonus: hojo: verstael except hojo gets the verstael episode ardyn treatment where you find out that hojo in his younger years was actually a cute twink that looked similar to sephiroth

Briar's Family

Roland Stephan Auroria (ローランド・ステファン・オーロリア, Rōrando Sutefan Ōroria)

Twisted from: King Stefan from Sleeping Beauty (1959)

Briar's Father. The fairy king of the Slumbering Willows who loved a human woman. After losing his lover when she gave birth to Briar, he kept her at the palace but due to the pressures of tradition as well as the guilt of leaving the one he loved to die alone, he let his fear overcome him leading him to ignore Briar so as not to lose the respect and praise of the nobles. He does provide her with servants and tutors and even allows her to roam outside, at least up to the limitations placed on a royal. But other than that he hasn't contributed to anything nor tried to defend her when the nobles gossip about her.

Eletha Lilith Auroria (エレサ・リリス・オーロリア, Eresa Ririsu Ōroria)

Briar's stepmother. The king's second wife. She is very strict on keeping traditional beliefs and makes sure to keep Briar away from the prince. Constantly reminding the king about the importance of keeping to the same group and upholding the tradition of pure bloods belong with other purebloods while half-bloods belong with other half-bloods. She doesn't outright bully her; she just blatantly ignores her like the other pure blood fairies do.

Aurus Gladio Auroria (オーラス・グラディオ・オーロリア, Ōrasu Guradio Ōroria)

Briar's younger stepbrother. The prince and heir to the throne due to being a pure blood fairy. He follows in his mother's guidance and ignores Briar, though he wonders why his father bothered to keep her in the palace at all. He never got to know Briar and sometimes catches a glimpse of her wandering the palace gardens.

Amare Casia (アマレ・カシア, Amare Kashia)

Briar's Late Mother and Roland's first lover. She was a commoner and a human with merely just a flower shop to her name, she met the fairy king who was wounded in her garden after he was careless and was thrown off his horse. She brought him into her house to help him recover, he fell for her the moment his eyes met hers. Even after he recovered he continued to visit her until it was one night they spend together that led to her pregnancy. He was petrified at what the council might say so he asked her to keep quiet which she reluctantly agreed to. She passed away after giving birth to Briar and she was left to be taken care of by an old woman who now lived in the old flower shop. It was when the king returned he finds out what happens, out of guilt he takes Briar to his castle. Briar's looks resemble her mother so much that the king can't help but remember the woman he left to suffer all alone.

Confidants: The Foxtwill Family

Yolanda Foxtwill (ヨランダ・フォックスウィル, Yoranda Fokkusuu~iru)

A fox beastwoman who married a half fairy. The seamstress of the Tailor Shop that her family runs. She saw Briar all soaked in the rain when the carriage that was supposed to take her back to the palace, didn't arrive. She caught a cold standing outside and Yolanda offered to keep her in the house until she feels better. When the royal guards knocked on their door, they were shocked when she realized that the child in her house was a princess. Briar reassures them that they are safe from any supposed punishment. And from then on, Yolanda welcomes Briar to live with them when the palace gets unbearable to her. Outright thinks she is better suited to be queen instead of the narrow-minded royals.

Ash Foxtwill (アッシュ・フォックスウィル, Asshu Fokkusuu~iru)

Yolanda's husband who delivers the clothes and fabrics made by his wife. He is a buff man who is half fairy that married a fox beast woman. He loves his wife and he treats Briar like his own daughter. A big softie who comforts Briar and was the only father figure who gave her the encouragement she needed to hear. He also makes corsages that are cute and popular among the other villagers.

Oliver Foxtwill (オリバー・フォックスウィル, Oribā Fokkusuu~iru)

The eldest son who take care of silkworms that make the cloth. He is a skilled weaver and has a soft spot for silkworms, even if the girls run away from him whenever he tries to show them to seem cool. He even joked sneaking a live silkworm into the King's pants to teach him a lesson, Briar hopes he's joking.

Olivia Foxtwill (オリビア・フォックスウィル, Oribia Fokkusuu~iru)

The youngest daughter who admires Briar because she is an actual princess. She loves to play dress up and shows Briar all the dresses she will wear when she marries a kind hearted prince.

