➡️YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH...⬅️ Is what I would tell myself subconsciously all the time. I never thought twice as to WHY I was yo-yo dieting. I thought it was part of the dieting process. It was what I was taught. You lose the weight. You gain it all back. You lose it, then you gain it all back. It gets harder every single time. It's fucked. I hated myself for always failing. What is the point of dieting if I wasn't going to keep the weight off? And every year I just kept getting fatter and fatter. After years of working on myself, I know better. Although I was aware of the yo-yo dieting, I wasn't aware of what was CAUSING me to sabotage my efforts every single time. I yo-yo dieted so I could lose weight fast then go back to my shitty habits. 😭It was ME. 😭 Well, subconscious me. Because deep down inside, I didn't believe in myself. I believed I was meant to be fat for the rest of my life. I know saying this outloud sounds mean, but that was my belief. From years of programming as a grew up. I can finally say I'm free of this vicious cycle and have learned so much about myself in the last couple months. A weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Relief. I have learned to love my body in every stage of life. ✳What BELIEF about yourself is causing you to yo-yo diet?✳ This isn't easy, it takes a lot of asking yourself the hard questions and maybe dealing with trauma that you have learned to numb out. It took me years to finally let go of these negative beliefs and it took a lot of deep soul searching as to WHY I continued to do this to myself. I told myself I was confident woman but subconsciously I always believed I wasn’t good enough and would self-sabotage.
