➡️YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH...⬅️ Is what I would tell myself subconsciously all the time. I never thought twice as to WHY I was yo-yo dieting. I thought it was part of the dieting process. It was what I was taught. You lose the weight. You gain it all back. You lose it, then you gain it all back. It gets harder every single time. It's fucked. I hated myself for always failing. What is the point of dieting if I wasn't going to keep the weight off? And every year I just kept getting fatter and fatter. After years of working on myself, I know better. Although I was aware of the yo-yo dieting, I wasn't aware of what was CAUSING me to sabotage my efforts every single time. I yo-yo dieted so I could lose weight fast then go back to my shitty habits. 😭It was ME. 😭 Well, subconscious me. Because deep down inside, I didn't believe in myself. I believed I was meant to be fat for the rest of my life. I know saying this outloud sounds mean, but that was my belief. From years of programming as a grew up. I can finally say I'm free of this vicious cycle and have learned so much about myself in the last couple months. A weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Relief. I have learned to love my body in every stage of life. ✳What BELIEF about yourself is causing you to yo-yo diet?✳ This isn't easy, it takes a lot of asking yourself the hard questions and maybe dealing with trauma that you have learned to numb out.
