Struggled through today with study and taught a difficult-ish class I don't want to go into more detail about on here. Made progress with future lesson prep, portfolio assessment and another 100 words on essay. On a less stressful note, I did ywabreath and my beautiful moonstone earrings from tinymineceations (you can find on Etsy) arrived today as a treat to myself as well as a second hand Jack Wills cosy hoodie to feel warm and preppy like Rory's Yale years (kinda) 📚

2 exercise things? On a weeknight? Hell yeah!
I’m one week into Yoga with Adriene and I can already see my flexibility improving. My heels are much closer to touching the ground in downward dog and it’s feeling a lot less strenuous.

Snow running, yay 😃❄! I love snow! A slow ZR 5k run (the only downside of snow: My shoes are not watertight 😅), followed up by YWA Breath Day 2 😊. Now I'm done for the day but feeling accomplished!

Just finished Day 29 of Breath.
One more day to go. I’m nervous, and it’s an hour practice tomorrow, so I’m going to just need to roll out of bed all at once.
I think when I get home, if I am able, have the energy, etc, I am going to go ahead and do the Bridge calendar. So I’ll do Peaceful Warrior.
Then, tomorrow, Day 30: Begin.
And then after that, I will start Home. I hope some of you will join me. @fatmaninalittlesuit I think you are on Day 1 of Home, I hope it goes well.
@nerdy-teddy-diet I know when I get confused by what she’s saying, I just like to watch her for a few minutes, then replay that part of the video and do my best
When I started breath, there were a lot of poses and movements I couldn’t do, and now I’m keeping up just fine. So I guess I’m saying, maybe Home won’t be the right practice, and maybe yoga isn’t going to work for you, who knows? But if you’re not sure what to do, don’t give up.
Also, tumblr friends, Adriene has a website, with a supportive forum community, who have tips, and advice, and comfort, and are just wonderful supportive people, and I wouldn’t have made it through the 30 day challenge without their positivity just radiating all around. So if you want the calendars and emails etc, might be worth it to join her lil community. (no, it’s not the paid app)