OH BOY I have so many uhhh. I'll just give a quick rundown + lore posts for the OCs who have one, since you didn’t ask anything specific :D May or may not put this in my pinned as a general OC masterlist too while I'm at it

Pokemon -> Max - Lore post + Visual reference - 25-30 years old, lives in Galar. She works as a gym trainer, first at the Dark gym and then in Circhester's Ice gym. She prefers Ghost types above all else but she's pretty well-rounded! She’s sweet and timid but also a little gremlin and I love her dearly

TLoZ -> Ethie - Lore post - Something about soulmates through time or whatever with Link (platonic or romantic, depending on the timeline). Descendent of Malon, although I might change her canon so that she just was Malon lol. She's also Beedle's sister! Most of the lore I've established is of BotW/TotK times, where she's a traveling blacksmith with a home-base in Hateno.

Spiderverse -> Apple Spider - Lore post + Visual Reference - A little shit who accidentally ruined her canon and destroyed her earth. Now she lives permanently in Nueva York/in the Spider Society building. She's a master in the art of being annoying but lovable, and takes on kinda the wine aunt/bestie cousin role for a bunch of the younger Spiders.

Sun Haven -> Autumn - Visual reference - Half-moth amari (amari are anthros, basically), and half-elf! She's gentle and kind. Loves just hanging out with her animals and helping people around each city, rather than actually doing much farming. Winds up making permanent residence in Nel'Vari, a hidden elven village west of Sun Haven.

Sun Haven -> Marlowe

- An aquatic amari of the shark variety! Kind of a piece of shit unless you’re important to them. They’re messy and loud and blunt but they’d literally do anything for those they care about (in the end, though, the person they care for most is themself). Moved to Sun Haven to be closer to water and become a monster hunter and adventurer. They were previously a tattoo artist in The Big City

Baldur's Gate 3 -> Lilith - Visual reference - A resistance Durge! Was besties with Orin and on the verge of marriage with Gortash before being lobotomized and tadpoled. Now she just wants to right her wrongs, or whatever -- she's absolutely horrified by her Urge.

Baldur's Gate 3 -> Aether - Another Durge! Same past as Lilith, except during the events of the game, she begins sorta morally grey and evolves into a frickin monster. She's one of those "I'll hurt everyone except the people I love types," and genuinely wanted to rule Baldur's Gate alongside Gortash. After The Brain(tm) offed him though she kinda just went apeshit and embraced Bhaal.

Pikmin 4 -> Ed - Visual reference - I don't have much lore for her lol.. she mostly does night expeditions because she prefers to be nocturnal and likes hanging out with the glow pikmin. She's super sweet but bad at expressing her feelings, so nobody really knows it unless they give her a chance to open up! Her affection can come off as aggression but she just doesn’t really know how to portray herself

FFXV -> Mari Vitrum

- “One of the guys,” but not in an annoying pick-me kind of way and more so the constantly-being-a-little-shit kind of way. She was a close friend of Gladio’s from childhood, which is how she met Noctis and eventually became part of his crew. She’s not a fan of Ignis (except for his cooking) so they kinda just tolerate each other lol, she and Noct bicker like siblings, and she’s besties with Gladio and Prompto. She prefers to fight with daggers, taking more of an assassin approach and fights SUPER recklessly. Will easily have to use several phoenix downs during tougher battles, partially bc she gets dagger-happy and partially because if anyone’s gonna die, she’d rather it be her than her friends.

Stardew Valley -> Elise

- Partial visual, since I haven’t drawn her fully yet

- A lot like Sebastian in that she’s spent most of her life staying indoors nerding out, looks almost sickly pale, and wears black hoodies a lot. She only moved to Pelican Town to escape Joja and Zuzu’s high rent, really. She’s more focused on having a ton of animals (mostly to hang out with) and only keeps a few small patches of crops. Has her nose pierced and 3 ear piercings on her right side, but only 1 ear piercing on her left, in short because she got lazy. She has a vampire bite tattoo on the left side of her neck and constantly gets roasted for it (she goes along with it like a champ), as well as a sloppy self-made stick and poke tattoo over some self harm scars that says “I lived, bitch.” Still unsure of where I’m gonna plop that down on her

Coming up!

Ignis inhaled deeply before letting out a weary breath. He could see Prompto was sitting by the river, dangling his feet off the edge of a makeshift dock. From the calm serenity of environment, Prompto didn't appear to be in too much grief from the earlier altercation. It was as if his yelling match with Gladio never happened. Ignis knew better than to overlook something simple. In his experience, it was always the ones who were quiet that were hurting the most.

