I also have chronic hives and trouble swallowing like you said and I just assume I have hives like inside my throat. Idk though, I haven't asked my doctor about it bc I want to go see an allergist about the hives. I saw one years ago and she diagnosed them but she's no longer practicing and I hate having to go to a new doctor. Anyway I might bring it up to your doctor but honestly the only thing my allergist recommend for the hives was like 4 zertec a day plus a Benadryl at night.

That seems like a lot of allergy meds every day! Granted I’m no doctor so maybe that’s fine. Honestly mine are so easy to ignore I don’t really see a point in talking to doctors about it, cause they’d either send me to an allergist or dermatologist and my insurance doesn’t really cover much

Ok, so I’m curious even though I’m not expecting much of a response.

Went into the doc today get a weird rattling sensation checked out. Like when you’ve come down with a cold or something and there’s a bit of fluid trolling you there. Like that sort of sensation.

Doc said x-rays were normal, but did show some mild congestion (annoyed she didn’t put THAT in the notes, but that’s a whole other issue). Recommended zertec to me at which I rolled my eyes mentally because that’s what she said the last time.

Per last time: I’ve had this chronic sort of meager cough that’s almost more like a clearing-throat type. No wheezing, etc. Last time I brought this up she meh’d me and sent me off with zertec.

Anyway, idk if it’s because I made a side comment that my cardio abilities have always been shit or what but she sent me home with a rescue inhaler. I’m rather baffled by that since she just said it was for the congestion.

I’d love some input from people with like very mild asthma because I’m wondering if she suspects it even though she didn’t say anything about it or getting re-checked. Or if like inhalers can be used for this sort of thing and not just asthma.

Pacing the floor of the ruins you couldn't help your worry, thumb brushing over the shiny gem of the newly obtained item. You didn't ask for it nor did you even want it. What sort of ambition triggered this unfortunately series of events? You racked your brain for some attempt at a conclusion but none came.

Your worry instead shifted to your companion's reaction. You'd only known the Bough Keeper for a few months at this point, but his disdain for Celestia was just as clear as yours. You sighed, stopping in the middle of the room. You looked down at the vision in your hand, bouncing it a few times.

You turned and threw it at the wall, the action not as strong as it would have been given your surprise at seeing Dainsleif ducking through the doorway. The vision bounced off the stone wall beside him and you both watched it skid across the floor, hitting your foot. The vision remained perfectly intact, the rumours about them being impossible to break apparently rang true.

Blue eyes flicked to the item and then he turned his attention to you, watching quietly as you bent down to pick the item up. "It would seem you have been busy in my absence." His tone held no ill intent as he moved to the makeshift table situated in the corner, pulling papers from his vest.

"I didn't ask for it."

"I'm aware." Dainsleif situated the document with the rest, once more standing straight. "Few mortals have choice in whether or not they receive a blessing from the Gods." He raised his hands to do air quotations over 'blessing', a soft smile on his face. "Do not fret." He once more dropped his arms to his side.

Despite the subtle reassurance, you couldn't help but ponder the meaning as you once more looked at the shiny gem. You hadn't even noticed the blond move, his speed always a surprise when he wanted it to be. A hand rested on your head momentarily, gaze pointed away from you. "Truly, do not worry. You need not use it if you wish not to." He gently patted your head before he headed towards the doorway.

"Come along, we have things to do."
