p is the most selfless person i know.. she’s compassionate, strong-minded, encouraging, spontaneous. the most independent woman i know. she keeps me grounded in so many ways and i can’t thank her enough for that. she’s like the only person who always understands my dry humor lol. when we used to live together and something was bothering me, i could never hide it from her because she’d always see past my smile. or my silence. she just gets me, a lot. she’s also the only person i’ve ever called my ‘best friend’ because i’ve never used that term loosely. we’ll go weeks and even months without talking but whenever we do catch up, it’s like nothing’s changed. 

mirror - which idol are you the most similar to?

i’d say i’m most like jinyoung?? i’m very caring towards my family and friends, and i tend to always put their needs before my own. i’d like to think i’m pretty observant. i’m hardworking, introspective, sarcastic, tough on the outside but gentle on the inside LOL. i downplay my accomplishments because i don’t like the attention on me (something i’m still working on). i like having alone time every once in a while so i can focus on the million and one thoughts and emotions in my head. i’m always giving life lessons to my friends?? idk this can apply to lots of idols but jinyoung came to mind first :’)

i like to dress pretty casual so you can almost always find me in a simple flowy top, black pants or jeans, and sneakers or boots! i don’t usually wear accessories but lately i’ve been wearing my bracelet from the love yourself tour!

omg jess. i’m more than happy to explain this. it all started while looking on pinterest when i came across this picture:

it had no details, but was pinned to some girl’s kpop board. that was my first lead, i clicked the picture and found a picture that had 24k on it so i googled it lol

i followed all the members on instagram: 24k | cory | kisu | jeonguk | changsun | jinhong | hongseob |  newest member: kiyong (i’ll go into details if you want) | there is a list of former members and one is on hiatus.

so anyways, one morning cory went live, but it was just audio because he said he looked really bad after being in the studio all day (which i highly doubt! 🙄) but like it was super late for him. but anyways… he was chatting with all of us. answering questions, laughing at that somebody touched my spaghet meme and my dumbass asked him if he liked hockey and he told me he has never watched it lol

like he literally chatted with all of us for an hour. i decided he was my bias right then and there. so my first impression of him was literally based on his personality. he’s fun… a little wild and a big nerd omg he’s a huge dork lol. and he is literally friends with so many people that i was surprised i hadn’t found him sooner. like he’s best friends with christian and peniel and some guy named michael and eddy of jjcc and he knows zelo.

so he’s the dad/leader of the group. born in korea, grew up in portland. his dad gave him the name cory because when you add ah to the end of cory it sounds like korea. the members always have him translate things to english for the foreign fans. he taught the members somebody touched my spaghet and always has a good laugh when one of them brings it up lol. he wants to own a corgi farm. he says folks a lot… A LOT.

at this point i’m just rambling about him. i have so many stories. like when christian wrote a poem about cory lmao it was like “cory likes bowling because it’s sort of like rolling” idk they are so weird lol. and one time he wanted suggestions on what to eat and i kept telling him waffles and he was like “listen if i could get waffles rn i would” lmao

and those are all the reasons why i love cory hong.