Adjusting his glasses, Ignis proceeded through a small thicket of trees and quietly ventured to where Prompto was sitting. He calmly sat a few feet away, giving the younger man a smile and a nod to which Prompto returned.

For a long while, nothing was said. Neither wanted to address the elephant in the room, and Ignis vowed to himself he wouldn't be the one to cast the first stone. This fight was Prompto's and he was just here for emotional support. He prayed that Noctis was fairing well with calming Gladio back at camp.

"Iggy," Prompto's voice was quiet, that Ignis almost didn't pick up on it due to the sound of the rushing current cancelling out most noise.

"Hm?"

"How's Gladio?"

"As well as he can be," Ignis sighed. "You did hit his ego, and for most, that's a tough pill to swallow. Knowing him, he'll get over it eventually."

Prompto shook his head and sighed bitterly.

"I shouldn't have told him those things, but he pissed me off! I'm so tired of him telling me to get out of the way, yelling at me for helping in battle, and the random put downs! Initially, I didn't care. I thought he was just joking around, but then--I started to second guess and I blew up. I shouldn't have blown up. I know I'm a huge jerk." He slapped his own forehead out of frustration with himself, causing Ignis to flinch.

"This may not be something you wish to hear," Ignis began while Prompto was catching his breath. "But even the most calm among men do have their limits. Even good friends. I must admit there have been times where all three of you have personally gotten on my nerves, through no fault of your own. These things happen. People become tired, overwhelmed, their social battery drains, and it's natural."

"My anger wasn't natural though," Prompto countered and furrowed his brows sadly. "That wasn't the right way to handle my frustration with him."

"At least you have the wisdom to acknowledge that," Ignis nodded. "Most people don't bother."

"Iggy,"

"Yes?"

"Do you think I should leave the group?"

Ignis let out a small gasp, taken aback. "Why do you ask?"

Prompto shrugged. "I'm thinking Gladio had a point. I do get in the way, and I try to help too much. It's obvious between you, Noct and him that I'm the weak link, so maybe I should just--get dropped off in Lestallum or something, and see if I can be of help from a distance."

There was a plethora of reassurances Ignis could give, but he felt none would measure up. Not to what Prompto needed to hear in this moment. He was beside himself, and blinked a few times before turning his attention away from Prompto and to the river, watching the water cascade downward against rocks and the roots of trees that dipped into the shallows for a drink.

"If that is the path you wish to choose, then I will acknowledge and respect it." Ignis paused and thought his words over carefully before proceeding. "However, I feel you should know that despite your flaws, I don't think any of us could handle the trip if you weren't around. I adore you. Please never forget that."

Prompto did a double take when he heard the latter words. He nearly froze hearing such sentiments come from someone calm and collected like Ignis.

"I..." Prompto was half tempted to ask him if he was under the influence, but the genuine tone behind Ignis's words had Prompto feeling an emotional pull. He wiped away at the corners of his eyes, sniffling a bit while letting the weight of Ignis's proclamation take root: that he was wanted despite everything. Despite his insecurity, and the mistakes he had made, he was still needed.

For the first time in ages, Prompto smiled until it hurt.

“We are not lost.” Ignis presses the pad of one pointer finger against the metal nose bar of his glasses, sliding them upwards. The view past the lenses is blurred, smeared with the rainwater dripping from his hair. He had tried to clean them off, but the insistent rain had soaked through the cleaning cloth in his pocket. Even under shelter as they were, the air was so thick with moisture that they remained just as soaked as if they were in the open. 

“We’re definitely lost.” Noctis peels his coat off and shakes it, droplets flying off the black leather. Prompto flees further to the back of the overhang to avoid getting caught in the spray, already resigned to wearing wet denim until they figure out where they are. The Prince- King, Ignis reminds himself- slips the layer back on and crosses his arms. “We need Gladio.” 

“Well we don’t have Gladio around.” Ignis bites back on a sigh, tugging on the collar of his shirt to try and get the wet fabric away from his skin. It’s a sentiment he’s thought about many times since Gladio left to find his strength. Many rightly consider Ignis to be the smartest of their group, the tactician and the analyst, the King’s advisor, the one who is always looking out for them. That’s just the problem, Ignis has come to realize. He’s always looking out for the others, keeping track of Prompto, making sure Noct is protected, making sure Gladio isn’t pushing himself, that his awareness of his surroundings is based on his companions. His hands tense, pinching the top button of his shirt between his fingers. He missed the other man desperately, and for more reasons than just his outdoorsmanship. 

