A wave of light breached the darkness of the room as the two stumbled into it, the sounds of the party receding into the distance as the world of the two men was reduced to each other.

"Goddamn it" Zaeed said between heavy breaths as Javik's bristled tongue went along his neck, tracing the many scars on his skin with it as the prothean's sharped teeth pulled softly at his ear while tightly gripping his ass. With a few quick moves, the mercenary's yellow armour laid on the floor. Zaeed wondered for a moment how the prothean seemed to know how to remove an armour so quickly, but that thought quickly faded away as he found himself pressed against the wall, and after having his arms placed together above his head by Javik, he felt a surge of energy weaving around his skin.

Looking up, he saw the biotic energy wrapping itself around his wrists in circles, its shape making him think of the handcuffs of old he had seen in videos. Giving them a quick tug, he realized the biotics kept his arm tightly in place above his head.

"Hadn't seen green biotics before" the merc uttered "Wonder what else of yours is green"

The prothean gave him a wicked look as he kneeled, the way those four yellow glowing eyes focused on him making the erection between Zaeed's legs get even stronger.

1) What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?*

I don’t get most of the Javik-centric pairings. He’s not the romantic type, and I feel like you’d have to really stretch canon to make it seemed like he was sweet on anyone. Unless he goes through a MAJOR change after the war, any relationship he’s in will probably be full of emotional abuse. 

7) Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?*

This fandom’s been pretty good to me. I have blacklisted Garrus tags on AO3 because certain Shakarian shippers think it’s cute to bash Kaidan. 

14) Unpopular opinion about your fandom?

I don’t mind Thane dying in ME3. I mind how quickly it happens and and how quickly the crew moves on, but I find it unrealistic that someone would find a cure for Kepral Syndrome that fast, especially since Drell are a minority in Citadel space. There just wouldn’t be enough funding, especially in the middle of a war. I love Thane, don’t get me wrong. But I’ve lost a family member to CF, and while medical science helps CF patients live longer these days, it still hasn’t cured Cystic Fibrosis.

I know the Legendary Edition is not a remake. But there is a slight bit of hope that there will be some changes made. Here is what I’d like to hopefully see changed in the Legendary Edition

ME1

Give us Spectre Armor. We have Spectre like weapons, so armor would be good. Although I will still settle for Colossus  X

On the Cerberus levels, let the Cerberus troopers have Cerberus Assault Armor and give us a Cerberus officer or scientist to face with dialogue

ME2

After accessing the M-44 Hammerhead and completing the Firewalker pack, we’ll get to explore planets and mission with the Hammerhead

Give us the option to remove Jack and Thane’s shades in the Alternate Appearance pack

ME3

Ashley keeps her hair in a bun. Her casual outfit is the typical Alliance Crewman uniform Shepard starts out with. Ashley’s default armor is the Phoenix armor and her alternate armors are any full body armor. Ashley is not Miranda, she did not need to wear less and less hair. Ashley would only let her hair down in the romance scene. Also give Ashley more interactions on The Normandy. Ashley should have crew moments with Joker, Adams, Ashley at the monument mourning those who died with the original Normandy, Liara, Tali and Garrus.

We would see Tali’s face on Rannoch. When she unmasks we actually see it. Oh and if we romance Tali we get to see her face again in the romance scene. 

Michael Beattie voices Mordin

Give us a James and Javik romance. Femshep and James flirting was great and I was disappointed that Shega fans were deprived of a romance and instead given a terrible one night stand that comes off as date rape. Shepard and Javik are kindred spirits and they did nothing with them. Maybe start off a romance after the memory shard scene. If Javik activates it, Femshep will hold his hand and Javik is moved by this and it is the start of Shavik!

Better romances for the ME 2 Squad romances. No cut to black shit. Give us a build up. We make out and it looks like we are about to get in bed and then cut to black. Jack, Miranda, Garrus and Tali deserved better. For example. Jack clears out Purgatory and Shepard and Jack has the romance scene in the bar. Miranda, same as we got but in more time before cutting to black. We see Tali’s face before she pounces on us. More tender moments with Garrus before cutting to black.

Make Miranda and Jack Squad members. I don’t see why not. Taking away Miranda from the squad was one of the dumbest decisions of the game. Jack could’ve coordinated her students from the Normandy while still helping Shepard out. 

Add the ME2 squad members to the Citadel DLC story. Again, why? Why wasn’t Jack, Miranda, Grunt, Samara, Jacob, and Kasumi not added? I understand that the voice actor for Zaeed died, so there is no chance of Zaeed being added. But why not REALLY making it feel like Team Hammerhead by actually adding the ME2 Squad members to the Citadel DLC before the party?

Give more context to the ending or at the very least explain it’s due to dark energy, not AI and organics and explain that EDI could be rebooted and the Geth could be rebuilt.

Actually show our War assets at work and in the ending show us the affects of our choices instead of a slideshow. I want to see how we improved or hurt the galaxy.

