After spending like 3 days listening to all 600 whatever the fuck of my Super Junior songs I can still confirm that every Super Junior song is a good song including Gulliver, Motorcycle, and Super Duper

I love this song so much. The first time I heard it though I didn't know it was by Super Junior because it didn't sound like them. They have a certain sound, a certain style with their music and to me this song didn't fit into the Super Junior category. I thought it was a younger/newer group like Seventeen or some of the ones I've added to Liked on Spotify with the intention to listen to later (and if I don't like the song I can remove it from the list later). The first part sounds a little like them, but when I heard the rap parts I was like "there is no way this is Super Junior" -after I had heard one of the member's voices and I had an idea of who the group singing could be. But after a few more minutes I had to look at my phone to see who was singing and when I saw that it was actually Super Junior I was shocked. And the first rap part, when I heard the voice I thought it sounded like Donghae (or Eunhyuk, I feel bad that I still get them mixed up). Then I heard Shindong and I think I freaked out a little because even though he isn't my bias I do love Shindong.

Anyway, this is a great song, the whole group has amazing discography from the start when they were a full 15-member group (and Henry playing his violin just would have made the group soo much cooler if only SM had let him and Zhoumi continue to be members).

i don't think it's possible for me to put into words how surreal it is to see all fifteen of them at the same venue to celebrate ryeowook and ari's marriage

it's almost been 20 years since debut. probably even longer for some of them due to how much time they spent together as trainees.

ryeowook somehow managed to get all of them, even the ones that are the most difficult to find, under one roof.

hangeng flew over from china for this. he's a husband and a dad now, and he hasn't worked in korea for over a decade. based on his public activities, he probably sees henry the most these days thanks to street dance of china.

kangin's been officially out of suju for 5-6 years now. i still remember the day he dropped the announcement as ot9 were about to get on a plane for a concert. yet zhoumi and him went camping this past year, and he's still their rock of embarrassing dad humor after all these years. the members sometimes rep his new clothing brand demebeta.

kibum has been missing in action for a looong time. he did a youtube video with heechul once as a public catch up of sorts and then continued to lie in the woodwork, on brand for the massive introvert that he is.

sungmin has bravely gone off to conquer trot by himself after his whole wedding fiasco from years ago. i'm glad that he's seemed to have made his peace with it and has started forging a new path, yet i'm still livid that he had to to begin with. perpetually the official yet unofficial member, he still showed up for eunhyuk's dad's funeral and he came for ryeowook's wedding.

these 15 guys have so much history. so many fights and large good/bad life events under their belt. they've made it through all of this, and that's how they're able to punch under the belt and make jokes about what used to be a painful time. i don't expect outsiders to understand their sense of humor with each other, because they're not the intended audience.

i guess what i'm trying to say is i'm glad they were able to come together. suju will always be 15, even if the company or other elf say otherwise. they will always be a cohort of 15 brothers.

We need your help! Some Chinese E.L.F want to boycott Super Junior M and also Super Junior if Zhoumi and Sungmin come back to the group. The international ELFs do not want a repeat of what happened a few years ago, because due to pressure from some fans Sungmin was kicked out of Super Junior for getting married and "not telling the fans before" about his engagement. And with Zhoumi and Henry, when they were active as members of Super Junior M, fans hated them on social media and at the same concerts they turned away to not see their performances and even turned off their lightsticks.

To this day, Zhoumi still feels a bit uncomfortable when he is on stage with Super Junior due to the rejection he experienced in those years (and unfortunately still lives today). Here is an example of how in this return of Zhoumi in the Super Show 9 Encore in Seoul Hyukjae notices his insecurity and gives him confidence to take a final photo with them saying "We are all Super junior" and putting him closer at him.

If you don't agree with this situation please join this petition and if possible by supporting zhoumi and Sungmin's new comeback we will being thankfully.

And yay! mini elf fam, I like it lol. Nct are actually one of the few groups I got to see debut, but I was a casual listener till Cherry Bomb era. I bias more than half of nct already 😭 but to name a few; kun, yangyang, haechan, sungchan, shotaro, johnny, yuta. Wby? 👀 I don't have a fave subunit since each one has a different vibe/sound, so I like all of them. Fave era? I have a lot, but Resonance was pretty legendary.

Starry Night is a beautiful song, I was obsessed when it came out haha. Their vocals sound so good together. Sj-m is my fave subunit in suju, so having zhoumi & wookie collab was the closest to a reunion for me. Eunhyuk is bound to bias wreck you, he's amazing! & I agree D&E always serves.

I've seen a few of their snl skits, they're hilarious. The one where hae is asked why he's crying while looking at a mirror & he's like "I'm so handsome" lives rent free in mind 😭 and totally agree w you!

I really need to sort through my splits, see if I can pinpoint a theme the earliest ones I know for certain are fictives because they were comfort characters. Almost all are completely dormant these days...