A heavy, dramatic sigh pushes him from his thoughts. Prompto has returned from the back of the overhang, a smile attempting to break through the mask of melancholy on his face. “Well, since we’re not getting any drier in here we might as well have some fun with it.”

The end of his sentence is punctuated by him planting a boot in the center of Noct’s back and shoving the King into the rain. Noctis lets out a wordless cry of outrage, hair immediately becoming plastered to his face and his boots sinking into a puddle. Prompto dives out into the rain after him, bending to dip his hands into the layer of water beyond the shelter and fling it upwards. Noctis kicks a wave of water back, the two continuing their battle further and further out. 

Ignis just shakes his head at their antics, calling out to them. “You’re just going to get more lost.” 

The two younger men pause their watery combat and exchange a glance that sends a jolt of cold fear down Ignis’s spine. For good reason, as he feels the air behind him crystalize with magic, Noctis warping in behind him while Prompto sprints over to grab at his arms. 

“Don’t you dare!” Ignis digs his heels in, resisting the combined attempts of the others, Noct pushing and Prompto pulling, to drag him into the rain. It’s no use, as the rain slick stones beneath his feet betray him and he’s pulled out into the marsh. The rain immediately makes a home in his clothes and his hair, gathering on the frames of his glasses. 

He gives in, gives up on thinking about directions or protocols. No longer an advisor or glaive, just another idiot lost in the rain. Ignis takes his glasses off carefully, wraps them in the safety of one hand, and takes off after his fleeing friends.

Random short headcannons for FFXV, because I hope it will make your day better in every sense.

-Titus called Cor in their youth chihuahua (due to reason that Cor was 15 years old super small kid with angry issues)

- Cor loves heavy metal and rock, yet has soft spot for when Weskham plays piano

- Cor sometimes for the shit of it calls Kingsglaive by Kingsdaves ... Titus hates it with his whole ass being, and all  the glaives are  so confused (Meanwhile Clarus, Regis and Cid are laughting their asses off)

- On the contrary to popular belief Titus cares about his glaives! It´s tough love without doubt, but the glaives wouldn't want it any other way

- Cid actually helps glaives when they stop at this garrage from mission. Mostly offers them food or shower. Then Cindy checks their cars for any damages. (Of course he sends Regis a hefty invoice)

-Glaives have Guide how to not die on the battlefield and Handbook 101 rules: How to be cool glaive that won´t die in the 30´s (there is a lot of pictures, and it has like 500 pages)

- Glaives uniforms are definitively enchanted. Every piece, even if it looks impractical, has some kind of improvement (endurance, magic resistance, strenght, ..)

- Prompto is the main photographer for sure. But did you know he took photos for Kingsglaive and Crownsguards? Not only the cool stuff for their brochures, but also complete mundane things  such as Pelna hugging Crowe or Tredd sharpening his knives or even laughting Cor with Titus. LAUGHTING. COR. AND. TITUS!

-Regis quite often sneaked with Noctis on fishing trips. Clarus had to improve security measurments because Reg was slacking on his paperwork and young Noct wasn´t attending homeschooling as he should.

- Clarus was actually quite womanizer in his younger years.(I was wondering where Gladio got it from) Until his wife came along and swept him of his feet. Which was quite literally, let me tell ya.

- Gladio by cannon loves to read all kinds of books even comics. I will let you on a little secret  tho ... Gladio´s guilty pleasure are spicy books with romantic plot.

- Ignis enjoyes museums, especialy the art one. He is always surprised by people's creativity and talent.

♡regis getting called in for one of those buzzfeed type "getting to know the caluems" type interviews that will later be broadcasted for the entertainment of his subjects. i imagine those interviewing him asking the basic questions, like the 'whats was your most fullfilling act as monarch' and 'what are your go to's when de-stressing?". ya know, questions you really dont have to use alot of brain power to think up. and i think regis would usually put up some more resistance when answering questions about himself, but this interviewer for some particular reason was just so easy to talk to. at times he'd even forgotten that the cameras were rolling and regis isnt ashamed to admit that he's let out a couple of hearty laughs during their chat. so she ups the ante a little, starts asking questions where he has to stop and think of a response. like "what was your greatest grief?" and "what was your happiest memory?"...youd think the questions would bring a somber note to the video but it doesnt. and then as the video concludes the interviewer asks the last question

🍅 I think irl the biggest misunderstanding is that this girl does not swear. To her 'fr*ck' is considered foul language.