HEY I'm so sorry to make you wait like 34 years for a response on this lmao the last two weeks have been utterly draining. I actually slept like 16 hours today or something SHEESH.

I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?

I've tried a variety of ships this year - including Shepard x Miranda, Ashley, Liara, Zaeed, James, Kaidan, various OCs, and of course Garrus. I've even read fics about cloneshep too.

But out of those, shakarian is the one I bookmark the most lmao

And in the spirit of honesty - I gravitate toward shakarian angst lmao

See, I'm very attached to Shepard. I love to see the different ways people write her. Femshep is close to my heart because I'm a woman and I work in a male-dominated field. Femshep is respected in a way I want to be. I feel like Garrus - romanced or not - gives her that respect and deep companionship without overly idol worshipping her. He has a lighthearted manner of speaking while also being able to talk about serious topics. He really is a cool dude.

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?

Uhhhh a few. I wrote a renegade Shepard fic that might transition into big time angst. I have a bunch of scattered WIPs I can't fucking keep track of.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

I live in this completely irrational headspace where I feel like I'm committing a crime if I specifically write a trope. My stupid oppositional brain thinks tropes are something to be dodged rather than embraced. Help me I don't understand tropes at all.

I am a fan since: I started Dragon Age on NYE 2014, and kind of followed Mass Effect gamers a little before that. They kept recommending it to me but I felt weird about an RPG in space. Eventually I got around to playing the trilogy for the first time in January of 2016.

Favorite game of the series?: Don’t make me chooooooossseeeee...... Mass Effect 3.

There’s a certain emotional rawness that really grips at me, and that really has me relate to the core plot line of the game. I love 2 a lot, but I think overall I love 3 a lot more.

MShep or FShep?: I play both equally. My canon Shepard is MShep, and my AU Shepard is (f)Shep.

Earthborn, Colonist, or Spacer: Earthborn is my favorite because it kinda fits to how I felt growing up. Sure I had “parents” but they weren’t great people. So as I grew up and moved out, I felt on my own a lot because of how they act towards me and about me.

Spacer is a close second. Talking about Shepard’s mom in 3 during the Citadel DLC and asking Hackett about her tugs the heartstrings...

Biotics or Tech: Ok I am torn here. My canon Shepards are always Infiltrators. But even so, I rarely use tech abilities. Mostly in 2/3, but not a lot. I do love Vanguard a lot, but not getting Sniper Rifle training until the collector ship in 2, always bugs me... just give me a sniper rifle and biotics (at the beginning) you cowards!! lmfao

I do prefer Biotics in Andromeda a lot more though.

Paragon or Renegade: Renegade for life bitches!! Except when talking to Cortez and/or the romance option.

Do you have an AU?: Yes! I never ended up writing the long fic for it, but it’s called Powerless. It follows my (extreme) canon divergent AU Shepard, Alessa; and her descent through addiction and PTSD, her relationship with Bailey, her dishonorable discharge, and forgiving the crew member who’s report eventually lead to her discharge. Also her friendship with Garrus and meeting two Turian OCs I have too!!

Favorite Class?: Infiltrator first as my canon, then Vanguard for any other non canon Shepard.

Favorite Companion: CORTEZ. “But Viktor, he’s not a comp-.” CORTEZ IS MY FAVORITE COMPANION. HE IS MY PILOT AND MY BOYFRIEND.

Least Favorite Companion: In terms of personality? Liara. I admire her at times sure and she has some good in her, but I think BioWare did her kinda dirty so as a result I don’t like how she was written.

In terms of squad selection? Anyone who doesn’t have biotics or tech specialties. I use biotics and tech a lot more than just weapons so I usually just go full on into tech and biotic specialist while I handle weapons.

Favorite Mission: Priority Earth (London), hands down | DLC: Leviathan, but the part where you are flying off world and the romance in the party fusses over you as you wake up.

Favorite Loyalty Mission: Eye for an Eye. Because I don’t care what the fandom says, I will 100000% always let Garrus shoot Sidonis.

Favorite DLC: Leviathan, it gave a REALLY good look into the background of the Reapers.

Control, Synthesis or Destroy: Destroy. All day every day. The only non Destroy endings I got were my first ever run of the Trilogy and I selected Refuse. And my non canon Shepards choose Control. Favorite Weapon: Black Widow, the really expensive one.

COMING UP WITH A LIST OF MASS EFFECT TAGS

There are different categories of content with a list of potential tags the Mass Effect trilogy and Mass Effect Andromeda fandom already uses. The goal of this post is to find the most popular tag used by the fandom to facilitate posting for content creators. 

If there is already a common popular tag in place like (CharacterA x CharacterB) we don't need to come up with a pairing name such as "beautiful lilac from the clouds", right? But if there is such a pairing name being used as a tag, we need to know...  Sometimes it’s the opposite. We have a pairing name but it's not the one used for the ship's content tag... In that case, we need to know the tag, that’s our priority.