Bells Beach é uma localidade costeira no sul da Austrália que, apesar de famosa pelos eventos de surf, raramente é um hotspot de turistas em contrapartida à Sidney e Melbourne, principalmente fora das épocas de campeonatos, quando nem o público aficionado por surf costuma visitá-la, mas é aqui e em uma dessas épocas de campeonatos que os destinos de uma contadora de Seul e um biólogo de Shangai foram entrelaçados, a contadora, apaixonada por surf, mas com raras oportunidades de praticar ou até mesmo assistir, não viu como poderia perder a oportunidade de se manter tão próxima ao mar com o biólogo, que se mantinha no país com um visto a trabalho, usado para estudar a vida marinha nos costões rochosos do local. Apesar de tudo ter começado por interesse e apesar dos protestos das famílias de ambos — devido a rivalidade notável entre China e Coreia do Sul —, os dois conseguiram nutrir amor um pelo outro com o tempo e assim começaram a construir suas raízes no local, a coreana passou a trabalhar em uma grande empresa e o chinês apenas continuou seu trabalho com pesquisas. Como biólogo, ele era apaixonado por animais e era incapaz de vê-los abandonados pelas ruas e foi assim que, acidentalmente, construiu uma espécie de ONG a animais abandonados na própria casa e ganhou os corações dos vizinhos com a suas boas ações.

Em 2000, o casal teve seu primeiro e único filho, o qual chamaram de Haru. Apesar de amado pelos mais velhos da vizinhança, foi ainda criança que o jovem mestiço aprendeu o quão cruel as crianças podem ser, as comidas culturais que levava de casa eram sempre ridicularizadas pelas crianças, em sua grande maioria brancas, o que fazia Haru frequentemente jogá-las fora ao invés de comer, e o garoto raramente conseguia formar laços com pessoas de sua idade quando elas sempre o respondiam com deboche, fazendo uma imitação esdrúxula e estereotipada de um sotaque asiático. Claro que a culpa não era das crianças, que só imitavam o comportamento racista que seus pais, que fingiam tratar tão bem o menino e seus pais, tinham em quatro paredes. Foi por essa falsidade da vizinhança que os pais de primeira viagem nunca notaram que havia algo de errado com o garoto, assumindo que o comportamento tímido e recluso de Haru fosse apenas um traço natural de sua personalidade.

Logo criança, Haru criou uma paixão pela música, pelo mar e pelos animais, hobbies herdados de seus pais, aprendeu a tocar instrumentos de corda, como violão e ukulele, cantar e surfar ensinado pelos pais e apenas se aperfeiçoou com professores locais. O que os pais nunca sucederam em perceber era que o amor pelos animais do garoto e a dedicação pelos hobbies eram formas de fugas da realidade e era apenas o fato que se dedicava apenas aos hobbies e aos estudos que o menino poderia ser considerado um jovem prodígio, mas o casal Lim não tinha a família próxima e estavam tendo a primeira experiência com cuidar de uma criança, então, apesar do amor, eles eram inocentes e isolados demais para perceber os sinais. Com 11 anos, o garoto teve o primeiro contato com a cultura de busking e se maravilhou com um grupo de bboys de Shanghai, foi assim que acabou entrando de cabeça nessa cultura de dança de rua, sendo a primeira habilidade completamente auto didata que Haru se dedicou a aprender, o que apenas piorou sua personalidade reclusa, fazendo o garoto perceber que podia dedicar aos seus hobbies mesmo quando estava longe de professor e adultos. Foi assim que também aprendeu a habilidade de cavalgar, com ajuda de um grupo de cavalos resgatados por seu pai.

Em 2018, Haru se mudou para uma república em Sidney, para iniciar os estudos de veterinária na University of Sydney, apesar de em um novo local, uma cidade grande e recheada de turistas e estudantes "como ele", a personalidade tímida e insegura nunca foi deixada para trás, as feridas causadas pela exclusão em sua cidade natal já estavam profundas demais para serem curadas e agora eram uma marca permanente em Haru. Ele tinha confiança quando se focava em seus hobbies, mas apenas quando estava sozinho ou quando estava acompanhado de animais - como quando se esforçou para conseguir o seu certificado de cavaleiro registrado em uma hípica de Sidney. Ele até se encontrou quando foi convidado uma banda cover com colegas da faculdade que também era apaixonados por música e participava ocasionalmente das rodas de break dance do campus, mas esses hobbies eram uma exceção: as roupas largas, os capuzes, chapéus e bonés típicos do estilo bboy, que ele acabou exportando como sua principal marca no dia a dia, ajudavam o garoto a esconder o rosto e, principalmente, os olhos tipicamente asiáticos que tanto odiava quando se olhava no espelho e, assim, sua confiança era consideravelmente elevada nesses momentos.

Logo após completar o oitavo semestre de sua universidade, no fim de 2021, Haru foi abordado por um olheiro da Cultural Media em uma das viagens com sua mãe a Seul, sendo convidado para uma audição na empresa, incentivado a participar já que "não tinha nada melhor para fazer" pela mãe que sempre vira a paixão por canto e dança do filho - e que, secretamente, sempre havia sido uma fã do gênero kpop -, Haru acabou indo a audição. Apesar de ter apresentado como fazia normalmente: o rosto parcialmente escondido pelas roupas, Haru foi chamado para mais etapas de audições até ser oficialmente recrutado como trainee. Apesar de assustado e sem entender muito o que futuro reservava para si, Haru deu um voto de confiança para a empresa, trancando o curso de veterinária quase completo na Austrália e passando a focar nos treinos na empresa. A experiência passada e a dedicação fizeram Haru se tornar rapidamente um trainee destaque, sendo sua maior falha apenas a falta de confiança, então somado ao treinamento usual, Haru passou por um intenso treino de imagem, praticamente exclusivo, com grandes professores de atuação, já que era bem mais fácil para a empresa ensiná-lo a esconder a insegurança do que realmente fazê-lo a perder.