As for in-universe stuff, she is fairly misunderstood. A lot of people would describe her as cold, mean, and disinterested. While she does come off as rude in her teenage years and early adulthood, she rarely intends to be.

Pyra is essentially the forgotten middle child. Her older sister is adored by their peers and her younger brother is a prodigy of sorts. A lot of people only really know her as 'the other Concordia sister'. It's something that's always bothered her and caused her to put up a lot of walls. The few people who have broken down those walls know that she's just a shy introverted nerd.

🌶 Her parents--

They were emotionally abusive towards all their children but Pyra got targeted more than her siblings since they couldn't brag about her like they could with the other two. She eventually cuts them off as much as she can with the support of her siblings and friends.

🧅 Surefire way to make her cry? There's quite a few but my favourite has to be bunnies.

She was about four months pregnant with Gladio when it happened. Clarus had a nature documentary on and she was captivated. Her eyes got all big and watery, utterly fixated on the cute little baby bunnies chewing on blades of grass. He asks her if she's okay and she bursts into full blown tears babbling about how cute they are.

🥑 Her kids!! She loves her kids more than anything in the whole world. Pyra would defend them even if they were in the wrong. She loves them unconditionally and is determined to make sure that they know it and that she always has their backs. As far as she's concerned her kids are perfect little angels who have never done a single thing wrong in their life.

Hit me with more FFXV astrology headcanons 💯

Alright so Ignis is my third fave, he is an Aquarius, born February 7th with the same birthday as Aerith Gainsborough from FF7. Ignis definitely radiates Aquarius vibes, which is Saturn-ruled, and tho Ignis is younger than Gladio, he definitely gives dad energy, and is 100% the Dad (or mom?? Parent I guess) of the group.

Aquarius Sun would give a Pisces, Aquarius, or Capricorn Mercury. I think Ignis is a lot more sensitive than we give him credit for, so I think Pisces is possible, but his method behind things is very Saturnian, meaning he’s methodical, hard working, serious - I mean, look at his outfit! That can’t be easy to run around in, but he’s gotta look business profesh at all times. So I think he’s got some Cap placements (or Aquarius, since both cap and Aquarius are Saturn ruled).

Also, he’s the only one even mildly aware of who tf Imperial Chancellor Izunia is lmao, when Ardyn decides to introduce himself while Titan is having a rampage, and Noctis is like “huh” so Ignis really is the only one who knows what is even going on at any given time lol. This just speaks to his maturity, he also absorbs a lot of knowledge easily - perhaps having a Virgo placement somewhere, or Gemini (both Mercury ruled). Like seriously imagine Noctis just flailing around WITHOUT Ignis or Gladio or Prompto lmaooo. He’d be a mess. But yeah Saturn gives people like “old soul” vibes or like, seeming way more mature for their age.

I FORGOT in my discussion of Prompto, but I’m going to insert it here lol. Every one of them is sus of Ardyn, EXCEPT PROMPTO LMAO, and he is like “maybe we can ask Ardyn for help” at some point, and it always makes me laugh. That blind trust feels very Libran (also Piscean, but I digress) and Libras CAN be more naive and try to see the good in everyone bc they are so instinctively drawn to partnering with people and building relationships. Poor Prompto 😭

I do think with Ignis’ cooking skills he has some Cancer placements. He isn’t cooking for himself, he’s cooking solely for his friends to increase their strength and skills. This is so Cancerian and speaks again to his being the dad of the group. So maybe he’s got a Cancer moon, or something.

I have a friend who is a Capricorn rising, with Cancer Sun, and Aquarius moon, and he’s SO like Ignis, and so I think Ignis would have some mix of Aquarius, Capricorn, and some Cancer. POSSIBLY Virgo from how fancy and proper he is (altho that could be the Capricorn influence).

I do want to talk about both Noctis and Lunafreya being Virgos, which feels like a weird choice, but I’ve rambled long enough lol.
